The Milestone Inn is a comfortable, clean and well appointed motel room. The motel uses a contactless checkin with no staff on site which was a new experience for us.
There was a local phone problem which rendered contacting the inn difficult prior to the stay.
Rinal from the motel contacted us the day prior to the stay and walked us through the check in process and took care of any final questions including providing us with and alternate contact number.

It was a quiet clean property good price however no hot water they claimed the boiler just broke before pir arrival & there were spiders & bugs in our room. I was offered half off my stay & still haven't received anything not even a receipt that i asked to be sent to me. Staff that I meant was very nice & did apologize

Milestone Inn as a \"turn-key\" motel was certainly adequate for our brief stay (2 nights). It was clean and accessible to visiting family in Washington, CT. Only one glitch was the room had not been cleaned on Sunday - we called and our only request was not for the beds to be made or towels replenished, but for more coffee for this morning! We called the (203) # and a nice gal arrived promptly with coffee in hand yay! A couple of thoughts for the owners: the lighting, especially over the sink, is dim and not conducive to two 60-something year old women getting gussied up with some make-up. Also maybe some seating (like Adirondack chairs) outside might be nice to allow us to sit out and enjoy our coffee or wine. My son runs The Mayflower Inn in Washington, CT, and I am by no means comparing the two properties but just making a gentle suggestion. Also, a little basket of gift certificates to or samples from some of the local purveyors (coffee shops, restaurants, a nearby bakery, Salon Bella, etc.) might be another way that guests can leave with a favorable impression. Other than that, we were satisfied with the room and experience. Thank you.
P.S. An invoice for our stay via email would be appreciated.

I really enjoyed my stay at The Milestone Inn. It was just what I was going for! Staff were awesome and prompt and professional with their communications. I was pleasantly surprised that housekeeping took care of me each and every day. For some reason i did not expect housekeeping but it was so nice to come home to a nicely made bed with everything replenished. This experience, was a good one. Highly recommend!!

Love staying at milestone inn. I stay in 3 rooms. Room 4 and 5 beautiful clean ann cozy. Was disappointed with room 6. Wall paper peeling off the walls and long cowwebs were hanging off the ceiling. But besides that it was all good

This is a good option if you are looking for a relatively inexpensive property but the amenities are sparse. The room was relatively clean, however there was an overwhelming musty scent. There wasn't anyone onsite so if there was an issue you had to make contact via phone. It is in a good location for shopping and eating.

It worked for us

The online and phone communication was incredible; responses took 5 or less minutes. Very accommodating and friendly. The room had a musty smell, so we ran the bathroom fan most of the time. The beds were comfortable, the pillows not as much, at least for me. We were gone all of the time except for sleeping, so it worked for us. Nice breakfast restaurant right across the street, amazing French bakery just up the road.

We stayed at the Milestone because it was a more affordable option in an expensive area in Connecticut. It was actually a motor inn with separate entrances for guests. No one stays on the property, so you need to call ahead for the check in procedure. They were pleasant and prompt with any needs we had. The room was pleasant, except for a kind of musty odor when you first walked in. It was clean and had products to use, plenty of towels, a coffee maker and iron. Across the street was a diner and a few other businesses. For our purposes, the Inn worked very well.

Good Location, Room 7 however needs to be updated. Wallpaper is peeling all over the room and what looks like mold on the ceiling in the bathroom.. everything needs to be cleaned really well. The shower curtain had mold on the bottom of the curtain and the tub didnt drain. When you showered by the end of it your in a full bath.

The only bad thing I will say is in my room the water pressure in the shower was coming out so fast it was filling up the tub and creating so much air flow the curtain wouldn’t stay still to the tub

Our stay was decent and seems like it's run by some nice people. It's located in a nice town with really good restaurants and was quiet. However, my only reason for writing this review is so you are aware of what you're getting. If you like antiquated, then this your place. We were in room 4 and it's dim lit, had a swivel armchair at the desk (keep this in mind if you are on business), and the bed was way too soft. And they really need to invest in heavier shower curtains because they billow horribly.
In their defense, they did reach out to me and offered an office chair and a box of tissues, which we didn't have in the room. Despite all that, I grew up nearby and would consider staying here again.

I did not even stay because it was pitch dark out, there were only two cars in the parking lot, and the self check in felt so weird and impersonal. Room seemed run down and had a strange odor. Wallpaper was peeling off and door had no deadbolt lock. I ultimately just left and stayed somewhere else.

Just what we needed!

We were very pleased to find this hidden gem in Waterbury CT. My husband and I were in the area on business and though the Milestone doesn't offer lots of amenities, it had everything we needed. Very comfortable bed, super clean room, easy loading in and out...fridge, microwave and keurig (all of which we used) nice hot shower, lots of towels, easy contactless check in. And Waterbury is the cutest town with lots of shops, restaurants etc. all within walking distance. Oh and a great price!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Milestone. It was clean, quiet, super convenient to many shops and restaurants, and comfortable. The contactless check in was perfect and the grounds/building were immaculate and charming. I think people who complain about peeling wallpaper in a bathroom in a five star hotel have every right, however, in this sweet little place, given what you pay, that should not be something of complaint in my mind. The bathroom was clean and bright otherwise. As was the room. Everything was in working order and the beds were comfortable. For the nightly rate we got, we would stay again in a heartbeat.

We only booked the room for quick one night stay on our way to the next stop. The room was a good size & the bed was comfortable. The AC was not the greatest but was adequate when put to lowest setting. Everything was clean (with exception of the interior side of the entry door.) The decor was dated and there were areas of damage around (examples: peeling wall paper& chipped furniture,) but we only needed a place to lay our head so it was not of great concern.
Compared to hotels in the area this place was a deal. We would stay here again if we are in the area.

Near Woodbury Brewery & Mix Prime steak house, as well as the (seasonal) Dairy Delite (locally made ice cream, with non dairy options!). LOTS of breakfast options right within walking distance as well.

There was no contact check in which proved to be very easy. The room was immaculate and the bed was super comfortable. It is a small inn but I like that as it was very quiet even though it is on a main road. The building is set back enough and within walking distance of many shops. It was a very enjoyable stay.

What a surprise hidden away in Woodbury! Check in was easily handled over the phone, keeping it contactless. The room was clean and well furnished. Not your average motel experience. Quiet and tucked away from route 6. No issues with temperature controls and hot water was available almost immediately when I turned on the faucet. Great value!

My family and I needed a room to stay for the night with 2 small kids. We were arriving very late and leaving in the morning. All we wanted was someplace clean and safe and this was perfect. It’s really a small motel in Woodbury but was clean and seemed to be updated fairly recently. There was a microwave and fridge which were helpful when caring for a baby. No amenities in terms of grounds or pool etc.
