This is a huge and very busy hotel and is quite overwhelming especially when you're tired after a long travel day. However, they have lots of staff who immediately help you check in and explain everything to you as well as the express checkout. The room was very clean and comfortable, of a good size with lots of nice amenities. I stayed here the night before an early flight. I had sent my luggage on ahead which I was nervous about but everything was well organised and in good order. The whole experience was great, I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here overnight before leaving at the airport - very convenient location as it was easy walking distance, even with luggage. The ground floor is understandably busy, maybe even confusing if you're new to this level of efficiency, with staff directing you politely to the self- check in. As you progress upwards, the pace slows.
You helped yourself to any needed amenities (toothbrush etc) on the lower floor on the way up.
The room was spacious (by Japanese standards!), view out to the airport. Good or bad thing depending - I didn't mind.
It was quiet & I had a sound sleep.
The hotel is big, so there was quite a walk along long corridors to get to the room.
I didn't have breakfast as I had to rush. Check out was quick & smooth.
Wish all airport hotels were like this.

The best thing about this hotel is the convenience to walk from the hotel to terminal 3. The rooms feel very “modular” like a cheap cruise ship cabin. I would compare the hotel to a very big Holiday Inn Express, without the complimentary breakfast!

Clean and convenient. Minimal service : check-in and check out on yourself. Booked a room for our family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 kids - and was surprised that no bed was prepared for the kids... called to get them set up and was told I had to do it ...
Also, we could not access the fitness room to do our workout, we were told we needed to pay a supplement ... first time that I'm in an hotel putting fitness room as an amenity but being asked to pay for it...
Location is great : several restaurants and shops around and terminal 3 is connected - few min walking time

For a 3-day stopover in Japan, this was an ideal location. After exiting customs at Haneda Terminal 3, it is about a 10 minute indoor walk to the hotel. Also in the vicinity of this indoor area are turnstiles to the trains, as well as access to shuttle buses to various places.

We arrived late so the Lawsons near the hotel entrance was perfect to grab food and snacks to take back to the room. If you arrive between 11 am and 8 pm, there are many restaurant choices indoors by the hotel as well.

There is a self-service, automated laundry room at the same floor as the lobby. You could drop off and leave your clothes there, and monitor the progress on your hotel room tv.

One of the days during our stay was rainy, and the hotel had umbrellas you could borrow for free at the Cloak section. It was very useful and convenient.

The staff was also very helpful and pleasant. We had a great stay here.

Just for additional information, we flew into Terminal 3 at Haneda, but departed from Terminal 2 when our stay ended. To get to T2, you have to walk with your luggage (carts are available at the lobby) back towards T3, take an elevator down, and walk to the appropriate bay for the shuttle bus to T2. Having 2 heavy suitcases, a carry-on and a personal item was difficult, especially because the shuttle bus did not have an undercarriage compartment to load them into. You take them inside the bus with you. Space could be an issue as well.

Staff are very helpful and there are lots of them. Their English isn’t always great but it’s much better than my Japanese (😂). Reception are can be manic and it’s a really busy hotel. Vending machines and a laundry are available. Lots of choices on food in the hotel and plenty more in the buildings ground floor. Breakfast wasn’t to my liking but there’s plenty of options. It does get very busy so I’d suggest buying breakfast at check in rather than on the day. 9/10

Directly connected to Haneda Airport Terminal 3, this hotel offers seamless access without stepping out into the rain. One of its most commendable features is the efficiency of the check-in process; by utilising the KIOSK terminals, guests can bypass the lengthy queues typically found at reception. This level of convenience is arguably a significant advantage that many hotels in Europe have yet to match.

Regarding the interior, the facilities are consistently pristine and provide a highly comfortable stay. Furthermore, the inclusion of a communal bath is an exceptional highlight. For a Japanese guest such as myself, having access to such a facility is truly the most gratifying aspect of the experience.

However, there is one point that may cause slight inconvenience. For safety reasons, passengers with suitcases are restricted from using the escalators. Staff members are stationed at the entrance to direct—or rather, instruct—guests to use the lifts instead. The challenge is that there are only two lifts available; they operate quite slowly and often become congested, making entering and exiting the building time-consuming.

This is best alternative hotel when arriving or departing from haneda. We arrived and got bags and walked a short distance down the hall all indoors. Checking in was by kiosk or my front desk. We had help with the kiosk. Plenty of restaurant option on one floor down off escalator. Some very delicious fish options. Also, there is an onsen on 12 floor which was very good. Costs extra 2500 yen but with it, 4 bathing areas and steam and sauna. Plenty of locker space and free towels large and small with your fee. Recommend

It had great access to airport and that was very convenient especially with after long flight with two little kids. Also they have 24 hours convenience store on the main floor which was super helpful to get food any time we wanted for good price. Only thing is it was bit hard to find the way after exit of arrival and little bit of walk so just be mindful of that.

Has some issues on check in as it took a long time for my booking to be found. The family room was great for my family of 4 with lots of space and comfortable beds. Room was clean and in great condition.

Location was great. Took about 10 minutes to walk to Terminal 3 via the connected walkway. Lots of eating options right outside the hotel in the adjoining Haneda Airport Garden and even a Lawson.

Definitely a good option if you are catching a very early morning flight like I had to. The bathroom is very small and would be annoying if staying for more than 1 night.

The hotel itself is very nice, but unfortunately the service level was extremely poor.

We waited 3 hours and 45 minutes for our room, despite a confirmed check-in time of 3:00 PM. Traveling with kids made the long wait especially difficult, and there was no prioritization or accommodation offered for families.

When we were finally assigned a room, it was the wrong room, and it had not been properly cleaned. There was also a noticeable musty smell, which made the experience even more disappointing.

Overall, the staff’s level of service and attention to detail was not acceptable for an airport hotel. Based on this experience, I would not recommend staying here.

This is a large, busy hotel focused on people who need to get to Haneda airport. From that perspective it is excellent. The walk is convenient and despite some mobility issues I was able to bring two heavy and two medium suitcases using a luggage cart without much difficulty. There is a Japanese food court and vending machines for drinks. I did not find take out, however. The room was just large enough for the packed luggage cart. It was clean and very functional. Overall this was a great choice to reduce stress for my early flight. Staff can be busy but was very helpful on check in and when I called for directions to the airport walkway. The walkway entry is a bit confusing since the sign pointing the way to Haneda rather than the shopping area is posted only after you know where to go, but there were many people around to ask.

The rooms and bathrooms are small and cramped, and the service is only mediocre. Compared to other 4-5 star hotels in Japan that I've stayed in, this one only deserves about 3 stars. The only advantages are its rather grand exterior and its location near the airport, but overall the stay was quite disappointing.

I booked through Expedia and was emailed by Villa Fontaine hotel on the names for each of the five rooms. In my email, I had to let them know that I am paying for all 5 rooms. My flight was arriving last and the staff told my relatives they had to pay for their room. I was going through immigration at the airport so I couldn’t talk to the hotel until later. In the meantime, my niece paid for her room in Yen, but my son advanced the payment for all 5 rooms!
When I finally arrived at the hotel, I had a very competent staff member help me. I rec’d a cash refund for my niece’s payment and my son was credited back the payment for all 5 rooms he advanced. I used my charge card to pay for the 5 rooms after that.

Conveniently situated at terminal 3, 10 minutes walk to actual terminal where you could use the restaurant facilities if the hotels own food offerings not to your liking. Easy access to other airport terminals from terminal 3 by bus or monorail. Self-service check-in and out at hotel but staff in attendance if you have any difficulties.
