We had some difficulty in locating, and getting to our room, as it wwas in a building adjacent to the main hotel, and there was no sraff, sinage or elevator in our building to help us get to the room . Otherwise we had an excellent stay.

The whole hotel is gorgeous. Our room was beautifully decorated with a lovely view. The grounds are spectacular. The lobby was fabulous- lots of seating, live music and games to borrow. There was even a skating oval with skates to borrrow. The restaurant was lovely and the service and food excellent. We definitely want to go back!

This is the loveliest larger hotel in Charlevoix for sure! It is mid-century style with a quality yet simple elegance. Very comfortable to enjoy the outdoors and hotel public spaces as well as the extremely well appointed rooms. Both re\"Route des Saveurs\" area- a family can still enjoy a delicious evening pizza meal. The spa was our favorite activity during the cold weather- 3 separate outdoor hot/cold spas, a eucalyptus steam room and, sauna and ice bath inside- incredibly relaxing way to spend an hour or two and at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend and we plan on returning with family!staurants are top-notch but not overpriced for this

We enjoyed the atmosphere, the food and overall service. Our main disappointment was the spa. One young man was handling check in, towels, resos, there was no explanation as to how to use the facility/lockers, no tour, etc. He needed help! Hire some more staff! $172!!!

And what a charming idea to have included a station of the “ petit train du Charlevoix” right in the property! We will come back for sure!

I was on the Gare side, very interesting concept for the dorms. Cozy, very nice wood flooring, which is pretty rare for hotels. Good amenities and the farm on the facility was a nice touch. Restaurants are also very good.

Mixed review. Had to really think about this one. I did not realize our building had no elevator. We were on the lower level but had to walk up a ramp to the building and then down two flights of stairs. Also the bed was on a platform which meant that my husband who has mobility issues with neuropathy was compromised at times So pay attention to the building you want. Best part were the cattle and the outdoor patio. Would go back but we have a better idea of what we would request.

We had a great a stay at Hotel Spa, Le Germain Charlevoix. A couple things I noticed that were slightly irritating; The hotel has multiple buildings and if you are not staying in the main building there is no room service. There is a Spa Nordique with hot tubs cold plunges and saunas. This is not included in your stay and is a $60 per day fee. The spa is only open from 10am to 6pm (10-8 Fri. & Sat). Many people who stay at the hotel are skiing at the nearby (20-30min) Le Massif, us included. If you end your ski day at 3:30 (closing), get undressed and drive back to the hotel. Realistically you won't be at the spa until 4:30 at the earliest. Thus you only have an 1.5hrs to enjoy the facilities. $60 for 1.5hrs seems a little steep. Keeping the spa open until at least 8pm during the week and 10pm on weekends would make a lot more sense. A discounted rate for hotel guests would also be nice. Room options seem to be geared towards families, bunk beds etc. However the hotel doesn't offer much for kids to do, outside of the swimming pool in the summer only. The spa, for obvious reasons, does not allow kids. Rooms are unique and quite nice however there does seem to be some wear and tear starting to show. Dings and dents in the drywall, missing towel hooks, lights not working and the operable window was sticking, small & poor quality TV. Baie-Saint-Paul is beautiful & very quaint, shops close early 5 or 6pm. Make sure you make dinner reservations, not many options.

No valet. No parking upon our arrival. No bellman. Inconsistent in comparison with Toronto properties. Conference took precedent over our check-in. I was asked to wait 15 minutes until they were done helping conference goers with water and soft drink purchases. Very nice concierge. Likely won’t stay here again.

The skating rink looks stunning on a cold day, but if it’s too warm it turns into a taped off puddle. Why not make it an artificial rink to give people something to do on warmer days?

The reception staff was pleasant and helpful, especially the concierge persons. The maitre d' service at both restaurants was poor. They, and especially at the La Bercail were very slow and fussing with things the service persons should be doing rather than dealing with seating guests and generally overseeing operations. The restaurant wait staff varied in expertise. The music in both restaurants/hotel was poorly selected. It was all the same beat and somewhat discordant. It should be more varied to reflect different tastes and audiences. The live music in La Bercail was too loud, and not to my taste. English ability varied greatly - so renew your French before going. The food was excellent, and very generous portions. One should definitely do a dinner at Les Labours, where the food is inventive, beautifully presented, fresh (partly from their garden)and full-flavored. The bed was very comfortable. Toiletries were nice. Overall very clean room, and generally very clean throughout the property. Overall a lovely experience.

It was my second time staying at this hotel. Very nice resort with a SPA on-site. Massages are a bit pricy, but the thermal experience is affordable and very enjoyable. Our rooms was great, with a large bathroom and a comfortable bed. Very good food on-site as well. Lots of Tesla charging stations as well (not sure about other stations).
The one thing I would like to see improve at this hotel is the gym (both the size and the equipment). Everything else is perfect, but the gym is terribly disappointing.

We got there at 12:30 pm, gave our name and only received our room at 4:30pm. Fridge was not cold. Bathroom lock and handle was loose. Heat in bathroom did not work. Light bulb was loose on lamp atthe side of the bed.

We stayed there before a ski day at Le Massif, it was perfect and only 20 minutes drive from the slopes. The best part was that the room had 1 double bed and 2 bunks, which is perfect for family.

Très bel hotel, très chic, très propre mais les chambres sont petites.
Coté négatif pour les voitures électriques, il n'y a qu'une seule borne de recharge pour non-Tesla sans aucun contrôle de la part de l'hôtel. De tel sorte qu'une Tesla utilisait la seul borne pour tout notre séjour alors nous avons dû recharger la voiture ailleurs. Pourtant, il y a une dizaine de bornes exclusives à Tesla. Coté négatif pour les voitures électriques, il n'y a qu'une seule borne de recharge pour non-Tesla sans aucun contrôle de la part de l'hôtel. We stayed over the week-end in Baie St-Paul at this hotel. The room was very nice and clean. It is not particularly big, but it's perfect for a couple. If we were to go back, we would select a room with a view though.
In terms of restaurant, we had a lovely dinner at Labours. The food was incredible and the ambiance great, However, I must admit that we were slightly disappointed with the brunch (pastries were not really fresh)

Stayed for one night to ski at Le Massif. The 3 bed dormitory layout was spacious and perfect for my little family, especially the bathroom with double sinks, and separately enclosed toilet and shower.

Very nice hotel with good restaurants and cool concept of farm animals that you can visit whenever. Pain points of my visit were the room footage for the price, missing sitting area, random fire alarm where we were the only ones waiting outside and no employees came.

This was a very nice location with a clean, modern room that was walking distance to town. The gardens and farm on site were also very pleasant to visit. We also had excellent pizzas in the on-site restaurant.
