Very nice family cabin, seemed recently renewed, restaurant was great and the breakfast was complete and with local variety. My only suggestion is to consider a night stand in the upper bedroom to place your items and luggage support to make it more comfortable.

Tree Trek Boquete Adventure Park has every experience that you would like to try, from rum, coffee and honey tasting to extreme sports like canoping.

Their guides are amazing and they will make you feel the experience.

The hotel is on a mountain 30 minutes from Boquete and they have a shuttle that will take from from the hotel to the center, just ask for the schedule at fhe front desk and register before taking the transfer.

The hotel rooms are clean and the staff is very friendly.

This is the first time staying and I can’t wait to comeback.

Very confusing. Lady at check in said Breakfast starts at 7am; the man in reception at 7am didn't speak any english and didn't understand anything. We ate at the restaurant the night before and it cost 59.34 with tax; when I paid at check out it was 60.XX something, he couldn't explain to me why it went up, we gave a tip to dinner staff the night before so it wasn't that. Very Confusing why it was 1.50 or more the next day. The cabin was fine. I am fine using Google Translate but under these circumstances it made the transaction very frustrating.

This place and people was very nice. There was 3 things that they should fix, 1) Hot water takes a long time and is very weak. 2) the shower floor is very slippery. 3) the room was in the dark side, I personally don't like it was difficult for me to find things at night. The attention was excellent, One night my grandson got sick and they come over to help us with some extra towels and whatever we need. I like that!! Breakfast was included and it was delicious. We had a good time!

Top-notch love listening to the birds in the morni

My daughter and I stayed one night here and we wish we could stay longer. It is by far one of the best places I have ever stayed and I travel a lot. Extremely friendly extremely clean little cabins. We are up in the mountains looking at the fog roll in and out at the coffee, plantation, etc. The dinner with the fresh local trout was so stunning, I hope to come back. Thank you very much.

The food and wait staff were excellent.The scenic presentation was over the top.
The lack of hot water, near nonexistent wifi in the habitation rooms # 8 specifically and non functional tv was disappointing.
Sure you don’t go to a place like that for internet access but it is well noted in other reviews.
There are Hummingbird feeders only in one locked area. ( rum tour) There are a lot of species to be viewed but not available for guests at the facilities.
Still despite these things it’s well worth a visit and stay.

This review is to help possible visitors. Tree Trek is high and it gets cold. The units do not have heat. We came to Panama to get away from the cold so this was not for us. The internet did not work in our unit. It would connect and work for a few minutes and then lose signal. We did the zipline and the bridges and enjoyed the experience but recommend saying down closer to town and coming up for the adventure.
Did not have hot water either.
We had 3 days reservation and changed to one day after we experienced the no heat or internet. They refunded the 2 nights we did not stay.
I felt they were honorable but just not what we needed.

The property is in a breathtaking environment. It’s a little far out of town so if you don’t have a car you are kind of stuck there. There is not much to do for guests if you don’t buy into their tours. It would have been nice to also get more info about the property when arriving and have guests use the trails while staying there, breakfast is ok at best. Great central lodge area.

Great mountain view, away from everything

If you're looking to get away from everything, you might enjoy this retreat, however aside from your room and the restaurant, there is really nothing else you can do on your own. There are daily organized tours of their coffee/tea plantation, hanging bridges, and zip line canopy tour. All, of course, with an additional cost. The hotel does offer transportation from the town, but the last one returns at 3pm. Taking a taxi after this time can be difficult and expensive. If you have your own vehicle it wouldn't be so bad.
If you are looking to explore Boquete and the wide range of activities and tours offered (And you don't have a vehicle), I would recommend staying closer to town.

Terrible road access. Staff is slow to see or fix any problem. While dining, had to ask for coffee three times. Had to get up and get my own silverware to eat breakfast. Room had terrible lighting. Tried to play cards and had to open the bathroom door to get enough light to see by. Bad experience, won't go back.

The Boquete Mountain Resort was amazing. It is located on top of a mountain, so the drive to the top is rough. However, it is well worth it! It is quiet and tranquil and very comfortable. The staff is very nice and the food at the restaurant is well priced and very tasty. There are activities to do on the premises which are offered at a discount to hotel guests. There is free WiFi at the hotel, however it was not possible to access it from the rooms. On a better note, there are trails to walk through and lots of vegetation to learn about!

We were surprised to find that this hotel was 7-8 hard kilometers from Boquete; the final 4 up a steep stony one lane back road. The service was unfriendly and no one was available to help with a middle of the night emergency. Internet service was non-existent much of the time and no cell coverage. The surroundings are quite beautiful.

Was a great experience overall, but a little far from Boquete. This made arranging early morning transportation difficult since the roads to the resort are difficult for smaller cars. The rooms were nice, but the walls were very thin—we could clearly hear most of the talking in other rooms and outside. Great experience overall!

Beautiful spot to see cloud forest

The hotel is very simple, but charming. Rooms are very clean and very comfortable. There is quite a bit of noise from adjacent rooms, so if you are a light sleeper, you may want to request a cabin. Also, I would suggest requesting a room facing the view. Our rooms (#1-5), faced the parking lot -- which had the amount of ambience you might expect. The rooms facing the valley and forest, have much more spectacular views. Not sure if those cost more. Also, definitely do some walking on the property. Lots of birds and bromeliads. Sadly, hotel staff seemed to know very little about the local wildlife and were not exactly overly eager to help. They were never rude or unkind, but not as friendly as at other places we stayed in Panama. You won't be able to leave for dinners, so know that in advance.

We enjoyed our stay at Tree Trek, had a large group of 4 families and all felt the stay was pure luxury (particularly the plumbing situation which was vastly improved over where we had previously stayed in Panama). The cabins are cozy and clean, the food was excellent and the view can't be beat! A number of our group participated in the zip-lining and said it was the best they had done anywhere. Would definitely recommend this resort and would stay there again!

Beautiful, literally it's in the mountains so it's very quiet only nature sounds. 15-20 minutes away from the center. The room we stayed was a duplex very cute. Big double shower amazing! Wifi works perfectly.
Remember to book your zip line tour in advance because it's sold out quickly.
They had a tasty breakfast but the open very late (8am) most activities start earlier.
Keep in mind it's not a paved road to get there, long dirt road with steep parts.
Definitely will come back

I liked everything about this hotel.

But please note that the hotel provides shuttles to and from the town ... The last one leaves town a bit early (3 pm) so if you plan to check the town at night you either need to have your own car or have a taxi that's willing to take you all the way up; since there are about 4 kilometers of dirt road in very poor conditions.

On Top of the World!

Absolutely gorgeous location high above Boquete. The 4km gravel road is narrow and bumpy. Strongly suggest a four-wheel drive vehicle. We did it in a small sedan. It was difficult, but we made it, and it was well worth it. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food. Beautiful surroundings. We will stay here again!!!!!!

The tree trek is a beautiful hotel! Its maybe 10 minutes from the center square of Boquete in the heart of the mountains. The staff was amazing, the room beautiful, the food phenomenal, and the sight a must see. The staff made us a lunch thr night before as we were leaving at 4 am to go on a jeep tour to volcano baru and would miss the continental breakfast. Having done ziplining in Costa Rica, I would still definitely recommend the zip lining - its only 55$ for guests and quite the view and action on line 10. Strap a camera to you for video footage if you can ;) This hotel is highly recommended and a great price for the high quality you receive!!

We had some problems with the rooms/cabin arrangements as presented by hotel.com. However the hotel resolved everything to our satisfaction. The location is beautiful and quiet and convenient if you want to do the ziplines. Otherwise it is 7km from Boquete on a bad road. The staff was helpful and friendly.
