I don’t want to go too negative here - but I’m tired and wasn’t able to sleep. The housekeeping staff was using their outside voices at 8AM, cleaning nearby rooms, despite my still there and posting a do not disturb sign on my door.

In stark contrast, the front desk staff were welcoming and helpful.

The room was tiny. 12x16? There was no desk to put papers and get organized. There’s no AC - not a problem this time of the year - but summer would be super uncomfortable.

Getting to my tiny room was a steep climb - three flights of narrow steps.

It says out front bike friendly but there are no bike racks.

The common area was spacious, well appointed and well lit. The dining room was likewise spacious but they don’t have a cook. They ask that you reserve a time and the food will arrive from another restaurant - warm and fresh.

The spaghetti was warm but seemed reheated. The rolls were the size of crackers. There was a breakfast menu but I didn’t bother.

Excellent small hotel. Beautiful house, good food, and nice clean rooms! I’m not sure why other reviewers didn’t like the place. Maybe they were expecting $600 rooms for $180? Some of the rooms are a bit small, but the cleanliness, food, and service are overall excellent. It’s very quiet and in a really cute village.

Lovely Blend between B&B and Hotel

I love B&Bs and my partner prefers hotels. This place was a lovely compromise of both. Quaint, friendly, and very welcoming for me and most of the amenities my partner wants.

The bed was comfortable, the meals were delicious, and the area is gorgeous.

Supper is delivered in, with a few choices. Food is good but not big portion and expensive. No other restaurants in immediate area.

Enjoyable stay.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Happy to speak English or find another staff member should could.
Lovely garden setting in a small village.
Dinner options limited and pre prepared - but nice enough . Discovered later there is another option of a restaurant nearby.
Stairs up to room narrow and steep- keep in mind.
Room small, but it is a small boutique hotel and has lovely lounges and outside decks to sit. Also village is lovely to walk around.

I have Celiac Disease and thought there was a restaurant that can cater to my needs. They said there was, upon arrival, there was a lovely young lady who was very apologetic, our room was not ready, no place to eat, suggested another auberge, and they were closed. Loved Charlovoix,but continued on to Québec City. We hope to come back in the fall and bring my own food and wine. Be well!

Auberge BeauséjourIs is located in the beautiful areas surrounding Baie St. Paul. A small, tidy, picturesque Inn, its staff is friendly and the grounds are beautifully kept. While the rooms are small, they are clean, with a comfortable bed and only minutes away from everything. I definitely recommend.

Pretty but noisy

The place looks very nice. However you can hear everything in hallway and neighbors. The train is loud too but only heard it around 10am.
There is no restaurant around except the hotel so plan accordingly. We couldn’t get in for dinner. The guy to us to eat something from the Gaz station! He said Baie St-Paul will have no place. We drove there anyway and had a great dinner at a great restaurant.

For breakfast we ate at the hotel. While this is COVID time, they gave us glasses of water With RED LIPSTICK still on it!!! It shows they don’t clean enough. Glad we only stayed 1 night.

Sofa bed was really uncomfortable your feet are higher than your head and spring off your back.

Great location, close to a free ferry ride to an Island. Breakfast was small portioned( great when youre trying to watch your weight) simple flavours. Menus & dining area were very well decorated. Location looks really nice & well kept. Although it doesn’t say it doesn’t have a microwave & fridge, most places do(would’ve been nice if it did).

The staff were friendly and professional, and tolerated my limited French. Breakfast was good, in a lovely dining area. The room was charming and comfortable, though smaller than some might expect. No A/C but a fan was provided. Traffic is light in this small town but can be heard when vehicles go over the nearby railroad tracks. I really enjoyed our stay!

Coasy little Auberge.

The bedroom was small, but was very clean and comfortable. The Auberge is walking distance from the ferry to Isle-aux-Coudres and from the Maritime museum. The staff were very nice and helpful. Would stay again.

Lovely but tried to not honor the hotels.com price

The hotel room was beautiful, clean and well kept. It really looked new and incredibly clean. The only drawback is that even though I booked it on Hotels.com at the given rate, they tried to charge me more for the room than what I booked it for. They said that they didn't have any \"economy\" rooms left and had to give me the only room left which was bigger than what I booked. This was odd since the room was quite small with just the standard items: bed, desk, dresser, bathroom and small love-seat. When I checked out and they handed me a bill for a higher amount than I reserved it for, I luckily had my hotels.com reservation on me and explained as clearly as I could that they needed to honor the agreed upon rate. Finally they did.

Quite a nice auberge

This was quite a nice auberge. The host was charming and everything was as described on the Hotels.com web site. Access to the ferry to Ile au Coudres was terrific as the aubergewas only about a half mile from the dock. The room and bed were comfortable. The food in the restaurant was excellent and a good value.

Small nice hotel.... clean and tidy!

We had a great time at Auberge Bonsejours! Obviously this is not a five star hotel.... for a auberge it's great though... our room was clean, food was great, and the owner was a very nice man.... the lady at the reception was quite a bitter woman though....but who cares?!

The hotel is located in a very small village... but you are 20 minutes away from Baie St. Paul and a 15 minutes free ferry ride away from Iles des coudres, which is a nice place to visit.

We happened to have dinner at the Petit motel of Casino Charlevoix, and we realized how nice our hotel was compared to the other places.

Our room, identified as \"superior\", was small for 3 people (one child.) After we opened the small sofa bed, it was a tight walk to the bathroom. The host was kind and helpful, and the rooms clean and recently painted. The restaurant provided decent food, at extra cost which we found to be high.

Charming country inn

Hospitable and friendly staff, pleasant grounds, this hotel is tucked away in a small country village on the St Lawrence River. The food was delicious and reasonably priced for an inn of this caliber. The only \"downside\" was no A/C and it was a hot evening (they did provide a fan). There are diverse package deals including whale watching, cycling, skiing etc or it's a fine spot for a romantic getaway.

Auberge Beausejour - fantastic neighbourhood

The hotel is extremly clean and seems to be very well kept. The service at the reception was OK. It would have been rated higher if the person greeting the guets spoke better english.
The room on the second floor was extremly clean and nicely decorated. We made a reservation trough hotels.ca for the superior room so we expected no problems whatsoever with the space within the room. The bathroom was the only area that we were absolutely dissapointed with. Very small, tiny space did not allow the use of the toilet, which was on one side too close to the wall and on the other side the space was limited by the bathtub. The mirror and the basin were out of reach for a person of an average size and height. My wife did have lots of problems when she tried to use the hair dryer. I could not imagine the size of the bathroom facility if we booked the standard room?
There is no telephone in the room, which makes the average hotel guest a little bit confusing.
The tv set was a bit outdated providing only two channels in English.
We were very happy with the restaurant and the quality of food and services provided during the breakfast and dinner times. Breakfast was not included in the price dough.
Good variety of French and local cusine dishes, a decent selection of wine as well as very reasonable prices make this restaurant worth to recommend to anyone.
The Auberge is located in a spectacular and very picturesque neighbourhood. Few hundred meters south from Auberge is a ferry that takes you to a small island on St. Laurent river.
The route along the coast is filled with the art and craft boutiques and little biusnesses offering local products like cheese, fruits and bread.
10 km from the auberge is Baie St. Paul, a little town that can satisfy every tourist wanting to visit galeries, coffee shops and restaurants.

Clean, updated and comfortable, but it is an Auberge - not a hotel, so no phone in room and no elevators. This was OK with us, though. Room was cozy with balcony, although not large. Lots of outdoor amenities: pool, tennis etc and great location near the ferry, Maritime Museum.

Un certain charme de la bâtisse, chambre très propre et très calme. Accueil très sympathique. Prix du repas du soir en table d'hôte un peu trop élevé pour la qualité. Le petit déjeuner devrait être compris dans le prix de la chambre.
