Nos habíamos quedado aquí antes, en otra habitación, y nos fue muy bien, por eso decidimos volver. La cama es súper cómoda y la habitación es espaciosa. Además, piden no entrar con zapatos, lo que hace pensar que todo debería estar muy limpio. Sin embargo, las alfombras tipo esponja en los baños están bastante manchadas y no transmiten sensación de higiene, sobre todo porque no es un material fácil de lavar después de cada estadía. Creemos que sería mejor usar toallas de piso simples, para que el espacio se sienta más limpio.

First thing…this is not a hotel in the standard sense…more like a hostel with a shared common area. if you want more privacy you may be ok with one of the stand alone casitas. Also our room had no hot water except a suicide shower so just be aware. Check-in was more like a condo with a key box. not really a big deal just wasn’t ready for that. We did a standard room an it was tight and the ac blew right on our face so again another room may have been much better. Garden was beautiful and views form yeh shred living was very nice. Perhaps if we had been staying longer and had a better room i’d have felt differently as the view, common areas with a kitchen you could cook your own food would have been nice. Had we chose a different room it amy have been a great place. Just wasnt prepared. wanted a hotel and got something different.

The room was great and the common area is nice too. WiFI and AC worked great. My only complaint is that I couldn't find anyone when I tried to check in. There is no office. Everything is conducted remotely. Once I was clued into this, it went much more smoothly - but for awhile I thought I might have to just leave and find another place.

It wasn't what I expected. A room where I was asked to take my shoes off when inside. Contactless check-in was a hassle. Got a question - ask the Virtual Assistant. I don't have a problem with new trends, but when it comes to stays, I prefer the human contact.

The check-in process is virtual, which was different for me. Once I set up WhatsApp on my mobile device, it was easy. The virtual staff was very responsive. Lots of guidance was given on using the Villa facilities and local attractions and dining.

DOOR DOESN’T LOCK. I was able to open my room door while it was locked. Felt very unsafe. Tiny room in a VERY public space. Had to walk through a kitchen full of strangers to arrive at my room, there is no other entrance. Very noisy neighbors all night, got no sleep. Room is clean and area is nice looking but that’s it. Very expensive for what they offer. DO NOT RECOMMEND! Terrible experience.

Nice facility. Seems no one wanted to cook, including us. It is in town and can be noisy on the weekends. Staff was very accommodating to our requests. You can leave your luggage in the lobby if you get there too early for check in or too late for check out; it’s not secured so you might want to bring a lock. Fortunately, wasn’t an issue.
Boquete is humid. There may have been a little mold in the bathroom. I wasn’t going to look that closely.
There’s a little bit of a hill to climb to get there. Very close to shops, restaurants, river, park, etc.

The WhatsApp front desk was very responsive to any questions and we appreciated the way they communcated. The room in this old house was huge! The bed was comfortable. The thing that bothered me was that most of the floorboards of the hardwood floor were loose. This meant every step was very loud. It was not pleasant when getting up in the middle of the night. I felt bad for other guests in the building.

The room was in very good condition and the Villa is very nice. The grounds are lovely. Our room though was so small my husband and I hard a hard time maneuvering around each other and our luggage in the room. Also, the bed had a little hump in the middle so I felt like I was rolling off the bed at night. The bathroom also is so small even a petite person like me had to sit almost sideways so my knees weren’t knocking into the wall in front of the toilet. Check-in was also a little cumbersome being all digital. However, for 1 person, especially a petite person, the room would probably be fine. And I’m sure there are much larger rooms and suites that we would have preferred at the Villa.

They gave me one of two rooms that were upstairs. I was under the impression that the rooms at this location were studio rooms in cabins where a beautiful garden was outside your door. I was completely taken a back by the room given to me as it was up steep, slick ceramic stairs. I would not have booked at this location had I known that. I have a bad knee and the hills in Boquete I knew would be a challenge I was willing to take, just didn’t want a stair challenge to go with it. My room had a balcony with a Mountain View but pretty much everywhere in Boquete has a Mountain View. My balcony was right over the little parking area and had a street light that illuminated the room at night. It did not come equipped with blackout curtains or even a dark curtain. White curtains that allowed the light to come in. Could have been solved with a sleeping mask which I accidentally left at home on my nightstand.
The room itself was clean and well appointed with hot water. The bed was comfortable. No faults whatsoever.
Be aware that the check in is completely on line, and a little bit of a pain for the tech challenged. Typing everything on my small iPhone took a lot of time. And nobody around to help me get my luggage upstairs and I hurt my back the first official day of vacation in 28 years.
No fault with the location as it is a couple blocks from Boquete town. The staff was lovely and helpful even with the language barrier which I do not have issues with.

Nothing worked for me. It's 100% virtual, so no real help. And, they are 100% unwilling to give when all goes wrong. First, when I pre-checked in a few days prior, I was assured I'd get my code & key upon arrival. Not so.
Day of arrival (I was on a tour all day) I was told I had \"documents\" to sign before I'd get my code!
That plus trying to find my room's lockbox with key took 45 min--I was already exhausted. All that was so stressful, I became ill for the whole next day. But, there's more.
I explained all this to them and their \"policies\" didn't \"allow\" them to even reimburse me for that 1 of 4 nights! But they \"care\" so much about me as their guest.
THEN, the \"studio\" was so tiny I could barely (and I'm only 150 at 5'7\") get around the bed much less have room to walk elsewhere. AND there was NO chair to sit in. NONE. There were only 2 uncomfortable stools that didn't even allow sitting back in; too unstable and not enough back on them!
I couldn't leave that night but did the next morning before 11 a.m. but still they would not even consider reimbursing me for that one, much less the entire booking.
I'm older, so maybe young people love it, but I hated it and could not be comfortable at all...even the bed was too low to have a comfy sit.
I returned to the Panamanian style hotel I'd been in where the room was large and comfy but not perfect. I loved --the staff were fantastic!

I had a good experience at Villa Alejandro. They did not have a front desk but the virtual reception was prompt and very helpful. You must register in advanced before they provide you with code to access to key to your room.
I stayed at Casita 3 and it was clean and spacious. It has a nice private balcony.
This property is conveniently close to various shops, restaurants, and groceries stores.

The no shoe policy for a place with tile flooring throughout was annoying. Having to deal with the people who run the place everytime I used the one table for breakfast was awkward. The fact that the place had 3 spoons and forks for 7 units to share was poor planning. the ice maker never allowed more than a cube or two. the water dispenser on the refrigerator didn't provide water. It was a beautiful location yet the operation is not customer eccentric to say the least,

Villa Alejandro is a lovely property close to the Central street in Boquete that has all the major restaurants but is on a quiet street. It does not provide hotel like service but rooms are clean, well furnished with all key amenities. The personnel are very friendly- Ricky has been such a positive part of our stay!

We had a lovely stay. It is very centrally located, close to all that Boquete has to offer. It had a lovely garden and a full kitchen we could use. The staff were very helpful and the communication (through WhatsApp was excellent!). I think the room could be updated, most notably the bathroom which was a bit run down. There was also a lot of storage but only two hangers. Small thing but something to note.

A very nice villa. The staff are very friendly and communication is easy. My room was sleek, modern, beautiful furnished with a full kitchenet. And Coffee! A full size coffee maker with everything necessary. Air conditioning is available but I preferred to open the balcony doors and windows for the morning air. All windows and doors have screens to keep the bugs out. The villa is located about 3 blocks from via Boquete (main road) and my room faced the mountain so it was peaceful and quiet. All of the town is within walking distance.

Villa Alejandro was a great place to stay. Its location was very centric, and although Boquete isn’t too big, everything seemed just that much closer. We stayed at one of the Casitas and it allowed for great privacy and we come and go as we pleased. The Casita was spacious, equipped with a kitchenette and a small balcony. It was great and I would definitely recommend it.

We stayed at this lodging, one of three under the same ownership in Boquete. This one was closest to town, where everything is a 15-minute walk. We had a great room near the common kitchen area where we were designated cupboard and refrigerator space. The staff were continuously available from morning to evening and were very personable and helpful. We could walk to our tour pickup spots, and nearby grocery stores and restaurants kept us from lacking anything. The nights were quiet even though a nearby festa was taking place, with loud music. We wish we had planned to be there longer!

The ad was fraudulent - no spa, no gym, no views (except from the lobby.). We booked a “family house”. It was two blocks away from the main building. It was in a very noisy neighborhood. There were lights on at night outside the house with very flimsy curtains. Between the dogs barking, the drunks yelling and the bright lights glaring in our bedroom, we got no sleep at all. When we asked to speak to the manager, all we received were “maybe later” messages. We checked out after one night - We are working with our credit card to get a refund. Expedia was no help at all in this regard. I am certain that no one will ever see this review.

First, this is a great location. We were able to talk around town very easily and there was a grassy area near the main building where we could park.

We stayed in one of the little house-like buildings. Overall it was clean and set up great for anyone who might be having an extended stay. The only thing was that at night it wasn't a very dark room and as soon as the sun is up there was a lot of light. One side is just a wall of window and unfortunately the curtains were not very good at blocking out the light. I had a sleeping mask so I was fine, but this might be good to keep in mind for anyone who needs a really dark room to sleep.

Friendly staff, great communication. We were there during the flower festival and very loud music from the town played until 4am the first night. The next night the music didn't go on past midnight. Then the next 2 nights it was quiet. I guess the loud nights are Thursday, Friday, Saturday and especially during flower festival. The room was okay, but felt more like a hostal. They have casitas but we were in a room. It's like a house with entry, common sitting area, kitchen and our room was right next to all of that so we heard everything in the house. The staff are in the main part of the house from about 8am-6pm so we saw and heard them during that time. They require shoes off so needed to carry shoes outside before putting them on.

The casita was lovely and quite comfortable. We had a couple of minor issues like a light bulb out. It was replaced very quickly. The staff is excellent no matter who is on duty. They could answer all questions, responded quickly if we needed something, contacted a very good, safe taxi driver for us. They made our stay very pleasant. We will return and stay here.

The views from the outdoor (shared) terrace was absolutely stunning. We had it to ourselves each time we sat out there. We loved the location- it was 3 blocks off the main street in Boquette, so it was quiet and peaceful, but still very walkable to everything in town. The staff was wonderful, especially Abdul. He helped us with anything we needed. He even arranged for a cab to pick us up for an early flight on a Sunday. We cant wait to return for another stay!

The staff gets 5 stars while the room quality and the deceiving and inaccurate description of the room gets 1 star: average of 3.
When we checked in at 3pm the floor was dirty and cleaned in front of us. The bathroom looked dingy but we were told those were hard water stains.
Kudos to the photographer who took pictures of the room! Deception at its best! The pics fail to show the wet bar in the honeymoon suite, which is not only an useless eyesore but also utterly disgusting as that sink was not cleaned in ages. The view is beautiful indeed, but a pic closer to the window would also show the roofs of the town not just the beautiful tree tops. The flooring is not beautiful and shining, but spotted, squeaking, and with holes between planks.
The bathroom sink is stained and chipped.
The bed is described online as having Tempur-Pedic mattress and Egyptian cotton sheets: this is what ticked the most as both are bogus. The mattress is a standard box spring that has passed its prime. The sheets are low count thin cotton.
Similar to other reviewers, is the thing about paying for towels that you stain: you stain a towel, you must pay for a whole set.
Coffee, fridge, and a fully equipped kitchen are available downstairs in the common area. Whatever you use, you must wash & put away
Room service is available upon request only.
Laundry services are available on the premises: $7.5 small load & $15 larger load.
The staff was very nice and helpful!
