Loved this hotel

We decided to walk to the hotel from Niigata Station, not realizing it was about to rain. It was a downpour by the time we got to the lobby, but one of the staff saw us coming and met us with dry towels at the door! It was so thoughtful! And that was just the start of great service. We loved our stay and will definitely come again!

Great customer service. Lovely room but a little small. Too far to walk from station without trashing your suitcase. There are many hotels and restaurants near Niigata train station. I suggest one of them. Nothing near this property.

Spectacular hotel, excellent staff and great stay. Nice large hotel with good sound insulation inside didn’t hear any other rooms or the outside so very good for a sleep. Also the room was large compared to a lot of other hotels. Fast elevators. Everything you need within walking distance.

Hotel was about a 15 minute walk from railway station. Check in was good. We had room 815 it was facing the water. Beds firm and were able to get bigger firmer pillows.
Room size was comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful lots of choices.

The breakfast spread was by far the best I’ve had, it was not only very affordable (¥2400 if you make a reservation one day prior) and the food spread was also very varied. There were 3 types of Niigata rice to choose from, and also some of the best bread I’ve ever had.

The ensuite bathroom was spacious, and the showerhead had good water pressure. The room was also big enough to open 2 medium sized luggages without having to navigate too precariously around. The traditional Shoji in the room also added more character to the room.

Humidifiers and even pillows of different heights were available for rent (ANA Crowne Plaza calls it their sleep advantage), which definitely improved our sleep.

Location of the hotel was also very convenient; 10mins from the train station (flat ground, easy for luggage to be pull across), 5mins from LoveLa Bandai (a mall with all the shops that you need) and multiple bus stops.

Staffs are friendly, but we can hear next room guests talking. Dined at their Japanese restaurant at B1, excellent service and good quality of food. 10 minutes walk to Niigata station, good place to shop around it’s CoCoLo shopping center inside train station.

Top class hotel

Comfortable and quiet hotel with super delicious breakfast. Friendly staffs are well organized always ready to serve the customers. My room was spacious with a beautiful river view. The Hotel was conveniently located with almost everything within the walking distance. I will certainly come back when I revisit Niigata.

Overall not bad. Felt slightly older. Could hear some stomping from room above, but minimal.

Biggest issue that I am docking a star for is ac did not seem to work. Set to 15c cool, but room stayed at a constant 24c which was too hot for me. I reported, but was only offered the suggestion to turn off the ac (this did not work).

Location was fine and short cab ride to different spots if needed.

Staff was overall very pleasant and friendly.

Was a great hotel before the pandemic

I have stayed in this hotel many times in the past before the pandemic. Each times, I have stayed for at least several days at a time and never really had any issues with this hotel. This time, most of the usual employees that worked here are gone and I feel like they are operating with skeleton crew. There was no issue with the service and all, but I felt like this time the room had less amenities than before. It's still a good hotel, but sadly I think their glory was a thing in the past.

Stayed here a couple nights with family. Superior twin rooms were decent size, certainly recommend over standard twin. Our rate included breakfast which is excellent, can enjoy traditional Japanese or Western breakfast. Lots and lots of choices, including omelet chef. Location is great, as it's close walking distance to the main shopping area (Loft, Isetan), Niigata Station, and the many local restaurants between the station and the hotel. Much better than staying across the river, where that part of the city has lost much of its vibrancy over the years. Service is outstanding. Rooms are a little dated, still using retro center console between the beds for air conditioning and lighting, and it didn't seem like we could change the temperature, just the velocity. Still a good choice though.

Hotel staff was always very friendly and cordial. The hotel has a good ambience and the room was spacious and clean. The one negative was the archaic counsel and room lighting and ventilation controls adjacent to the bed. However, the hotel is convenient to the JR Niigata Station so getting around was relatively easy.

Hotel is located a short distance from the train station. Taxi fare around 700 Yen. Also, it is a short walk to the convention center. The staff was very helpful and efficient. With out me asking, they offered the use of an umbrella because they knew it would snow that evening.
The room I had was older with a leaking hot water faucet. Also disappointing was no controls for the room AC temperature.

This hotel has updated rooms with nice amenities. However, there is a smell of smoke in the lobby, hallways, and inside the rooms (even on the non-smoking floor). The air purifier helped somewhat but not enough. The rooms are small and the staff do have difficulty speaking English.

Good location but very small room.

The room was small as some other Japanese hotels here, but it is clean and close to the train station, in case you are looking for food, would be easier for you. But some of the staff were quite cold, sometimes I didn't feel that they were willing to help when we was asking questions. That didn't meet my expectation of Japanese service. Might not be staying at this hotel when we are back to Niigata.

Ran out of double beds, had to sleep in two twin beds. 1st room was very stuffy, needed to change rooms. Service was average, no one went out of their way to help us, but just showed us brochures, asked us to make our own reservations. Beds were comfortable, slept well. But overall, slightly disappointed.

朝からスノーボードで遊び、新潟駅で酩酊しながら夜12時手前にチェックイン。遅い時間にも拘らず、カウンターにはスタッフが2名。スムーズな手捌きでチェックイン対応を行い、ストレスなく部屋に入ることができた。疲労のせいか気づいたら朝を迎え、気づけばビュッフェ終了の1時間前。大慌て着替え、向かった先にはご馳走の山。我々の翌日からビュッフェがリニューアルされると事前に知っていたため、気持ちは斜め下といったところであったが、その不安を吹き飛ばすほどのご馳走の山が広がっていた。3種の白米は言うまでもなく、カレーや洋食まで幅広いラインナップ。特に、出来立てのフレンチトーストは我々の舌を唸らせた、何より料理にチャレンジしていた学生時代を回顧した。
部屋に戻り、昨日の疲労もあってかレイトチェックアウトを打診。快く引き受けてくださり、東京の最低賃金よりもはるかに低い1000円で1時間の幸福タイムを手に入れることができた。
さてそろそろ出発という時に、机上のランプに目を奪われた。スタイリッシュなシルバーのランプはまるで、我々を照らす太陽のように輝いていた。また、このランプに気づくことができないほどまでに我々を追い込んだ、スノーボードの恐ろしさを知った瞬間でもあった。友人がスマホで調べると、Artemideかというイタリア発の世界を代表する照明ブランドが作ったものであり、その価格は実に約9万円。細部までこだわり抜いたこのホテルが齎す最高のホスピタリティが、最後このような形で現れるとは思ってもいなかった。
以上を踏まえ、総合評価は⭐︎5を付けさせていただく。
5以上の評価をつけれない程に素晴らしく、欠点がない点がこのホテルの唯一の欠点なのかもしれない。
