It does not measure up to a four star hotel. The rooms badly need an upgrade, the breakfast has very little fresh food or fresh anything, the heat and, incredibly, the television stations, are controlled from the reception, the bathroom lacks essentials such as solid soap and hand lotion.

Generally a decent hotel but the breakfast they start packing away early so by 10:30 it is already half gone, even though breakfast is meant to be up to 10:30

Also in our room after cleaners had been there were still areas not fully cleaned and we found things like a toilet roll which had been left on the floor etc

Bathrooms needs to be upgraded, for basic safety; One of the floor shower tiles is broken, first day no hot water, water runs out of the shower to the rest of the bathroom making a mess. The staff did try their best to be very helpful and promised to refund us for the first night, which we are waiting for, and do appreciate.

We booked a last minute room on the first floor, we were not told that half the floor was a building site so as we came out of the lift we were greeted with taped down matting. The only thing stopping our young daughter wandering in was a roll up banner across part of the hallway as the door to the site was left open when we went to breakfast.

When I opened our curtains in our room we looked directly in to another room and there was a builder working so the curtains remained closed for the duration of our stay.

The bathroom was awful… most dated we’ve seen anywhere with a shower cubicle made up of plastic folding doors that you pulled across from old runners in the floor & ceiling. Everything was very dated, rusty & did not seem very clean.

Room itself was dated & didn’t like that the duvet didn’t have a cover, just a sheet above & below. Carpet had loose threads & generally tired.

Breakfast area OK & reasonable selection, friendly staff - literally the only positives.

Also very aggressive & my opinion, unsafe lifts - I’ve got a huge bruise on my arm trying to stop the doors from closing on me. Just glad my daughter was not with me at the time.

Would not stay again & definitely not good value for money.

Good for business trips to Milan

A great little business hotel. The rooms are small, but with very comfortable beds and the individual balcony area is a nice touch. Not many people were staying here when I visited, so it seemed very empty, but the happy hour at the bar with a free buffet of Italian snacks was very welcome. Good wifi, speedy check in and helpful staff.

World Figure Skating Championship 2018

I had a superior room. Discovered the phone didn’t work when I needed to call the front desk to say my safe wouldn’t lock. The room was too hot and I called to find out if I could change the thermostat setting. I was told thatIneeded to open the window. Fortunately, I was on the 4th floor and felt ok doing this. Felt like I didn’t get value for staying at this hotel. The staff provided me with a working phone & changed the battery to my safe. Never experienced a situation like that before.Feeling unsafe in a safe hotel.
Had the breakfast option. Food served wasn’t varied .

Awesome hotel

We stayed at this hotel for three nights while visiting Milan. The room was comfortable and clean. The bed was comfortable and we slept great. Especially enjoyed the free breakfast every morning. Included eggs bacon and plenty of coffee. We paid $70 per night which was a great price for this part of town.

Great Hotel!! Everything was new, super friendly staff and great breakfast! Even the WIFI was fast!! It's a great neighborhood! It's not by the main tourist attractions but a short ride from them. Close to the Navigle where there are plenty of bars and restaurants right by a canal. Will be coming back!!

Inexpensive hotel with decent facilities

The hotel was decent for the price we paid. The room was clean and the breakfast was good. Parking underground costs an additional 20 euros but there is parking available on the street. Our main complaint is that unless you are very careful the water from the shower will end up on the bathroom floor.

The hotel is pricey however it does not include basic things such as room service, and it is far from the centre. Breakfast is good although if it had more continental food it would be better. My bathroom door would lock me inside therefore ending up calling another adult to get me out and I found it very disturbing. The cleanliness was alright and the rooms are spacious. Staff are somewhat friendly .. As a family there were no kids facilities or activities.

Overrated hotel in my opinion. This is not a 4 star. Room is minuscule for 2 people in twin beds, decoration is slightly old and tired. The toilet and shower room is not too bed but I hate the fact that the shower has those half glass window protecting the rest of the bathroom getting wet - or in this case not protecting - so you shower worrying that you are going to get the carpet in the room all wet. Breakfast is simple but ok, nothing special. Wifi worked fine and was a plus. Area is fine if you want to rest of be closer to San Siro or the Expo area but a bit far away from the centre.

Avoid at All Costs - AC and Wifi Don't Work!

I usually consider myself pretty savvy when it comes to picking hotels. Fooled this time! The price/quality ratio looked good and location seemed ok... Until I checked in. Wifi was spotty from the get go... The brutal surprise was at night when the AC stopped working. (Just for context, it's hitting 100F during the day and 82F at night.) I thought it was specific to my room til I called the front desk and they confirmed its a system wide outage. They claimed they'd get it fixed by the next day. Day 2: AC still busted.

Very good hotel. The rooms are reasonably sized and very clean. The breakfast is also very good. The service is good too. The only minor is the location. Far from the center and the nearest Tram is about 10 minutes walk. The tram takes you to the center in about 25 minutes.

Excellent staff. Friendly, helpful and accommodating. Rooms are clean and air conditioned. Bed was on the hard side for me so not the best night's sleep. Shower pressure not great and hot water was just hot enough. Definately no need to mix cold water. Inclusive breakfast selection was very good. Free wifi. Street parking was free. There is no Hotel specific parking. Although spaces in front of the hotel filled up quickly, as the road was not a main one there was always a space to be found within a minute of the hotel which is good because finding a parking space in Milan is near impossible.

They charge you for two adults and provide towels for one only, air conditioning wasnt working and the heating was on full blast even after we request that to be turned off, the drain in the shower box was blocked, both side bedroom neighbours very noise till 3pm, the location is not good the staff not helpfull and they even charge you for water despite their air con not working. I am very disapointed and would not recommend. Stay away from this hotel.

After our italian family member intervened this was rectified but not before they stepped in.our booking was ok but felt some staff were quite rude to other members of our party.some of the facilities in the rooms were not working eg tv phone , shower , disapointing .although our room was fine.

A good base.... But.......

We visited 15/20 august the hotel lacked information at the desk, maps, visitor information. Rooms were clean and fresh bedding and towels every day which was great after all day walking.. but no tea/coffee options.. Breakfast was good but after day 3 a little repetitive. The mini bar was expensive, (lidl at the end if the road) Hotel needs more information at hand for guests and a cheaper mini bar/ bar selection..

the hotel speaks to Italian style. The lobby is open, bright, clean and stylish with a breakfast area and bar. The rooms, although a little small, are beautifully laid out in a modern functional style. The staff was very helpful with directions and suggestions. Situated about 1.5 miles from city center, convenient rail service is located 3 blocks away and is a cheap way into and around the city. The only negatives on this property would be that it is not located in the city center and has limited parking if you have an automobile.

This was a great hotel especially for the price!

The hotel was clean and had a wonderful modern interior. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were nice as well with a good size shower and a towel warming rack. There was a balcony off the room which had wooden slats that allowed you to view the city while still giving you your privacy. The best surprise of the stay was the wonderful full spread breakfast they offered free with stay. It had everything you would want, from coffee and juices to eggs and baccon, toast and cakes as well as fruits and yogarts. It was a great way to start off the day and get fueled up for our adventures in Milan!

The only 2 negatives were a lackluster front desk (long, personal calls while customer lines formed) and a scary neighborhood misrepresented by the front desk staff as \"safe.\" Note: We weren't the only guests who found themselves in frightful circumstances while walking in the hotel's neighborhood. Many strengths: Great sights within daytime walking distance. Excellent breakfast w/ friendly, competent staff. The furnishing in the lobby were fabulous.

We found this to be a lovely hotel very clean, the staff were very helpful, they gave us a map to help us find our way. They all spoke good English. The room was very clean and spacious, however the paint around the sink was peeling quite badly. The location was a little bit out the way, but there is a tram stop just around the corner which takes you to the duomo in around 10 minutes. The bar across the road was a lovely little place with very friendly staff, also the ice cream bar around the corner (musica) is a must if your staying here.

Good Milan Hotel.

This hotel is a bit out of the centre of Milan, but it's easy to get in and out on the bus and the tram. The receptionist was very helpful in explaining how to handle the cheap and regular public transport system. Our room was clean, with trendy décor, and quiet. Breakfasts were great although we didn't like the coffee provided, but this was not a problem as any sort of coffee you liked was made for you there and then, free of charge by the friendly staff.

Once the taxi driver found it and we went inside I was really surprised. I had read other reviews and did not expect too much but the hotel was clean, comfortable, modern and had everything you need for a short stay. The receptionist was friendly and more than happy to explain about travel times to Linate etc. The only reason it looses a mark is that although the shower look ed impressive it was pretty useless.

Hotel condition, stuff, comfort, cleanness and breakfast was excellent. If you are on limited budged and you wanna save money this is great value. It is very easy to get to the Duomo. Just walk 30m to the nearest bus stop take Bus #74 and get to Porta Genoa, from there it is very easy to get anywhere. I will recommend this hotel to anyone.

Upon arrival (after an 8 hour trip from Switzerland) the concierge continued a 15 minute conversation on the phone without even acknowledging me. Then he tells me that he doesn't have a room for me because there is no power in some of the hotel. I asked him if he could waive the wifi fee so that I could access my email and he begrudgingly agrees. After 30 minutes of him telling us what hotels he can send us too, he suddenly says - forget it, you can stay here. I asked for the wifi code and he says that since we were not staying there, we had to pay for it. Not to mention that the hotel is at least a 25 min walk from the main area of Navigli, not to mention to the center of Milan.

It was an ok hotel for the money. The location is not convenient to downtown Duomo area and not as close as I was told to Linate airport. It was $40. E. to get to the airport and $20E to town. We walked but it took us at least an hour.The breakfast was good.

Great hotel let down by poor breakfast

Great hotel and fantastic value for money.But it was let down by the breakfast and the waiting staff at breakfast. Juice and water were in a different room to the rest of breakfast. No signs on the croissants to tell you if they were plain, or filled. Had to approach the staff to get a cappucino, nobody came to ask or offer. No fruit available either. Still I would return there in a heartbeat especially for the price I paid per night.

I booked the hotel for 14 people on a football tour and have to say our was great value for money! The location was not the easiest too get to by public transport from Malpensa but the hotel was clean, modern and the receptionists were great. I would highly recommend staying here if you need to be near this side of Milan.

Very nice hotel. Grewat bang for the buck. A little off the beaten path but easily accessible to tourist areas by tram.

Here's an Idea Hotel Milano Watt Tredici

Thsi was a really great hotel with friendly staff, but I have two things I would like the Hotel to improve;

1. The external sign for the hotel is very very easily missed, so you can end up driving up and down the road looking for it.
2. Keep tokens for the trams as the Tabac which supposedly sells them is closed in the evening ( well it was when I was there), so I had to travel into Milano centre without paying the fare...made me feel so uneasy, I booked a taxi back to the hotel.

Hidden Gem

Me and my other half stayed at this hotel as a cheap stopover in Milan. We got quite a good deal. Finding the hotel was quite straightforward although be warned that it is a tram/metro and a bus ride away from the centre of milan.
The hotel itself doesn't look much from the outside, but is stunning on the inside, clean and modern. Breakfast was lovely too.
