The view from room.

Very nice hotel. Friendly and warm. We had a room in the front of the building. Right off of the elevator. All guest must pass through the door right outside our room door. If you do not like noise, get a room further down hallway.

Overall… very nice. Great location. 👍

Average. Good location. Too Expensive.

The hotel is way too expensive for the services it offers. the only good thing about this is the location, the showers are good quality. The air conditioner was not strong at all and could get stuffy. We went in end-April, and the weather was good. Not sure how it would be in high heat months. The AC was not working well at all.

This is a beautiful old building and as such there are some things that need updating. The a/c did not work and although there were gorgeous French doors opening to wonderful balcony, the noise and street lights made it almost impossible to sleep. The TV is not a smart TV so no reading to Netflix in the evening. the buffer breakfast is 10 euros but the the food was mediocre at best. I only received steamed milk in my cappuccino… the ladies working the front desk were incredibly friendly and really went out of there way so we could check in early to rest.

Central location is the only thing this hotel has going for it. The room & lobby smelled strongly like damp/mold to me. Tiny elevator, 2 ppl or 1 with luggage. Very noisy, you can here your neighbors and ppl in the hallway at 2am most nights, and there are ambulances all day and night passing which we heard from the 4th floor. Bathroom is small, you will burn whomever is showering if you use sink/toilet, hotel has cracks in the walls in many places. Mini fridge did work. Only given 1 key card, seriously?! The bed is made up with only a single thin sheet, maybe nice if you like the room warm but a comforter should be provided.

Mold in bathroom. Shower, TV and kettle did not work. Had them fix the shower and then the hand shower stopped working. Definitely not a 3 star. More like an old motel - 1 star at best.

This property advertised that they had nearby pool access which turned out to be false. Their solution was to blame Expedia and that was it. They were unwilling to work with me to cancel, discount or shorten my stay. They said a refund was impossible and that was that. To contact management you need to email a general email, which I did and still have not heard anything back a week later for a mistake that was made on their end. Absolute WORST hotel experience I've ever had in my life. 10/10 would not recommend staying here simply because the management is unwilling to stand by and help their customers. The front desk staff were absolutely terrific while I navigated this major discrepancy.

Ottimo hotel, mi sono trovata molto bene ed è la seconda volta che soggiorno al Giolli Hotel perché è in una ottima posizione, vicino alla stazione Termini, alla fermata della metropolitana Repubblica e punto strategico per raggiungere i luoghi principali di interesse. Me and my 3yrs old daughter had a great time in Rome in general. The hotel is ideal location for getting to the main sites. However, I would have given the rating much worse as my experience the first night was awful due to the very helpful staffs the evening we checked it. BUT it was made so much better by a very helpful lady at the front desk..she attended to put need and was extremely helpful with all the information we needed. I would definitely stay here again only because of the experience with her

Amazing stay

We loved our stay here. The lady on reception was so helpful with information about the surrounding area and gave us directions to the many attractions nearby. Hotel is in an amazing location it’s within walking distance to The Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, The Spanish steps & main shopping area and a 5 min walk to the Republica metro station which brought us to the Vatican. Our room was small but comfortable and clean and it met our needs perfectly.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Giolli Nazionale. The only problem is that the walls were very thin. Every night, I was woken up by my hotel neighbors coming back. I could hear almost every word of their conversation. Other than that, everything else was great.

Decent hotel and walkable to the colosseum, pantheon, Spanish steps, Trevi fountain, etc. The hotel gets really hot and they don’t allow the AC to be turned on during winter. We had to sleep with our window cracked open. Also they didn’t have a clothing iron nor coffee in the room. The beds were also uncomfortable.

The hotel doesn’t have front desk service during the night. The emergency alarm starts sounding at 3 in the morning and When the whole guests are downstairs there is no one from the hotel administration who shows up yo explain what is going on. When calling the number in the website they accepts there is a maintenance issue with the alarm.

It was Ok for the money.

The bed is awful!!! Time to invest some money into new beds
Could feel the springs.
They offer airport transportation. Which is great..I said yes to it and asked where do I meet the drive? And please confirm.
Need got a confirmation. Panic not knowing. Should have a better system. Would have been much lest stressful. If the hotel sent a email. Go to X and meet drive.
