Good hotel, well located, room was clean and big enough for one person, though the bed was quite hard.

Located on the second floor, there is a decent lift but I didn't spend much time there or have the breakfast, it suited my very limited needs, would stay again.

We stayed over for a night after visiting Florence and getting a flight from Milan the morning after. I was very pleasantly surprised, the room was very clean, very spacious and with comfortable beds. The bathroom was fantastic.

It's in an area of Milan slightly outside the main city centre, which meant it was quieter than staying central but an area still with some fantastic shopping and lots of Milan charm. There is a convenience store about a one minute walk away. It's also only a ten minute walk from the metro if you want to get anywhere.

Overall it was a fantastic stay and if (probably when) I return to Milan I'll definitely consider a longer stay here.

This is not a hotel in the traditional sense in that it is on the second floor of a residential building. However, it has charming friendly staff on reception 24/7. The rooms are simple but a reasonable size and spotlessly clean. I was lucky enough to get a room with a cute balcony.

Very well positioned for public transport and also walking to most of the tourist sites.

Being a solo traveller it was an excellent price point. I really couldn’t fault it.

Oh and ps extra points for providing eco friendly products in the bath room.

The check in process was confusing and the front desk rep didn't seem to have the patience to communicate. She asked us to pay the whole balance due when doing check-in. However, after we checked out the hotel and came back to our country, we found that the hotel put additional charge to our credit card with only an email notification saying \"... the amount charged did not correspond to the amount of the booking ...\". No billing details.

We just left today and couldn’t be happier. The room was clean and comfortable. The person who helped check us in and with our bags was so very helpful and kind. Easy to get to the metro and nearby restaurants. Would stay here again!

Good basic hotel for short stay

We stayed room only. The room was very clean , small but had everything we needed for a short stay. Bed was a bit hard but I don’t mind that. Shower room was ok with toiletries and even a toothbrush. Air con in room was noisy and the bathroom extractor fan was very efficient but loud. It is quiet location, we walked into the tourist areas in about 25 mins. There is a nearby tram stop and metro station about 10 mins away, but we found waiting around was wasting our time so preferred to walk.

Check in was super easy and our room was ready even though we arrived early. The room was clean ans quiet. We had a king size bed and plenty of closet space/shelves/desk. There is a small elevator and we were both able to fit with our luggage. Great area for restaurants.

I’m booked this to be close to Santa Maria della Gracie (Last Supper). Perfect - easy walking distance. A tram stop close nearby, restaurants a short walk.
Slightly difficult to spot as it is on the first floor with unobtrusive entrance, a little hard to spot.

Clean, comfortable bed, great staff, decent breakfast. The neighborhood is really nice, rather quiet and safe. Excellent location. The only issue that I noticed is that the walls are a bit thin. Luckily, other guests were very respectful and quiet most of the time. The bathroom was large and clean. As a traveler on my own, this hotel met my needs, and I'm glad that I stayed there.

Spacious room with good air conditioning. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and spoke excellent English. They kindly stored our luggage for the whole day, allowing us to explore freely. The property was clean and well-maintained. Location is convenient, about 15 minutes from the city centre, with a bus stop just a 2-minute walk away. Overall, a pleasant stay!

Best services. Kind and helpful staff. We were given umbrellas on a rainy day. Super early check-in. Quick check in and out. Great location, steps from minimart, tram and bus stop. Just a brief walk to metro. Residential area so calm and quiet. Walk to good restaurants. Clean room, good breakfast. The only problem is water leaking from under shower door wetting the rest of bathroom. I will choose this hotel if I visit Milan again because of all its excellent staff.

This is a pleasant small hotel, rather old-fashioned, in a quiet area of Milan - staff are very friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast. Hotel is about 5 minutes' walk from the Metro - a 10-minute journey on the Metro to the Duomo.

I’ve stayed at numerous hotels during my trip. The Panizza was by far the best. Clean rooms, warm/friendly staff, great breakfast, and (the best part) the mattress was very comfy (no springs shooting into my back and not lumpy).

Stayed at room 303 for 2 people. It was a decent size although the shower stall is really small. I’m 5’3” and I keep hitting the toiletry rack. Not suitable for tall or big person. However, it was clean and that’s what I really care about. No noisy neighbors and staffs were helpful. No problem coming back to book here again.

Fantastic find. I’m very happy that I selected. hotel Panizza for my stay in Milan. Internally, it is clean, quiet and comfortable. Externally, it is close to trams and the metro, and, if you have the energy, the Duomo and the castle are in walking distance.

It is a privately run small hotel. It is not even a whole building. It has only two stories out of maybe 4 story. The staff is very friendly and it has free breakfast. But the location is a little far from subway. Well the price is cheap so no complain.

The staff was very attentive, the breakfast a nice selection as well. The location is great, just a few minutes walk to the metro and shops close by. My only gripe would be the mattress, it made me feel like the bed is swallowing me, also the TV channels are mainly geared towards Italians, not much choice in other languages.

Very well located and with perfect transport routes. It is tucked away and the front desk on a second floor; I loved the building because it is old and well renovated. The girl who greeted me was very friendly and the attentions I had when doing \"early check out\", were the best despite being 3/4am. I’ll come back any time. I fully recommend it.

Good place for the price. Friendly staff who can speak English. Very convenient since its right next to Herculaneum and right down the street from the train station to Pompei or Napoli. Our first room was flooded with water so we had to change rooms to one right next to the outside terrace/patio. It was a bit noisy from that and other rooms since the walls seemed paper thin.

The property was easy to find from the Metro Station. It was very clean and the staff were friendly and always available.The room was smaller than i had anticipated but once i cheked my booking i had paid for a small double and that is deffo what i got! Bedroom was clean and bathroom was spotless- can't fault the house keeping staff. I don;t thinlk we would saty here again as my huband didn;t really like it but if your looking for very absic and clean this pleace fits the bill.

I only stayed at Hotel Panizza one night but enjoyed my visit.
The staff were very welcoming, my room was clean, the shower had good temperature and pressure and the breakfast was good with a mix of different choices including fruit, yoghurt, pastries, cereals, toast and cold meats and cheeses. The bed was a little soft for my liking and the bathroom fan was quite noisy at night despite not being turned on. Those were the only downsides though, overall it worked well for one night and was close enough to different Metro stations to make it easy to get around.

First, perhaps you have to get used a bit to the fact that the hotel doesn't have it's own 'front door' (you have to enter an apartment building and there on the second floor you'll find the hotel entrance) but then you'll find a nice hotel with good rooms and a good breakfast and very friendly staff at only some 1o minutes walking from the centre. Nice hotel for a city break.

Although the hotel is some walking distance away from the nearest metro station, it is located in a nice neighbourhood area. There are restaurants, eateries, a super mart and other shops nearby. The breakfast has a reasonably variety and the service of the hotel staffs is good.

I must first saw the staff was excellent! It is outside all busy area of Milan but you can walk to all the sites if you wanted. We were there in Aug, and the whole area around the hotel was closed for holiday, which made it very quiet but also a pain you had to go far away to grab a snack or drink which isn't the fault of the hotel. It's a 5-10 min walk to metro depending on if you have luggage or how fast of a walker you are, not so that's nice. Rooms small but you're in Europe so that's to be expected. The beds are very firm but the rooms do have AC!

Excellent stay here at Hotel Panizza. I was greeted by friendly staff and given a map of Milan with recommendations of monuments to visit and transporation options.

The room was clean and the bathroom newly renovated.

The breakfast exceeded my expectations and had everything from fresh boiled eggs, yogurt, pastries, cake and cereal. The best breakfast and coffee so far!!!

The hotel is located close enough to to the centre of Milan (only a few train stations away). I especially enjoyed the restaurants nearby by the hotel - especially Japanese cuisine.

My only criticism is other guests can be loud so you can hear them in the corridor, but I am not a light sleeper so it didn't bother me.

Overall as I am a 26yo female travelling alone, I found Hotel Panizza value for money, clean, enjoyable and safe.

Checked in to the hotel and the guy taking my City tax for the bill tried to short change me. He asked if I had change I said no only bills. I gave him a 20 for a 12 euro bill and he returned a 5 and one euro coin and a 20 cent coin...6.20 euro. I pushed the change towards him and said I think this is incorrect...the bell man knew what he did bc he uttered something in Italian. He took the coins back and gave me 3 Euro coins. I was not impressed. The noise in the morning was intrusive (they are doing serious repairs starting at 0900). I would not stay here again...there are many other options out there for the price of this hotel and location to the tram.

Nice location and an easy walk from the metro. Plus, there's a place for gelato half way between the metro and the hotel!
The staff were exceptional! Extreamly helpful and accommodating!
An elevator makes getting to the lobby and your room easy.
The room and bath were very clean with a comfortable bed. No tub and the shower's a little small if you're use to American hotels, but plenty of hot water, so we didn't mind. Enjoyed the fresh air from the balcony and the drapes to block out the morning sun.
Great value for the city, we would return if in Milan again.

Nice terrace!

We were pleasantly surprised upon arrival that our room has a cute balcony/ terrace, that is a decent size. It was so lovely, we decided to get take out and eat dinner on the terrace the whole time we were there! The staff are very friendly and helpful too. The room is pretty small, but very clean and new. The area is also safe and short walk to everything. Highly recommended!

I was very pleased with Panizza! The room was exactly as expected - clean and simple accommodations. The bathroom was very modern which was a huge plus. The breakfast was very generous and very delicious. There were a lot of options and the coffee made fresh to order. The service was also excellent both during breakfast and check-in/out. Overall an excellent experience for a wonderful value - I would definitely stay here again!

Perfect place to stay

We had a perfect stay at Panizza. The staff was amazing, especially helpful when our plans changed and we ended up staying longer. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great, much more choice than other places, with cereal, toast, breads, a variety of cheeses and meats, plus all of the pastries and sweets. Convenient location, near the subway but a pleasant walk to the center and many points of interest.

Stayed here for just one night before flying out of Milan. The good: the rooms are small, as expected, but clean and recently updated. Location is good too -- just a 5 minute cab ride from Cadorna train station. The bad: the walls are paper thin. Could hear everything happening at the front desk, footsteps, breakfast preparation, etc.

Exceeded our expectations - clean, comfortable, good breakfast and friendly staff. Great location for sightseeing and quiet at night. Would definitely stay there again.

Great place to stay

We stayed at Panizza whilst attending a conference. The hotel was a 5 minute walk from the underground station in a nice part of the city. The hotel staff were very helpful and kind and the room was clean, with a balcony where we could sit, good airconditioning, comfortable beds and an excellent bathroom. The continental breakfast was lovely. The hotel was a little difficult to find at first as you had to ring the doorbel and take an elevator to the second floor, but this should not put you off. The building has a lot of character. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to my friends and family.
