Everything was amazing and highly recommend staying at the Condominio Monti.

Staff were very helpful from the moment we checked in with all our enquiries.

At breakfast the staff went out of the way to try and find something that my dairy intolerant daughter could eat. There was a wide selection available for breakfast and everything tasted great. I am now trying to find chocolate filled croissants and the olive bread that was served.

We ate in the restaurant twice in the evening. We enjoyed it that much we had to go back again for the saltimbocca di pollo and Orecchiette con zucca e salsiccia.

The room was exactly what we needed. Clean, comfortable and quiet for a good nights sleep ready to explore.

We’ve already decided that we want to make a return trip to Rome and stay here again.

Beautiful hotel surrounded by restaurants in an excellent, centrally located neighborhood close to the Roma Termini train station. It was an easy train ride from FCO to Roma Termini and a brief walk to the hotel from there. The proximity to Roma Termini made it easy to travel to Florence by train. The rooftop bar was a standout, the perfect place to end a night with glowing views of the Colosseum directly down the road and an expertly made Negroni.

A lovely boutique hotel. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was a treat, and the coffees were lovely. Even on cooler mornings/evenings the patio heaters meant sitting outside was comfortable. Every member of staff was friendly and helpful.
We stayed in a family room in the annex. This was a great room with 2 large doubles a kitchenette with fridge and kettle and a large bathroom with walk in shower. Previous customers have commented on the security in the annex, but we didn't have any problems at all. There were two gates to get through which were locked during hours of darkness and felt secure.

This hotel is super close to the colosseum, it is one street over to the best gelato we tried in Italy.

We loved the location, and the service at the reception and at breakfast was exceptional.

The receptionist noticed that one of our birthdays was happening while we were staying with them, and they gave us a special treat that morning during breakfast. which was a very welcome surprise!

Wonderful freindly staff, they even noticed my wifes birthday and gave her a cake. Great location near to many great restaurants and bars. Good AC in the room which was needed during our stay. The hotel did a few free experiences including a night photography walk to the coliseum and a tiramisu making course. Overall the hughlight was the wonderful staff.

I booked a single room for a week and true to European fashion it was tiny. The thing that makes this hotel is the staff. Every single one of them was so helpful, kind, and quick with any issue. Without the kindness of the staff it would have been a lot less pleasant. The AC worked enough but it was by no means cool. Sara, Yusuf, Alessandro, Sammi, to name a few of the staff that made coming back to the hotel after my days excursions feel homey and cared for. The other fantastic thing about this hotel is the rooftop breakfast terrace. The food is perfectly fine and convenient and the outdoor indoor cafe vibe is adorable. The location is a dream in terms of everything I wanted to get to.

My family and I stayed here for 2 nights while in Rome. We have 2 children, 18 and 11. We stayed in a room in the apartment next door. The building has a small elevator and steep, narrow stairs. We used the elevator to send our luggage up and walked up the stairs. If stairs are an issue for you this may be problematic. I saw no issue with a little extra exercise to burn off the calories from anll the Italian food and wine consumed. The hotel staff was very nice. They arranged airport transfers for us, which I appreciated. Even though the room faced a busy street, I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was with the windows closed. Our room had 2 beds, queen size if i remember correctly. The beds were comfortable, linens clean. The bathroom was a typical Italian bathroom with a small shower, toilet, bidet. My only complaint for the room was the air conditioning was not very efficient. It was around 95F outside and the room was equally warm. The free breakfast on the roof terrace was lovely and included pastries, delicious made to order coffee and lattes, fruit, charcuterie offerings. The location was ok. Right down the street from the colosseum. Lots of cafes closer to the colosseum, don’t bother with the restaurant downstairs, it was not great. Overall, we would stay at this hotel again if we ever visit Rome in the future.

I stayed with a friend and was pleasantly surprised with this property. It was in an excellent location, the Colosseum was at the end of the street and all the other major landmarks were all within walking distance.

The rooftop had a great breakfast which was included in our stay and it turned into a bar in the evening which had some good options. The cafe/restaurant downstairs had some delicious options.

The room was small but enough space for the two of us. Bathroom again was small, but modern and clean.

The hotel offered some free tours/activities. We did the night time Colosseum tour which was lovely.

The hotel also offered cute free postcards which I’ve kept as keepsake art for my home.

Would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous location and value for money

The location was fantastic as we wanted to be near to the colosseum. It really was great to be in the middle of a buzzing area that was very lively. I would recommend ear plugs as well, as the windows are not double glazed.
There were plenty of fantastic restaurants, particularly Oliva, the restaurant owned by the hotel. We had a fabulous meal and the service there was brilliant.
The service as a whole was fantastic at the hotel. The receptionists and the breakfast team were always very welcoming and friendly. Plenty of choice at the buffet breakfast too.
The only slight downside was our Quadruple room was quite tired and could do with a spruce up. The floorboards were broken, the shower tray pealing and the upholstery on the chair coming apart. If we were staying more then two nights I probably would have asked to move rooms but as we only used the room to sleep in (the beds were very comfy), we made do. But this doesn't take away that this is a great boutique hotel based in a fabulous location and definitely great value for money.

We had a great stay at Condominio Monti - very good service, comfortable bed, very clean, and best of all was the location down the street from the Colosseum. Cocktails at the rooftop bar upstairs were very good as well.

Our only complaint was that the noise levels from the hallway carried quite a lot into the room, especially on the fourth floor where guests had to take the stairs to get to breakfast. But, we would probably still stay here again given the location, price, and quality overall.

It’s close to the Coliseum and an easy walk to Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon. We felt safe at night walking home from Via die Serpenti where we listened to violin and guitar music from local musicians. Just magical.

Something unique that we appropriated was that they had post cards with different land marks on them in the room. They also offered us a complementary glass of Prosecco upon arrival. We had a great stay in Rome. The property is central to walk to all the main sights including the colosseum at the end of the road! Our room was sizeable and well decorated. Breakfast was served on the rooftop terrace and was a lovely space to sit and enjoy. Staff very friendly and accommodating. The only downside is breakfast does not start until 7.30am, this didn’t suit us as we had to leave for a flight, we were offered a breakfast bag but it was not well filled and disappointing given the spread offered. Overall a good stay to explore Rome!

This hotel is a hidden Gem, it's small, doesn't have a fancy lobby, 1 elevator that can take 2 people at a time, rooms on the smaller side BUT lovely staff, great rooftop bar, excellent breakfast, amazing location and very clean, comfertable and QUIET - They have doors that isolate every 2 rooms into a seperate section (from Outside) and keeps all corridoe noise out.

A must stay when in Rome!!

My stay at Monti was short but sweet, just a layover on my journey. When my first flight got canceled, I quickly reached out to Monti to adjust my plans for the airport transfer. They were super responsive, sorting everything out for me in no time.

Arriving at the hotel, I was greeted by two friendly ladies who filled me in on all the cool stuff they had to offer: amenities, things to do around the area, and even free tours. I managed to squeeze in one of these tours during my brief stay and I'm so glad I did! The tour guide was as warm and welcoming as the hotel staff, and really knew his stuff about the city and its history.

The room itself was great—clean, tidy, and surprisingly spacious. Even though I was next to the elevator, I didn't hear a peep all night thanks to a smart design of having a door separating my room and the one across from me to block out hallway noise. I'm a VERY light sleeper and did not hear a single noise from the elevator, or people in the stairway/hall.

I'll definitely be booking with Monti again when I come back to Rome for a longer visit!!

Clean rooms and friendly staff with a decent breakfast. On our last day, we had to check out by 3:30am. The hotel staff delighted us with a packed breakfast to-go, including croissants, toast, nutella, jam, honey, and juice. The only disadvantage within the hotel is the strange setup of the elevators, where it seems you have to always climb some steps even if you take an elevator to your floor. As long as you use the bell service and have no need for wheelchair accessibility, it isn't a problem.

The hotel is located in a convenient location for restaurants, shopping, and of course historical sites. we could hear enough noise from the street to briefly wake us up. Also, there is a garbage pickup spot near the property, in which we spotted several rats having a feast! However, we never saw rats, or bugs for that matter, anywhere inside the hotel.

There was a problem with our shower and some service issues but ultimately they turned it around for us. I wouldn't recommend this hotel if you have any sort of mobility issue, if you are a light sleeper, or if you need good lighting in the bathroom.

The bigger rooms were all located in an annex 2 doors over, which had no lobby, no reception desk and the doors were not even locked from 8am- midnight! Had to walk down a dark hallway to small dark staircase upstairs. Needless to say we felt extremely unsafe going in and out at night with our kids. For the price paid, better off staying at a Airbnb for a fraction of the cost!

Great hotel in a really cool area, surrounded by lots of lovely restaurants, bars and shops. Staff excellent, friendly and knowledgeable. Free WiFi. Everything finished to a high spec. Lovely roof terrace where an excellent breakfast buffet is served. Lots of sights within 15 minute walk and the closest metro station is under 10 mins walk. Rome Termini 15 min walk. Thoroughly recommend.

Really all the 5 star reviews say it all. I cannot really expand on those reviews. I will say, the staff at this hotel are the best most friendly people I have come across in my life! The hotel offers mini tours nightly for free and are very cool!! When you stand in the middle of the street, in front of the hotel, you can see the coliseum, it’s beautiful! You will not be sorry booking this hotel!!!

This is a wonderful area to stay in Rome, and the hotel is very nice. Rooftop breakfast. Rooftop apéritivo after a long day of walking. Clean bed and bath.

Great stay

Great location, fantastic breakfast for being Italy and friendly staff.
However, if you are sensitive to sounds you should not stay on the 4th floor.

The staff are friendly and helpful. The Gardenia room was beautiful and clean. Breakfast was wonderful!
The only negative was the stairs. I was traveling with my 80 year old grandpa and he had trouble getting to the room.

* The staff from the reception to those working in the restaurant were absolutely great, friendly, and super helpful!
* Upon arrival, we were asked about our itinerary and they were kind enough to pinpoint all the locations we wanted to see on the map along with the best way to reach each destination and suggestions on additional gems to visit
* The location of the hotel is also ideal and a walking distance to many attractions
