We appreciated the vicinity to the colliseum as that was our focus for a tour before heading on our cruise. There were lots of dining options in the area and everything was within walking distance. It was quiet and comfortable and AC worked great. Our only complaint is that the elevator was broken on the second day (old cable type one, unique) when checking out but they assisted with luggage. A person should be prepared to walk quite a few stairs in case the elevator isn't working.

We had a brilliant one-night stay at this hotel, with an unbeatable location directly opposite the Colosseum! Our family of four found the room to be generously sized and impeccably clean, which was a huge plus. The entire process, including check-in, was seamless and efficient. Just a heads-up: access to the lobby and rooms requires navigating a substantial set of stairs (4 flights). If you have mobility concerns, this might be something to consider. That said, for those who can manage the climb, the unparalleled proximity to the Colosseum truly makes this a fantastic choice. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here!

Unfortunately, in all the photos of the room I booked (and the only one that was described for a room for four) there were multiple pictures of views of the Colosseum. That was misleading as there was no such view from our room. In addition to that, the room was clean and simply modern, but for the price it was really a very basic room. Unfortunately, the photos make it appear much better than it is.

The elevator was not working on the morning we left the place and we had to drag our suitcases from the 4th floor to the lobby. It was a terrible experience and I was afraid for my husband's health. Clean and Close to the Colosseum
We only spent one night at the Colosseum Corner. Pros: For us it was a perfect location as we wanted to be close to the Colosseum. The room was comfortable, clean and had a nice view. Cons: The location is very busy, worked for us but not for some. I asked for dinner reservations and I was told they didn’t set them up because I didn’t follow up. After reviewing my correspondence, it was the hotel that dropped the ball. This is my third trip to Italy and I had a hard time finding the “door” and the “floor” to the unit. That said, I would recommend this hotel if you want to be next to the Colosseum. Just make sure you double check any requests and ask for exact instructions on where to find the “door” and what “floor” the unit is located.

The hotel is part of an apartment building and we weren’t sure how to get in to a resident opened the door for us. Other than that, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay at a better location.

We were unsure when we were dropped off at a large door to what looked like an apartment building but as soon as we were let in we were comfortable and excited. There is an elevator to get upstairs to the hotel. The employees were welcoming and knowledgeable. The room was modern and comfortable and had a great view. There was a restaurant, a gelato store and a lovely cafe right outside our door and the Coliseum was directly across the street! We had a lovely stay here!

Was worried about finding it, but knew that if we found the colosseum, we'd surely find this hotel. Have to check in by 430 on certain days.....or else! This hotel had a small sign on directory of building and you buzz the receptionist. After that, you get your own key. There is a lift if you need it. Cool room and bathroom.

Unit and staff were great. Rooftop terrace had a great view but you had to go with the desk clerk and couldn't stay without them. No chairs. Sidewalk along front of the building had trash and overflowing trash receptacles. Not their fault but was a distraction. Having said that I would definitely stay there again. Restaurants were great. Location Location Location! Can't get any closer to the Colosseum.

The staff were wonderful particularly the beautiful Christopher at the front desk who was extremely helpful and always had a smile. The room with the voew of the Colosseum was very clean and modern amd felt more like you were at home then a hotel the location was perfect and extremely convenient. Great location. 2 min walk from the metro and only a few minutes from restaurants. We could see the colosseum from our window. The reception was very kind and helpful. He took us to the roof of the building and the view was great! Breakfast was also enjoyable.

Our stay was 15 days. This is a small hotel five-minute walk from the Colosseum and Metro. You can see the Colosseum from the street in front of the hotel and rooftop. The staff Chris and Chris were friendly and helpful with directions and ideas on where to eat. There are so many restaurants within walking distance it made our stay easier. We will definitely stay there again.

This hotel was good with amazing views of colosseum. The room was very clean and comfortable. Their front desk closes at 8pm which wasn’t confusing for me or my husband because they give you a pin to enter hotel and keys etc. the restaurants are around the corner separate from hotel. I definitely recommend to try Oppio is like 2 mins downstairs corner from hotel. Overall this hotel is great if you want just a room to enjoy room and literally the colosseum is infront of hotel like 1-2 mins walking.
