I booked a smoking room and on arrival was told my smoking means there is a balcony but my room has not got a balcony and there are no rooms with a balcony available. Even though I booked it in advance. The sound isolation in this hotel is non-existence. The court yard is nice and they have a gated parking, which was nice.

The hotel was excellently placed for attending the conference. The breakfast was ok but the pigeons needed to be evicted from the dining room at times! Very close to the Metro which made getting into the centre of town very easy

I enjoyed my stay here and would recommend to others. The room was nice and comfortable. If you are looking for something quiet I would recommend a room that is not facing the street. The location is good because there is a subway station literally across the street and it takes about 10-15 minutes to get to the Duomo and other main attractions in the city.

Beautiful, authentic, and intimate hotel in a safe neighborhood. Within walking distance of most attractions. If you don't like to walk: very close to a subway station with access to the major line. Super friendly personnel. Lots of parking space in the back of the hotel.

Hotel Tiziano is really the perfect place to stay in Milan. It is located in a beautiful, calm area. The metro is just a few minutes away from the hotel. Depressing room and Terrible experience

I was travelling on my own and had booked the Queen Room (15 sqm),because it looked spacious, bright and nice on the booking website. In reality, the room was simply terrible, very dark and more like a prison cell. There is no way, the room was 15 sqm and it was very depressing. Regarding the bathroom: it was tiny and there was no bath tub as shown on the pictures on hotels.com. Clearly a case of false advertising, either on behalf of hotels,com or the Hotel Tiziano. Staff was also unable to help, because the hotel was apparently fully booked. Would never recommend to stay there - at least not in the advertised 15 sqm single room. Terrible experience.

So I book this hotel due to air conditioning and it’s advertised on the website and on booking information as an amenity. No where does it say it’s seasonal. Room too hot had to have windows open to cool down ,but bit to death by mosquitoes

Hotel Tiziano was very easy find even we were first time in Milano. It is just two min walking from Buonarroti stop of the red lines. The hotel sign is visible when you exit the metro.
The receptionists were very helpful and friendly.
The room was clean, cozy and comfortable.
Breakfast was excellent.
We would choose this hotel again if we visit Milano.

Lovely guest services at the front desk. They were very kind, attentive, patient, helpful, and courteous. The location is very safe. As a single woman I was never worried about the location and it was a huge perk to have the metro stop just across the street from the hotel. My room was very small but this did not bother me, I really just used it to sleep. The shower was also very small. For a petite person it was fine but I am sure it would be uncomfortable for anyone even slightly larger. Breakfast was satisfactory and again, the service was just great.

Effective attention to guests

I had booked a single room for two nights. After checking in (the room and bathroom were spotless) I discovered a worn out jacket in the room's cupboard, obviously left by a previous guest: having contacted reception they apologised and promptly offered to change and upgrade my room. Furthermore, at checkout I was pleasantly surprised to have the cost of the garage waived.

Excellent Hotel for Milan Weekend Trip

The Hotel Tiziano is an excellent choice of accommodations in Milan. The hotel is reasonably priced with tidy rooms. The breakfast area is quite nice, and the selection of food good. Service all around, from the front desk, cleaning staff, and dinning room is friendly. The building is well-located, only steps from the subway line that goes directly to the Sforzesco Castle and Duomo in a matter of minutes. One can also walk to Santa Maria delle Grazie, the location of Da Vinci's The Last Supper and the Milano Cadorna train station, for easy journey to Malpensa Airport.

The hotel is very comfortable and clean ،location not far away from centre and beside the metro.
The stuff are as below:
I came early in the morning while the check in time still not on, even I had hotel. Com VIP benefits like free upgrades and early check in (if it's available from the hotel) One young lady in reception morning shift even without asking my reservations details when I arrived, immediately after she saw the Arabic face (me) said you have to wait simply agreed and took a side and waited on the couch as I was tired, after half hour 2 guys from different countries ( not Arabic) checked in immediately!! When I asked why she said different rooms !!! Please keep in mind the she didn't know even what room I have reserved (truly disgusting)
The second event when I I check out the guy in the morning shift at 24/12/2010 asked me to pay my stay while everything has been paid in advance, and he insisted and told your card has been charged for guaranty!!!! Even after he checked again he said agency issues (Expedia) and never said sorry.

The restaurant and night reception employs are perfect helpful .

Not 4-Stars, More Like 2.5

This hotel was advertised as being four stars, but the quality of the rooms was more like a two or two-and-a-half star facility. The bathroom in one of our rooms was so poorly laid out that the door would hit anyone using the sink or toilet, and the plastic shower/tub surround could not be unfolded without risking a fall in the shower. One room lacked blackout curtains and the exterior shutters didn’t close all the way. The picture of the lobby suggests beautiful grounds, but they captured what is really the only pretty view. All this said, the price we paid was for a three star hotel, the staff was helpful, and they did have a nice breakfast. But we feel misled by the advertised four-star rating.

I stayed at Hotel Tiziano Park Minihotel during my partner's birthday, and they were kind enough to upgrade our room to have a view of the beautiful outside garden and also provided some chocolates that said 'Happy Birthday' as a little extra something. The hotel is really well located, only a minute from the underground to go straight to Milan center. All the staff were very friendly, always greeting us with a smile, and the breakfast had a good amount of variety.

Overall very good stay. Close to conference center, walking distance through park. Garden is big asset (unfortunately it was raining mostly). Standard rooms are very small, but ok. Problem was that weather was very cold for May, and they had already turned off the central heating; it was therefore really cold also in the rooms; supposedly they couldn’t do anything about it. Still, good stay overall. Not necessarily recommended if tourist visit is the main purpose given that it’s a bit outside (metro station is just around the corner though, so also easy - metro stations are often not accessible for people with walking issues).

This was an ideal experience for this type of smaller hotel. Room was nicely designed so there were places to put things, it was extremely clean (they washed the floor every day) and the wifi was good. Oh, also, the breakfast was excellent, with warm croissants, eggs, meats, cakes and other pastries, and the espresso was good. So was the service.

Amazing!

This is the best value hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The rooms were immaculate and comfortable, breakfast superb. However, it was the staff that truly made this hotel- they are nothing short of wonderful. Particular shout out to Khaled and all the desk staff, and the fantastic cleaning staff!

This hotel isn’t centrally located, which is nice and relaxing. Central Milan is just a twenty minute walk, and the subway is literally in the hotel doorstep. There are some lovely bakeries and restaurants near by too (just by Wagner station, three minute walk) .-

Very nice hotel, super conveniently located

Hotel is very conveniently located to be accessible by car while being very close to the city center.
Our room was large and fresh, with a cool view on their park.
Breakfast and parking are available and great atributes, although breakfast could be improved.

Hotel in Milan with park

This hotel was great, centrally located (steps away from Buonarotti metro station, red line) very clean and bright, access to a park where you can soak the sun while having breakfast.

The staff were so helpful especially at reception.
The room was small as I booked a single room, the walls are so thin I could hear the wake up alarm next door but I didn't mind that.
Overall I am very happy I booked this hotel.

I stayed here for 6 nights. I had great service, and I loved my room. I could hear other guests a little at night, generally quiet though. I was here in November, heat worked great, I was not cold at all. I had a single room, and the shower was fine for me but if you are a larger person it would be a little small to use.

Lame customer service + no A/C after midnight.

I don't understand how this hotel gets its 4.2/5 rating. First, the customer service is super bad. I asked the customer service rep to help me arranging transportation from MXP to the hotel. They responded that I should just jump into a taxi to get to the hotel. I was lucky that I had enough EUR cash with me to cover the taxi cost in the end. Second, the A/C stopped working on the 2nd night of stay. I called the front desk. The man was rude and said A/C turns off every night at midnight. Which is total BS because the A/C didn't get back to work the next day. It simply stopped working.

A decent business hotel (much better than the Best Western on Viale Murillo which is incredibly dated). I picked the lowest price room but it was tiny so I upgraded to the next level up. Not much better but a bigger bed. The rooms at this price point are out the front with a street view and are rather monastic with no art or softer furnishings. The bed was comfy but the pillows were very flat. Room temperature did not seem to be affected by the air conditioning so I found it very hot. It's too noisy to leave the window open, and if you do it means the blind cannot be shut (and the light from across the street would be disturbing) so I didn't sleep brilliantly.

Bathroom is decent, with a good shower, big towels and a nice robe with slippers.

Service at the front desk was very good and friendly.

Overall a decent hotel, though I think I would pay more for a better room, hopefully overlooking their eponymous park, in future.

Nice hotel, rooms are small but well decorated. Walls between rooms arent great, so be prepared to hear your neighbours. Staff is unfriendly and sometimes rude. Location is close to station and only 20 min from the city centre. However, it is very quiet at night, so it feels a bit unsafe.

The so called rooms with Queen beds that I had reserved are nothing like the pictures, they are tiny with really Double size bed, tiny bath with a shower cube that you have to climb into. I was forced to upgrade to a King room with really a Queen bed to get a room that resembles one in the pictures... very misleading by the Hotel.

Great hotel, shame about the breakfast.

This is a very attractive hotel built in 1938 as a private house and it is quite rare to find a hotel with a large garden in the centre of Milan.
Our room (103) had a lovely view of the park and had a small balcony.
The front desk personnel were pleasant, efficient and very helpful.
My only criticism would be the breakfast. The fruit salads were tinned rather than fresh. On the first day there had been an electricity cut so the scrambled eggs were absolutely cold and rubbery. When I pointed this out, my eggs were whisked off to the kitchen to be microwaved!
It would have been nice if the kitchen had made me some freshly scrambled eggs as a replacement.
On the second day, I decided to try the pancakes with maple syrup, but the machine had been switched off. It appeared that the staff had made loads of pancakes and had then not bothered to refill the machine. As a result, the only choice was a plate of stone cold pancakes.
Needless to say on our third day we went out for breakfast.
However this has not put us off the hotel. If you are going to eat breakfast there, stick to the cheese, ham, fresh fruit and croissants with excellent cappuccino, or go out!
The hotel is located in a very pleasant area of Milan with excellent restaurants near by and there is easy access to Milan Fiera City and the new Rho exhibition centre.
We will go back.

Great location if going to Milan EXPO

Stayed here two nights to go to the EXPO. This hotel is right across the street from a Metro stop which is 18 minutes to the EXPO. The neighborhood is very quiet and there isn't much around the hotel, but the Metro is so efficient that you can get anywhere in Milan in 15 or so minutes. I had just gotten in from NYC and the front desk girl was very helpful in arranging an early check in which was so appreciated. The room is typical small European, but in very good condition, definitely above average for a European hotel. Breakfast included is good, European style. Overall a very good stay and recommended!

Friendly neighborhood hotel

My husband, toddler, and I stayed here for two days of sightseeing in Milan. Because we had a car, I chose to book a hotel just outside of the busy downtown area. This on had on-site parking (for a small fee), which was good for us. The hotel was beautiful. The rooms were comfortable, the backyard area was fun for my toddler -- there is an adult exercise set-up that doubled as a playground for my daughter. Best of all, both the metro and the hop-on, hop-off bus were just down the block. The metro is cheap and it's an easy 10-minute ride to the Duomo. We spent the last afternoon on one of the sightseeing busses and were dropped off very close to our hotel, which was great. The staff was very friendly as well, and went out of their way to direct us to nearby restaurants and to help us find a pharmacy. This is a good option for a quiet stay outside the hustle and bustle.

A very charming hotel: garden, entrance and the beautiful library and the two lounges...
But in contrast to that, the room was small enough and above all too much noise during the day and the night...Very difficult to sleep well.
Soundproofing was not at all adequate when your neighbours are very noisy people.

It's a pity in such a beautiful hotel ...

Quiet location

This is a good hotel in a very quiet neighborhood, yet few stops away from City centre. It has a garden where you can enjoy an al fresco breakfast! Staffs are helpful and friendly. Very clean hotel. There is a restaurant right across but not far away is a street lined with ristorante and supermarket.

A 3 star hotel pretending to be a 4 start hotel!

This is a 3 star hotel pretending to be a 4 star hotel! It was quite pricy for what you get - a basic room, not much amenities! On the positive side it is in a quiet neighborhood with 5 minute walk to the Metro which connects to all the sights in Milan.

Excellent location, excellent staff service from cleaners, reception and catering staff, all very helpful, I couldn't ask for more. Breakfast excellent.

Good Hotel in Milan

Hotel Tiziano, is located on a nice not very crowded area of Milan, about 5-10 min. ride from the Duomo. We came on a business trip so it was a good place to stay. The Hotel is in good condition, the rooms are OK but comfortable. Overall, the Hotel Tiziano is an option to stay in Milan.

Great spot!

Hotel Tiziano is a great hotel. It is located very close to the subway and it takes only 10 minutes to get to all of the places in Milan that you want to go. Wifi and ac are good, the breakfast in the garden is very pretty. I very much enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay again!

Very Nice Stay

The staff at the Tiziano was outstanding. The staff were very helpful with recommendations for transportation, sights, and restaurants. The staff had great bilingual skills, and the breakfast was one of the most comprehensive we had during our time in Italy. They are a little far away from central sights, but the Metro line was very close. The room was very comfortable as well.

Kind Hospitality

Had asked hotel at booking, if at all possible could we have a quiet room and get into room early in the morning as we would be exhausted following dawn arrival into Milan after a long flight. The Hotel was very accommodating. With our 8:30 am registration. we were given a great quiet room immediately. Breakfast delicious and served in a inviting room which extends out to a large garden expanse, part of the original Villa grounds that is the hotel. Hotel staff next day stored our luggage till we were ready to catch our mid-afternoon train to Bologna. Hotel location great, stone's throw from metro which would have you at Duomo in 7 minutes. Also a 6-minute walk to the Wagner Market area where streets are lined with excellent shopping. We are familiar with this lovely part of Milan. Highly recommend the Tiziano for the generous and warm hospitality, convenience, cleanliness, inviting room and lobby areas in which to relax, all at a reasonable rate.

Great possibility but bad variable service

Arrived, had reserved 2 superior/deluxe rooms for 3 people. The receiving night clerk couldn't have been more impolite and downright nasty at first thought it was for 2 people total and informed us the hotel was full. Gave us what I am sure was one single horrible, hot stuffy room facing a noisy street making window ventilation impossible and one larger, quieter truly double room. Back to the clerk in person and was told that both rooms were identical and there was nothing she could do except make a note in the book about it. In the morning after a bad night was met by a very nice day clerk \"Maurio?\" who said a new room would be ready in 20 min's. the new room was fine. He also went out of his way to provide excellent help on the ensuing 2 days. Every night would see the sam sourpuss young lady as the night clerk who continued her nasty disposition. So overall, a mixed experience.

Excellent service small room

The service is excellent, they would do anything to make your stay the best experience. The location is excellent, one minute to metro station and 5 minutes to Duomo. The hotel accross the street is very good, their service is super good and the food delicious. The only bad thing is that the rooms are very small.
