Staff basically make the perfect stay and cocktails.

For dining , as a foodie, a bit repetitive hope can improve on the menu but executive chef make the best effort to cook upon request . Hope can get more options to eat A lart carte dining and more Asian food.

Best effort by Shi Au from Just Grill for 2 private dinners held in pier and one at beach site.

Sand Bar manager is one of the best too accomomodating to need and caring staff.

Housekeeping only need to improve a bit as not fully clean (throw rubbish and aggressive progressive knocking on doors ) need to train the staff.

Enjoyed the stay overall .

The location is great and the marine life is breathtaking. Oblu are doing a great job protecting the marine life growing new coral gardens and educating guests on sustainable tourism. This was all why we chose the hotel but what really stood out for us was the staff and the Maldivian hospitality. Nothing was too much trouble and all requests were met with a smile. We had a great stay - thanks to everyone who made it so special.

We stayed in the Honeymoon Water Villa with Pool, and it was absolutely perfect! The villa was stunning. spacious, clean, and incredibly romantic, with breathtaking ocean views and a private pool overlooking the sea.

The staff were amazing and went above and beyond to make our honeymoon special, from the warm welcome to the thoughtful touches throughout our stay. The food and drinks were excellent, with plenty of variety and top-quality options. Our butler was great, very friendly and easy to communicate with!

I recently stayed at OBLU by Sangeli for my honeymoon, and I can confidently say it was the best experience I’ve ever had at any resort.

From the moment we arrived, the level of care and attention to detail was exceptional. Safwan at The Courtyard went above and beyond every single time we dined there. He always ensured we had everything we needed, checked in to make sure we were happy with the cuisine, and even surprised us with thoughtful gifts before our departure. His personality and kindness truly elevated our stay.

Niheart gave us a wonderful introduction to the resort, showing us everything it has to offer. Knowing it was our honeymoon, he organized special surprises and memorable private dinners that made our trip feel truly unique and unforgettable.

The chefs, Roni and Vijay, deserve special recognition. Every day, they personally checked in with us, ensuring we enjoyed our meals. They even prepared customized dishes based on our requests. Their talent, creativity, and hospitality were unmatched.

Our villa host, Kaiom, took incredible care of our room. He was always prompt and respectful, making sure everything was spotless. On top of that, he went the extra mile by decorating our room beautifully with surprises that made our honeymoon even more special.

As for the resort itself—it was like living in a dream. The honeymoon suite was breathtaking, with crystal-clear waters and vibrant marine life right beneath us. Snorkeling with sharks and colorful tropical fish

The Hotel is 5 stars and the snorkeling its amazing, costumer service the best!
BUT few points to be consider: for the all inclusive just 1 buffet restaurant is included and most dishes are indian (with some burgers, pizza, pasta and 2 other options usually) the other 2 a la carte restaurants the hotel charges extra.
The manager was amazing to accommodate our expectations and help to include some a lacarte visit so we could have some variation for the food.
2- make sure about your return flight from Male, the hotel doesn’t offer different time frames for the speedboat return and we ended up missing our last breakfast at the hotel because they putted us in a super early back boat which cause us frustrations. At least they could leave the island at 7:30-8am so we could have a chance to eat properly.

But all that they could do to accommodate, they did for us! Special thanks again for the manager who accommodated the food situation, Sam the waiter! And the night cleaner (room 407) he was the best and leave everything in the room soo organized!

Properties asset and the beach’s were impressive, but let’s talk about the personnel which is the most valuable component for any business and service
Mr Sheriff from Egypt gave us the most assertive introduction for an easy landing on the island and property he was very diligent and clear in all our questions
Miss Moe for Myanmar was the most professional and lovely person in the entire island she made us very confident advising on location and pleasant places in all areas where she was working, she is very kind and respectful person
Miss Sia from Uzbekistan has a natural leadership on his task she was managing all guest in a very professional manner I also saw her managing complex situation with problematic guest and she never lost the good actitud and respect she is a very good team leader
Mis Edina from Sri lanka is very professional and frankly speaker she has everything in time for all customer always with a smile
Mr Dilanka from Sri Lanka oh my friend he was wonderful sever he made my nights happy his suggestion always assertive he knows all the menu in all restaurants

This place was heaven on earth! It was the best snorkelling I’ve ever seen! The staff were all go gracious! The food had so much variety and was absolutely delicious! I would recommend that they remind guests upon arrival to not stand or touch the coral. I saw a lot of damage and dead coral - and literally witnessed people standing on coral - of course I yelled to them to get off - but they didn’t seem to understand English. I feel that telling all guests at the arrival meeting is imperative. I would LOVE to return to this resort! 10 out of 10 for sure!

Probably the best behaved and respectful environment I have vacationed in. There was an entire station for Indian food during all three meal times. The drinks selection was pretty good. I honestly though some of the reviews about this place must be fake, they were all so amazing, but I think they must all be true, because this place is EXCELLENT!

The food was delicious, beautifully presented, incredibly varied (amazing curries!). Great selection of international brand drinks, good wines, and a varied and fun cocktail menu with daily additions, equally mocktail as well as cocktail.

The service was excellent with super friendly and helpful staff.

Special mention to Michael at the bar for friendliness and fun and to Parivesh for amazing yoga lessons every morning looking out over the Indian Ocean (he taught me how to do a head stand!).

The island is like a little slice of paradise, communal areas are kept super clean and well maintained. Lots to keep everyone busy: kayak/paddle, water excursions, pool table, beach volleyball, pool table, water slide
The accommodation was lovely - we had a water villa, sitting on top of the house reef: amazing snorkelling every day just down the steps from our terrace.
The 50 min boat transfer from the airport was well organised and really comfortable.
And they have a great reef conservation programme - don't miss the Coral Reef Doctors talk and please consider adopting a turtle!
We really didn't want to leave.
We consider it really great value for money for the wonderful experience.
It met and then exceeded our expectations.
Thank you for a wonderful holiday. We'll be back if ever the opportunity arises for sure!

Our visit to Oblu select Sangeli Maldives without a doubt was the most extraordinary vacation we ever experienced. The staff was extremely friendly and restaurants and the overwater villas were amazing and our team leader MJ deserves the special thanks. My husband and I just returned from an 8-night stay at Oblu Select Sangeli for our honeymoon. Our stay was nothing short of extraordinary – we enjoyed every second!
After countless hours of research on not only places to go around the world, but also hundreds of resorts (and excel sheets comparing everything we wanted), we landed on Oblu Select Sangeli and I am so glad that we did.

We have travelled the world and enjoyed many wonderful resorts in our trips but this is definitely one of our favorite as it is a unique small resort that offers so much. The resort and grounds are really well kept and full of unique details that made it so special - from great water pressure in the rooms, good mini bar selection, great variety of food, vegetables and fruits and great linens and towels to outstanding service by all staff members.

We were 2 couples traveling and loved everything about the amenities. The staff is very helpful and always willing to help with anything you need (something customer service in America needs to learn from the Maldivians for sure). Monica, the manager took really great care of us as well as the Chef Shiva and bartender Sally during our entire stay. Any issues or request you may need, they will work to attend or accommodate your needs.

The water and views are breathtaking. We had an overwater vila with a private pool overlooking the bay and enjoyed having coffee every morning in our deck and being able to go for a swim right off the deck. There was no need to go anywhere far to see the beautiful sea life as it was right in front of us anywhere in the island. We got to see several species and even some sting rays.

Tips: Bring water shoes, lots of sunscreen, Electrolites in case you get de-hidrated, and meds you might need (in my case, Dramamine was helpful when getting the boat ride to and from resort as it might get super bumpy at

This is the second time that we have stayed in one of the Atmosphere resorts (the last being Varu). Both have been fabulous holidays with great food, great service and great accommodation. The staff are really fantastic and you feel totally relaxed within minutrs of stepping off the boat. We were extremely well looked after and the snorkling around the reef was amazing. Managed to see 5 turtles during one guided trip. Would love to go back.

The number 1 thing about this resort is the service. A huge thank you to our bar tenders Thirupathi and Charles, our waitress Leyan (I.Y.N) and to Visham who was the house keeper attending to our room every day and did our turn down service. The dinner buffets had a great variety of food and the two a la carte restaurants were delicious. We love meat and were hesitant to eat at the Simply Veg restaurant but it turned out to be the best meal there. The Elena spa massages were also great. The breakfast buffet can do with more western choices and the bar menu at the Banyan Tree bar is limited. Loved the Banyan Tree bar but thought it lacked atmosphere and didn't have any vibes. The overwater sunset villa with pool was perfect. It rained a lot so spent a lot of time in the room. Was very comfortable and stylish. A side table on the room balconies would be good to as we spent a lot of time out there and could have used a table. Will definitely recommend. Well done to all the staff you do an excellent job. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all.

The place was amazing, It was really worth it. The service was exceptional, the room had an amazing view for the sunset and all the time was clean. The reef was near to the water pool villas and also in the main beach, we could do snorkeling and saw amazing kind of fishes.
We were satisfied with everything concern with the resort.
The Dive center which we think it’s an external company was terrible, poor attention and we rented a water camera which didn’t have enough battery when we did the snorkeling trip and they didn’t solve our problem and the service was poor all the time even giving the equipment to us.
Oblu select is very nice place to spend a wonderful time. Highly recommended!

The place was amazing and will be back to the Maldives in the future.
The only things that I can mention that weren't great was the service of drinks. you have to wait a long time for them to bring them to you and most of the time the order was wrong. Also the water sports which are extra (which is fine) are SUPER expensive.
Overall we had a fantastic holiday, the pace was beautiful and the water villa with pool was amazing.

Food was terrible. Nothing special was done or accommodated for honeymooners. The water was tap, they were refilling used bottles. They barely filled the refrigerator. They only gave us 1 bag of chips for snacks. Overall horrible horrible horrible. It’s sad this is how we had to spend our honeymoon and end the trip 6 days early!

Stayed in one of the Honeymoon Water Suites between 2nd Jan and 11th Jan 2020 and the whole stay was absolutely first class from the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out. The room was finished to a very high specification and had a large private terrace and infinity pool with steps down to the Indian Ocean below right on to the reef with some fantastic snorkeling opportunities. The three restaurants were all excellent and the buffet had a different theme each night to keep things interesting. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

This resort was 10/10 on everything. From cleanliness of the resort, to service, to comfort, to food and drink selection. I just recently went with my husband for our honeymoon for 5 days and I can't say enough of how they made us feel like kings and queens. We got to experience both the beachfront villa and the overwater villa with the pool. The cleaning staff was there multiple times a day to make sure our room was free of sand, full of water, and our bed was made. The rooms were spacious and the decor made us feel like we were on an island oasis. All of our meals were delicious and fresh from the buffet and the specialty restaurants. All of our cocktails were made with love and were absolutely delicious. If I ever make it back to the Maldives, I would stay here again hands down. I HIGHLY recommend this resort to anyone for a hassle free paradise!

First day at reception let guest 8 person to walk more than 500 m. with Hotest whether to find they room by themself no staff to go no advise how to use room . But another guess who come 2 person have a car to send them.

The resterant is not allow to eat seperrate , Staff told me have to wait until 8 person before order food.

Spent 7 days and 6 nights in the Honeymoon suite for our honeymoon. We felt like we were pampered the entire weeks stay. I did not know that we would have our own butler the whole entire stay. Gave us a personal cell phone to our butlers. They were available 24/7 for us. The room was cleaned twice a day. The property was very clean and all of the staff members were extremely friendly and went out of their way to make sure our stay was memorable. The food at The Grill was 5 star hands down. The breakfast buffet was very good with great verity of foods. The bartenders were very knowledgable and did not have one bad drink on our stay. The gym was very nice and had everything you needed on hand. We highly recommend getting a massage at the spa. One of the best massages we both have ever had hands down. The ocean life around the island was beautiful. The reef did not have the best look to it but the amount of fish around the reef made up for it. We would recommend taking the turtle reef excursion to snorkel with the sea turtles. We hope to make it back in the near future. Especially after September when it becomes a 5 star resort.

lovely place to go to compared to 5 other islands its ticks all the boxes !The best thing is having a child free island too!
The staff made the holiday and Jeorge the GM was fabulous,on our last night they gave us a table in a big heart for the evening.....very special!
