Cute room. Good beds. The whole place needs a maintenance crew - bulb burnt out, bathroom door not installed correctly, would not close. Carport next to room was very convenient. Cheap hotel. get what you pay for! But all in all everyone happy including both chihuahuas!

Air conditioner/heater was so noisy it was hard to sleep. Parking was fine. Someone in the room right next to us got in at 12:30 am and was slamming doors and making a lot of racket until 2:00 am. Needless to say, between the heater and neighbor we didn’t get much sleep.

The room was large and clean. It had the amenities (hair dryer, coffee maker, tissues at the vanity) that some hotel chains skimp on these days. The bed was comfortable (mattress supportive but not too firm), the heater worked well and the room was quiet. Good value for the money, I would stay again.

Very old property with concrete or concrete block walls. It was cold in Yreka, around 24 F. overnight which meant the electric heater was cycling on and off all night and is quite loud! The bed was great. The property seems to have a long stay customer with a big noisy pick-up truck that he was working on late at night. Never again!

When I checked in the small office one small corner held the breakfast nook. This is where you would get milk and cereal, and coffee and take it back to your room. Nowhere to sit in the building. Walked into our room and it was freezing, not even 60*. The room had a bad mold smell. The heater had sticky grime on it and blew dust out the vent. The chairs were grossly dirty and stained. The bathroom shower and the floor around the toilet had black mold. I have pictures of these areas. I was sickened by this unhealthy and disgusting room. I left and went to another hotel. I’m furious being that it is not refundable. If I could put zero stars I would. The county’s health board should close them down.

So cheap for how nice of a place it is. High ceilings and the toilet was sealed with the paper strip, so I know it was clean. Lol. It’s the little things. Pool is beautiful and the people that run it are fantastic. I’ve stayed in way too many hotels over my life time, even lived in some so I know what I’m talking about. You’ll love this place. Highly recommended!

This is a great budget place to take a rest after a long drive. Not fancy but have all essentials you need. The front desk staff is nice; the room is clean and spacious; plenty parking spaces, breakfast is simple but good enough for us to grab a piece of fruit, a piece of pastry and a cup of coffee before hitting on the road again. BTW, the room does have a microwave oven and fridge.

I was expecting far worse, as I really only needed a bed and shower for the night, and picked the cheapest rate. This was actually a really nice gem! Clean and very well marked parking lot. This is a classic example of a "Motor Lodge" from the 1950s. But the current owners have done a great job of keeping it fresh and kind of fun. I wouldnt say it is updated but rather well preserved. I felt the place was well suited to the rather retro feel of the town of Yreka. I liked it, especially for the price

I liked the ambiance at some level, like it had a 50's motel one-story vibe...but the place was in need of a lot of work. and it was haphazardly brought up to occupancy standards. There's a homeless camp next to it with barking dogs, bbq smoke, and loud music. The continental breakfast is really just a fantasy. Also, they "welcome" dogs and cats but charge you to have them...which is fine if it was knowledge at the time of the on-line reservation. Also, got a weird vibe from the proprietors.

This is a good choice for an inexpensive stay, but don't expect a fine hotel. It's an older facility, so expect quirks. My room had unpainted spots and a nonworking outlet. I feel it was a good value though. The manager was a nice fellow.

Good night sleep before we hit the road to the next destination . I have been staying in hotels since August 2024 due to wildfires and this one is the most favorite friendly and will definitely stay here when on our way to and from California this will be a permanent resting stop on our route .. thank you so much for the pleasant stay in yrek at the relax Inn

We were driving down I-5 and needed an inexpensive place to stay. I made sure that we could check in late (the site said we could check in until 3 am, we arrived before 11 pm), but it seemed like we woke up the front desk person. The place is a little run down and could use a remake, as it seemed like it stayed as-is since the '70s. There was also a lingering scent of cigarettes that kept me awake. The "continental breakfast" consisted of coffee, juice, some pre-packaged danishes and tiny muffins, and a couple of different cereals. We ended up getting breakfast from Starbucks down the street. Overall, it was ok for a night en route.

It was Yreka CA. I needed a cheap place for a couple of nights. Says free breakfast. Cereal. and pastry.

It was winter. The room was so cold I had the heater up to 85 most of the time. The bathroom was so cold I could not take a shower.

The plug on the wall and the lamps were so old that my cell phone charge would not stay connected, even when I bent the plug prongs out.

The door was dragging on the carpet and hard to enter.

The wall AC/Heatrer filter was very dirty and I had to wash it off in the tub. That was the only reason I used the the tub/shower.

I definety should have paid a few dollars more to get a better place.

Of the few working electrical outlets, all were unsafe. Plugs were loose in all of them making them a fire hazard. Deadbolt would not engage. Heater loud onand off all night kept us awake. Wifi worked. Breakfast non-existent. Didn't even see any coffee. Will stay somewhere else on the way home. Sorry. I don't usually badmouth motels but this one is bad.

This is an inexpensive motel, not fancy, but I’ve stayed here before with biker friends. There is a pool out front, king bed, clean and has a garage beside the room! Talked to a housekeeper about safety for bikes. She said it’s been a long time since they had any incidents… and pointed at all the live feed cameras around the place. Has coffee and lite breakfast items in the lobby too.

It was 97 degrees outside when I arrived around 5 pm and the AC in the room was off. I turned the AC on and went to dinner. By the time I returned, the room temp was down to mid 70s, but it didn't really cool off until some time after I went to bed. The AC was also very noisy even with the fan on low.

The included breakfast was minimal.

Inexpensive pet friendly hotel. A little deep cleaning would go a long way. Bathroom door was filthy. Staff was friendly. Dead bolt did not work when we arrived. It was fixed the first night. I have never seen a light switch so close to the shower. Did not use the shower because it did not appear safe with the light switch about 4 inches outside the shower curtain.

Edges of carpet were dirty, bedspread was dirty with others’ hair on it. Threshold of doorway needed better repair. Door lock and card was difficult to get to work. Toilet very low. Poor lighting. One lamp could not be plugged. Insufficient light anywhere to read by.

Beware!! This place in disgusting!!

Hard time getting key card to work. Looked like the”breakfast” area was not really breakfast. More like fruit, granola bars and coffee.
The door handle coming loose from the door. The room was filthy. I did not bring my items in. Because of the bugs nests. The mirror was broken. A piece of wood on toilet to keep bathroom window locked. The dirt, dust, veromon sign was on everything including the drawers, refrigerator and microwave. The bedding looked like it had been on the dirty floor.

I didn’t stay over night. I was refunded my second night. But because I checked in - I was out my first night.
I’m waiting for my statement because I think the property recharged my card after agreeing with hotels.com to refund.
The room looked nothing like the pictures. Don’t rent at this place. Unless you want to take little crawling stow always home with you.

Beds firm but comfortable. I was provided with soap and shampoo for two people, even though there is three in my reservation. Room is pretty dated. Bathroom is tiny. Bathroom door does not latch closed; must use sliding bar lock to keep it shut. No noise from neighbors because we didn’t have any neighbors on either side. Wall mounted A/C worked well.

So we arrived at 1am, the lady who helped us was tired but pleasant. The room (107 for anyone who gets it after us) we got had a bunch of issues. 1. The door didn’t close fully, at one point my partner stepped outside and didn’t bring the key, he was able to just push the door open. 2. The sheets were not fully clean. 3. The bathroom layout/door was awful. 4. The ac was the loudest thing I think I have ever heard. 5. The bed was uncomfortable and hard as a rock. 6. Lastly the tv was extremely outdated. If it had just been one or two of these things I wouldn’t have such an issue, but we were traveling with two dogs and our only way of guaranteeing the door stay closed was with the latch thing, the deadbolt wouldn’t even lock. I would have talked to the front desk if we had arrived earlier in the day, but we were exhausted and needed sleep. I would not stay here again, and don’t recommend. If you do stay try to get a room other than 107.

First of all, this property met my primary criteria; clean, comfortable, and quiet, particularly the latter. We had a very pleasant stay there, and would stay there again. My biggest complaint, and it's a pretty minor one, is that it would have been nice for the pool to be open. Maybe it was too early in the season.
