Overall enjoyable stay. Only 2 sit down restaurants and they require you make reservations in person at 9 am. Mexican restaurant was excellent but outside Italian restaurant was terrible. First you wait 10 minutes while they seat ? Owners Food was terribke( undercooked risotto and overcooked fish). Buffet was ok but offer ran out of specialty items by 7:30. Bar tenders pleasant and bar service was good. Enjoyed skier but some nights can’t even order off menu. Strict one towel rule and rocky beach but chairs and umbrellas were nice

A lady slipped and dislocated her knee on our last day by a bar pool. It seems like it’s a known problem, because they have wet floor signs EVERYWHERE in that area. Otherwise than that the waiters in the pool and the beach area are amazing. Loved how they treated me and my family. Restaurants that require reservations serve some food that wasn’t up to my expectations. Was better off having the buffet.

The staff throughout the hotel were attentive, friendly, and consistently polite, which made our stay very enjoyable. The buffet offered a wide variety of flavorful options, and the rooms were exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well maintained.

The hotel is in a great location. If you’re planning to visit the Malecón, it’s about a 15-minute walk, and we felt safe walking there during our stay.

In addition to the buffet, the hotel has two restaurants that require dinner reservations. We tried Corazón Contento, the Mexican restaurant. The food was decent, but it wasn’t particularly memorable, so I don’t think you’d be missing out if you decided to skip it. There’s also an Italian restaurant on the property, although we didn’t have the chance to try it.

Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would definitely consider returning.

Family-friendly. My preschool daughter enjoyed their drop-in center. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Great customer service. Rooms were clean. Thank to staff for ungrading us after some miscommunication with our booking. The view from our room was very nice. The only thing is that you can't control the AC. The thermostat doesn't let you change the temp in the room so it can get warm at night in the room.

The hotel appears to be understaffed and unprepared for the number of guests it accommodates. The dining area is too small for the volume of people staying there, resulting in extremely long lines. We had to wait nearly two hours just to be seated at the buffet.

Customer service was also disappointing. Staff members were often rude and seemed bothered when guests asked for assistance, making it difficult to get help when needed.

The room conditions were uncomfortable as well. The air conditioning did not work properly, and the room temperature never dropped below 77°F, making it hard to relax or sleep comfortably.

Front staff was really helpful with checking us in. Kudos to Justin, very cheerful attitude and smoothed out some kinks in our check-in with some of the staff. He's really good at his job. Food was delicious and varied. Servers were really attentive and quick. My daughter really enjoyed their drop-in activities for kids. The staff there was really nice too. It was my parents and brother's first time in mexico and we got a real treat on their mexican themed night with their 2-hour show showcasing the beautiful mexican culture. The rooms were clean. The only thing was the AC, you can't control it to be cooler. It was centrally controlled and on our first day coming from Canada 24.5 C was too warm inside the room.

Most of the staff is friendly but the hotel is really small and extremely crowded. We traveled in a group of 7 and it took us 3 elevator rides each way to get to our room or down to the lobby. There is only ONE TINY elevator. The all inclusive amenities are not worth it there isn’t much to choose from. It’s the same food every day just plated different. The room service is part of the all inclusive but they charge you a “service fee” every time you order anything and there is a limit to what you can order. I do not recommend for anyone visiting for the first time. It would definitely leave a bad taste in your mouth and you probably wouldn’t never consider visiting PV again.

We've visited this property seven times in the last six years. What can I say we like it and the staff make the stay enjoyable. Nolberto bell boy, Gloria breakfast assistant, Dalia egg station, Louisa housekeeper, Jorge pool bartender, Fausto, Raman all have such great personalities and that is why we return year after year. Great distance to local shops and dining options.
This is a family friendly hotel, I enjoy hearing the kids play. My only complaint is the kids kept throwing food in the pool and doing cannonballs and that is not allowed. That went on for a few days and pool security showed up and finally did something about it. Even with that small annoyance our stay was great.

We just stayed there for quick getaway. The rooms were very clean everything was clean from restrooms to bedding . The staff is very nice and friendly also very attentive! Their buffet was the only place we ate at and was never a disappointment! Worth every penny spent ! The beach was very beautiful it does have a bunch of rocks but we still made the best of it!

The hotel location is excellent. It is very close from "El Malecon". The beach is rocky, it is safe to wear water shoes. The food was decent. The issue about the food was that the same food (dishes) from breakfast were offered for dinner. The check in and check out was excellent.

Everything was on the cheap, poor quality alcohol, terrible coffee. Not able to get change at the front desk. It took one hour to get a hamburger and it was child size in a regular size bun. Draft beer only around the pool. The Mattress and Boxspring was disgusting. We stayed only one night - that is how bad this place was.

We really enjoyed the Mexican Fiesta on Friday evening. We enjoyed the food, at both the buffet and the restaurant. The staff was friendly.

The pools were always packed, and sometimes it was hard to get service at the pools. One thing we would like to see improved are the drinks. Some beer options other than Modelo and Corona Light would be nice. Maybe an IPA or some craft beers. The Tequila was not good quality; thus, many of the drinks were not very good.

But all in all, we had a great time.

We loved our second stay at BV Grand. The staff is great and Sunset restaurant is our favourite for the food and also the majestic sunset view. Rooms were very clean and the service was efficient everyday.
We missed having a bit more protein options at the Buffet restaurant.
Jorge our pool server is the best and always makes our stay so pleasant .
We loved the Mexican night . It was the highlight of our stay . The Tradicional Mexican shows were the best.

Point to improve: the bike service. Bikes need some maintenance or replacement.

La atención fue muy buena, tanto en restaurantes como en zonas comunes. Recomiendo mucho el restaurante sunset para desayunos y cena. El bufet es amplio y variado. La ubicación es muy buena, muy cerca caminando del malecón y cuenta zon farmacias y tiendas muy cerca.

considero que debe mejorar el servicio en la playa, los meseros comienzan muy tarde a atender, y el bar de la piscina de adultos, también abre tarde.

El restaurante Corazón Contento no me sorprendió, me pareció bastante estándar.

En general me pareció un buen hotel, con buenas instalaciones y muy generosos en todo sentido con el todo incluido. Como sugerencia, solo dejaría una de las dos piscinas grandes, como solo para adultos.

Is an OK room, bathroom too small, AC did not do it’s job, pillows and bed very hard. Says all inclusive but if you want room service, you still have to pay delivery free every time and you only get two bottles of water per day ONLY and take forever to take it to you. You and my husband are beer drinkers do not have a wide selection keg beer pulls our not as big and only can choose from two poles. Only good at this hotel was the food very tasty and delicious. Overall, I rate this hotel a 5/10

My boyfriend chose this as our first resort, and after reading some of the other reviews, I was honestly a bit confused, because our experience was completely different—in a good way.
From the moment we arrived, everything was wonderful. We are Mexican, and the staff treated us with kindness and respect throughout our entire stay. I had read a review from someone who said they were treated poorly, but that was not our experience at all.
This is one of the most relaxing resorts I’ve been to. There are so many activities to enjoy, so you can stay entertained or just unwind, depending on what you’re looking for.
Our room was cleaned every day, and we always had fresh towels, which made a big difference in our comfort. I also really liked the variety of food—there were different options every day, and having two restaurants was great. On top of that, there’s a gym and even a daycare, which makes it a great option for all kinds of travelers.
Overall, we had a great experience and couldn’t find anything negative to say. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

The Property is nice but it was a huge disappointment in many ways. Kids and adult going up the halls all hours of night huge echos! We sleep with a noise machine and still couldn’t drown it out. The lobby goes with loud music till 10! We were put in a room with a slider to a balcony with weeds. They say it is all inclusive but if you want more than the two bottles of water they give you it’s a charge!

Resort is too small for adult only reservations for booking a family dinner.
Buffet could use more food dishes as the options were not there.
Entering the pool was difficult to enter (older group). Steps only part way in to the pool then drops off. Ladder on opposite side was the only way you could get into the pool safetly. A lot of elderly people were noticeably struggling to get in and out.

Room and resort was clean and staff was great and friendly.

Came here on the recommendation of a friend as I usually stay in the area but my hotel didn’t have availability for my full trip. Boy am I glad I only stayed here 2 nights. Overall great location and nice smaller property. Rooms were nice and clean and modern but my patio had zero view and at least once while I was in my room maintenance walked through it to water plants. Room was just off the main lobby area and was extremely noisy all hours of the day and night. Despite signs saying silence please I was woken up multiple times during the night from music and absolutely obnoxious people. Bell boys were rude and indifferent, couldn’t seem to care less even when tipping them. Front desk staff was lovely and efficient. Pool waiters were hit and miss. Disappeared for a long time, and then offered people nearby drinks but didn’t come to you, again even when tipping. Often had to go and get my own drink. Chairs at the pool were limited, people occupied chairs but didn’t come back for hours despite hotel saying they remove after 15 minutes, they absolutely did nothing. Went to sit by the beach but then get bothered by the beach vendors and even less frequent service. Bartenders got my drinks wrong at least 3 times, Giving me something I didn’t order. Pool bathrooms were disgusting. Soaking wet, smelly and toilets unflushed. Buffet service was excellent but the food not so much. Lots of repetition and quality below average.
