The NH Lecco Pontevecchio hotel is located in Lecco, a beautiful city by the River Adda, part of the famous Lake Como. An ideal location for both enjoying the nearby city attractions, or to use as a base for exploring the nearby area on bike or foot, the hotel overlooks the river and ensures you'll have a relaxing view when you're ready to unwind after a busy day.
Minutes from the center and close to the train station and ferries to Lake Como. Close to the Grigna and Resegone Mountains, which are criss-crossed with nature trails.
In a peaceful spot by the river, near a pedestrian path for jogging and cycling We have 111 bright, spacious rooms spread over 3 floors. All of them come with new mattresses and free Wi-Fi, and some, such as the Superior and Superior with view rooms, have been completely renovated in 2018.
Many have great views over the River Adda or the Resegone Mountains. We serve a top buffet breakfast, along with meals that shine the spotlight on quality Italian cuisine.
There's also a stylish bar. For our cycling loving guests we also have a bike room and rack with cleaning facilities.
If the weather isn't fit for cycling, workout in the fully equipped gym instead. To make the most out of your stay, ask the front desk about day trips in the area, such as a panoramic tour of Lake Como, food & wine tours or canoe trips in Bellagio.

For a 4 star rated hotel it needs significant modernisation and attention to detail is needed. Amenities were very basic at best and simple adjustments like a free bottle of water in a room would be greatly appreciated by anyone staying. They also need to adjust the pricing down based on what the quality of the hotel really is.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was large with a nice bathroom, a big balcony facing the lake and the mountains. The view was peaceful, the lake was serene, and the common areas were tidy and pretty. Lecco was much less congested than Como, but if you wanted to go to Como, it was only a 35 minute drive with amazing views. I recommend this hotel.

This is the perfect place for travelers with a bit more in the budget but not trying to splurge. A great stop on the way between Switzerland and Milan too. HOWEVER BE WARNED there is no AC so if you get a room with a view of the lake/river be prepared to feel the full effects of plants in a greenhouse or a child in a hot car. You could open the door at night to help you cool off but then you’d risk yourself to bugs. Bugs are fine if you like camping but not as fine if you’re sweating to death while sleeping.

Also, it was kinda weird to turn on the lights, you had to insert your key into a little thing by the door, totally fine but I just wasn’t used to it.

Clean, efficient, corporate hotel with option of a room with a view of the river and mountain with a balcony for an extra cost per night. Lovely choice of breakfast options. Hotel restaurant menu didn't look very inspiring so we didn't bother to use it as there are so many really good restaurants in the surrounding areas. Staff friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel. The location in very good for exploring the town of Lecco itself and excellent transport links including ferry trips on the lake.

Paid for premium internet that was nearly non functional, shower gel, shampoo dispenser, coffee was empty and not served (only stayed one night), and when I mended this to the front desk his only response was that I should have called the front desk. Not exactly the response I was looking for. You have to assume that if these things weren’t serviced, how clear were the sheets?

Nice room with a view of the river and the food was good (special shout out to the waiter in the restaurant who had to manage all the tables inside and outside, and take room service orders and man the bar all by himself every night!! Amazing job!) Lecco itself is just a little town so if you're looking for oodles and oodles to see and do, this probably isn't the place for you! It's got very picturesque views though.

This hotel is part of a chain and has no unique Italian features. You could be in any part of the world when staying here. However, high standards are maintained here.
I was able to check in early and the gentleman give me details of the ferry and local sights without me asking. My room was extremely large for a single room and it was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent and I particularly appreciated being able to have toast (1st time I had seen a toaster in a local hotel). They had a great choice of coffee and tea. I ate in the restaurant on three occasions and the quality of the food and service was very good. I really thought it was great to see the express food area in the reception and the access to flavored water.
The hotel is located in a great area and you can walk by the lake and get to the central squares within minutes.
My only criticism of this hotel is my final interaction with housekeeping. I had left the ‘do not disturb’ sign on the door when I went to breakfast. I had left some clothes and personal items out to complete my packing. As I was walking back, after breakfast at approx 9.15am, the housekeeper was accessing my room. When I pointed out the sign, she shrugged her shoulders saying ‘people leave them there and asked me what time I was leaving (in Italian)’. I really think they should be able to coordinate when people checkout in a better way and housekeeping should respect the sign at all times.

We stayed in the NH Hotel in Lecco two weeks ago as part of our honeymoon in Italy. We had been very much looking forward to it, and unfortunately were left quite disappointed by the service.
- I requested a bottle of Prosecco to be left in our room for arrival (which we would pay for)- request was completely ignored.
- Went for meal in restaurant- only one waiter running everything, very stressed. Shouting rudely at other new customers to go away for \"at least an hour\". Waited 50 minutes on food that was cold and mushy. Could not get hold of waiter to let him know as he was too busy. Ended up leaving and were charged an extortionate amount for awful food and bad service. Between the shouting and the room service phone ringing out, was horrible dining experience.
-Requested batteries for the TV remote from reception. Waited 2 hours then phoned down again- apparently the first guy had left without telling anyone we needed them. Second guy just said \"Sorry\" and hung up. Waited another hour, then ended up taking batteries out of something else as we were being completely ignored.

The Hotel and staff was very nice but when confronted with an issue i needed resolved they were not helpful. My room AC didn't work and my room was extremely hot and unconformable. I notified the front desk in the morning and when i returned later that evening i was assured the issue was fixed. Wouldn't you know, It wasn't. I had to suffer thru another evening of intense heat. I checked out the next day and the front desk manager gave me 20 euro discount for my discomfort. I asked the manager if she thought this was fair. She said \"yes\". Sorry but i thought a night free should have been the solution. 2 sleepless nights for 20 euros. Very bad.

A surprisingly modern and clean, new hotel-look on the river in Lecco. Only two problems: room thermostat is ONLY controlled by calling Reception!!!
And breakfast is $18 and worth much less. Dinner is also expensive.

Serious Complaint
No where in the hotel to eat between 10.am and 7.30pm unless you were at a convention. On arrival we were given a double room with NO disabled facilities and we were told there was no Accessible room available even though this was booked on 1st February. We had to face the prospect of my wife and I not having a bath during our stay which was to go to a Wedding!!!!! After 30 mins the receptionist rang us, guess what ???? he said he had found a room with a shower!!! This was still not an accessible room but at least we didn't smell!!!!! This room had NO safety rails in the bathroom, NO toilet seat raised and NO tea or coffee making facilities. The Hotel was had split level in Reception this meant that to get into the Restaurant my wife had to go into a very small goods lift to access the lower floor Restaurant every time. There was a slope from the street to the Reception but not any further down other than to go outside the hotel and round the road to a steep slope and enter the hotel through the back way. You knew that we needed to have a room with disabled facilities and it is your responsibility to make sure that is what we get. You failed our request miserably even though you were more than happy to take our booking. This impacted on our stay and our enjoyment over the time we were there, therefore I would be grateful if you would pass this on to higher management and I expect a clear and concise reply from a Senior Manager stating the reasons this happened.

Good size room and bathroom, very styllish. Offer an ample breakfast selection. Only problem is that their bathtubs are extremely slippery, I almost slipped and fell out of the tub. I let the front desk know and they were not concerned at all and said the none of the bathrooms have rubber matts and they do not intend to plce any! Not even a “sorry”! Also the A/C is controlled 100% from the front dedk, they determine the temperature for your room. Compare other hotels in the area.
