This is the second time we have stayed at Home2 Suites by Hilton. This time in Grand Blanc Michigan. Room clean; however, some mildew in the shower could have been cleaned better. Breakfast had great selection and staff provided anything we asked for. The front desk and all other staff very friendly and attentive. Will book again. Overall, highly recommend.

Discovered two \"pills\" in one of the beds that my 8 year old was going to sleep in. Obviously housekeeping did not change the bedding. Discovered a plastic bag full of vape paraphernalia in the bathroom drawer. I have three children ages 8, 6, & 3 and thankful I found the bag of vape before one of the children did. The experience was extremely alarming and upsetting. Never have I experienced an issue such as this at a Home2 property!

We booked a room for three people - two adult parents and one child. Room was one king bed and sofa pull out bed. The mattress on the sofa bed was gross - it had urine stains all over it! We immediately went to front desk to show pictures of the mattress and request another room. We were told that the hotel was sold out and no other rooms were available. So we ended up with the entire family sleeping in one king sized bed. Not what we paid for. Very disappointing. Would not recommend.

Dishes left in dishwasher, no liquid hand soap, no hair conditioner and the refrigerator was broke and didn’t notice it until the following morning when transforms from the refrigerator to coolers and food wasn’t cold.😢

It is a very good option when you are visiting Flint, however the house keeping was not as good as expected, they promise to clean the room every other day, they did clean it during our 5 nights visit, we had to request clean towels and clean sheets every other day.

The evening/night staff (Theresa was great and very helpful). The morning staff & management were terrible. I was awakened at 4 AM by jumping & dancing? in the room above. When I complained the morning staff/management assured me it would not re-occur because the guests had checked out. This was a lie because the same thing happened the next morning at 4 AM.

Though a fairly new hotel the condition of it was disgusting. On arrival, 2 hours after check in time, room was not ready. Bathroom had hair in sink and shower as well as inside of towels. Feces in toilet bowl. Room smelled of dirty mop water. Brown crud in sink.
You could tell the room was not thoroughly cleaned but given a quick passover. Asked for a new room and found it in same condition.

3 Night Business Trip

Our group stayed in a suite for 3 nights while in central Michigan for business. Each suite was extremely clean upon arrival and well supplied to meet our needs. The hotel staff were friendly. The free breakfast was excellent with enough variety to meet everyone's needs in the group. The only negative thing I could say about our stay was that housekeeping was non-existent. During our stay housekeeping never checked our room. We had a lot of trash buildup and could have used clean towels, washcloths, and a bathroom refresh each day. Overall the hotel met our needs and I would stay again.

Cons: lack of housekeeping service.

Everything at the hotel is great as always with a home to home until breakfast time serving almost frozen food lady takes it back put it in the oven I'm waiting at least 12 15 minutes and then she says are you waiting for the bowl yes then she goes back to cleaning I wait five more minutes and leave on top of that she's using the dirty towel to wipe up the counters and wipe off the waffle machine

Room was gross and staff did nothing about the loud party next to us that had complaints from every room around them. My kids were kept up until 4am. Tried to speak with a manager for the whole day and he would not respond to us. Refused to refund us or give us any compensation for the disaster of a night.

This was a lovely place to stay nice clean pool and the room had a full-size fridge raider microwave and dishwasher. My only thing that I think could be improved was I have a Tesla and unfortunately, they had throttled the Tesla chargers to a slow charge so I wasn’t able to get a full charger overnight.

Everything went smooth until 2:45 AM when the room next door and 2 rooms across the hall were filled with rowdy, drunk people making a lot of very loud noise. We called the front desk and they were very receptive and came up and knocked on the door of the rooms. Unfortunately, the employee was received with rude comments and the people did not stop the noise. We had to call the front desk again at 4 AM to ask that they stop the noise next-door. We didn’t get any sleep and it was a terrible night. Not the fault of the hotel, but the very inconsiderate drunk guests staying in rooms next to us.

We stay a couple times a year and it was really nice but the last couple of visits haven't been the best. It has been dirty and there was so much noise this time we didn't get much sleep the 4 nights we stayed. Friday night was the loudest with blaring music at 3 am and it sounded like a street race in the parking lot. The staff is always so friendly though and I am comfortable there, just probably won't be staying there anymore.

Perfect for our purpose. Ally Senior Tour golf tournament.
Never used small indoor pool or fitness room. Staff were outstanding. Very friendly. Limited dining in the immediate area but a short drive to Grand Blanc for more options. Room was clean, quiet with a couch and kitchen area with a fridge, microwave, dishwasher and dishes/cutlery.

Booked room as non-refundable. Other couple staying with us contracted covid infection and couldn't come. Had Expedia reach out to Home 2 to see if we could move to cheaper room due to this event. Home 2 never bothered to answer several communications from Expedia. Got to hotel and person at desk couldn't tell us anything about this. checked in and found room which couldn't have been cleaned - one of two queen beds clearly mussed up and never remade, popcorn on floor along with empty water bottle; no body wash in dispenser in shower; bathroom floor soiled. Staff was helpful and breakfast was decent. Wouldn't hurry back

Location was nice, room was clean and comfortable.

However, breakfast was mediocre and not stocked well, unlike a past stay at this location. Family getting breakfast after us had no bowls available and limited options even when area was not busy at all and quite a bit of time left for breakfast schedule.

I love the common areas of this hotel! We've stayed here before and have enjoyed our time there borh times, especially the indoor pool that is clean, inviting, and is actually warm enough to swim in! The coffee was delicious!! The bathrooms need to be cleaned a little more thoroughly, especially the sink and the floor tile grout.

We only stayed one night. When we went to make out the pull out couch there wasn’t Ny bedding available in the room. I called the front desk and was told to come down and get it. When I asked for pillows for the bed they said they were out.

The next morning they were out of plates for breakfast.

The night staff was great.

The person in charge of the morning/afternoon hours was unnecessarily rude. If I had not been able to control myself it would have gotten very bad. I will not forget her rude seemingly racial behavior towards me.

I left my room key in my room and needed to get back inside. This was my second day.

I was told my name nor my mothers (Who is 78 years old) was not in her system as guest and I may be at the wrong hotel.

Of course I was confused at the statement.

I had no idea what was going on. I had already paid for two days and my things were in the room.

The woman was absolutely unfriendly. Just plain rude

Instead of an apology when she realized what her staff had done incorrectly I was told, mam you can leave if I did not show my drivers license and speak with a correctly to her.

I walked away to gather myself, before their mistake turned against me. I did not use any profanity or yell. It would have given this lady at the front desk a perfect reason to call the police.

After being what I feel was harassment; she asked for my address and gave me another key.

No I will not give this place a positive review.

We stayed here for a funeral for my Nana. We have 2 babies & a dog with us. We were looking for a safe, clean place for our family. We found it here! Everyone has been very kind and the lady that checked us in has been very sweet to me. We are thankful!

Benefit of the doubt

I stay here often and every other visit has been great but this time was lacking. We had to move rooms and the second was just as dirty as the first. The first room had crumbs and wrappers under every surface so it was cleaned based off of what can be seen easily. The shower wasnt clean either. The second room there were socks next to the vanity in the bathroom when we got there. So we know that not everything was cleaned. There was also an issue with the fridge not working but maintenance went above and beyond to make sure that was taken care of. One last note is that the first night we were there we only had 2 towels for 4 of us that was marked in our reservation and when we went down to get more they said they didnt have any and we said that wasnt going to work and then the guy went and found some and said we were lucky. Every other employee was great though. We will stay again and we are just hoping that this was a one time thing.

We had a great time! We were there for state powerlifting competition. The pool was great and very warm. The kids had a blast. We loved the room. We really appreciated the staff allowing us to have some breakfast a little early since we had to be at the competition super early. Thank you so much.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, Heidi Smith went above and beyond when checking us in, letting us know about amenties, and things to do! The room is very spacious, clean and comfortable. I loved having a full size fridge, and real dishes. The bathrooms are well designed and come with shampoo and soap. In a very busy area so it can get congested with traffic.
