It has the basic necessities, but I was extremely displeased by the fact that upon checking out one of the staff members sent me a text message asking where the tip was. I felt like that was very disrespectful. Especially because there were not any additional services available nor rendered. The property was pretty. But the bathroom in our room was nasty the shower was full of mold, and the employee who initially checked me in was drinking a beer while on the clock. It was unprofessional in my opinion

I would recommend this as the go to place to stay in Cabo Rojo/ Playa El Combate. The owner Angel will make you feel right at home with personalized care and attention to your needs. The room was spacious and everything you need is available. We stayed in a Jr Suite that had a queen bed in 1 room and a bunk in the other with a full on the bottom. The assasability of resturants and other shops on the property is great. This was my first stay and I will continue to stay there whenever I'm in the area.

We stayed in the 2 queen bedroom. The room itself was clean and confortable. The outside balcony a plus with the hammock and the small dinning table. The problem was the hot water, it is intermittent. An awful smell came from somewhere when at the balcony. Super super close to the beach. The host friendly and helpful.

When we got to Luichy's Hotel we were met by owner and he went over everything with us for our stay. First impression was good and room was nice. Upon arrival we where told what days our room would be cleaned and linens would be changed. We stayed for a week and not once was our room cleaned or linens changed. On the 5th day I went and got more towels out of wash room so we could shower and have clean towels. On the third day we had a cockroach in our bathroom.(Thank God it had died). The Hot water in our shower and bathroom lasted about 45 seconds then the shower and sink would go cold. This was the same the entire time we stayed. Overall I give this a 1 star because I cannot choose anything less. We left Luichy's 2 days early and stayed in a different hotel which was the best decision we made the entire time we stayed in Puerto Rico. Disappointed is the best way to describe our stay at Luichy's.

The room was comfortable and clean. And the AC worked well. We appreciated the mini fridge for our drinks and snacks. The pool area was tidy and clean. It was nice having designated parking, although it would have been nice to have the $5/day fee included in the price and not an extra cost. We really loved the beaches, but overall the area was not a great fit for us, being a bit too busy and loud.

I had a little mosquito problem and they came in and took care of it with in a blink of an eye! It is steps from a beautiful beach and some of the best restaurants in Puerto Rico! It’s a great place to spend a couple of days and enjoy the beach. My only complaint is that the WIFI service was nonexistent. I strongly recommend that they get this fixed in the near future.

I didnt like that the you can only get about 3 minutes of hot water out the shower and that all the restaurants in the area seem to run out of food quite early. Other than that the owner and staff are great people, very friendly and the room itself is nicely set up.

The hotel is very nice and right in front of the beach. The room is spacious, everything is new and very well set up, with a modern TV and great cold air conditioning. The only small downside was that I could hear some noise from the family with little kids in the next room, but overall it was a great experience. I would definitely come back.

What a beautiful experience me and my wife had visiting this property. We’ve been to Puerto Rico several times and have stayed at several high-end hotels. This place takes the cake! Definitely felt spoiled the entire time. The owner is on premises, making sure everything is ran exactly the way it needs to be. He gave great lunch and dinner recommendations and the property is located directly across a bustling beach that’s extremely lively. No issues with noise after sundown. Easy parking. Where do I start because it was all great! The room was perfect for what we needed and comfortable for the whole family..it is right next to the beach so we got to enjoy a very peaceful and fun beach..the restaurants around it are great at Annie’s place you can dine with a beautiful view of the beach! The staff is amazing and very understandable and helpful. Anytime I’m in this area it will be my go to hotel, i definitely recommend to everyone.

Was an amazing experience super friendly and service was excellent, everything clean, all restaurants walk distance and the beach is also walk distance, they have parking which is a plus. Rooms was big 2 rooms and kitchen with all the amenities for you to use it. I fully recommend it and we will definitely be back again

Luichy’s Seaside Hotel was perfect for our family vacation. The owner Angel was fantastic to meet and is a very lovely person. He clearly takes pride in his establishment, working hard to make sure not one detail is overlooked and that your stay is comfortable. With two kids aged 8 & 16 we had no problem finding entertainment for both within 30 min drive. If we needed a rest Combate beach was a short 1 min walk away with great atmosphere, music, tents for shade, trails for walking, and calm water for the kids. The local people were more than welcoming and kind no matter where we were. Parking right on site huge plus! Restaurants, parks, and grocery all within walking distance. Definitely recommend!

The property was as advertised. It was clean with modern finishes. A quick two minute walk from the beautiful Combate beach and multiple dining options. Our kids enjoyed the pool. Being able to park inside the gated property was nice since the area gets very busy in the evenings and on weekends.
The area is pretty pretty busy and loud so if you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs. We felt safe and enjoyed our stay.

Come to Combate if you’re looking for a peaceful and quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle of San Juan. Luichy’s was clean, comfortable, and convenient. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The locals are very kind. Beautiful beaches, great food, great scenery. For my fellow birdwatchers - Luichys is only ten minutes from the Cabo Rojo Salt Flats. An ABSOLUTE must see for serious birders.
Make sure you come on the weekend when everything is open. If I ever make it back to PR / Cabo Rojo, I will certainly be staying at Luichys seaside resort.

Great stay! Wish there were more opened late restaurants around but that’s not the hotels fault. We got Room #8 I believe and it is the only room with full ocean view. Super beautiful. The only downside was that the wifi didn’t reach our room so we had to go closer to the lobby and work from the outside

The room was fantastic, very comfy, updated, smelled very clean and fresh, the A/C was very good and the beds incredibly comfortable.
The room includes something like a balcony where you have chairs and a table, coffee, a hammock and the most important, BEACH VIEW! 😍
We didn’t have to drive anywhere since right in the same spot you have different types of restaurants. If you need to buy stuff from a marketplace there’s one 5 minutes away driving.
