The room vas very clean, the staff was very kind, helpful and very knowledgeable about the area. The location of the hotel was a stones throw away from the Colosseum. The Pantheon was a bout a 30 minute walk from the hotel. The Metro station was across from the Colosseum. Places to eat and drink were in no shortage in the area.

The property is ok, the location is good because it’s the Coliseum but there are no phones in the room, you have to leave the keys at the desk and every time you go out and come in have to leave it and ask for it. There is a cigarette smell even though it is no smoke property.

The location of this property is great, right next to the Colosseum and restaurants. The room and amenities were okay, nothing to brag about. There is no elevator so if you have a lot of bags like we did, its a pain, but the attendant does assist with the bags. The room was kind of small and didn't have any special amenities, just a bed, closet, and TV. Perfect for our purposes of just one day of rest.

The best feature of this place is its proximity to the Colosseum. The worst feature: the stairs. It took 4 flights of stairs to get to the second floor. Not an easy task when you’ve got luggage, but at least the property manager helped us carry it up. The place was clean and quiet, with a nice little balcony. Additionally, it was quite clean. I could tell the maids worked hard. The food in the area was quite touristy, but at least there were plenty of options. A solid 7/10.

The room is okay if you only use it to sleep. It does not have elevator so for people who has a lot of big luggages, it will be a hassle. Amenities are limited to shampoo, facial soap and bath gel. The location is great though as it is walkable to Colosseum and restaurants are just next door. If you are sensitive to noise, this is not for you as the room walls are thin. No iron or perculator in the room or laundry area in the bldg.

The hotel wasnt very welcoming overall so we ended up going to another hotel close by at the end. I do not recommend staying here at all.

The room isnt the largest, but if you are planning to see Rome and not hang out in your room all day then this is the place. The service was amazing, especially Ana Marie. We had luggage issues upon arrival and she couldnt have been more appreciative of the help her and the others at the front desk gave us. They are very knowledgeable of the city and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable.

The room did not look anything like the pictures posted, not even close. They did let us check in early and let us store our luggage since we got in so early, so that was really nice. We did not have hot water one night so my daughter took a cold shower. The location was AMAZING and the staff was kind. Just be aware that the rooms are way less updated tab pictured.

The location is fantastic at only 150 meters from the Colosseum, Forum, etc. The room was quite comfortable and had all the amenities. Parking in this area is a challenge to say the least, but with convenient mass transit a vehicle is not required. The staff was absolutely wonderful, most spoke English and were very knowledgeable. I cannot say enough good about these folks.

The location of this property is the highlight. Only three minutes walk to the Colosseum. You can enjoy the view of Colosseum day and night. The room is spacious and clean. No breakfast included, but there are restaurants all around the area.

Location has bars and late night eateries right next door. But they require you leave the key at the front desk every time you step out. So makes it awkward coming back late since you need to ask for your key instead of just being able to walk up to your room like a regular hotel.

The property is literally across the street from the Colosseum. Easy access to the subway. We found it to be easy to walk to most of the tourist destinations within 20 minutes. The staff were nice. Only weird thing is you must drop your keys at the desk when you leave. The positive of that is you never have to worry about losing the room key.

Therefore , if you stay out longer than midnight , you won’t be able to enter the building and there is no one around to help. There is no front reception , they only have a small room at the rear of the building with a person making sure to find ways to make you pay more money on top of what you have already paid to Expedia. I was charged for 3 persons , and when I arrived I was told that I only paid for 2. I showed them my receipt where it clearly said that I paid for 2 adults and a minor, but they looked at my daughter and in a very rude way they told me that she is not child and that I have to pay more. Although I showed them my receipt several times and they actually acknowledged that I was charged for 3 persons , they didn’t care and I had to pay additional money.
Once in the room I received an email from Expedia asking to review my experience during checking in, I replied : terrible 😡. The next day one of the guys asked why I gave them that review and told me that they don’t really care about those reviews anyway.

The best thing about this property is the fact of how close it is to coliseum if that is where you want to be. That’s the reason we chose it. The room was good and we had everything we needed. It is a walk up stairs so you should know that. Staff was very friendly

Location right by Colosseum is amazing. Triple room had really nice views, facing a park and overlooking an archeological area. You could see part of Colosseum if you stuck your head out of the window. Only 3 of 5 rooms have views. The cons of room w/views is that it was noisy. Street below is full of late-night bars (open til 2am) and there are several busy roads intersecting outside. The windows are good at keeping noise out, but light sleepers like me may want earplugs.
The triple room was large, clean, and nicely remodeled, but light on amenities: no tea/coffee, no complimentary water, no robes/slippers, and really slow WiFi. There were however plenty of towels, soap, shampoo and even some toothbrushes. There was a tiny safe in the room (not laptop sized) and a mini-fridge. All the rooms are located on 2nd floor and there is no elevator. Dragging heavy luggage up the steep, narrow stairs is painful. 24h front desk is very helpful for late flight arrival. We did receive a confusing message saying there was no 24h reception and late check-in would incur additional cost; neither turned out to be true. Ring Imperial Rooms if front door is closed.
The biggest issue we had was a really bad sewage smell in the bathroom. Thankfully it stayed in bathroom so bedroom ok. We mentioned it on 1st morning and upon return everything smelled fine. Unfortunately, by next morning the smell was back. Hopefully it is something they can fix. Other guests weren’t having issues.

All the rooms are located on 2nd floor and there is no elevator. Dragging heavy luggage up the steep, narrow stairs is painful. 24h front desk is very helpful for late flight arrival. We did receive a confusing message saying there was no 24h reception and late check-in would incur additional cost; neither turned out to be true. Ring Imperial Rooms if front door is closed.
The biggest issue we had was a really bad sewage smell in the bathroom. Thankfully it stayed in bathroom so bedroom ok. We mentioned it on 1st morning and upon return everything smelled fine. Unfortunately, by next morning the smell was back. Hopefully it is something they can fix. Other guests weren’t having issues.

Small mom & pop hotel run by Antonio, who was warm and welcoming everyday. Having the colosseum as a landmark gave us the freedom to roam/Rome around (😉) by foot without ever feeling the need to look up google maps. Location was excellent and accessible by taxi/bus/train. One thing I would recommend is not to bring too much luggage since there’s no elevator and the reception is on the second floor so you would have to carry all your luggage up and down. Customer service has exceeded my expectations. They have been in contact way before we checked in via whatsapp which made communicating with them so much easier. The shower was a bit tight and all drinks in the fridge are for an extra charge but other than that our stay was excellent! Rooms are very clean. Hotel itself is in an excellent location but pretty quiet as long as the windows are closed. Overall great hotel!

The only thing that was really rough is, that we had a lot of luggage and, no elevator. We had to carry all of our luggage up four flights of stairs. The staff did bring our luggage down when we left. We were Thankful for that....

The location was great and the room itself was very nice. For us though, the lack of an elevator was more of a problem than we initially thought. We knew there was no elevator and that our room was on the \"second\" floor. However, you do need to go up a short flight of stairs to get to the \"ground\" floor, then go up one flight to the \"first\" floor, and finally another flight to get to the \"second\" floor. This is not too unusual in Europe but after going on excursions for the past 3 weeks and walking 15K steps many days in a row, these steps were exhausting, to say the least. The hotel manager was very nice in helping carry the luggage and with the exception of the lack of elevator, I would have rated this hotel top notch. We are in our 70's so, these comments are for those that don't do stairs well (after a full day of walking).

Beautifully updated hotel room in a prime location. I was able to walk across the street to the colosseum. Wonderful restaurants and a 24 hour convenience store right around the corner. The owner and his daughter are very friendly and are very willing to give you recommendations and even directions to restaurants. They even went out of their way to contact the taxi company for me when I accidentally left my back pack in the back seat. I will definitely stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful stay in Rome :)
