Very effective HVAC device in the room that was amazing. The location is incredible and the staff was friendly. The room was a disaster.

The bathroom sink is not vented properly and horrible smells filled the room. The shower is like 3x3 feet with no curtain so the bathroom gets soaked. There is mold and water damage throughout the bathroom, especially behind where you are supposed to hang your towels as so much humidity is trapped there. The room is RIGHT next to a set of stairs going down to the subway so it is extremely noisy and the subway itself shakes the building until it stops running at 2 or 2:30 in the morning.

It may be worth it for the amazing location, but I'm too old for a place like this <3

the site is conveniently located, but unfortunately, I didn't make a good choice, given that it is an old building undergoing renovation, it lacks an elevator, and the bathroom in the room is narrow, uncomfortable, and easy to fall. It is no for people over 70 and it is expensive in relation to the amenities.
We highly appreciate Gabriel's kindness and attention.

The room was clean but the area this small hotel was in was the main issue. It is directly next door to the transit service. People hang out all night by the windows and they are loud. It is definitely a shady area. The pillows were hard, the tv has 2 channels and would not connect to wifi and the desk is not manned. You also have to carry luggage up the stairs. Which is hard with heavy luggage. I would not recommend.

My stay was great! Location of this accommodation was super, couldn't have asked for better. It's clean and tidy and they have great customer service. Our room had thin walls, we could hear a baby crying in another room and people talking in the hallway. We were able to hear construction as well in the building in the morning. If you're a light sleeper, this may not be your best available option.

Finding the entrance is a bit tricky and the check in was a little difficult partly due to the language barrier and complete lack of signage but I was also a little weary from travelling and leery of the entrance and \"reception area\" but once I settled in to Room 4 (which I would ask for) it was a great base for our stay in Rome. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable and the Air Conditioning worked well. Walking distance from Termini Station and you can walk to Piazza Spagna, Forum, Coliseum and Fontana Trevi, there is also a Metro station (Cavour) right outside the front door. The Monti area where Nerva is located is a lively and hip part of Rome and the alley when you turn right after coming out of the accommodations is full of boutiques and restaurants that are far enough from the tourist locations to provide an authentic taste of Rome. Prices in Rome can be outrageous and the value for money here seemed to be very good. You could you spend much more and have a more luxurious stay which I have done previously but I came to experience Rome not to sit in my hotel room.

Fantastic location. Amazing, memorable view of Riomaggiore marina. Easy instructions on how to get there. If air conditioning is important to you, there was no air conditioning. Had problem with internet when I was in the apartment. No devices would connect despite being told the modem was working. Also, ensure you get a carta turista from the property which helps save on some aspects of Cinque Terre, namely access to Via dell'Amore. Overall, great location, great service, great amenities. I'd stay here again (a/c wasn't important to me), but do need internet to work when working remote.

Lovely stay, the place was super clean, and aesthetically pleasing in the rooms. I loved the windows opening out into the streets. I will note that the surrounding neighborhood is super touristy and it gets a bit rowdy and chaotic at night, definitely bring some earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. Would recommend for a short stay for solo or a couple traveling.

The apartment was perfect and walkable to the sites, shopping and restaurants! Omri was a great host and very responsive. I recommend asking Omri to arrange someone to carry up bags when you arrive. It was worth the extra fee! The apartment is a 4-story walk up but the stairs are wide, well lit and have hand rails. The property location is an easy 12 min walk from the train station. With rolling bags, it was a bit difficult given the cobblestone streets but it is doable. I would have given the property a 5 star review if the lower-level bedroom had A/C. I will definitely stay again. Thank you Omri and Nim!

Staff very courteous and location outstanding; steps to the Metro and situated between Termini and Colloseo. The room basics were in place - a place to shower and sleep. However, if you are a light sleeper, the noise from the outdoor restaurant below and general yelling and
carrying on in the streets until 3 or 4 am isn’t blocked even with windows securely closed. When booking, check which rooms face the street and confirm AC is available (mine did not have AC) as the sound of the AC may block the street noise.

First of all, the attention we received before arriving was fantastic! I received a message on WhatsApp asking for arrival time so that things were ready for when we arrived. We did have a little difficultly finding the place, and I was able to call and they were so kind and helpful to getting us in the right direction to find the door. Upon arrival, the host was super welcoming and showed us around reception and then to our room! Our room was super cute! Towels were provided along with shampoo and body wash in the bathroom. The only thing was that the shower was super tiny, but we made it work. Around the area, tons of restaurants! You can also ask for recommendations and they will provide you with information. We were super close to the metro, literally stepping out of the door and bam you are there. Within walking distance was the colosseum which was wonderful. If you are looking at this property to stay at- I would say most definitely do it! 😊

Amazing location!! Just outside of the property is Cavour metro station which made getting around super easy & cheap!

5 minute walk to the Colosseum, 10 minutes to the main train station & 20ish minutes from the Trevi.

The property is on a very happening street, amazing cafe right across, restaurants & little shops all very easily accessible. There is a local supermarket 2 minutes away. We stayed pretty close by every night because we were able to find great spots to eat!

The room itself is small, but considering we spent most of our time exploring the city it wasn’t an issue. Only complaint was the shower is fairly small & does not have a shower door so the washroom gets very wet.

The staff are always available, brining fresh towels and cleaning the room daily.

Felt very safe in the property & surrounding area!

This place was listed as 8.8 in customer satisfaction. There is not a sign on the front of the building listing the hotel, there is not a lobby. It was dirty and a highly undesirable place to stay. The inside was like a dirty warehouse. It was grossly overrated and will not give us any confidence using your listing services. We did not stay and they refused to refund our money for the night.

Close to the Colosseum, but also close to Metro

For a budget friendly hotel, this gets you a room and a bed to stay in for the night. It is adjacent to the Cavour Metro station, which means the influx of people and noises remain throughout the night.

As well the hotel is quite eco-friendly on towel changes so I had the same towels for the 4 nights there.

The room had a double bed but it was a small room and there was little to no space to place the suitcase.

There was only one functioning light in the room so sunlight was especially helpful during the day.

The shower room had been retroactively fit in a clever way, but alas it also lacks space. The shower is about less than 1 metre wide and deep which one has to be quite careful not getting water onto the floor.

There is a shared kitchen where there is a refrigerator and a Nespresso machine for a quick coffee top up.

Overall, it would have been good to spend a little more for a bigger rooms and a more comfortable stay.

We loved this location! Right next to a metro and either a metro ride or short walk to the Termini train station. We enjoyed the nespresso machine in the commons and the breakfast provided at the coffee shop across the street. The receptionists were fluent in english & so helpful willing to print anything or make phone calls in Italian for us. Our room was cleaned daily and we slept great even in a busy location. We loved our stay here.

Location, location, location. That was my favorite thing about the accommodation. How close it was to major landmarks like the colosseum, Trevi Fountain, and Spanish Steps. The place is also literally right next to Cavour train stop and walkable from Roma Terminii station. The little things as well was pretty cool such as access to a fridge, dishes, hot plate, microwave was quite nice as well. If you’re traveling solo or with a friend, highly recommend this place.

The apartment we were given was amazing! It came with a bathroom, two rooms, a kitchen and a dining table. It was a bit cold in rome when we went but the space has heat! Breakfast is provided but if you have more time and want to make your own food, you can use the kitchen, There is a door between both rooms so there is certainly privacy if traveling in a small group. One queen size bed and a queen (i think) sized sofa bed. The sofa bed was great for being a sofa bed. The apartment was clean and within 5 minutes from the local train. You could even walk to Rome Termini terminal. The room was in walking distance to many places such as the trevi foundation which was amazing. If you want to travel by train, the train station is down the block. You will not regret staying at this hotel!

A 10 minute walk from the Termini train station.... and then everything worth seeing in Rome is walking distance (except The Vatican - but even this is only an easy (and cheap) Metro ride away).
Room was comfortable and clean. Lovely breakfast provided every morning.
No sign of hotel staff for the duration... so no-one to ask any questions or advice... but we were pretty self-sufficient, so this wasn't too much of a problem.
Not a hotel to go to if you want luxury and heaps of attention, but it was ideal for us (family).

Superb location, close to the Colosseum

My partner and I enjoyed a superb 5 nigjt stay at Nerva Accommodation, from 23rd to 28th April.

We stayed in one of the apartments on Via Favour. Ours on the ground floor.

We were shown to the apartment by an extremely helpful member of staff, who carried our bags.

The spacious accommodation was spotlessly clean, and had a Superb, comfortable, king size bed. Also a seating area with sofa bed, and a kitchen equipped with coffee machine, fridge, kettle and induction hob.

On arrival, the kitchen was stocked with milk, and there was fresh fruit in a basket.

The location is superb; just ten minutes walk to the Colosseum and The Forum. The Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain are about 20 mins walk away.

Via Cavour itself is a busy main road. However, we weren't ever troubled by noise, as the apartment is within a quiet courtyard, off the road. On Via Cavour and nearby Via Urbana are plentiful restaurants. I recommend both Trieste pizza and Urbana 47 on Via Urbana.

One of the highlights of our stay was the Jacuzzi on 3rd Floor of Nerva
We booked this (no extra cost) on arrival. A wonderful and relaxing antidote to many miles walked in Rome!

I certainly hope to return to Nerva very soon. Supremely located and exceedingly comfortable. Cannot recommend it highly enough!

Centrally located, Jacuzzi was a bonus, breakfast was very good although we were unsure whether we were expected to do the dishes (many guesses didn't bother), the bed was a pretty hard, the shower pressure reasonable. The lady that checked us in was awesome, we were able to check in early and leave luggage for our late flight. She was very accommodating and friendly. WIFI was dodgy, it kept dropping in and out and it was impossible to make calls on messenger because of this.

Comfortable and clean room but so-so service

Pros: The room my friend and I stayed in was clean and comfortable. The Internet worked fine as did the heating (the things I generally care about most after cleanliness and a comfortable mattress). There was also free printing which was great.

Cons: The check in process was a bit of a nuisance as the place not located where the listed property was and thus had to wait on the street for 10 minutes with a heavy bag. It was also tough to not have any access to a concierge when we needed info/advice as the lady who cleaned the rooms did not speak English. The breakfast left much to be desired (no eggs or toast and the only fruit offered was oranges (to make juice with). It would have also been nice to get more shower gel and shampoo as we were only given one packet per person per day (so presumably were supposed to pick between washing our hair or our body?) I was surprised that these packets were not restocked especially on our second to last day when we had one day left and only one packet remaining. Some guests did not always remember to close the door all the way so I was hesitant to leave my bags there for the evening (even though they offered luggage storage). Finally, I happened to run into one of the employees (checking in a family) and asked if they had any single rooms available as I was staying in Rome for another night. The lady said she did not think so but would email me by the next day but never did.

So: Great room + location, so-so service

I came back to Rome a few months later and decided to try another hotel. Should have went back to one I stayed in before. The front desk was always empty and at one point I needed someone to turn on the hot water and had to phone them. The room was cleaned everyday. There is a hot tub for use. The hotel is in my favorite part of Rome; out of the tourist areas.

Although hard to find the front the door. Everything is exactly what you need for a stay in Rome. The Gentlemen at the front was very useful in suggesting places to eat and how to get around Rome. Although you may think it would get incredibly noisy at night the windows seal up shut out all noise and light so you can get a peaceful night sleep.

Great little place to stay

I was a little bit nervous about booking this apartment as it was so cheaper and some of the photos on the site made it look a little bit dated.

But it was great. Great location - ideal if coming in to the train station, and right next to a metro stop, on a great street of little cafe/bars and restaurants, and a few minutes to the Coliseum. The rooms are basic, but modern (Ikea furnished) and not too small with a perfectly clean shower and toilet/room. Our room opened on to the little shared kitchenette where fresh croissants were left out each morning and there was a coffee maker, sink and microwave.

The rooms had strong wifi, lots of fluffy towels, a hairdryer, and there was a little pc in the kitchen you could use.

You'll need to let reception know what time you're checking in as it isn't always manned and there's a small fee if you check in after late evening. There's also no lift so you need to be ok with a small flight of stairs.

Considering you'll spend most of your time in Rome out and about I thought this place was a little gem with some great little bars in the area and would definitely stay again.

Great stay for reasonable price

The staff were very accommodating and they wil answer all your questions and needs. They respond on your emails quick before arrival. The rooms were very spacious, clean and the neighborhood is really quiet. The kitchenette is a bonus as well and they offer free coffee, fresh orange juice and some toasts. Another bonus is that the metro is just in front of the doorstep and the area has a lot to offer from attractions, restaurant, bar and so.

The staff was so kind. I am a single woman traveling alone and felt completely safe! Great cappacino next door. Walk to train and subway, feat price, just perfect!

Great central location

Location great for all sights. We managed to walk everywhere although did top 25,000 steps per day. Close to metro if you want it. Didn't spend long at accommodation as was out and about but was by clean and had use of kitchen area if needed. No complaints.

Noisy Accomodation

We were informed few days prior to the arrival the room of Nerva have to changed to other location which is also near to the cavour train. However, we are not pleased with the last minute changes as we booked this room is due to the convenient which we want near to the train (1min) walk but they arrange to other location which you need walk 8mins to the train. In the first place if we want further accommodation from the train we can book other accommodation and the owner only inform us so last minute which we cant change our booking. Even through there was no much different on the distance but when you are tired for the shopping / sightseeing and still need to walk back to the apartment we feel very exhausted cos everyplace come with stairs only and you need to carry so much stuff.
The room does not come with sound proof wall / door and is very noisy at night from the traffic and in the morning from other rooms. For 4nights we does not have a good sleep.
After all, I will not recommend for the Nerva accommodation if you guys need a good sleep/rest and I guess still have other better accommodation which is near to the train. Please search around before book this accommodation.

Nice Accomodation

Firstly, we were welcomed by a very friendly staff- FON. She does beyond her duty to explain to us on how to go about in Rome. The location is just next to a metro- cavour. Cavour is just one metro station away from Roma Termini train station. The location is also near to colosseum. They have facilities such as coffee maker, microwave, kettles & utensils for sharing use. They even helped us to semd our clothes for laundry (of course with a cost..hehe..) generally, a good stay. I will definitely recommend it to my friends.

Best budget & clean room with coldest AC in Rome

Linda & everyone including the housekeeper are helpful & full of enthusiasm. Room has the coldest air conditioner in Italy (having stayed in more than 12 Italian cities/villages) which is a must for Rome in summer. Safe; left my passport/money belt under pillow, sheets changed by housekeeper & belt is still under pillow. Location is excellent. Best budget stay. highly recommended. will definitely stay here again.

Hotel close to the subway station

Hotel was hard to find. Staff friendly but not really attentive.
Room was clean.
Bed was, ok if not to fossy !
Internet connection was ok, but cut often.
On our 4 nights stay, only saw croissant the last morning.. And this is a
B&B

Overall, place was ok for a low budget stay.

Walking distance to Colosseum and there is a metro station right next to the hotel so is very easy to get around the city. Plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby too. Shower was a bit small but bed was a good size. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful.

enjoyed the stay entirely. though did have a hitch when checking in to be informed that we had no reservation on their computer. This was sorted out about 30 mins later but it is not what you want to hear when arriving.

Great Location and Value for Money

We had a triple room in the Stella accommodation and it was very centrally located - we walked everywhere, including to the Vatican. Room was large, clean, quiet and we had a shared kitchen. Breakfast on weekends was adequate with cereal and pastries. Coffee and tea were available anytime. Weekday breakfast was at cafe downstairs and was limited to coffee and a pastry (you had to pay extra for tea!). Staff were nice and office (which was down the road) was easy to find - just down the stairs next to the entrance to the station (or you can walk around on the road and avoid the stairs). Good value for money in a very central location.

Center of Rome

The hotel is only minutes from the Termini station, The Colosseum and other great monuments. The staff was helpful and friendly. I bring earplugs with me when I travel, I recommend it.

Pleasant hotel, good location and friendly staff

Nerva accommodation was a pleasant place to stay. It was close to the Roma Termini train station and Colosseum. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. The kitchen was not well stocked - no kettle! But there was a Nespresso coffee machine which was great.
The shower did not drain in the bathroom which was unpleasant.

I recommend is great hotel!

Very clean room and very nice service when I needed to print boarding card at the airport there was no problem delivered to my room,
a small room in the center-anywhere near, I had a small breakdown of the shower when I came from a walk he was already a problem repaired.
I recommend is great.

Service apartment and not a hotel room

Pros:
-Very clean huge room/bathroom upon arrival.
-Close to train station and colosseum.
-Me, and my wife felt safe walking around neighborhood at night too but its certainly a lil shady.
-Linda (hotel staff) really helped us get a taxi when we were having a hard time due to the heavy rain.
Cons:
-We arrived at location provided to us but the apartment turned out to be in another location. It wasn’t too difficult to go to the apartment but was definitely a bit weird.
-When we booked the room we were under the impression it was a hotel room but it turned out to be more of an apartment upon arrival. This should be made clear to customers when booking online. This may be a plus for some people, but me and my wife are used to staying at a hotel room.
-Room not cleaned every day. The 2nd day of our stay when housekeeping came, we asked her to come back for cleaning. She said she would come be back but she didn’t return that day.
-No telephone in apartment. I ended up using my personal cell phone to get in touch with front desk staff and that was inconvenient since we were travelling internationally. They also gave us a phone number and asked us to whatsapp them incase any questions but were not very responsive.
-Breakfast coupon:Me and my wife were given a breakfast coupon for each day of our stay. The coupon was for a coffee shop next the apartment building. The coupon can be redeemed for a basic croissant and coffee/latte. It was more of a snack than breakfast.
