This stay was extremely disappointing for me. First of all, the water pressure was very low, making it difficult to even take a proper shower. In addition, the ventilation was poor, the room did not get enough fresh air, and this significantly affected my comfort.

Cleanliness was also below my expectations. When I entered the room, I got the clear impression that it had not been cleaned properly, which made it hard to feel comfortable during my stay.

I have stayed in many different places before, but based on my personal experience, this was one of the worst places I have stayed. Unfortunately, I would not choose to stay here again and cannot recommend it to others with similar expectations.

Very spacious and clean room. The location is so central that you just need to go downstairs for endless restaurants, bars, shops. Very friendly staff. Don't forget to give a try to their restaurant, delicious. Highly recommended

Staff are extremely helpful and pleasant. Always a smile. We stayed here twice. We had other options but chose Kuzen Otel. Good location, near metro and ferry. Our only complaint was the stairs. Staff offered to handle our luggage.

April 2025. Staff was nice and let us check in early. Room was clean and okay BUT they were doing a bunch of construction in the building. We had to step over building materials to get to the reception desk and to our room. The room smelled like solvent and the fan/air conditioning unit didn’t work and their was it a window that opened. The bedside lights also did not work .it was crazy noisy I.e. jackhammer, metal cutting blade, hammering going on literally right outside our door and window. We were there just for one night and I wouldn’t have cared much if the room cost $40 but it was $70. We stayed in really nice places in Istanbul for the same price. Definitely do not recommend.

It was an okay hotel, not great, not terrible. There is free breakfast but the quality isn't great, but can't complain since it's free. The safe in our room was shut and no one knew the code to open it so we couldn't use it. Also our room key card was able to open someone else's room (we went to the wrong room on accident) and we walked in on some guy sleeping, it was weird. Then the next morning our key card stopped working and couldn't even open our own room. Really strange. We only stayed 2 nights and the cleaning personnel did not come, however the room was very clean to begin with. Overall not a bad hotel but could be better.

Lovely , cozy and pleasant

Lovely place, clean rooms and helpful staff. Not fit for disabled or wheelchair bound guests as there are no lifts. The hotel is bang smack in the middle of Kadaköy, but you couldn't hear any noise from our room on the top floor. A delicious plate of börek,egg, cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, bread, honey and jam was served for breakfast every day.

Great location for local experience

Fantastic location in the heart of the laneeays of Kadikoy. A close walk to the ferries. Above a bar and restaurant which at first we thought might be noisy, but wasnt at all. Service was really friendly, bed comfortable, room warm (we were there in winter) and clean. We were really happy with our stay and would return.

Rebooked this hotel as i stayed last year and the location, staff, comfort and condition of hotel were good. This year however it seems that some of these things have been neglected. In just a year the stairway carpet and decor, and even in the rooms is very shabby. Signs the hotel is well used but not as well maintained as it should be. I had to ask to be given a different room because of the condition of the first room, which was such a disappointment compared to my delight last year. I was taken to where I stayed last year which was better but even that was in a poorer condition. Bed was still as comfortable as ever though. I would love to stay again but would only do so if i heard they had done something to improve the condition of the hotel. Staff great! Location great. But if the lack of maintenance is due to owner not paying for enough staff to run the place he is his own worst enemy. I would have recommended this place before but not now unless he opened his wallet and fixed the place up a bit and employed a couple more housekeepers. That's all it needs. Nothing major at all.

I would book again

Very pleasant short stay at Kuzen hotel. Check in was quick and easy and baggage was kindly carried to my room.. bonus points for that!! Hotel is a fairly short distance from the bus station and ferry port where there are regular boats to cross over to European side of Istanbul. Room was very clean and I would have brought the bed home with me if I could have. Plenty of hot water and nice toiletries. I had to leave early before breakfast time but staff kindly prepared something for me to eat. A suggestion for improvement is perhaps hotel signage could be a bit more visible from the outside as not easy to notice on a street full of all kinds of activity and hustle and bustle. I walked past it several times and thought it was a restaurant. Overall a very comfortable and pleasant stay. Just wish I'd had longer!!

Recommend. A hotel with cozy atmosphere

Good:
Very kind English speaking staffs, nicely furnished clean room with well-functioning AC and Wi-fi connection, small but good enough single bed, poshly designed shower room with a functioning shower head, quality of breakfast, reasonable price.

Note:
- Room cleaning is done only once, before using the room (the hotel left enough number of bath towel, thus, didn't face any trouble.)
- Breakfast time is limited, between 9 and 11.00. Hotel staff serves the dishes for each guest (i.e. not the buffet style) thus, it takes time for them to prepare the breakfast.

Oda temiz ve genişti. Çalışanlar da oldukça güler yüzlü ve ilgili. Tek negatif yanı aslında pozitif yanı da olan merkezi konumundan dolayı gürültülü bir sokakta bulunması. Pencereler yalıtımlı ama sese hassas kişiler için sıkıntı olabilir. Otelin restoran ve pub bölümü de var. Pub’ı kullandık ve beğendik. Mükemmele yakın bir fiyat perf konaklamaydı.

とても賑やかなバーが沢山ある通りにあるホテルです。夜中まで遊びたい人には最適ですが、静かに過ごしたい人には向かないかもしれません。部屋はコンパクトですが一人旅には丁度いいサイズでした。部屋の電球が半分ぐらい切れていましたが、寝るだけでしたので私には問題ありませんでした。周辺は素敵なレストランや海岸、可愛い猫達がたくさんで素晴らしいです。おすすめの宿です。

Hotel is located in a very crowded area with many pubs, restaurants and cafés. Not suitable for people, who are very sensitive to sound.

We were staying on the second floor, while renovations were on the first and second floor. Which meant it was a bit messy and noisy at times.

Building and room were rather old. Room a bit too tiny for 2 people, but we had a small balcony and overall the room was clean and very tidy.

You can ask for the room to be cleaned anytime and bed sheets to be changed. Staff was very friendly. Overall the price was very cheap, so I'd recommend for shor

We stayed here for 3 nights. The location is perfect if you wan't to go out for food and drinks, loads of options nearby. The room was nice and clean and even though it's in the middle of loads of bars and restaurants we didnt hear any noise from the streets.
The only thing is that the reception isnt great at english and could be a bit more friendly

Fiyat/Karşılığı oranı iyi. Odanın kullanışlığı, banyonun durumu ve yatak konforu güzel. Terlikler biraz daha kaliteli olabilirdi. Otelin konumu ulaşıma ve alışveriş yerlerine çok uygun. Çevre de yeme içme çeşitliliği çok yüksek. Şöyle bir durumla karşılaştım. Rezervasyon yaptırırken kahvaltı seçeceğini seçmeyi atlamışım. Görevli arkadaşa sabah kahvaltıyı sorduğum da bana iletti. Siz sadece oda almışsınız dedi ve başından savdı gibi oldu. Buyrun ben yardımcı olayım diye bilirdi.

Tek kişilik odada kaldım. Oda 18 metrekare değil 9 metrekareydi. Dışarıya bakan bir pencere yoktu. Yatak dengesiz ve eğriydi. Her saat başı sigara kokusu her yerde. Resepsiyondaki Erdam isimli genç çok kibar ve yardımseverdi. Otelin konumu çok çok mükemmel.

-Görsellerde anlatıldığı gibi bakımlı bir otel değil.
-Banyosu köhneydi ve sıcak su gelmiyordu.
-Penceresiz odanın havalandırması yeterli değildi.
-Çevrede otopark yeri bulmak kolay değil.
-Otelin alt kısmı restaurant olması sebebiyle gürültü yoğunluğu mevcuttu.
-Otel daha önce bir rezervasyonumu otele giriş günü arayarak iptal etmiş ve yerine bir opsiyon sunmayarak oldukça güç bir durum yaratmıştı.

Yine olsa yine kalırım f/p oteli

Konaklamamızda güney otelleri gibi bir beklentimiz yoktu, otelden beklentimiz hijyen ve konumdu. Konum olarak mükemmel diyebileceğimiz bir yerde, hijyen olarak gayet güzeldi. Resepsiyonda bulunan görevli hanımefendi çok ilgili ve güleryüzlüydü. Klimanın sıcak kısmı çalışmıyordu ancak hava çok soğuk olmadığından bu sorun olmadı ve oda değiştirme talebimiz olmadı. Geceleri haftasonu olması ve konum itibariyle ses vardı ama bizi rahatsız etmedi ninni gibi geldi. Sonuç olarak tekrar istanbula gidersem tekrar konaklamak isteyeceğimiz bir yerdi.

Odamda pencere olmamasından ve odanın küçük olmasından dolayı, klimayı açtığımda çok soğuk, klimayı kapattığımda ise çok sıcak oldu. klimayı kapatarak yattığımda, sabah 7-8 gibi sıcaktan ter içinde uyandım ayrıca, odamda bulunan çalışma masası ve sandalye arasında büyük fark vardı, bilgisayarımda çalışırken bilek ve kollarımda ağrı yaptı. Bunların dışında lokasyon olarak, yatağın rahatlığı olarak, temizlik olarak çok başarılıydı.
