My wife and I were there two nights celebrating our 49th anniversary. The staff was very accommodating and made it special for us!
Bruce
This property is old! The parking is terrible, the spaces are very tight and there is ONE handicap for the whole hotel and it’s at the bottom of a incline, very unfriendly…as well the bathrooms have no grab bars and the bathtub is so high that getting in for an elderly person to shower is not safe.
Our room was very small, no closet, had to ask for hangers to place on coat hooks.
There is an elevator but also a lot of stairs within the hotel.
I would not recommend…also pricey for the least amenities.

Beautifully restored old hotel.
We were very impressed with the front office worker, who was very kind, told us a little about the local area, and helped us find a luggage trolley. I can't remember her name, but she was working the evening of July 1. The hotel is obviously old, but has been updated with modern conveniences. Would be nice to have more usb outlets, and a breakfast option, but maybe there isn't space for that. The parking was pretty tight, especially near the front entrance. We didn't really care for the stairs in the hallways, and people with disabilities may have a difficult time navigating the building. There is no pool on site, but we were allowed to use the pool and hot tub at a lovely property down the street.
The location is excellent, though about a 15 minute walk to the town center. There's a nice waterfront park and a mall next to the hotel, as well as a tourist street car that takes you up and down the lakefront. We would definitely stay here again as it was an excellent value, the hotel is clean and comfortable, and the staff is amazing.

Clean rooms, helpful staff made our stay very enjoyable.
Rebecca
Super friendly front desk staff. Very accommodating with my luggage. They even carried it down the stairs for me. The room was clean with comfy beds and pillows. Highly recommend this place as it has a good location to everything. Also a bonus you are able to use the pool hot tub and fitness facilities at the resort.
Emma
Staff were excellent! Room was comfortable and clean
Barbara
Clean, quiet - well except when the train went by, and comfortable. Walking distance to shops & amenities.
Connie
The staff were great, the hotel was lovely, but the bed was one of the firmest I have ever slept on in a hotel/motel. Not great if you like a lofty mattress.
Jacey
Location is great, love that you have access to the resort as well.
Richelle
The whole experience was lovely and the view was wonderful!
Virginia
The room was clean, the staff were very helpful and the parking lot was easy access.

Just an ok hotel.
There are actually 2 Prestige hotels in Nelson. The one on the water front is much nicer. I would book that one instead next time.

Parking was ok but a bit tight between vehicles and you had to get a good spot earlier in the day or walk to you destination so you wouldn’t lose a good spot. Overall our stay was very nice, clean rooms and accommodating staff. They could use a little light breakfast like muffins and fruit in the lobby as most places in town did not open until 8 or 10 for breakfast.
Carla
This place is good, but I highly suggest a room with a balcony for the extra few dollars. Otherwise it was a great place to stay!
James
So nice every time we’re there
Nola
Everything was fine, clean room, comfy beds. Staff was great.
Chris
Loved the view, the proximity to the resort ,
Rhodora
It’s by the lake. Need at least a small closet .
Lori
We enjoyed our stay, the hotel was clean & the staff very friendly. We had a ground floor room so the view of the lake was blocked by the cars, but it wasn’t a very long walk to the water.
David
Amazing as we arrived super early around 11am. Checked in and offered to call us when room was ready, but not expecting to get in till pm. Then before we left were told room was ready, so dropped gear and enjoyed a tram ride
Paul
Rooms are tiny but we had a great view of the lake! We got lucky because the other guests were quiet.
Janet
There were not many amenities. Restaurant and pool were at other location. Parking out front was tiny spaces and most vehicles took up more than one space. Room was clean, bed was good. The only staff was the front desk staff and she was pleasant. There is a train that can be a bit loud at night.

Every parking space was very tight.
I am sure some cars have been door dinged.
Even though there was an elevator, you still had to go up or down 4-5 steps to get to your room carrying luggage.
Not sure how the elderly or handicapped folks maneuver the steps.
I had a couple spots of stain of some kind on the bathroom wall. Was sort of gross.
Would never stayed there agsin.

Staff was very helpful Great location
Matthew
Room was clean and the front desk made us aware in advance about the train and crossing by the hotel. We had no problem with the resulting noise.
Craig
Nice spot and reasonably priced.
Kathleen
The property wa OK however I thought I had reserved at the Prestidge Spa location not realizing they has 2 locations.
The train went through at 2:34 AM and the tracks are inky a few feet from your room…. so not a good sleep.
I guess a lesson learned you get what you pay for…
would not stay there again. Because of the location.

I didn’t like not having any clothes hangers, hooks leave a mark. No glasses for water just mugs. A bit noisy above.
Craig

The unit itself was quite nice, clean and the view was excellent however the air conditioner is so noisy you could not run it at night. Also the hotel is right on the railways tracks and a train passed by every morning between 5:00am and 7:00am sounding its whistle.
arnold
Location with lake view great. Right next to rail line was shocking.
Jim
Property is in need of updating. Carpet in room was old. Not enough parking
Roger
Nice clean room. No amenities available.
Robert
We stayed in the overflow property. It was cheap so that is good but it's just rooms. All the amenities are in the main Hotel a few blocks away. The bed was old and I don't like carpets in hotel rooms cuz they always look dirty but the room overall was pretty good and for the price I'd stay there again
dianne
I had left something behind and they kindly sent it to me by purolator.
Paul
The view of the lake is lovely and the tram is cute. The train going by is delightful if you’re a train lover.
Richard
The room served our needs. Very close to railroad and we were awakened by a blast of the horn. Decent value for the price.
Julia
Great spot over looking the lake and close to dinning and shopping
Aya
We liked balcony room . If not choose it’s underground rooms . Train noise was loud but May long weekend was only 10pm and 7am . We woke up, no problem. Beautiful clean room. Supermarket near by. Convenient location. Helpful staff. We want to go back soon.

My stay was very nice. Staff very friendly. Don't ski, so I can not answer that question.
Rebecca
Clean and quiet room, be aware that there is a train quite literally behind the hotel that goes by any hour of night. It’s not a dealbreaker but it’s something to be aware of if you’re a light sleeper. Staff were accommodating and helpful.
Steph
The staff was great! Very friendly and accommodating.

Super nice TV , comfortable bed, and (once I figured out how to use it) the heat worked fine.

Excellent location
Michelle
From no parking - or parking lines that are too narrow to accomodate our small compact car - to an old spring mattress , not enough blankets, and a bathroom that the walls were black from dirty hands and the back of the door was filthy.... And the front door was always locked morning and night. No one told us at check in there was after hours entrance where our card would work. Staff se med annoyed when we knocked to be let in. Not to mention that the roof was being replaced and work went on throughout the weekend from 8-5pm.... It was a place to catch a short sleep but we won't be booking again .
Richard
Everything was just ok

Clean room, very kind staff, really pretty view!! Super close to town and the ski resort. A train goes by two times a day but was not super disruptive.

Check in was one of the best I have ever had . Charisse was professional, knowledgeable and valued me as a guest staying with Prestige Inn. From a quick Expedia booking to having quality service and a great stay I couldn’t be happier.
Kirsty
We visited for my partner's birthday and I requested a note that said \"Happy 30th\" and the hotel staff left a beautoful note, a box of chocolate and bottle of wine. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was spacious, clean and cozy. The Whitewater shuttle picks you up from the hotel, it was convenient and we will be staying there again.
Todd
Good place for a night for 3 people. Price was reasonable.
