Perfect stay at the Hotel Oro Blu. Check-in was a breeze. Front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Room was clean and beautiful. In walking distance of all the great sites. If I ever get the opportunity to visit Florence again, this will be my hotel of choice!

Nice staff and good sized rooms but unfortunately the walls are very thin as I could hear the next door neighbours till 1.30am. Difficult finding car parking on street so had to pay 20 euros a day in the hotel car park. Hotel in good location for the centre of Milan as tube station is opposite the hotel… much quicker by tube than by car because of traffic .

Convenient for the congress centre but this is NOT a 4-star hôtel!

The hotel is clean, excellent location to the Lotto Metro station (2 min walk) and 5-7 mins to the Congress Centre. It is clean and in a safe neighbourhood. It is however very basic and the plastic mattress cover ensured my sleeping was poor quality and sweaty! If you're there on business, the lack of blackout curtains will ensure you don't miss your alarm and oversleep. The breakfast was equally basic - and I would suggest looking elsewhere for options.

I would only recommend to people attending a conference and on a budget.

We loved our stay at Oro Blue Hotel! The whole team was nice and welcoming. The location is excellent, with access to two metro lines and a walkable distance to the convention center. There are plenty of restaurants in the area, and the hotel’s breakfast and coffee machine are great!

I have been staying at \"4-star\" NH hotels in Turin and Milan and thought I would book this \"4-Star\" Oro Blu for an easy walk to San Siro. It was average and old. Turn key instead of key cards. Could hear my neighbors speaking. 2.5/5 starts if Italy/Milan ever does an audit/readjustment. Okay for price, just misleading.

The hotel claims to be close to everything, and while it is close to some things, e.g. McDonals, Grocery Store, Bus Stop, Subway; it is not close to nightlife.
My room was very spacious and included a coffee pod machine and nice smelling toiletries. One of the bed side lamps wasn’t working and the room never got cold enough for my liking despite setting the air conditioner to 18 overnight. Wifi was a pain to connect to. Hotel offers a paid breakfast and was happy to hold my luggage for me after check out.

The smell in the room was the biggest issue - it reeked of rose incense or something of that nature. We had to keep the window open for the duration of our stay to try and air out the room.
The sheets were quite scratchy.
There were scuffs and dents on the walls.
And finally the walls were so thin we could hear the guest in the next room snoring throughout the night.

It's a good location as it's by the San Siro - we flew in for the game. But it was at best a very passable stay.

I don't understand why this is 4-star hotel

The location was good, near a supermarket and a subway station. but I never had this experience the hot water was stopped during the shower in any hotels or accommodations but here. Hot water was coming out at first, and it stopped in 10 minutes. When I told this to the staff, they didn't take it seriously they said they didn't know how long I take showers even though I told them it was 10 minutes. Staff responded but I don't feel they showed sorry to me but excuses. Due to this issue, I had to change the room for each night. And a staff suggested reducing my shower time. He said he was joking after seeing my frozen face but it was not adequate at all. They offered me just a free breakfast only for a day. The thing is I didn't feel comfortable with the attitude when they dealt with this problem.
I understand this is not their fault but they never said sorry for this inconvenience and it felt weird. I wouldn't feel this bad if they showed sorry and didn't take this as a joke. so shame.

I'm not sure who awarded 4 stars, maybe 3 tops.anyway the rooms are well equipped and the area is ideal for a trip to the san siro.metro stop lotto right outside in a residential area with supermarket and McDonald's and not much else,if you aren't going to the football you might want to stay nearer the centre.

The hotel description explains that rooms are equips with air conditioning, however this is not the case all year round. I found out on arrival that the hotel are unable to switch on air conditioning throughout the country until May. The reception staff where helpful, and I did get a written apology from the hotel, but this did somewhat ruin our stay especially as I was travelling with a child. Metro is a 2 min walk away. Lots of places to eat locally.

It was upsetting on the flexibility of the staff and management. I wanted to bring my 13 year old son on this trip but they would not allow accommodations for a 3rd person and in turn refused to refund anything even a portion to make accommodations elsewhere. I ended having to get a room at another hotel so my family could stay together while paying for this one. Very disappointing and will never book here again. I make trips to Europe frequently for business and Italy is one of these locations.

Overall, pretty good hotel. The room is not very modern, but plenty of space for three people. The walls are really, really thin. I could hear people in the room next door just having a simple conversation. Bathroom, especially the shower, is very cramped. There's almost no space to move around in the shower. The breakfast included was nice. Had the usual coffee, pastries, cereal, etc..even eggs. All self serve, buffet style. There's not a whole lot to do in the area, but it's right next to the metro, which was very convenient. There are also a few restaurants nearby if you're just looking for a quick meal. Staff was friendly. Good place to stay at to explore Milan.

Room was spacious and comfortable. The location was very close to Metro and Malpensa Shuttle. But, this area of Milan is not the prettiest. Reminds me of a cross between Milwaukee and Manhatten. Parking might be a challenge if you’re driving. We would stay here again.

Indeed close to everything

The hotel is indeed close to everything because it is close to the metro station Lotto, a supermarkt, Mc donalds and a restaurant. We arrived at Lampugnano bus station and it is only 2 metro stops away.
The room is spacious but very basic interior. The problem in ours was the noise from the busy street and we could hear the lady neighbor who was on the phone. The room also had a distinct cigarette smell. We stayed for a night and it was fine. The breakfast was enough and we like that they could hold our luggage.

Myself and friend went to A C Milan v Juventus game.....hotel was a 15 minute walk to stadium....really ideal.Staff at hotel could not have been more friendly or helpful.Metro station a mere 150 yards from hotel...again perfect for exploring Milan.

Good Choice for a Couple Nights

This hotel is fine for a couple of nights, but I wouldn't recommend a stay for any longer. While the room was clean and spacious, the bathroom drain was clogged, the wood floors make for loud neighbors, the room was stuffy even with the AC on, and the staff seemed indifferent. There are probably better choices in the area.

The hotel's location is most convenient! There is a supermarket right around the corner and is right next to the Lotto metro station, minutes away from nearly anywhere you could want to go in Milano. The staff we very helpful when I asked any questions. The continental breakfast was nice. The only trouble was noise. There was a family staying next to me and they had children, with the wooden floors there was hardly any sound proofing so it was quite loud. Also the sink in the bathroom didn't drain, but I didnt want to kick up a fuss since I was only there for 2 nights and out the whole day. If you bring earplugs-- you should have no issues. Like I said, location was most convenient. Very friendly and helpful hotel staff and the included breakfast was lovely. Highly recommend!

We had a good experience while staying here. We booked a non smoking room (however, I understood that this is a smoke free hotel), but our room was smelling like a smoking one. We addressed this problem to the hotel's staff and finally we ended up in a triple (non smoking) room because there was no double room left. The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast is not extraordinary but it's a good one for the hotel's clasification. San Siro stadium is 2 metro stations away from the hotel so it's a very good choice if you plan to see a football game, but as the metro station is very close you can get around the entire city very easy.

This hotel is good for price. It was clean enough, but we found these creepy bugs around the room a few times. The mattresses are super firm and the pillows flat. The WiFi is free but shoddy. It was one of the only places I could find to sleep 3 people at an affordable rate. The area is quiet and residential. No taxis around. The saving grace was the proximity to the subway, which we found super convenient and easy to use. Tough to find restaurants and bars open at night around here. If I went back to Milan I would bite the bullet and stay closer to the city center.

We stayed two nights on one of the rooms with 3 twin beds. Very clean, great help from the staff to answer all our questions and make good recommendations. A nice restaurant next to the hotel. We walked around to a nice pizzeria and a nice pub for few drinks. The only issue may be the limited hotel parking but there is plenty of public parking around the hotel plus it is free on the weekends. I would stay here again on my next trip to Milano!

The rooms are incredibly spacious for a 3-star hotel and the bed is extra large (180 cms). Very clean and comfortable, in a a very quiet place, a large supermarket nearby and one pizzeria that makes incredibly delicious Italian pizzas (and other things of ourse) in a wood oven and for very reasonable prices. One more major advantage is the underground station just a 100 metres away that will take you anywhere in Milan in a matter of minutes. San Siro stadium is 3 stations away and the Duomo is 10 minutes by underground. The staff were exceptionally nice and helpful, I can't thank Mauro enough, such a serviceable and nice person. Finally, the price is really good value compared to downtown closer, but much more smaller hotels.

Clean, modern hotel but wifi never worked well

We liked the new condition and cleaniness of this hotel but wifi was the huge problem since it never worked well during the stay. It would be ok just for a short stay but not for a long stay or a business trip, required to use wifi.

Nice hotel, close to everything

Being first time in a new city I thought its gone be hard to find the hotel but from the airport people are very nice and helpfull. One guy told me to take the bus number 73 until the center and from there the metro. The tichet is €1,50 for 90 minutes (Bus, metro everything inside the city). Then from the center where is the metro I took M3 which left me at Lotto and from there you need to walk 2 minutes to the hotel. There in the centre you can find a lot of shops. In the metro is very clean as well and the maximum time to wait was 7 minutes for the next train but ussualy takes between 3 and 5 minutes.
From the airport to the hotel I did less than an hour and I saved over €50 (how much would cost a taxi).
The staff at the hotel are nice and polite.
Near hotel is a nice coffee bar, a park and McDonalds in case you get hungry after 20:00 and almost everything is closed :)
Breakfest is good, everything fresh.
In the room you have also a small fridge with drinks , TV and A/C.
Definatelly if I need to go again in Milano I will stay at the same hotel and I will recomend also to my friends.

Hotel un peu vetuste pour un 4 étoiles.
Les portes etaient extrêmement fine et mal isolées. On entend les gens dans le couloir comme si ils etaient dans notre chambre ce qui est super désagréable et ce qui fait que nous avons très mal dormi. L’aspirateur a 9h un dimanche matin n’aide pas non plus. Je ne comprends pas les excellentes notes de cette horel au vue de l’isolation pitoyable. L’avantage est le prix bas et l’emplacement

Wifi hardøy working. Not good cleaning. Dirty floor in room, did not replace dirty glasses. There was an hour at 1-2 am. with high noices, metal to metal sound, garbage removal? Had bery bad sleep in this hotel. Very nice and friendly staff! Breakfast ok. Not coosy room. 4 star hotel??

Nous tenons particulièrement à remercier le personnel pour leur accueil, pour leur flexibilité, ainsi que la dame du petit déjeuner a été tout simplement adorable durant la totalité de notre séjour. Petit bémol pour l’isolation sonore

Comodo per andare a vedere una partita ma 4 stelle sono realmente esagerate.
Arredamento basico, insonorizzazione inesistente, colazione con scelta limitata e c’erano pure le formiche in sala pranzo
