Great stay here. I was just there, beginning of July. The trees across the street were in bloom and smelled heavenly. Looked them up, Linden trees. If you're there at that time, take notice. So beautiful!

The staff are very welcoming. The room was clean and well-appointed with a small table below the tall window. The bathroom products were plentiful in containers attached to the wall of the shower and beside the sink, including hand/body lotion. The bed and pillows were comfortable.

Even though our room faced the front of the road, traffic noise was not an issue. Our only criticism was that our room was on the main floor and unfortunately the clients above us were noisy, which we only discovered after we went to bed.

The hotel was very nice. Although there was no circulation or a fan in the bathroom. And for such a nice hotel, the shower head was very poor and they should be able to provide a slow closing toilet lid.
Otherwise a nice hotel and good location.

The booking stated breakfast was included, but breakfast is at a good price (not expensive) at a really good restaurant next to the hotel, but not included in the price.

The location was perfect for exploring Baker St. The staff was very friendly and the room clean although a little on the small side. I will note though that although we enjoyed our stay, I feel they could have offered a free breakfast instead of a $13.95 reduced rate with only three dishes to choose from. For the price you pay for a basic room I don't think that would be unreasonable. The food was fabulous in the restaurant though a little on the pricey side.

We’ve stayed at this BW multiple times and it is always very good…our room this stay was smaller than most we have stayed in and the AC unit was loud unfortunately. We mentioned it upon check out and the staff apologized said they would have maintenance look at it right away. Will continue to book with this Hotel as it is in a great location and has an amazing restaurant.

This hotel worked well for our Nelson stay. Free private parking lot just across the street made parking easy. Room was on the smaller side. The queen is more of a XL-full by state standards. We found the bedding to be comfortable and allowed us both to quickly fall asleep after being out all day. Didn't notice any noise from other guests. Lobby offers decent hot coffee. Fridge and microwave was nice for leftovers. Be sure to contact the hotel prior to your arrival if you have any mobility issues and have difficulty with stairs. There are elevators to each floor, but each floor comes to a part where there are stairs. Overall would stay again.

It was nicer than I expected for the price. Everything was really clean, even the pet room we stayed in (which typically are a bit grimy in my experience). Location was perfect for exploring Baker street and the discounted breakfast was delicious! Would stay again.

Staff was very friendly and the room was clean. Only downside for us was that we couldn’t get the window open for fresh air.

Fantastic location, room was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed our two night stay. Had breakfast at the hotel, fantastic value. Also enjoyed some late night pizza.
Free parking was a great perk, the location made everything very walkable.
Would recommend and stay again.

Was wonderful in all ways . We checked in and the staff had Banana Bread for us as restaurant was closed. Marzano Restaurant was easily the nicest restaurant I have ever seen attached to a Best Western. Pizza oven , beers on tap . Wayyyy beyond what you would expect. Great stay and would def stay again.

Drink options were from a vending machine in which half the options were out of stock.
Breakfast was a discounted coupon for only one morning out of the stay.
Housekeeping persistently knocking on the door at 9 am to ask if we would like our room tidied.

Staff was great. Parking not convenient. Entertainment system is ridiculous - requires two remotes, the ‘Described Video’ engages intermittently and remains on until the user goes into settings and disengages it, only to have it engage again, and again - ridiculous.

Parking was easy and secure. Hallway carpets very dirty. No mention of a hot tub?? Rooms nice but very small.

Got put on the main floor and at the back of the hotel facing the back of another building because we booked through Expedia. Hotel was not budy at all. Few guests actually staying here at this time.

Another customer checking in got bottled waters, when asked why we didnt, we were told because you booked through Expedia.

Could not get a dinner reservation in there restaurant even though we were staying there. Its a popular restaurant for the locals.

However we did get a early check in.

Came to Nelson for the night , looking for a hotel came in to the best western. Staff said they could do a room for Canadian. Still a lot of money for a solo traveler . Went for a walk in town looked at my hotels.com app . Found a room at best western for taxes in .Went back to reception and booked for a night . Thought it was a good deal . Until I checked on my banking and saw that $ was in USA currency.
Worked out to $ can . Feel completely ripped off as the site didn’t say USA FUNDS . Not impressed. Learn from mistakes. Will probably delete app as I feel I got .
Probably my fault.
Hotel wasn’t able to correct it as well .
Still $ lots for a shoe box for a room and a view of a brick wall .
Staff was friendly though.

This hotel is in a great area on Baker Street, close to dining and shops. We were expecting a better room for $250.00 per night. Our room was in the basement (first floor) which was very dark, with a very low ceiling, and a small window looking out onto an alley with vehicle and pedestrian traffic. We did ask if there was a different room available, but there was not. The bed was comfortable and the shower was very good. Also, the restaurant attached to the hotel was very good.

Paid for early check in
Said our room was not ready. Gave us a different room not at all what we requested. Power did not work on fridge, microwave, tv was plugged into a power bar with 6 other things . Electricity kept blowing out called front desk 4 time. Late that night offered to move us we were already i bed
Next morning at check out gave us 5000 points equivalents of 25 $ i would prefer my money back paid over 300$ for this hotel i would not recommend it.

Easy to find with dedicated parking across the street, I had a clean and spacious room, there is a lovely patio and it’s on the Main Street with lots of shops and heritage buildings. They offer breakfast at a reasonable rate in a beautiful restaurant.

The staff is amazing and is always very helpful. Been there 4 times and would go back without hesitation. The restaurant next door has amazing food and great service. Do yourself a favor and try the apple buttermilk pancakes for breakfast - 2 die 4.
