I’ve stayed at Savoy Manila several times over the past few years, including before flights, and this was my first longer stay.

Unfortunately, the initial experience on 7 April fell well below expectations. There were multiple service issues, including a room temperature problem, delays in resolving a room move, and a situation where I was directed into a stairwell with no re-entry, which resulted in me exiting onto the street late at night. This was particularly concerning from a safety perspective.

That said, I do want to recognise how the hotel handled the situation afterwards.
Management followed up, acknowledged the concerns, and offered a complimentary stay. When I returned on 19 April, the experience was noticeably improved — early check-in was arranged, the room was fully prepared, and all previously reported issues had been addressed.

While the initial experience was disappointing, the recovery effort was handled professionally, and the second stay was smooth.

I would recommend the hotel, but with the expectation that service consistency should match the standard they demonstrated during the follow-up stay.

Close to Terminal 3, good food and fast foods close by, good market in Baclaran and staff are good in ordering taxis at reasonable prices to wherever you may want to go. We love this hotel travel here 2 times a year and it is our favourite and is value for money

Location is good, the price is reasonable. I am typically a loyal, Marriott, customer, however, wanted to try something a little different, especially at the price point of this hotel. The room was very small, the bed was very soft in the design of the bathroom was very peculiar. But if you just needed a place to stay for a night or two, it is certainly a good option.

Main issue with the hotel is that i booked a junior suite for 4 people. When we got there they said it inky had 1 queen bed and we would have to pay 1500 pesos for a second single bed. So my other child had to sleep on a tiny sofa. Even when i showed them the booking they said i should have known it would only sleep 2!!!

I was impressed with everything about this property. The friendliness of the staff as you walk in the door. Check in was quick. The bed was very comfortable. The room had a fridge and kettle to make coffee. It was very nice to have a smoking lounge close to my room.

There was a musty smell in most of the hotel, including my room. However, the sound was not bad considering I was across the street from the airport. The staff was lovely. Buffet was average. I had an excellent massage. So, mixed bag but ok for the price considering the proximity to the airport.

After 3 weeks moving around the Philippines and staying in 6 or 7 different hotels this one was the best by far.
Quiet air-con that actually kept the room cool. Quiet fridge. Airport view from room (always something moving to look at. Double glazing so nice and quiet. Hot water and drains that work. Close to all Newport has to offer. Helpful, friendly staff. Will definitely recommend to friends and stay there again.

When we checked into the hotel, in late afternoon, there were \"No\" towels in our room. My wife called house keeping and told them that we had \"No\" towels in our room. After an hour with \"No\" towels in our room, I called \"Housekeeping, Room Service and the Check in counter to tell them that we had \"No\" towels in our room. After an additional forty-five minutes with \"No\" towels in our room, I went to the lobby to talk to the Manger.

After fifteen additional minutes later someone brought towels to our room. Ten minutes later someone else brought additional towels to our room. And fifteen minutes someone else brought more towels to our room.

Thank you Savoy for the best accommodations. we stay here a few days before going back to states every time we went home in manila. And staying for few days we completely relaxed and recharge before taking another longer flight. The staff is very friendly, helpful, accommodating. The hotel is very clean the sauna and pool. Restaurant service good even the food. Location is very nice a lot of restaurants and shopping malls, casino, nearby, airport terminal is just around the corner. Everything is accessible. Overall l highly recommended and We will always stay here every time we go back in Manila.

We stay 3 nights and 4 days and everytime we ge had our breakfast theres an issue on us regarding wearing bedroom dresses. They call our attention about wearing bedroom slippers but we saw some other guest wearing theirs(foreigner). Is it because they are foreigners so they are exempted? we extend a day expecting to have a free breakfast We fall in line early to have our breakfast but we are surprised that our name are not included. Hope that the staff told us about it because we extend ithe same room. Overall the stay is fine but the breakfast experience is bad

This is a property where Expedia doesn't get a great room. My room was against a roadway and there was only warm water. I was called on the telephone at about 5 am after not sleeping well to start. The hotel changed my room twice after a wait of almost 3 hours but the room was barely better. I would have rather been left where i was than to wait so long to change rooms. They eventual did offer something and i was happier. Thanks Patrick

We chose the hotel for proximity to the airport. Stayed one night, the room and bathroom had a musty smell, could be from cleaning materials. I suppose it was bearable for the 1 night. The staff however were friendly and ever so helpful so kudos to them.

Right from the beginning of my visit the stay was excellent. The staff at the front desk was very helpful and checked us in as soon as it was possible. The room was nice and cool ready for our occupancy and we actually were shown to our room by a staff member dressed in traditional formal Philippine attire. The room was very comfortable beds were very nice and the view of the airport from the room was interesting as well. Overall a wonderful stay and I plan on using the Savoy in the future.
