Everything about our stay was lovely - the king suite had a washer/dryer combo unit (couldn’t have been better timing during our trip), a kitchen stocked with cookware, and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was great in the morning, and our special orders were remembered from the previous day. Recommendations for local eateries and things to do, as well as the offer to make reservations for us, was unexpected and so appreciated. Overall, this was a wonderful place to stay and we would absolutely recommend it to our friends and family.

Such a wonderful B&B. Great service and a lovely room-clean, quiet, and spacious. A wonderful breakfast buffet was included. The location is right on the water and you can walk down to the beach. There is an amazing sitting room and self serve bar where you track your own purchases. Nairn reminded me a lot of Pacific Grove, CA. This B&B even had a little putting green. It was a lovely stay and priced just right.

Lovely large country house hotel right on the seashore with a path down to the oceanfront walkway. Beautiful views (a breakfast neighbor saw dolphins out in the water).

This spot is an absolute gem! Cannot say enough good things about our experience. It was perfect from beginning to end. The location is outstanding, the rooms are clean and spacious, and the breakfast they prepared and served was to die for! The manager Carol was extremely professional, super nice and overly accommodating! And Romana is such a wonderful and funny person. We enjoyed speaking with both of them so much during our stay. This was a short stop on a very long road trip around the UK for us, but this stop was by FAR one of our favorites and we are already planning our return trip in the Fall! Thank you Invernairne for making our 25th Anniversary Adventure even more spectacular and memorable! See you on the flip!

I ended up having to book the small room as it was relatively last minute, however, the room was very cozy, bed was comfortable and a good shower. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the facilities were very good. The breakfast offered in the morning was excellent and even had the added bonus of Stornoway Black Pudding. The hotel has a nice garden to relax in and is right next to the beach that you can enjoy in good weather. Will definitely be back next time in local area on business.

We were very excited to find this place last minute. It’s a very cool place, right on the water, very nice vibe.
The only downside was some staff challenges and the lack of a fire pit, which seems like a huge missed opportunity.
The first night, part of our group wanted to eat outside while most of us were inside. Rather than ask, they just kept bringing us all our dishes in to go boxes, even those of us inside.
On a subsequent night, we ordered to go but made it back in time to enjoy the pub and eat inside. Despite multiple appeals, that we eat in the pub and order drinks from their bar, they now laid it down. Food in to go boxes cannot be inside. So we had to go eat in our room.
On other occasions, the morning crew seemed a little impatient with the size of our group (9 of us) and the idea we weren’t all eating at the same time.
If you are a small group, or just a couple, you should have a nice stay here.

Cant say enough about this property. What an incredable surprise when we arrived and walked around the property and down to the ocean. The roaring fire in the loung area made for an enjoyable evening talking and sharing stories with fellow traverlers. The staff made us feel at home the minute we walked through the door. The hosts are kind and lovely. They made sure I had everything I needed. The place is a beautiful old building, which means there’s no lift — fine for me but not my big suitcase. You can also hear the other guests coming and going. All of that is made up for by the beautiful garden, walk along the beach just beyond the garden, and the lovely people who run the inn.

Wonderful Weekend at The Invernairne

Perfectly placed for beach access with a pathway through the garden. Gardens are gorgeous and well tended and the view from the bar is superb. Our bedroom and bathroom were spacious, well decorated and clean. Staff were exceptionally helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. A truly relaxing and enjoyable weekend - highly recommended.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! We fell in love with the area and the location. It was private and quiet. You are surrounded by tremendous beauty. We loved the comfortable and quaint decor along with the wonderfully attentive staff. Not to mention the breakfast was FANTASTIC, especially the Black Pudding. It was our first time tasting and it was wonderful!! Our only regret was we were not staying longer. We would rate this hotel a 10 out of 10 without a doubt!

The property’s unique location, one house up a small hill from the beach but still overlooking it and with a path down to it, is great. Furnishings in the common areas are a little worn but the overall vibe is comfortable and cozy. Dining room is very nice and up-to-date. Staff is very nice and most helpful! This was a great place to stay. The room had a wonderful view of the sea. We enjoyed sitting and visiting with other guests in the lounge. We enjoyed beverages from the honor bar and ordered a pizza delivered when we were too late to get into nearby restaurants. Breakfast buffet was great with window seats overlooking the sea. A true gem of a guest house.

This guest house is a little gem. The property was well presented through out with lots of unique and quirky decoration. The guest lounge was extremely comfortable and had a well stock bar. The host couldn't have been more helpful and really made us feel welcome. The guest house has a well kept garden area and a footpath that leads directly down to the beach. Breakfast was really nice. This guesthouse is perfect if you looking for a romantic break or a base for touring. The next time we in the area this would be my first choice for accommodation.

I was made to feel welcome from the minute I arrived. The property is in a fantastic location with plenty of free parking, but all of the features of Nairn are within walking distance. Beautiful building, my single room was spot on and I didn't tire of the stunning sea view. Lovely breakfast and a great, cosy atmosphere in the well-stocked honesty bar. It was the perfect place for my visit to the Highlands.

The first thing the owner did when we arrived with our twin five-year-old boys was escort them to the grand 'Toy Chest' near reception and give them free reign with a great variety of toys. They instantly relaxed and loved their stay, as did we. Great comfortable rooms, friendly staff and a unique bar atmosphere on our second night, made it a stay to remember. Having stayed in hotels worldwide, I think that it really is the mastery of the little things that makes a genuine difference. This place has combined that, with a 'hands-off' style that is genuinely refreshing.

Stayed here as a last minute stopover on the way to another hol, and think we've discovered a gem. Amazing location by the beach, really well maintained but with a relaxed atmosphere. No restaurant, but happy for you to order in food, which they facilitate. Breakfast was high quality. Handled COVID restrictions really effectively but in an adult way. Only 3* but would rather stay here than in 95% of the 4* hotels that I've stayed in. Spent a great evening in front for the fire. Definitely coming back for a proper stay.

The hotel is beautiful and our room had a sea view which was great. I was there as a one night stopover for the RTN2018 cycling event, there were about another 6 cyclists there all with an early start, but we were told breakfast wouldn’t be early enough for our departure and a continental breakfast would be provided. This consisted of cereal, milk two cartons of orange juice a few yoghurts coffee no tea and some fruit, not even bread or a croissant! This was quite disappointing really considering the cost of £130! A lovely hotel spoilt by breakfast or lack of it🙁
