I chose this place as it was central and I wanted to be walking distance to most places. However, I had an awful experience with the check in process. I had messaged the property about my arrival three times prior to my stay with no response. I let them know more than 48 hours ahead of my arrival time, to ask about the check in process, with no reply. When I arrived in the afternoon, there was no reception staff at hand and I had no way of contacting them. Finally some tourists who were staying on the floor above, helped me out. The room itself was small and the A/C did not work, hence it felt quite stuffy at times. There was no real professionalism and I was left disappointed and would not stay again.

Great place to stay!! The room was on the smaller side, but if you are solo traveling and just looking for a nice place to stay with a private bathroom, this is it. Lovely place to get pastries and gelato right next to it, and a fountain right outside to enjoy. Housekeeping came in and made the bed every day, which was lovely to come back to after a long day out in beautiful Rome.

Place is cute! Very convenient my 22yr did walk everywhere and when I say we walked we walked at least 20 steps a day but the area is close to many restaurants and shops you can see the coliseum from our place. The place is very quiet which was fine for us since it was just the two of us not sure if would work for a family because you can hear everything and we had to be pretty quiet which was fine since we would relax and sleep only the rest of our day we were out exploring. There’s a restaurant right outside the place so we would wake up a little late and they serve full breakfast which is unusual for Italy and served late in the day since we would sleep in.

This property is in a great location!! Walkable to every main attractions. 3 minutes walk to the subway and the Colosseum. Lots of restaurant nearby. The room is a bit small with the old charm touch but has everything you need. A/C is great for summer time. It doesn’t look like the picture from expedia but close. No receptionist on site, however there is a person that response to your request right away by text that you set up with them. I did not here from them through expedia messeges that I sent. I got one automated reply message once I finish booking. I called the property phone number provided from welcoming message through expedia.After that I am able to communicate with them by texting , pretty simple.

Overall, I think it is a nice place in a great location.

I stayed for 2 nights, has everything you could need. Small room but well designed and it was perfect for one. You can open the windows or there is air conditioning. Great location, I walked to all the attractions I wanted to see. Approx. 15 mins to Trevi fountain and 1 hr to Vatican City. Colosseum was approx 20 min walk. Also walking distance to the train/bus station. Alessio was very helpful with any questions I had. I loved my stay, would stay again.

While not a high end hotel, Piazzetta de' Monti Suites is a comfortable place convenient to many restaurants the a 5 minute walk to the Coliseum. Local bus service to to other locations in Rome is less than a 10 minute walk. If I am fortunately enough to travel to Rome again, I will definitely be staying there.

Great stay in an amazing neighborhood!

Enjoyed my stay of 4 nights in a single room. Check in was easy over WhatsApp, the hosts were responsive and checked with me to make sure everything was ok. Room was the expected size for a single in a major European city, the shower was surprisingly big and the bathroom spacious with some nice amenities. A small fridge, kettle and Nespresso machine with tea and coffee was appreciated. I liked the decor and it was very clean.

The location is right on a very busy piazza in the lively Monti neighborhood, which I really enjoyed. Lots of cafes, restaurants and neighborhood bars nearby, it was fun and always felt safe. The hosts have invested in double glazed windows which cut the noise and I had no issues - I’m a city person!

Very close to Colosseum and Forum and an easy walk to many other main sites. Vatican is a long walk, or just take the 40 bus. Easy 15 minute walk to Termini train station.

Loved the Monti neighborhood and enjoyed my stay, would recommend for those who enjoy a lively, authentic vibe.

Amazing amazing location! Great cleaning services. It's a little noisy outside with the multiple restaurants but I actually liked it. It was my wake up call. Make sure to pry the box open with your nails if you're checking in by yourself.

I'd totall stay here again. We traveled to 3 cities in Italy; this was the best stay. You can't beat the location. You can see the Colosseum from the front door and it's a 5-minute walk to the Colosseum, Roman Forum, etc. We also had a room overlooking the plaza and fountain, which was lovely. There are dozens of dining options at all price points within a 5- or 10-minute walk. There's a shop right downstairs that sells gelato and cannoli. It was only a 4-minute walk to the nearest subway station, and a 40-ish minute walk to the Vatican, with many beautiful sights and landmarks along the way.

The room was clean (I'm a germaphobe), and housekeeping came daily. There was an a/c unit, a single-cup espresso machine, a mini-fridge, a blow dryer, and shampoo and conditioner. There was not an iron in the room, but we asked for one and it was brought to us quickly. It's on the second floor of the building, and there is a tiny, one-person elevator to get up, but if you have a big bag or are a larger person, you'd have to lug your stuff up a flight of stairs.

Alessio was very helpful and attentive. Without us asking, he helped us decide on the best way to get there from the train station when we arrived, he gave us a map and made recommendations on places to go and how to get there, and he sent a Whatsapp message with a link to a Google Map where he had marked his favorite restaurants.

Again, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, and I'd recommend it to friends and family.

The location was so convenient to all of the attractions and sites (down the street from the Colosseum) there was a small breakfast shop and gelato right outside the place. Hotel had an older vibe to it (historic); more of a b&b vibe. Giuseppe and Lorenzo were so accommodating and helpful before and throughout our entire stay. Would recommend!

Its walking distance to some tourist area.& near to metro, busses & 12-15mins walk to roma termini station. Lorenzo is so well organized & supportive on my check in day. Lorenzo is a superb host! This accommodation was perfect for my son and I during our 9 days in Rome. There are a bar and a gelateria right downstairs and so many food options, we never ate at the same place twice! Our room overlooked a piazza with a fountain and there were two churches right near the B & B. The Colosseum is visible from the front door. The front is an easy spot to meet up with a taxi.

The a/c worked consistently well during our stay and the mini fridge was so helpful to keep nasoni water cold. The shower was great, the tap water was cool and refreshing, and the beds were comfortable. The only negative is that the room is very dim, even with all of the lights on.

Our trip to Rome was fantastic and the Piazetta de Monti made it even better! We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to stay there again someday in the future.

Very nice property,apartment converted into rooms to rent clean beautiful,our driver was so nice called and found the place . Property is very close to colosseum, except no staff on the property we had to call or text to communicate also has air condition but blew dust needs to change filter or clean it overall was good

Rooms are dated and much smaller than in they look in the photo, bathroom had stains on the wall possibly from a bottle of champagne that sprayed the wall.
It was very difficult contacting the property prior to arrival. We did not see an email sent to confirm arrival date and time and could not get in. When we finally connected via messaging we received entry info but could not open building door with the PIN code. Do your best to connect with them prior to arrival to avoid the above!

The hotel is located very close to the Colosseum and The Forum. So close that you can see the Colosseum from the street. Many restaurants and areas to shop. Additionally all the other major sites are within walking distance and the metro is super close and easy to use. Giuseppe is the person we coordinated with. He is AMAZING! He provided so much help and was just a major pleasure. He was the first person we met in Rome and he set the stage well for an incredible stay. He provided us a great list of restaurants and as requested provide us places for specific things we were shopping for. He also was willing to book transportation for us to the airport. When we come back to Rome we will stay here again.

My room was the perfect size for one person. The double glass window provided quiet at night in the busy area. They give the option to not have housekeeping come in during your stay to be more eco-friendly and save on towel washing. Great location close to many restaurants and main tourist attractions like the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain. They allow you to keep your luggage in the front office after your check-out time if you have a later departure as well. Very clean historic building.

Nice room close to Colloseum.

The room was well presented and located only a 5 minute walk from Rome's attractions including Colloseum. The area was also nice. Hostesses very helpful despite our poor Italian.

Difficult checkin and non functional wifi

Stressful checkin and lack of working wifi detracted from a great location and nice room. For checkin there is only a four hour window (3-7) outside of which there is a 20€ fee. This wasn't clear or in any of the details I received about the booking (it was hidden in the fine print). You also had to let the hotel know exactly when you're arriving which can be stressful if your flight/travel plans don't go as anticipated. I was hoping to use wifi for work but couldn't even load email or use google maps. Overall this is not a hotel I would recommend.

Hotel was close walking distance to the coluseum. However, the AC was a fan and the room did not stay cool. Also, our room look out into the fountain courtyard which is where people go to drink until 4am so it was very loud. Hard to sleep at night at stay cool.

They accommodated us allowing us to leave our baggage in the morning (prearranged) before check in so we could explore the city. We stayed 4 nights with no problems. Would highly recommend..

The location was 10 minutes from the Colesseum and hop-on hop-off pick ups so very convenient in that regards. Plus many places close by to eat at. The only problems we encountered were: 1) located next to a local hangout (fountain) so after hours it got a little noisey and 2) trying to get in touch with them to let them know when we would be arriving as they do not have a front desk so no one is there all of the time. However, they were very helpful when making arrangements for taxi & taking care of the room each day.

Excellent overall stay here with a great location. Only a few minutes walk to the Colosseum.

Perhaps a English speaking phone number on arrival would be useful as we arrived late with no reception area a little tricky to get into room. Some help from a local help to sort it but phone number provided only gave an Italian speaking person who didn't help us.

Bathroom could do with a little updating but this is minor and did not affect the stay. Two lots of double glazing made the room super quiet which was good as its right next to the busy piatsa.

It has a great location and is close walking distance to the Colosseum, Altar of the Fatherland (Victor Emmanuel II monument), Roman Forum and Capitoline Museums. The suites are clean and staff are friendly. The only thing they need is a 24/7 front desk for guests to check-in and check-out.

Did not realize when I made the reservation that it was more of a B&B. We arrived a little early and it almost felt like they weren't expecting us at all. Once we were let into the building by another owner and figured out where to check in it went smooth. It wasn't quite what I expected. But cozy. The room was a bed and private bath with stand up shower. Only one temp for the water. A little on the hot side. All in all, it was safe, clean, location was perfect. It was all we needed for our two nights in Rome.

Very cute residential hotel! It is very easy to get to the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill on foot. On the weekends it's hard to open your window because you are very close to the square outside and it is definitely a party area. When the windows are closed it is silent in the room. Bathroom was very spacious!

Beautiful room. Great location!

Location, location, location! The hotel is within an easy walking distance to everything we wanted to see. The colosseum is visible from the front door. And the neighborhood is vibrant with wonderful restaurants, shops, and bars. The room was charming and well kept although a little noisy at night due to the lively neighborhood. There is no consierge service so keep your travel guide handy. Overall we had a lovely stay.

No A/C poor wifi hot water only last 5 minutes shower pan did not drain. Hotel is located next to a Plaza where every doy hangs out until 3:00 AM Since the A/C wasn't working we had to leave the window open. Lots of noise. Also the are dumpsters in front o the Hotel. Lots of noise from the dumpsters all night

The apartment was lovely, the only down side was there is no reception, after already feeling a lot of pressure not knowing the city or how to get to the hotel, we felt a bit rushed to get there in order to meet the person who would book us in. Also there is nobody there if you need anything, however you can call them. Overall a very nice, clean apartment.

I loved it. It was quiet and centrally located and very clean..Rooms are cozy and the WiFi was a little slow, but who really cares when you're smack dab in the middle of ancient history. Great restaurants and vintage shops in the area. Just a few feet from the Colosseum and other MAJOR sites.

Spacious, plush room in the heart of Monti

We stayed just for one night between a late flight into Rome and an early morning train down to Naples. Monti is my favorite neighborhood in Rome, and it was really a pleasure to find such a lovely hotel room for the evening. Only downside was the extra fee for the late check in, which is stated in the fine print but which I had overlooked. Nonetheless, I highly recommend.

Kolezyum un kalbinde Monti bölgesinin merkezinde Roma şehir ruhunu en iyi yaşayabileceğiniz noktalardan. Yanı başındaki küçük meydan her ne kadar odalara yakın gibi dursa da iki ayrı cam sistemi ile neredeyse hiç ses geçirmemesi harikaydı. Merkezi noktanın tüm restoranlara yakın olması da güzel bir artı. 3 kişilk odada konaklamıştık oda küçük olabilir ama bir haftadan kısa tatiller için son derece yeterli. Geliştirilmesi gereken nokta olarak bir boy aynası veya benzeri ile mükemmel olacaktır.

ここをホテルだと思ってはいけません。
民泊です。フロントも無いし
鍵は暗証番号で入ってポストで鍵を取ります。
そのあとまた暗証番号があります。
立ち往生しました。
オーナーらしき人が来ましたが
説明もないです。

鍵は他の部屋でも開きました。不用心です。
二度と泊まりません

場所はとても良いです。

ゆっくりもできます。
ご飯食べる所も多いですし街並みも綺麗です

第一の扉を開けるのに、エクスペディアから説明が不十分であったために開けるのに無駄な時間を使ってしまった。
施設に入れたはよいが、第二扉の鍵の置いてある場所もエクスペディア説明がなく入るのに2時間もかかっしまった。
それらのことで、かなりの不快な思いをした。
