Relais De L'Opera Group is a small Boutique Hotel situated in the historic centre of Rome housed in a 19th century building; its strategic position is within easily reach of all the main areas of interest, and is close to the Repubblica and Termini stations. Situated in an area full of shops, bars and restaurants which offer local specialities and classical Italian dishes.
Our structure consists of carefully prepared rooms furnished to offer you maximum comfort. The Relais de l'Opera offers free Wi-Fi connection in the entire area and air conditioned rooms with Sky Gold Vision and a flat screen TV.

They lay rose petals on the bed as it was our honeymoon and it was my husbands birthday during the stay and we came back to find a hand written note and a bottle of wine. Perfect location. We enjoyed everything about our stay. The room was immaculately clean and we were very comfortable. We arrived from the airport (early) and were very pleased to be able to check in approx 10:30am which was very much appreciated as we were very tired after traveling. The location suited our needs, being close to the main train station and in walking distance to most sites. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We were surprised that, even having a window facing the street, it was quiet at night; no traffic noises. We had two small issues but it did not negatively impact our stay: the coffee maker didn't work properly (but the kettle for hot water was fine!) so we let the staff know; as well as us not knowing how to use the heated towel rack correctly - our fault for not asking !! On the morning of our check out, our luggage was stored for us while we went to breakfast; our driver to take us to Civitavecchia was picking us up at noon so the luggage storage was appreciated. Overall, we would recommend this hotel and would consider staying again on a return visit. It's a very charming place, well located for dining and an easy walk to Santa Maria Maggiore & Roma Termini Stazione. We booked a Deluxe accommodation which was a larger room and definitely recommend that category if staying longer than a night or two; you'll enjoy the extra space.

The communication from the manager of this hotel was so great. She checked in a few days prior to our arrival via WhatsApp check-in was very quick and efficient and staff was very kind and attentive. The location is truly perfect, within walking distance to everywhere, with plenty of lovely dining options nearby and a great café just downstairs.

The good: they have good working air conditioning. The shower has good water pressure and hot water. The staff were friendly, but there is no visible office or desk - the one our floor was closed door the entire stay. We even called reception from our room and let it ring and ring and ring during their claimed service hours but no one answered - kind of sucks to not be able to contact an employee of the hotel when you need something - you are basically on your own. Bring ear plugs, the street noise even on the 3rd floor was loud and lengthy and disturbed sleep repeatedly. Overall okay for the area, I would stay here again if I had to, though I would probably look for a chain hotel instead of a \"guest house\" style hotel the next time I am in Rome.

Very nice staff! I was delayed by a whole day due to weather in the states and with a call to the hotel they kept my reservation. I also left my charger and I was able to grope one with no problem. They made sure that we knew when and how to contact them throughout our stay. Very nice service! Just around the corner from the Colosseum and trevi fountain was a nice surprise.

I always like to buy bottles of water to keep in the fridge or have some fruit however the fridge provided in the room is the smallest I've ever seen. It hangs on the wall and there's only room for 2-500ml bottles. The room certainly has room to fit a bigger fridge so you can actually put more than 2 bottles of water. Especially in a place where summers are so hot, having the ability to keep cold water available is important. Was very disappointed in the size of fridge provided on the wall

I wish I could give this place 6 stars. This is where my wife and I started our honeymoon and it was fantastic. In a very good spot between a lot of different sightseeing. Definitely closest to the Colosseum but the food and shopping around us was great too while also being a little more quiet and laid back compared to the other areas. The front desk pointed us to the food and shopping districts which were about a 30 and 20 minute walks away but honestly the food nearby was incredible and had tons of options. Room was great and on the 3rd floor. Elevator was old but so cool to see, we normally only used it for going up. Quiet and clean is all you need! Front desk clerk who helped us check in was so nice and helpful in directions and made it super convenient to store our bags for a few hours after checkout.

We were contacted before our arrival via Hoteels.com App and were able to set up an early check-in. Upon our arrival, the staff was extremely polite and helpful. After completing our check-in, he showed us the locations of the tourist attractions, our hotel location and great restaurant areas on a map, which he gave us the copy. First note that this is not a hotel it is guest house which means it isn’t staffed after the evening. This is not clear in their description. Double deluxe room wasn’t as nice as expected. Pretty dark with a window far from the bed area overlooking a non appealing courtyard. The attendant didn’t act on our request for a room change was quite curt and snappy with answers. Won’t stay here again.
