Perfect stay in Milan

This hotel was wonderful. We enjoyed renting bikes and riding along the river. It was close to great restaurants. We enjoyed shopping the antiques along the river and the Prado museum. The room was comfortable and clean. The nicest thing is that we left for an early flight and they provided us with breakfast bags to take to the airport since we would be gone before the breakfast buffet. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We had some of our favorite meals in Italy in the neighborhood here. Highly recommend for a stay in Milan.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here! The front desk staff were really great and really helpful. My room was comfortable and just the right size for me. They have a great breakfast selection, and the dining area has a really great ambience. There’s a metro stop mere feet away (blue line), and there’s also a tram about a 5-minute walk away. I would gladly come back and stay here again!

Honestly loved staying at this hotel, never been to Milan before and didn’t know which area to stay and found this hotel. The area was really nice and had a metro station a few metres from the front. The room was clean and tidy. There was a mini fridge in the room that actually kept drinks cool. The only things that we would have loved in the room is a coffee machine (not essential) as we are big coffee fans and having the option would have been nice and having a safe to store valuables would have been nice as well so we didn’t have to carry those items when we went out exploring. Overall the hotel was great, staff were so friendly and helpful especially the man who were on the desk on the first night we checked in.
Overall definitely worth the cost I paid.

I had a flight out of Linate and loved that Bolivar station is across the street. More importantly, my favorite pasticceria Fontana & Fontana is nearby. Solari is a neighborhood where people live and work, not a tourist destination. I have friends there and enjoyed this hidden gem with a French name.

Lovely welcome. Nice room. A/C didn’t seem to work but temperature was at 23.5 and so a bit too warm to sleep. Staff very helpful. Told us how to get to main sights and best way to visit Lake Como. Breakfast was very nice indeed. Metro straight from airport to a minute away from the hotel.

Our stay was fantastic. The check in process was easy with no issues and the front desk staff speaks very good English. Front desk personnel are very willing to answer questions related to your stay or tourist inquires. They are also very helpful to call a taxi on your behalf. The room is a decent size and the bathroom was clean. The air conditioning worked very well. Make sure to secure your key card in the slot in the wall inside the room or your lights/air won't stay on. Breakfast was ok, just a lot of sweets. It didn't seem like there was many options close for dinner but Don Raffelle's was good. Need a taxi to get places from here. Safe area and quiet. Would stay here again.

The hotel was absolutely gorgeous and the room was lovely. The staff were very nice and at first it was an amazing experience. The breakfast was ok there was very limited choice and everything was very sweet there was no savoury options other than ham, cheese and bread. The location isn’t really near anything it took us just under an hour to walk there and 35 minutes on public transport. The day before we left we asked if they had a laundry service and if it was free, the receptionist said yes it was no added cost and we asked this twice to make sure. However the next day when checking out I was charged 94 euros for a small bag of washing!!! This absolutely ruined our last day and we were furious. This time it was a different receptionist on and he would not listen to us or even try to help he just kept telling us to pay. There was no information in the room with prices as we had already looked everywhere trying to find information on room service. This led to us having a very bad experience just to one employee letting the place down. Before this I would have definitely recommended staying here.

At first i thought I'd made a wrong choice picking this place, but it turned out it was pretty good. Comfortable room, great staff and a relaxed vibe.
The draw back for some will be location as it isn't very near the metro, but there are trams and buses. I coped even on the day there was a strike.

We spent a week in Milan, and while not central, this was a good well-priced base for exploring the city with bus stops close by. Bus/tram/metro tickets only 2 euros per 90 minutes travel (or day & multi-day tickets available) - tickets available from nearby Tabacchi. Hotel staff are welcoming and helpful. The entrance, reception areas and dining room are well-presented; our twin room was quite acceptable for the price paid but ready for refurbishment, especially the bathroom, but everything worked, was clean and the shower was hot. We found the beds very comfortable with good clean bedlinen, had daily room service (all towels changed daily which wasn't as eco-friendly as it could have been). A good fridge in the room and complimentary bottled water provided. The buffet breakfast was good. A few restaurants and supermarkets within the area.

Comfortable stay in Milan located near the Navigli area. The hotel was quiet, the room was a smaller size but comfortable and had air conditioning. There is a parking garage onsite. Due to covid, they didn’t have a breakfast buffet and instead took your breakfast order at check-in (including what time you’d like to come for breakfast writhing the time they serve) which was prepared and served at the table to minimize crowding around a buffet. Overall a nice, comfortable stay.

Overall, I would recommend this hotel. The room was very comfortable and most of the staff was nice! It's on par with a 3 star hotel. The only thing I would mention is an incident that I had. I'm Jewish, and I chose this hotel because it's not too far of a commute/walk from the Jewish area in Milan. When I mentioned to one of the receptionist that I'm Jewish, his attitude towards me changed, and he started telling me a negative encounter he has had with Jewish people in the past and that he is not fond of religious jews. It made me feel uncomfortable, because I'm a young Jewish woman from NY, and I have no idea who the people he has had an encounter with in the past, and probably have no relation to them. The hotel is located about 30 mins away by public transportation to the Duomo. There is bus stop with frequent service to the nearest metro , so it was actually more convenient than I thought.

Hotel is very clean in general. I was lucky enough to be the first guest in their recently renovated room. Small room but clean and comfortable.

Breakfast was quite good for 5 days . Staffs are helpful. Will stay here again when I visit next time :)

We often stay at this hotel as it's very close to where we need to be. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the hotel is clean. The breakfast area is also very clean and breakfast is decent.
The room was clean but in serious need of updated decor and facilities and there's always a faint smell of cigarettes in the rooms and lift. They could also do with a decent air con system.
The staff informed us that they are upgrading their systems at reception for check in/out.

decent budget hotel for a weekend

Some good places to eat within 15 to 20 mins walking distance...duomo castellano and parco sempione was easy to walk to ... public transport also regular. The hotel room was hot tho it is November but you can open window and switch heating off to cool off. Breakfast is cold continental buffet style. Reception service was pleasant and staff were nice. Wud recommend for those on a budget.

Staff was helpful with directions but slow in processing issues. They also neglected to tell us about the breakfast included so we missed out on that for 2 out of 3 days that we stayed. We had a tremendous issue on the last evening which spoiled the entire experience. Our next door neighbor had an issue with us talking in the room (no tv, no music, no shouting or partying. Just two girls talking at a normal volume). They screamed at us in Italian and pounded on the walls. It was absolutely terrible. The front desk did nothing to intervene except to ask us to \"turn down the tv\" which wasn't on in the first place. Our previous neighbors on nights 1 and 2 had absolutely no problems with us.

We needed to travel by tram or bus, which was quite easy in Milan, especially the tram. A map marking where to purchase transportation tickets and the location of transport would be good. I liked this hotel, the complimentary breakfast was great, a nice coffee machine with a variety of coffees, juices, water and more. We felt this hotel was a good value and I have already referred someone.

The room was clean as well as presentable. The staff at the front desk was not helpful. The \"Free WiFi\" was trash, i barley had two bars of it. The password was not provide untill it was asked for. The \"Free Satellite TV\" trash as well. The room was chilly, there was no safe in the room for my important belongings such as my passport, extra cash, etc... all of that i had to take with me. Over all, i would not stay there again.

I was there for 3 nights with my parents who are old. The staff were cooperative and the room was good, clean and many TV channels. Breakfast is ok, without eggs.
The location is acceptable; with bus 50 or 61 from Napoli station which is just 1 Minute to hotel you can reach Cadorna main station in 9 stops. There is just close to castle . We came from Milan to Cadorna and then to hotel. You can buy ticket from Tobacco shops or kiosks.
The tourist bus tour has also station at Cadorna.
The bathroom was excellent for old people who cannot move that much. There is great shop near bud station.

Amazing staff took care of our corporate group!

We had a group for corporate travel booked in some residences that ended up being far less than desired. Hotel Des Estrangers staff were amazing. I booked online the night before, and that day got all 10 people (10 rooms) checked-in quickly and the clients were very happy. Tatiana and her front desk team were also amazing at getting transportation back to the airport arranged, and were very patient with what was a very demanding corporate group. Would definitely recommend again.

Stayed 1 brief night on business. The staff were friendly, the room size and cleanliness fine. Parts of the hotel seem to have been refurbished as the breakfast room was modern and bright - with a good choice of continental breakfast for the price. The bedroom décor, though, was dated and could do with a facelift. However, it was clean, equipped as you'd expect and wifi was included. I've rated it 4 as it's in line with what I'd expect for the price and I'd stay there again if I had business in the area.

I returned to this hotel as I was impressed the first time and found it even better this time. The roooms have been refurbished and are modern and comfortable, well serviced and very quiet. Ideal location, off the main road, well connected to the nearby Wagner /Fiera area by bus, but an underground parking is also available. No restaurant, only fairly basic breakfast, but plenty of choice in the area. Great for single and business travellers as conference facilities are also available. Cheaper if booked via Expedia than directly. A little gem.

Friendly staff. Room is very clean and functional. Staff had been exceptionally helpful with local information, help with travel, and providing extension to the stay.
Take the bus number 61 to and from Cardona station which is the easiest way to get to the hotel if travelling by public transport. Avoid the Pizza place along via George Washington on the left hand side road walking from the hotel.

It was a good stay. The Location of the Hotel is near the City of Milano. In a fiew minutes you are in the middle of the pulsating Citylive.Just the Comfort of the Hotelroom was not such as good as expected. The room was very straight and warm, for not to say hot. The air conditioning does not work at all.For one or two nights to stay, but sure not for more.The personal at recitption was friendly but always busy, too busy for such a small hotel. Always had to wait.The Cleanliness was of room/ hotel was ok. Price for parking was too much at my opinion.

The location is good. A 15 minute walk to Porto Genova Station along wide boulevards with some good shops and supermarkets in the area. The reception was good and helpful but my stay was not comfortable for a few reasons. On the second day I had very little hot water, Sky TV never worked despite me reporting it and the Reception Manager trying as well.. The room was hot and if I opened the window the traffic noise was bad. The bathroom is large and comfortable though. Oh yes, if your neighbours have a shower at night it will definitely wake you up. Breakfast was adequate but coffee is from a machine and not good - always disappinting when in Italy. The staff were pleasant and therefore I did not complain as I felt they were doing their best.

Avrei dato eccellente su tutte le voci se non fosse per due piccole pecche rimediabili:
Aspiratore non funzionante nel bagno cieco, acqua della doccia non miscelabile con passaggio da caldo a freddo. Per il resto struttura da super consigliare.

O hotel é amigável, limpo, boa cama e bom café da manhã. Como ponto alto e importante, especialmente numa cidade cara como Milão, eu destacaria a estação de metrô a apenas 80 metros do hotel. Como ponto negativo, eu destacaria o MINÚSCULO box do banheiro e o péssimo chuveiro, onde temperar a água é praticamente impossível, ou vc toma banho frio, ou quente demais, além do jato de água fraco que oscila de quente pra frio todo o tempo.
