The staff at Anio are amazing , very helpful and friendly . Our room was lovely overlooking the pool.
It is a good size and the bed is very comfortable. They offer a good selection for breakfast and the restaurant has very good food. We had several excellent massages at the spa . The hotel is clean. It’s easy to get to the beach or old town by taxi or grab . Overall it is a very good choice for the cost . We would stay again . My only complaints , are the bathroom lighting and there really needs to be grab bars to get in and out of the bathtub , due to several steps getting in and out the tub .
We stayed 2 weeks .

First, I have to say that this is the first time I’m writing a review about a hotel stay. We are pretty well travelled and have experienced bad to great stays. We’ve stayed at better properties but, I have to say the service we received at this property has been the best we’ve ever received! From Jazmin at breakfast and Ken at the bell stand and all of the front desk staff, all have gone above and beyond to welcome us and help us navigate our stay in Vietnam. The property itself is clean and well maintained. I will stay here again and again and would recommend this hotel to all our friends and family. There’s so much to share about our stay—-they upgraded our tickets to VIP free of charge because it was forecasted to rain and moved us to covered area without asking. They waited for us well after 1am for check in because our flight was delayed. All staff were so kind and sweet.

A quiet and calm space created with carefully curated thoughtful design touches throughtout.We loved our stay at the Anio and only wish we could have been here longer. The pool area was a highlight and provided a great way to relax.
The staff were super helpful and always on hand with recomendations for the local area. The hotel is located a few minutes from the center of Hoi An and very convenient to get to and from.

I was very happy with this hotel and would highly recommend it! The breakfast buffet was healthy and had a good variety. Staff was courteous and helpful. The hotel itself is aging but it is very well kept. The rooms, beds, linen were very clean and crisp. Room service cleaned everyday during our 4 day stay. The bathrooms are slightly dated but were super clean.
The pool area is great to hang out at and well maintained.

A Truly Memorable Stay at Anio Hoi An

Our stay at Anio was nothing short of exceptional. The hotel is spotless, the beds incredibly comfortable, and the pool—perfectly chilled, offered the ideal escape from the heat of Vietnam.

Breakfast was a daily highlight: fresh, delicious, and with a wide variety to suit every taste.

The location strikes a great balance—peacefully tucked away from the hustle of Hoi An’s centre, yet still within easy walking distance to the heart of town.

But what truly sets Anio apart is the people. The staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive, going above and beyond to make our stay seamless and memorable. From the moment we arrived to the moment they waved us off in our taxi, we felt completely cared for.

Special thanks to Flora, Ms Hue, Ms Van, Mr Dolphin, and Mr Ken—you turned a great stay into a special memory. I wouldn’t hesitate to return to Anio, and next time, I’ll be staying even longer.

The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. They went over and beyond to help us. Unfortunately the room was just a bit tired and outdated. There was mould around the shower. I notified housekeeping and they tried to clean it but couldn’t get it all off.

Pool is wonderful but the boards around the pool are all cracked and damaged and very hot to walk bare feet on. They definitely need to upgrade same.

Fabulous hotel - stayed here 3 nights with grown up family. Great service throughout. Provided us with rooms very early after overnight train journey. Lovely spacious rooms. Breakfast probably the best we have had in a month of travelling. They provide a bus service ( every couple of hours which you need to book) to get into old town. However we walked or took taxi ( very cheap - Grab bikes available but v few cars). Went out on hotel bikes - fine for a tip into town or out to paddy fields but no gears so not for serious cyclists
Overall great place - all family loved the hotel and Hoi An - yes a bit too touristy but definitely worth a visit

Anio Boutique is a very nice hotel with excellent staff, very nice rooms, a great breakfast, very nice pool and spa facilities. It is a 15 minute walk from there to old town so that is a bit inconvenient, that and the bicycles could use some servicing. Otherwise, a fantastic place and I am glad I stayed there.

A cosy hotel with nice staff. The service was non intrusive but they were always there when you needed them. The room was clean and spacious. There were a couple of pools, a spa and a small restaurant which was separate from the breakfast room. The breakfast was varied and the fresh pastries are a must. Easy access into the main area by a 10 minute cab ride.

We chose Anio because we were sold on the stock pictures online however we were disappointed at arrival to find the property and room darker and more rundown in reality. The room was comfortable and furnished with all essential amenities. The service was good overall with friendly and attentive staff. The pool was nice and adequate while the included breakfast buffet was tasty had a good variety. Considering this was a more expensive option in comparison to other similar accommodations in Hoi An, we would likely opt for a cheaper alternative that's closer to Ancient Town on our next visit.

I would absolutely stay at Anio again. The hotel is clean and new. The pool and breakfast are amazing. They have a free shuttle into the old town or to the beach. When we decided to take a grab to the old town instead it was under $2. Because it’s not right in the old town it was nice and quiet. The employees at Anio are all so helpful and kind. Snow, Dolphin, Phoebe were all especially welcoming. They also offer private transport to and from the airport for a very reasonable cost. Would absolutely recommend.

Staff were amazing at this property. Very helpful, friendly and eager to ensure you were taken care of.

From check in we had a thorough introduction to the local area and recommendations for places to visit.

Very useful was a transfer service to the main town area which is otherwise a 20 minute walk or a roughly 50k VND taxi.

Sadly a few things about the property we didn’t like. Firstly it didn’t appear well sound insulated. You could hear the maid trolleys in the corridor. And secondly, the shower setup was not ideal.

The shower was a rain head above the bath in its own cubicle. However with steps up to the bath and nothings to stop the water from splashing onto the steps you had to be very careful getting in and out. If you’re slightly infirm I would take a look at the room pictures and make an informed choice.

However the rest of the amenities in the room were very good. Particularly the air conditioning which was excellent and when used with the ceiling fan it kept the room nicely cool.

Overall I would recommend this hotel and consider staying again.

A family of 4, we enjoyed a superb stay in Hoi An at the Anio Boutique hotel. From the moment of arrival, the staff could not have been more helpful. They are so genuine in their desire to ensure your stay goes as well as possible and everyone who worked there was a real credit to the hotel.
The family room with 2 doubles was nice and spacious and the bathroom was big too.
Breakfast was a real delight with 5 banks of food from pastries, fruit, asian cusine, western cuisine and an egg chef too.
We ate at the restaurant too and can recommend the good quality and wide selection on the menu.
Pool was also good, never too busy.
Theres also a free bus service to and from Hoi An and An Bang beach. We used this a couple of times but it's a 40 dong taxi ride back so no issue if you dont want to stick to the timetable.
All in all, we could not have been happier and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a base from which to discover Hoi An and nearby areas.

We booked pre covid expecting a relaxing holiday at a nice spa hotel but when we finally made it we were so disappointed.
It was extremely NOISY! Children running up and down the hallway day and night; people shouting at each other even though they are in the same room; constant knocking on doors and shouting at family members and doors being left open setting off the alarms which were ignored! This would start any time between 5-6am and continued all day until 11-12pm.
Pool areas were full of children running around screaming and shouting.
Spa only provided massages (which were very good) but none of the other services were available (manicures, pedicures, facials etc) which we didn't find out until after we had booked in.
We know of several people who booked out early and went elsewhere because of the noise. We would have done the same but we would have lost our credits and couldn’t afford to go to another hotel. Also, we didn't know if the next hotel would have the same noise problem.
The staff were lovely and tried their hardest to make things better but it was a lost cause.

Hotel with nice design, beautiful rooms and pool area. Could use some smaller maintance work to be in a better condition. Wasn't too happy with the breakfast the first 2 days when the buffet was closed (I guess because of low occupancy) but for the last day they when they were serving buffet aggain it was fine. We got upgraded and they did a honeymoon set up for us, which was highly appreciated. Overall a good stay and I would definitely consider staying there again if visiting Hoi An.

The reservations dept marred our experience from the get-go when 2 days before the trip they sent a casual, unprofessional email to say they could not welcome us, wrongly assuming we were from the country the coronavirus was first detected. After frantic - and not inexpensive - calls to a efficient and empathetic hotels.com customer service line we got it sorted tho the recovery was still far from satisfactory. The service at the hotel itself was sincere and welcoming - a different team from the reservations team - and we were upgraded when we remarked on the musty smell of the original room. The bathroom design is flawed and the floor outside the shower/bath area ends up wet no matter how ‘gently’ you shower.

Normally I don't do reviews unless I find a place exceptional.
I would like to start by saying I had originally booked 3 nights then extended 2 nights, then extended 3 nights then another 2 nights. Hence, a total of 10 nights. That's how much we love the experience of this hotel. We normally like to stay in few hotels & had explored other options but everything is just perfect at Anio that we couldn't be bothered to risk being disappointed staying elsewhere. Everything from the look & feel & spaciousness to the quality of the room & service is excellent. The breakfast is at par with a 5 star hotel if not better as with the friendly staff and service. I had noticed that no request is too difficult & the staff are happy to do it.
All the staff from reception to restaurant staff & housekeeping are friendly & helpful. I would like to especially commend the following staff:-
Guest relations - Simon & Vin
Restaurant - David, Gin, Vin , Guan (?) & executive chef Duc Trung
The bell boy who opens the door.

The hotel is a new hotel conveniently located to the old town, beach & best of all the nearby rice paddies & spas. I highly recommended & will definitely book with Anio again. Like I said, I only write reviews for exceptional service. Thank you for a wonderful hospitable stay & service.
