Overall good stay, at night it was very noisy we barely slept. It felt like a window was open that’s how loud it was. Breakfast had great variety except hot breakfast was completely cold and the cakes were dry. Needs improvement to be a 5 star.

My daughter and I absolutely loved our stay there! The VIp lounge was so amazing and so convenient! It was nice to not have to worry about smalll things like finding juice water bottles or small snacks all the time. The snacks and breakfast was great! Staff was all very polite! The restaurant downstairs food was amazing! All in all stay here! It’s amazing and I am looking forward to coming back and staying here again! It is rigtb beside the train station so walking distance which takes you right to duamo. Taking a cab there is about 25 min and expensive. Still it’s gorgeous and I felt safe with a child !

The property was in a good location and was easy to get to the Metro. I felt it was a safe area. It was also close to the Duomo and shopping areas. Also, the staff were beyond excellent at the hotel. They were always friendly, warm and helpful. The nicest people!!! Everyone, even the people at the restaurant were friendly and made fantastic recommendations. The food was delicious! Great, amazing hotel.

We had a lovely stay at the Meliá Milano. We were able to store our bags as we arrived before check in and when we checked in our bags were taken to our room for us a lovely touch after we were so exhausted. We had a classic room, nice enough and a little outside area. Another nice touch of tooth brushes, razor and cotton bads, robes and slippers. Only complaint we had was their weren't plugs beside the bed, had to plug in beside the desk across the room. The air con and lights operated by touch screens beside the beds. Lots of pillows really comfortable.

The only thing we weren't happy with was on our 2nd night we had a knock at the door about 10.30pm, a member of staff needing to check our bathroom. He came and went multiple times before informing us we had to change room. This caused me great anxiety as it was late and out of the blue without explanation. While packing away our things reception rang and explained and said they'd upgrade our room. I would have preferred a heads up from reception before the knock on the door to relieve the worry we had about what's going on. It was a cause of concern and made us crater uncomfortable as we were chilling in our hotel robes after a busy day.

However our upgraded room was lovely, massive comfy bed, usb, usb c and plugs beside the bed massive plus. Complementary water and chocolates were delivered in on the Sunday night which was appreciated. We also stayed for my partners 30th birthday and the hotel we're amazing with us

During our 10-day April stay, we appreciated the lovely lobby and exceptional staff, but found our experience negatively impacted by the high price and inconvenient ongoing construction, which meant facilities like the gym were unavailable. The room was slightly grubby, we complained and received a fair discount without any debate, again, excellent staff. Despite that, were still disappointed and wished prior notice about the construction had allowed us to choose another hotel.

Great location for the hotel, very quiet and peaceful. The service was fantastic from the room service to the front desk, everybody was so nice and helpful. Breakfast was very good and the rooms were nice, clean, and quiet. This was my first time visiting Milan for my moms birthday and they brought my mom some sweets and a bottle of champagne with a nice birthday card and balloon. Thank you Melia Milano will definitely look forward to visiting back again.

Good quality hotel with Comfortable rooms and good breakfast - however, rooms are insanely hot. Typical with many other Italian hotels in the winter months the air con is disabled and all the rooms are heated like a Swedish sauna. Italians must like it but for anyone used to colder climes it is next to impossible to sleep.

This is hotel is generally fine. It’s not in a great location for tourism. It’s more consistent with the type of hotel that would host a large group. Perhaps a convention. The air conditioning was shut off for the season so we had to open the windows, which made our stay very noisy.

The room they gave us wasn't what was advertised. We complained and they gave us another room which was worse.

We had reserved two nights and they agreed that if we checkout in the morning they will refund us the second night and they never did.

At the front desk when checking out again confirmed this with them and they said rest assured the refund will be processed.

A week passed and I called and they again assured it would be processed.

Again called weeks later and still nothing.

They repeatedly lie.

We were given a room that was not set up for guests to stay in. It was like an empty dungeon. There was no other furniture other than a bed and a tv table. There were barely any lights in the room. A few minutes into our stay, a staff member opened the room without knocking on the door. It felt like we were thrown into a random room and there was no system to set this room
up or know if there was someone inside or not. The phone was literally broken so we couldn’t call reception. The location of the property is in a run down area of Milan. I’ve had much better experiences in 3 star hotels than I had in this 5 star hotel.

It’s a great hotel with a great entrance but when you get to the room, it’s so bloody dated. It wasn’t clean, there was a storm and the balcony door was leaking. It felt as if the bed was made and the rest was left. Wouldn’t stay again, complained but no reply and ushered out the door.

The lobby area was outstanding which is why we were a little disappointed with the bedroom it was slightly outdated and basic. There was no view and my partner and I were put in a bedroom at the furthest end of the corridor so it felt extremely isolated and industrial. As for breakfast the food was very delicious.

Not so good for a 5-star hotel. Only the lobby deserves that rating. Room was hot, and there were several ants in the bathroom and by the bed. I asked for a relaxed chair so I can sit down, they never brought one! Room was so outdated.

This is simply not a 5 star. In Italy there are 5star (like a decent 4 star) and 5 star L which is generally like a 5 star.
Hotel has no parking and a nearby garage charges 3 euros per hour 24h days (72 euros for a full day). Streets around the property are sketchy with hookers over weekend.
No real luggage at service
Far from the city and a good 10 min walk from subway (no way to get taxis on the street and no Uber except Uber black)
Rooms are large for Europe standards but that’s because the hotel is not in the city center
Zero services that a 5 star would have like a good consierge.
Hotel was a great value at 100 euros a night, not worth now it at 250.

It’s an outdated hotel located in a residential area. We had to change our room as the noice coming from a restaurant across the street was unbearable. The room was also infested with mosquitoes. The staff changed the room but it was a hassle to move when you have a tight schedule.

It was just one night stay on the way to go back home to the U.S., This hotel claiming 5 star but not as we expected. No doorman, porter, no services what so ever. It is 3 or 4 star standard. No room service, just casual bar restaurant in lobby. The location is far from all attractions.

The hotel was in good condition. Receptionist a bit rude and definitely not friendly. Need some hospitality training. They charged us euro 30 per room upon check out for city tax which wasn’t mentioned either in the website or at check in. I suggest they add water hose spray near toilets seat in the bathroom.

No Spa at this Hotel

We booked thinking there was a spa based on pictures on the melia website and google search. There is no spa. First person we asked was dismissive and unwelcoming, after this we raised it again to another receptionist, how we were misled by their website and how it was falsely advertising a spa/jacuzzi. This receptionist was kind enough to offer an upgrade. The room was clean and nice but laminate flooring looked like it was coming undone. The bed was comfortable and blackout curtains allowed for a good nights sleep.
