Dated decor but overall positive experience

Convenient location. The room was a bit dated but functionally fine. The bed was comfortable and clean. The bathroom, whilst small, was fine: well equipped, decent water pressure and there were plenty of towels which were changed every day of our stay. The WiFi was very slow, even with the included free voucher for the supposedly faster connection (I couldn't tell the difference from the free/slower service).
The staff were friendly and we had no issues checking in very late at night.
Overall positive and I would consider staying here again when in Milan

Lovely hotel. Very quiet location.

Staff very friendly.

Rooms are very clean and well maintained.

Breakfast, plenty of selections for everyone, vegetarians, vegans, people who like cereal, cooked breakfast, continental or jut a coffee.

Taxi to city centre about 10 euros.

Milono conference centre 15 minute walk.

Metro stations,are very close by.

The property is a bit old . The A/C was turned off because it is October, even though it was a hot day, they said it cannot be controlled individually and separately in my room. The power kept on going off in my room even though I had nothing plugged on that could set off the fuse.....

Can’t really fail it. Within reach of both railway stations, we walked, no issues, I’m 62. Easy walk to the main centre to see so many wonderful sites. Restaurants everywhere and I mean everywhere, I have never seen so many and they were all busy. The tube and tram system works well. There are taxis directly outside and the tube is across the road.

The staff was very helpful with everything! Dinner recommendation was superb! Help with touring ideas worked out great and knowledge of train service was extremely valuable!! The front desk staff was so friendly and engaging. All questions were answered politely no matter how insignificant.

Nice hotel - Great Staff

Overall a nice hotel and a great stay. Location was good, price was reasonable, and the staff were fantastic. Was able to walk to San Siro Stadium in about 45 minutes and to the Central Train Station in about the same. For me it was centrally located for my trip to Milan. Would recommend and will stay there again if I venture back to Milan.

Although the room was on the small side, it was furnished comfortably and attractively. The one negative that I have is the shower. It was tiny and had an unusual, seated massage unit in it. As I did not want to sit down, I had very little space to shower. The massage unit was not adequately cleaned and had mold/dirt on the round massage elements.

The hotel is comfortable and clean. Beds are great and you will sleep well. However, the reception is looking very old, the rooms are old but in good condition. Charging for the internet is not acceptable now days. Breakfast is ok but can improve. Staff is very nice and friendly. Location is also very good.

Great hotel

The room was great for the relatively cheap price Hotels.com offered. Come with in-room slipper. Clean, aircon worked great too! Very close to Metro as well as train station. The only cons will be the journey to Milan cathedral took roughly 25mins with 2Metros which was considerably time-consuming I thought. Also, free wifi is too slow, only 120kbps.

The entire staff was excellent. They went over and above what was expected to answer our questions, help make travel arrangements and suggestions of things to do in the area. The room was modern and had all the amenities. The breakfast and staff was great, especially Esther. Davide at the lounge was wonderful and made a great club sandwich as well as specialty drinks. Davis, Daniel and Guessipi at the front desk were very helpful and friendly.

Quaint, nice hotel

I booked this hotel for a congress in Mico. Location very convenient-just a 15min walk to Mico or just 3 stops away via Metro if you opt to take the subway. Its located in a quiet neighborhood with groceries, some restaurants, laundry, a church, rent a car place around the area. There’s also a street market that’s just a stone’s throw away every Tues/Sat with fresh produce, clothes, shoes etc. Rooms are clean with very good firm beds. The only thing I didnt like about this hotel is their soap & shampoo. Doesn’t suit me. Good thing I brought my own.

Great hotel, very clean, service was impeccable. Called to borrow a wine opener and Davide came and opened the bottle for us. When we asked for s recommendation for dinner, they directed us to a great great place and even ran out after us just to direct us. Couldn’t have asked for more.

Firstly, great location for the congress, the price is steep for what you get. There is no gym or pool.
The reception staff are great apart from one person who was rude. The bar staff (Davide) was great. Was given a room on the first floor when I arrived, got woken up at 4am by noise on the first night, presumed it was from outside so let it go. Happened again the 2nd night with the noise coming from inside the hotel so I asked to be moved, only for the rude man at reception so ask why I hadn;t complained the previous day, I explained I thought it was not the hotel's fault but from outside so I had let it go. He really was arrogant in his attitude, this coupled with the price and the lack of facilities means I wouldn;t recommend it unless you are in a bind.

The location in my opinion is great. There is supermarket nearby and some good restaurants. The Gerusaleme metro station is just a few steps away. The down side is the conditions of the hotel, it needs a refurbishment, the furniture is old, we got a room with bathroom clogged and shower stall was broken and water was leaking everywhere. The breakfast is good.

Hotel advertises Air Conditioning but we spent the first night sweltering in 24°C heat with a noisey fan. Advised Reception the next morning to be told Air Con is only fanning / blowing outside air into room. Not happy considering the Lobby area was very Air Conditioned. We approached them again and spoke with another person who said they had turned the Air Con off because THEY don't believe it's hot anymore. We asked for our room to be reconnected to air con & this was done. Room looks tired. No tissues etc. Breakfast was very limited and boring eg poorly cooked (raw) scrabbled eggs but never any bacon/sausage just potatoes. This Hotel is NOT four star. Feel cheated and disappointed.

We had water dripping from the ceiling on the first night, reported it and we were given another room promptly even though it was 2 am! Room was good and has air conditioning system. Breakfast had loads of selection. staff were very helpful.

Location and Comfort!

The hotel is very nice, the rooms are big, comfortable beds with nice pillows, comforter and pristine white towels, The service is 5 stars we had 2 early morning tours scheduled and we were a group of 17 people, they prepared a breakfast bag for each person for each of the 2 days! Concierge service is also wonderful, the bar tender was extremely helpful and we want to appreciate all he did so that we could find our way around. The gentleman who checked us in was most helpful and went out of his way to accommodate our individual family and gave us 2 connecting rooms so we could be comfortable. It is my hope I get to visit Milan again and will always remember this hotel and stay there again. Much luck to them!

Lively hotel with good comfortable rooms, great location and well priced. Front desk staff were very friendly and happy to store bags on your final day. Leaflets for local attractions are left of you are a tourist.

Continental breakfast was good value and set you up well for the day and a good saving over expensive restaurants. Variety of cold meats and cheeses, scrambled eggs, toast and pastries were welcome to fuel a long day walking around the city.

Room was comfy and well furnished, it was let down by a poor shower and no sound proofing; we were situated over the breakfast kitchen so we're awakened when breakfast prep started at 6ish every morning.

Location is close to many restaurants, is situated close to the Gerusalemme Metro for easy access from the major train lines and a suburban train station to Lake Como. Parco Sempione is a 15 min walk and very pleasant for a sunny stroll and to see Castle Sforzesco.

The hotel is located at a good location. It's very close to the Metro. The hotel room is small which was expected, but we didn't expect the bathroom ( shower only) was that small. My wife and me both are skiny, but we can't even move freely in the shower, when you turn your body or move your arm, you would bump the shower faucet accidentally, so the faucet was up or down, and cause water either too hot or too cold, you had to adjust the water temperature all the time. Well, besides that, we have no complaints

I booked for one person, when I went to my room it was very spacious and had two beds, lovely bathroom with a bath and a shower, toiletries and beautiful bath sheets not skimpy little cheap towels. Also provided was a mini bar and a safe.
Lovely breakfast choices and all so fresh.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is in a nice area that felt safe, about 15 min walk to the convention center, close to some restaurants, shops and grocery shops. It is a couple of blocks from the metro stop Gerusalemme (however from that stop it's not a direct line to the center, you have to change lines).

Room was comfortable, but far tòo small.
No kettle in the room, which was a pain.
Breakfast was a non event. Infact on the third morning we went out for breakfast.
Night Porter couldn't be bothered to get us a hot drink. It was not even midnight.

Less fun than a travel lodge but clean and tidy

Arrived late met by a friendly American swift check in to first floor room overlooking street, head down. Woken up by street traders and general noise outside at before 6am and struggled to get back to sleep. Bed very hard. No hot drink making facilities but did have minibar if a whiskey helps you sleep better than tea.
Two nights of convenience to the office in a clean and tidy hotel, more efficient and businesslike than warm and cosy, oh and the broadband wifi was next to useless.

Good but a little tired around the edges

I only stayed here for 1 night, and given the location of my work it was fantastically situated.
The hotel is clean and the service is good, and when I first arrived in my room I thought I had discovered the perfect place to stay for the weeks ahead.
However on closer inspection you realise the hotel has not been modernised in anyway for quite some time. Keys to open the doors, light switches everywhere, old style bathroom with random taps sticking out of the walls. The room service was also good, so although in need of modernisation simply because of the closeness to my work I would consider staying here if I couldn't find anywhere better in town.

Breakfast did not have much variety and was not very good. Rooms were dated with VERY spotty internet connection. The cleaning service did not replenish missing toiletries such as tissue and toilet paper. Added charge of 5 euros per night for each adult in a room. The hotel location is a few minutes from the metro station which is quite useful.

Delightful

Staff, especially Stephane, was consistently helpful and hospitable. Neighborhood is quiet and charming, with many good restaurants right nearby. The hotel is close to the convention center, but public transportation to the downtown area is easy and runs regularly. It was a great base for a wonderful introduction to Milan.
