We were allotted room in old wing which was smelly. Cigarette smell was prevalent although we choose non-smoking room.

HOTEL IS LOCATED IN VERY GOOD POSITION ON MG ROAD NEXT TO THE TAJ AND OBEROI HOTELS.
THE STAFF ARE EXTREMELY HELPFUL.
I NEEDED TO COURIER A PARCEL AND ROSHINI AND FELIX WHO I THINK WAS THE DUTY MANAGER BOTH HELPED ME
GREATLY.
OUR FLOOR MANAGER ON THE SECOND FLOOR SANDIP INSURED THAT OUR ROOMS WERE CLEANED DAILY AND ALL SUPPLIES WERE TOPPED UP.
THE HOTEL HAS ALL THE FEATURES THAT A FIVE-STAR HOTEL WOULD HAVE BUT UNFORTUNATELY THIS IS AN OLD PROPERTY WITH OLD FURNITURE AND CLEANLINESS IS NOT UP TO INTERNATIONAL FIVE-STAR STANDARDS.
THIS REALLY IS A 4 STAR HOTEL OR AN 'INDIAN FIVE STAR HOTEL'.

OK STAY AT THE PARK

Hotel is located in excellent position on MG road next to the Taj and the Oberoi hotels.
All staff were very polite courteous and helpful at all times. I needed a courier to send a small parcel and Rohini in reception together with the manager Felix very helpful with this issue.
Our second floor housekeeping manager Sandip was present every morning and ensured that our room was cleaned daily and assisted with any needs.
The hotel has all the features that a 5 star hotel would have but unfortunately this is an old property with dated furniture and looks and is really an international 4star hotel or an 'Indian' 5 star hotel. The hotel needs to be refurbished in a major way for it to be called a 5star hotel.

When i enter the room found, that the i am unable to lock the door from inside, when i called the service desk they said engineering team to check & after sometimes the y replaced the whole locking system.
after that when i went to sleep i found many long hairs are fallen inside the room, then again i immediately i raised the complaint with the duty manager then, they replace the room after that my complain.

I am requesting the Staff to check and do fix all the problem & try to get effort where Guest should not get any complaint & his stay get complete without any complaint.
Overall Breakfast i enjoyed...thank you!

The property location is good, but the hotel condition is not good. The interior is very backdated and the upkeep of the place was very bad. The room was giving not such a clean feeling. I had only one night stay and the room given was stinking of smoke smell, even though I asked them to give me a non-smoking room. Second room they gave me as a suite and I thought I will just get to take a bath and sleep, but the room was above the bar and the Disco space on the ground floor. This bathroom was vibrating due to the music played on the ground floor and I had to beg the staff to change the room or I would have shifted to another hotel. I had a very busy day and wanted a clean room to sleep and relax, but finally they gave me one of the newly renovated rooms which was better but really had very mis-matched interior. Also I noticed in all the bathrooms, the WC and the posts were not clean at all. The feeling of clean was not felt. Only saving grace was the staff who were apologetic and gave me a new room to relax as I had only one night stay. Overall I am clear that this is not a well maintained hotel that I can stay again for my business trip again.

Hotel was easily accessible, within walking distance from Trinity metro station. Room and common areas were clean, albeit showing clear signs of wear and tear. Very decent buffet dinner served at the in-house Monsoon restaurant. Staff were genuinely polite and helpful, making a stay at this hotel a pleasant one.

A nice, comfortable boutique hotel

Overall, very happy with my stay. Great breakfasts, pleasant rooms. Very polite and accommodating staff. Beautiful pool was closed due to Bangalore water restrictions (I was warned when I made my reservation). Will definitely stay again, especially since the other hotels on MG Road are at least double the price.

I checked in at about 1030pm on the wednesday night. They had a huge HPE event on the thursday morning.

The banquet room was below my room and they were hammering away till about 3am in the morning.

after repeated complaints the duty manager kept telling me please sir 1/2 hour it will stop. after repeated complaints at 130am she said we will give you another room to sleep. ridiculous. who is going to pack every thing for the next morning and move to a room in the middle of the night.

they have no concern of any guest staying and the discomfort sound provides.

1st time i have stayed in any hotel where they allow banquet set up with hammering through the night.

one thing is for certain they have ensured i will be loyal to never visiting their property again.

And to top it all off the same manager was smiling at the time of check out.

Absolutely loved the hotel. Location was superb. Staff were absolutely lovely. Had a bit of an issue with the ever flushing toilet (every 2 minutes) As we were only there For two nights, it seemed silly to change rooms (this was very kindly offered) I don’t know whether it’s an every night occurrence, but there was a bar/club at the back of the building which had parties going until the small hours. It might have been good to be warned. Still a great hotel.

After seeing another room of the same category I noticed I stayed in a room which wasn’t renovated yet. The new ones are super nice, the old ones really need to be upgraded too. Nevertheless the staff was outstanding, breakfast was sumptuous and delicious and the nightclub experience on Saturday night was surprising and cool!

We needed to stay on MG Road for some specific event and The Park turned out to be an great find for a sensible price. I really cannot say enough, The staff are courteous and warm and really helpful. The rooms are a pleasure, modern and minimal so don't expect ornate elegance. The hotel is clean and fresh, the decor aesthetic and the restaurant serves good choices. Its a true design hotel, modern and very much for a savvy traveler.

The staff and service in this hotel can only be described as appalling. The lock in my room didnt work and they wanted me to change the room in the middle of the night. They finally fixed the same lock after an hour of wasting time. There is a rule in this hotel that guests of room occupants are not allowed in the room after 8pm which makes the hotel sound seedy and dirty. Overall it was just a very uncomfortable stay, M.G. road is not short of options, there is Taj Vivanta literally next door. Never coming back here.

Hotel is okay. The hospitality is great. View from the room was not great, it was of a messy garage int the bylane. The locals seem to like weekend bar scene, but the bollywood night means more and more of just Punjabi music! But the gym and the spa need improvement. They are both underground, a walk through a narrow passage and look cramped and suffocating.

Rude Staff and Grimy Rooms

This was the worst hotel experience of my life. Even after I expressed my concerns to management and Orbitz contacted them on my behalf, they were completely unapologetic. When I checked in, the staff member denied that I had booked a Deluxe Balcony room but offered to 'give me a free upgrade to one anyway'. After ordering a drink with specks floating in it last night, it was clear I should not touch the breakfast. My colleague, who was also staying there confirmed that the breakfast was underwhelming. My room had dust in the vents and the shower was nothing short of disgusting. There were scuffs all over the walls (and from the exterminator who was there when I woke up, I assume there are also bugs in the hotel). There was loud music playing from the disco downstairs until 1:30 or 2AM. I spoke to Orbitz last night and talked to a very nice man who said because the hotel was unhygienic it should be possible to get me a refund. Not wanting to create a more uncomfortable night, I decided to wait until the morning to check out at which time I contacted Orbitz again. No one seemed to take into consideration that the hotel was unhygienic and certainly not what the photos and reviews on Orbitz.com depicted. After the staff refused to refund the two additional nights I'd paid, I left and checked in to the Hyatt nearby. I've stayed at 3 star hotels before. This one deserves 2 at best.

Though the hotel staff is very good and it is well located, the condition of wooden flooring is extremely poor. It feels like you're walking in an ancient building which is poorly maintained.. room was quite small, and tge shower, door handles, everything was extremely hard to use. Don't believe the five star rating !

This hotel is listed as five star, and that is completely untrue! This run down pig with lipstick is more like an older three or two star hotel. Granted it has some luxury amenities, but they don't make up for old, worn facilities, dirty pool, broken elevator, loud club music blasting at night, the dungeon-like fitness rooms, lack of international TV stations, lack of HD TV. I left early even though I had paid for a longer stay. Avoid.
