The hotel itself is very nice — clean, comfortable, and well located. The rooms were well maintained and overall the property made a good impression.

We did have two issues during our stay:

First, the built-in hair dryer in our room did not work. I called the front desk and they sent a replacement fairly quickly, which was appreciated. These things happen and it was handled reasonably well.

However, on our last night the light switch for the light outside the bathroom stopped working, leaving the light stuck on. This happened around 11:00 PM, and since we had to wake up at 4:00 AM for a flight, it was quite inconvenient. Maintenance came but was unable to fix the issue. The only option offered at around 11:30 PM was to move rooms, which was not practical at that hour given how exhausted we were and the early departure ahead of us.

As a result, we had to sleep with the light on for the remaining five hours of the night.

At checkout the next morning, no apology or gesture was offered, which was disappointing given the circumstances.

Overall the hotel is nice and clean, but a bit more attention to guest service when issues occur would make a big difference.

Our stay at Art Hotel Navigli was wonderful. The staff was extremely accommodating, the breakfast was absolutely the best we have experienced (fresh fruit and vegetables including ginger for the juicer, even), the art decor remarkable and the room clean and well-appointed. The location - literally two blocks from the M2 metro, surrounded by many restaurants, basically on the canal and within a reasonable walk to the Duomo - is perfect. Highly recommended.

The staff were nice but the hotel itself is very tired, the rooms need updating - they aren't very clean, the bottoms of the shower, the soap dishes are tarnished and peeling. There was dirt under the coffee machine. The air con didn't work so the rooms are very stuffy. My room had a small balcony with ashtray which meant it had been used for people to smoke so my curtains smelt of stale smoke. There was construction noise during the stay.

Nice, friendly staff. Rooms are quite comfortable. My bathroom had a nice tub and pretty spacey. Standard breakfast buffet ( eggs, sausages, ham and cheese, bread, and croissants and other sweet options).
Location is great, on a small street 50 meters from Naviglio Grande. If you go by car, be advised you cannot drive all the way to the hotel entrance, as that street has restricted circulation inside a Limited traffic zone.

First,they ve charged my bank card 12 hours before we get to the reception with 1/3rd of the whole amount which was about 540£ and when we get there,without telling me about this,they ve charged me for the whole stay,so 171£ on top of the whole amount telling me is a pre authorization and i need to wait,i ll have my money back,at some point. They are switching off the heating during the night and you can finally warm up the room after 8 am. Cold freezing in the restaurant where you have breakfast.100% not going back there.

Wonderful boutique hotel just 100 feet from the canal. Complementary happy hour hors d’oiveres every day at 6:30 PM and complementary drinks on arrival. Great breakfast. We enjoyed a street fair along the canal this weekend with hundreds of vendors selling everything imaginable. Close walk to Metro trains and tram.

Room was not cleaned during the day. When I complained I was told it would done at 6.00pm. It was ultimately done when I went out for dinner. When I came late the room was half clean but no cover was on the bed as it disappeared…. when I complained again at midnight someone brought a cover and some sheets after 30 min and made clear to me that I had to make my own bed which I did…. Not a **** star hotel sorry…. Room service is inexistant

Excellent location right off the main canal in Navigli, but also quiet. Five minute walk to the metro station. Delicious breakfast buffet including gluten free bread and other GF options. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Check in time was 2pm which was nice as our flight had gotten in early so it was nice to get into the room earlier in the day. Room was clean and comfortable with windows that opened for fresh air.

Great hotel in a great location! We had to change our traveling plans at the last minute and the manager Eraclio Zoglio was very helpful and understanding in our dealings. The staff in general was very courteous and professional. We will assuredly go back!

Stayed with my family here. The experience was amazing and the staff were kind. Hotel was in a really great area close to everything. We had an early day trip to another city and the staff was kind enough to pack a breakfast for each of us to take for the trip. Anastasia (staff member) was especially kind for doing this.

There seemed to be some sound proofing but the room ontop of mine was dragging furniture every night and yelling and waking me up. Bartender was rude. The thermostat in the room kept changing the air conditioning and it wouldn’t stay on the degree I set it so I was either freezing or waking up hot and having to reset it throughout the night. Breakfast was good. They gave me late checkout. I booked the hotel bc of the gym and the one multi use weight machine was not working bc the cables were out and the free weights they had were not versatile bc of their shape. I was disappointed. I stayed in Milan another night but booked a different hotel

You can walk to the Duomo and most of historic. Put walking shoes on as it's an easy walk but a solid 30 mins or more but a nice walk. Would stay again

We found this hotel to be wonderful! The location adjacent to the canal was great to access all the restaurants and the Saturday vintage/flea market. We stayed only a night, bed was very comfortable, and double room was spacious and had amenities. The morning breakfast was great, the drinks with the afternoon apertivo hit the spot, and the staff from housekeeping to bar to front desk were very nice. I highly recommend staying here!

Great Location, its right near the main area where you would end up at the end of a night out, around restaurants and bars, but also far enough not to hear the noise. I first stayed at the Art Hotel Navigli in March 2008 for a week while studying my Master's degree with Middlesex University London. From then, it has changed as it has gone / is going through a fab renovation. We missed our flight from Milan due to a long delay and had to stay in Milan for the night and the first hotel that came to my mind was this one. Returning 16 years later with the family. The area itself is very charming, full of restaurants and it's only around 25 minute walk from Milan's famous Duomo Cathedral. Professional staff, clean and refurbished hotel - couldnt have asked for more! Highly recommend due to great location!
