Lots of small restaurants around the hotel and it’s in walking distance to the train station. I wish the bath and gym opened earlier which made it difficult to enjoy when we had an early morning schedule or just got up early due to jet lag.

The TV has the majority of the hotel description, but for things like dinner recommendations, what to do and see your in your own to figure that out.
They charge to use the pool, pool table, and darts by the hour and our very strict about it. They’d make a lot more money and have gappier customers if they just put a time limit on the pool and darts when the demand for use is high. We were the only ones using it. The unseen is more like a large community pool with a bunch of naked people in it. Very busy and I did not find it relaxing. I doubt they can get around this since it’s such a large hotel. Vending machines and ice are limited to the second floor and we were on the 17th.

My stay at the hotel was truly enjoyable - the staff were warm and attentive, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, providing a perfect space to relax. The breakfast was especially delightful, with a variety of yummy options that made each morning a treat.

I don’t usually leave low score reviews but the stay here was very poor. They “centrally” control the temperature in the rooms and pumped heat into the room all night. When calling the front desk to turn it down or use some AC they said no and to open the window. The hotel is at a major 8 lane intersection and had to open the window and was kept up by loud revving motorcycles and cars all night. Beds are cheap, thin, hard and worn and got really sore. Left feeling horrible to start the day.

Close to rail station. There's no street level crosswalk across Higashi-odori. If you walk up from the rail station, on the southwest side of the street and try to cross at the hotel you have the option to use the over-the-street walkway over the street (which is awkward if you have heavy rolling luggage!) So cross two blocks before the hotel.

Nice hotel to stay in Niigata, great location just couple of minutes walk to Niiagata JR Station and restaurant area. Hotel condition is superb, very grand and welcoming lobby efficient self check in procedure that is comparable with big cruise line. Room size is adequate but packed with features and amenities. Bed and pillows are comfortable, and room is quiet enough for a good night sleep.

Arrived at the hotel with a group of six. My confirmed booking for six individual rooms was not honored. They only gave us five rooms and insisted that a cancellation was made just a few days prior to our check-in date. After over an hour of back-and-forth between the front desk and my Japanese speaking colleague, we managed to pay for a room just ensure that we had accommodations for that . I have no record in my account of this cancellation occurring. I’ve not been refunded for the prepaid room either.

学会でほぼ満室の日に利用。基本的な掃除はしてあったが、デスク上やベッドの枠などにほこりがあったのが気になった。端のほうではなく、デスクの真ん中で毎日物を置きそうなところにほこりがあったので、閑散期などは使わない部屋なのか？と思った。
