Highly recommended for young families. The hotel provides hourly transportation from hotel to town and back, making it fuss free for families not experienced to drive in the snow. The hotel also provides transfer from the nearest Kutchan train station to hotel. The 3hrs train journey from New Chitose airport to Kutchan station is manageable. The view from the room is picturesque every morning. The low ratio sharing of washer + dryer per block of room is life changing!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The breakfast provided at Blackwood Grill was very good, shuttle accessibility to the mountain was very easy with schedule provided by front desk, rooms were clean, and staff was very kind and accommodating. I would recommend to anyone visiting Hirafu.

Great hotel, okay wifi and location

things I loved about Miru Niseko:
+ hotel shuttle and Hirafu free shuttle to the gondolas right in front of the lobby
+ arranged train station pickups & welcome center drop off
+ ski gear storage room
+ indoor and outdoor onsen (tattoos allowed)
+ free (shared) washer/dryer
+ sizable room with dishware and cutlery
+ quick response when calling front desk
+ Slippers for the room and separate slippers for the room
+ actual king bed in western style room
+ replenish the complimentary water bottles

Other things not that could’ve been better:
-WiFi was okay, sometimes it didn’t work well (QR code in pamphlet didn’t work)
-slippers didn’t feet larger feet
- food options are extremely limited, remote location, restaurant on site required advance reservation, no kitchenette
- The timing options for the shuttle were not as frequent as I would’ve liked. Like a shuttle would go to one place randomly during the day but then you could be stuck there for a few hours.

Biggest downside for us was the lack of food options since it required us to go back into town. I’m sure it’s fine for many people, but we were usually so tired after riding that it would be nice to just walk outside or make a meal in the room.

I only stayed for 1 night and wish I booked longer! The staff was very kind and understanding when we arrived late to check-in. The property was nicely maintained, all public areas new and clean, and the public bath amazing! We slept soundly in comfortable beds and enjoyed a spacious and clean bathroom. 10/10!

Everything was great and exceeded my expectations. Travelled with my family and we were pleasantly surprised by how spacious, comfortable, spotless and stylish in its own minimalist yet premium way. Nice view of Mt Yotei from the room and breakfast was good too. Room itself is pretty complete with amenities including microwave. Staff speaks English very well

If you are visiting Kotchan or Niseko and want to stay away from larger resorts then this is the place. Hotel has excellent views of Mt. Yotei, spacious rooms, and wonderful staff. This was our second visit and we were treated as family. We hope to return next year and would rate this hotel above excellent!

Good Place to Stay for short trips.

Very nice rooms, but if your staying long the spot lights are too bright and not dim-able and one switch turns them all on so sitting on the sofa you will get uncomfortable.
We stayed on the ground floor, the vibrations from the upper floor will be felt in G/F with a lot of heavy foot steps.

My stay at Nest in the Trees was perfect!

From the second I booked the hotel online, their great customer service started - checking my requirements, providing guidance with travel from the hotel and making all relevant bookings for transport and activities even before I stepped into the country.

The hotel is stylish, welcoming, comfortable and has all the amenities you’ll need.

You are provided with traditional Japanese robes to use whilst in the hotel, which we comfortably used.

The breakfast buffet was a delightful start to the day and if you get a chance to eat in their restaurant - the black grill was one of our culinary favourites, whilst all dining staff provided the best of services.

The rooms are very large and comfortable; with everything provided that you’ll need - including a fridge and microwave!

The hot Japanese spring spa is also a must whilst staying at the hotel - fabulous setting and a great way to unwind and relax those tired bones after some amazing days exploring the slopes.

They have a regular shuttle bus ran by the most friendliest, helpful drivers you’ll come across. Helping with luggage and skis/boards and arriving on time at the regular stops - hotel, town, welcome centre, gondola.

I would like to say a special thanks to Olivia who helped me plan a long solo journey and made my experience painless and organised.

I hope one day to get a chance to return to Japan and would definitely recommend The Nest at the Trees.

they don't do daily housekeeping, only help throw away rubbish and replenish amenities. they also don't change towels or bedsheets though we are fine as it helps the environment but they should give options in case of accidental spills or whatsoever. the location is a bit far from hirafu though there is shuttle but not as convenient as other hotels near hirafu area

Hotel conditions are great as it's newly built in 2018. Staff are also friendly but under resourced. Simple expectations such as availability of laundry bags, booking for restaurants, etc. are not met. Also, the hotel is in a relatively less convenient location, which is sub optimal for families with younger kids.

Great stay

Wonderful stay at Niseko. Quiet with not too many rooms. Room is huge, clean and comfortable. Comes with netflix too. Onsen was great. Variety for breakfast was sufficient.
Note. Building does not come with lift. But its only a 2 storey building.

We stayed altogether 5 days here, in Autumn. We extended our stay because it was so comfortable in our Japanese style apartment. Breakfast is good, the staff is friendly and all speak English well and the hotel is in a great location from which to explore the wider area. Great value and highly recommended.

I’m a picky person but will give 5 stars on this hotel.
The only thing was that I wanted to see more variety of choice for breakfast.

This hotel was a GEM! It provided superb views of Mount Yotei, right from our room. At night, we could even stargaze through the wide glass windows, in the comfort of our rooms. Breakfast spread was sufficient, and the dining room also provided great views of the mountains and fields. The small public bath was a huge comfort in the cold night. The staff were also very helpful, and spoke fluent English. Highly recommend a night here!

The breakfast is truly appalling.
The cleaning staff does not come every day to clean, and when they do, they barely clean.
The staff is nevertheless friendly, and since the hotel is still new, it looks really nice.

Nao and the entire Nest team really blew us away with their incredible hospitality and friendly attitudes. Every request we made was dealt with professionally promptly and with a smile! The property and rooms were stunning and the breakfast went above and beyond expectations of any hotel breakfast we've ever had before! Dinner menu was delicious and impeccably executed as well! Staff was amazing; very kind and smart.

Food was really disappointing (I ate breakfast and the Wagyu set dinner), and felt like I was at a cheap Western hotel instead of a Japanese one. I started eating breakfast out, even though it was included for free in my room.

The room is really nice and big, but has some odd drawbacks. The light switch is not near the bed like in most Japanese hotels. The bathroom is really cold because it is not insulated well and the heater doesn't reach it. The stairs are treacherous because they don't have backs to them so it is easy to stub your toes. Just a lot of little things are off given the price.

Finally, the shuttle situation is pretty unfortunate. If the hotel was amazing, it might be worth it, but it isn't quite good enough to justify the hassle of having shuttles only once an hour.

I'd stay here again if I didn't have any other options, but I'd try to avoid it.

Quiet property with a nice forest backdrop and view if Mt Yotei. Staff are friendly and helpful for anything needed (dining reservations, transport) and the onsen has an excellent view of the forest trees during winter. Rooms are nice and I like that there is smart TV for Netflix, YouTube, and Amazon Prime Video.

One thing they could improve though is the selection of breakfast as it is the same everyday.

Upon an impromptu booking thru hotels.com, I received an email in good English offering me a complimentary pick up service which I didn't require but it was nice to know we be heading somewhere speaking English is welcome.

Place is very new, design well thought out with modern amenities, a welcome change on our long road trip. After days of Japanese onsens albeit nice ones in room and hotels, a nice western style bed option, modern TV with Netflix, Nespresso machine in room is a relief.

I jumped at the Manager's offer of dinner in house at Black Wood Grill, fantastic pork loin and chicken grilled over charcoal...nice side dishes...Served by a great English speaking Japanese gentleman whom patiently presented dishes made with local produce from the surrounding regions.

We look forward to coming back and telling friends about this Nest!

Oh and I almost forgot, nice onsen outdoor and indoor here too!

Nest at the Trees, Niseko.

We stayed here in first week of Feb 2018; this was a brand new hotel, open only a couple of weeks, so condition of the hotel was excellent. Rooms were more junior suites, with separate sitting and sleeping areas. There is a large TV in the room with links to Netflix; there is free wifi. The sleeping area is a raised dais with mattresses on the floor, so be aware you need to be mobile enough to get in and out of bed. Ensuite bathroom entirely new and clean. We had a \"mountain view\" room, this looked directly onto Mt Yotei, (a mini Mt Fuji) so was as iconically Japanese as you could wish for. Staff were supremely helpful. The hotel is out of a main centre, being part way between Hirafu and Niseko Village; we didn't find anything much walkable in the vicinity apart from trees. However, there is a shuttle bus to Hirafu and back which was fine for getting to the ski lifts in the morning and going out in the evening. A taxi back from Hirafu was about £8. Breakfast was good with cooked or fresh options. Evening menu not extensive but was good quality.There is a good range of Japanese whisky in the bar - comparable with good Scottish single malt. There is an onsen (a Japanese hot bath affair involving complete lack of clothes) in the hotel which I am assured was splendid (but not my thing). Overall a very comfortable and pleasant stay.

不錯的雪場飯店

雖然有免費藍線巴士到雪場或其他點但是時間不一定有時候等半小時以上，還是得靠飯店巴士時間比較可靠。雪具是自行直接線上跟rhythm 下單後，rhythm 會來接去試裝並載回飯店。還雪具可以直接scan barcode放飯店。纜車票是自行線上下單。其他都還好。

Great value, close to Hirafu

Great place to stay only 5 mins by car to Hirafu (they even have private transfer if you don't have a car). Spacious and clean rooms and a very good breakfast. We were able to leave our luggage early before check in and enjoy the slopes. Highly recommended.

素晴らしかったです!友人家族とロッジ11に2泊しました。大人4名、5、6歳の子供3名。リビングは広く、小上がりの和室もあり子どもたちは大はしゃぎ。Kitchen道具も揃ってて綺麗で最高です。グラスが少なかったのは改善点ですが、他の食器は数も揃っていました。部屋も綺麗でそれぞれにトイレとバスタブ付き浴室があり十分な広さ。アメニティも十分です。。リビングには部屋とは別にトイレとシャワールームがありました。
