If you’re a Hilton member, suggest the breakfast for your stay. Definitely worth it! Love this place, everyone was so kind and wonderful. Although I visited in early April, it was quiet which was nice. The shuttle service is a bonus. It will take you to Grand Hirafu welcome center if your vibe is more happy-go-lucky. Hehehe. Thank you to the Hilton Niseko staff for the experience. Can’t wait to come back with more powder.

Fantastic hotel and resort. The staff were incredibly polite and always went out of their way to help or assist in any way they could, which really made the stay feel welcoming and effortless.

The room was a great size, comfortable, and cleaned promptly every morning. It was always nice returning after a full day on the mountain to a fresh and tidy room ready to relax in.

Addressing some of the negative reviews
yes, the bathrooms are on the smaller side, but ours was clean, well maintained, and had no unpleasant smells whatsoever. The bathroom size is a very small trade off considering the outstanding onsen facilities available at the hotel.

This is Japan! embrace the culture. The onsen facilities are absolutely fantastic, featuring spacious bathing areas, excellent showers and grooming facilities, and a sensational view from the outdoor onsen that makes it the perfect way to recover after a day snowboarding.

All in all, a great hotel and resort that offered everything needed for an excellent stay in Niseko. I would happily stay here again.

I would stay here again for the convenience of the slopes and the onsen. We are a family of 5 and paid ~ ¥550000 for 5 nights, 2A 3C (12,11 and 6), and buffet breakfast two mornings (breakfast was half price if paid during check in).
The room was big enough but the bathroom is small - thankfully, the wash basin was adjacent to the room door/opposite the bathroom. Luckily, we all enjoyed the onsen and showered there and didn’t use the room bathtub/shower at all.
We had a hired car and the hotel provided us a shovel to clear the snow around the car. The hotel also had plastic sleighs and snowball makers for us to borrow.
The village next to the hotel was nice and convenient but expensive. There is a shuttle that took us back and forth from Hilton and HIRAFU village, but since we had a car, we were also able to explore neighbouring areas quite easily.
Beds were made daily, as were replacements of yukatas. Water was also provided.

Great ski in / ski out option at Niseko Village. Many restaurant options in the hotel and at the little village close by (Niseko-Yo). It’s about a 25 minutes shuttle ride to Hirafu Village (main village with restaurants, bar, convenience store…). Large rooms perfect for a ski trip. The hotel is comfortable, but it feels a little outdated and could use some modern updates.

this is a cash grab.

1. worst of the four Niseko mountains to stay at (poorest snow quality, oldest lifts). you're not really staying on the snow when you need a bus every day.

2. staff are mostly friendly but at the cheapest import labor possible, clearly the margins here must be amazing.

3. baggage security is non existent. they'll let anyone take anything.

4. counter staffing is badly managed and you can have massive queues just to get to the buffet.

The hotel looks modern, but old inside. Worn out furniture, limited clothing storage, smelly bathroom, stained carpeting inside the room and in the hallway. 10 year old, tiny tv.
Included breakfast was offered on the 3rd floor. Do not eat there! Tasteless food with no option.
Breakfast on the 2nd floor was way better, I guess that’s for different people.
The onsen (Japanese sauna) at the hotel was a nice touch. So is the ski in/out, with storage, rental facilities. Several restaurants at the site and 3 min by foot at the Niseko village.
Overall, the hotel is nowhere near 4 star and of Hilton standard!!! Urgently in need of room renovation!!! Would definitely not recommend to stay, especially for $400 a night!

At first when we enter the room, the arrangment of the bed is different from the shown photos when we booked the room.
We booked for 4 person, but the room hotel provided is for 3 persons instead with additional bed located infront of TV w/o proper condition as photos provided.

The location is perfect for ski season with the gondola attached to the hotel (it wasn’t up due to warmer weather) but everything in the hotel from the staff, dinner, breakfast was top notch. One cannot ask for a better ski in/ski out location. Hotel also has ski/boot valet which was an added bonus. Hotel was clean friendly staff. Room cleaners were quick and efficient. Hotel was great, the little store down near the lobby is relatively expensive though. And there's not much except restaurants nearby for snack food.

Not much to do around the area - most of the people around I noticed were getting the shuttle to Grand Hirafu village. Will definitely not stay here in the future and not recommend.

The hotel is on the ski school and slopes. Very convenient in that regard but it's village is limited and to go to Hiraful lively village, it takes 30 minutes by a bus that runs every 30 minutes. The hotel itself is very dated with old doors and rooms and rugs. I'd give it 3 to 4 stars. Definitely not 5 and not worth $600 a night.

Overall, while the location was fantastic for skiing, this hotel could have done so much better in terms of service, dining, and overall value for money.
We loved that this was a ski-in, ski-out resort, which made hitting the slopes super convenient. The hotel also provided a ski valet for storing skis and boots, which was a nice touch.

However, for the price we paid, the overall experience was disappointing. The hotel’s restaurants were extremely expensive—we only ate at the hot pot restaurant one night, and after seeing the bill, we decided to dine in the village for the rest of our stay. Thankfully, the village offered much more reasonable prices for both lunch and dinner.

Breakfast was just okay. The fruit selection was limited to either oranges or grapefruits, and when we requested other options, they brought out lychees that were unfortunately rotten. It felt like the hotel could have put in more effort.

The staff was decent but not particularly friendly, and housekeeping only did the bare minimum. They didn’t replenish amenities unless we specifically asked, which shouldn’t be the case at a hotel charging such high rates.

We didn’t love a few things about this hotel - first, it is so big and there are so many people that it feels like you’re on a cruise ship. The restaurants in the hotel are very average to poor and there is only a little corporate village to eat at otherwise (the town is far). The hotel and room itself was a little run down. The people were very kind, though no Japanese people except for the masseuse (who was amazing!)

Super fun stay at Hilton Niseko Village. We were here to ski, and the gondola is right out the door. Food at the restaurants is very good… and make sure you pay for the breakfast because it is fantastic! Rooms are small, but comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. Onsen… awesome.

The staff will make your stay. From the moment you arrive they will go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The breakfast at the melt is to die for and i suggest to make reservations to their restaurants they are amazing. Go to Rera for delightful sushi. They also have fireworks and music at the lobby at night so you can unwind after a day on the slopes. Overall this hotel is one you would want to come back to.

If you looking to ski or snowboard in niseko, this hotel is pretty good option. Although the hotel feels old in term of style, it has everything you need, onsite Onsen, an affordable convience store in the hotel, gondola that’s right outside.

They also offer a free shuttle bus to hirafu, and that’s what I using every day for dinner.

Not to mention, they have clothing line inside of your room and give you 2 bottles of free water everyday.

The Hilton is a very reliable chain with great service and atmosphere. Lost luggage was resolved and I was wonderfully reassured by Hilton staff. The highlight was the convenient location to the ski school, lift and nearby village. The buffet breakfast is definitely worth purchasing, great breakfast variety for absolutely everyone. Convenient and reliable. Although the many restaurant choices, bookings are essential and difficult to get, even in the early snow season. You should definitely expect to spend a bit more money in Niseko and the Hilton due to the more remoteness of the location compared to other popular cities in Japan. The room gets a bit squishy with 4 travellers each with their own large suitcase. Lastly, I would highly recommend visiting the included bathhouse and outside Onsen, magical to see it snowing while enjoying a natural Onsen.

Great hotel with a nice breakfast buffet. Went during the off season so was good value and very quiet. Staff super friendly. Some facilities seem a bit dated and bathrooms are the typical Japanese plastic-y bathroom, which wasn’t expected for the Hilton. But still recommend it!

Onsen has two pools, and the outdoor pool has a great view. Was surprised there wasn’t an outdoor pool. Definitely better onsens in Hokkaido, though still nice to have the option.

I did a week of solo snowboarding and had a great time. The shuttle made getting around town very convenient. The hotel restaurants were not the best but they had plenty to choose from with even more options next door. Definitely enjoyed the fact that the lifts were literally right outside. The ski locker made it very convenient and did not cause any problems whatsoever. Thank you Hilton staff.
