I like the atmosphere of this property. I feel very safe here. The beds are really old and uncomfortable. I thought i was getting a 1 bedroom with a nice sofa. It was such a bad wicker sofa. I like the kitchen, we used it a lot.

Absolutely disappointed in this hotel and Expedia. Booked at approximately 9pm. Read check in rules which stated midnight. Arrived at 11:45pm - the security informed us that reception didn’t leave him a key and we wouldn’t be able to stay. The room was already paid. Reception had apparently left early that day. Expedia nor the hotel will give me my money back. Absolute scam.

There is big place with to much potential and has everything thata a guest may need, but the building needs an urgent renewal; all facilitiess, rooms and furnitures must be remodelated.

Ok, some people would like this hotel because of it’s age but for me not so much. I found everything to be outdated. Folks are wonderful but the room was not. The small shower was way to small to turn around properly. The bed sheet was patched. The TV is tube and of poor quality. Couldn’t get the login authorization page for the WIFI to work.

This hotel is a great value. I booked for 2 weeks and had a fantastic time. The accommodations are comfortable and the property is quiet, clean, and secure. The staff are attentive and very helpful. Lastly, the beach is right across the street and the view from the room's balcony was breathtaking.

The room was very outdated in all aspects. Old fridge that was kept close with a latch. Tv was 13” with just one channel. Bathroom very outdated. Wifi did not work on the property for IPhone users. Wifi signal did not work for android users in our room.

Worst hotel ever. We stayed on the 6th floor and the elevator was a death trap! Hotel itself is in need of repair BADLY. The restaurant/bar wasn’t open, but I don’t think we would have eaten there anyways. The mattresses were very very hard. AC didn’t work in one of the bedrooms. TV was very old and didn’t even work. The shower in the bathroom was disgusting. We were supposed to 4 nights and left after the first night. The front desk Igor was nice upon arrival but didn’t even ask us why we were leaving early. I’m sure he knew why! DO NOT GO HERE!

The property is clearly not designed for comfort or safety. We booked 2 nights and when asked for a room cleaning they denied our request. The air conditioner was dripping water on the bed which left the sheets and pillows soiled. Looked like someone tried to fix it by placing Toilet paper in the a/c unit. Looked like black mold was in the unit as well and particles dropped on the bed. We decided not to stay at the property. Would not recommend this property.

For the price......... we need to look at that and the fact that this is a quaint sort small hole in the wall that ... yes could be better ..... but ..... the staff was very courteous which made the experience a good one...... this place is awesome if you go on nonscheduled holidays they celebrate because the crowd can make or break the atmosphere. Other than that my experience was very good....

This is my 4th time in this property. Stayed for two nights for the weekend and enjoyed its convenient location. It's located on the newest part of Juan Dolio, close to all of the posh resorts. The price-quality ratio is very good. The beach is just a merely 4 minute walk. If you are planning to pay the reservation on site, please be aware that the hotel does not accept credit card payments. Nevertheless, you can always use your credit card on the Orbitz website by selecting the pay in advance mode. The property is close to restaurants like Sal Marina, El Mesón and to some small grocery stores that the locals call \"Colmado\". Also there's a restaurant on the hotel's premises. If you are on a budget and looking for a place to sleep and hit the beach, this is the place to stay.

The place was a little run down and some of the residents there were longer term, but it was cheap and clean and it had great water pressure in the shower unlike many of the places on the island.

Very good price/quality ratio

Had a nice time staying at this hotel over the weekend. The beach: it is a mere 5 minute walk from the hotel's lobby.The parking lot is located next to the property which is located in a safe and quiet area. During my stay I could not hear any sounds of passing vehicles or motorcycles or noises which helped a lot if you're trying to get a break from civilization. Hotel staff was helpful, courteous and accommodating. They even were kind enough to let me overstay for 4 hours after checkout time arrived. Although the hotel has its own restaurant, there are several other ones (I highly recommend \"Sal Marina\" btw) at walking distance if you want to get a taste of the local cuisine. Will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Room was ok although I was looking forward to a room with an ocean view, but got different one. Some ants inside the bathroom, cleaning service comes in the morning between 8 and 10 and if You don't want it then, You will not get other chance. Front office people were very polite. Balcony door could not close. TV was working, but sometimes with no sound. No Wi-Fi in the room. Pool is nice and crowded in weekend. Beach is across the street, but not very nice, You might want to walk or go by car little further for better ones.
All in all, it looks like a regular Dominican small size hotel because I've tried some and it was similar.

If you want to experience local foods at an affordable price then this place is good. Dont expect luxury. Very dated. But for the price is ok. They do have overnight Security. If you walk 15 minutes north along the beach youll find really nice beach and not dirty. Directly across this hotel 3 minute walk to beach. Many plastic bottles, garbage overall. Not nice. Staff is excellent, will help you book tours, etc. It makes sense to pay cheap rate and then go on a nice tour for the day.

Great place, I enjoyed everything, wonderful staff, some not Dominican (eastern European) but all very friendly, I'd go again. (NOTE: this is the Rep. Dom. people! Don't expect perfection like it's the USA, it's a developing country so PLEASE be prepared and ENJOY all the culture and people and all the little problems, it's fun!).

It was dirty and smelly. They also did not honor Hotels.com's advertised price. They charged me much more upon arrival. Most hallways don't have continual lighting, which is dangerous.

Room was never cleaned. Roaches in room. Hotel pool was too small, dirty water. Locals around pool were too loud, smoking on pool ground, loud music. Beach in front of hotel is very dirty, guests must walk a lot to find clean beaches that are usually in front of the expensive hotels around. Hotel is not worth it.

This hotel was nowhere near acceptable. All old furniture in this hotel. The tv was the old fashioned big back style and was not even located in the bedroom. It was in living room. The air conditioning unit appeared unsafely installed in the ceiling directly above the head of the bed. The very old refrigerator's door needed to be forced closed. Apparently TWO many stars were given to the this hotel. It is a 1star rated hotel in my opinion.

I would say that base on the price I pay for per night, I would not complain too much. Just that they need to clean rooms daily and not have to let guest be asking for their rooms to be cleaned. I slept on my sheets for 3 nights before I had to ask for a change of sheets. And the section that should be your shower area, it is so small only a small person can be comfortable bathing and the most disturbing thing with my room even though I was on the third floor, 2 of my slide door can't be locked they are basically sea blast jam,in the open position

Cleanliness and lack of attentiveness from staff.

Room was not clean properly. Bed sheets and pillow covers never change. Also there was dry blood on the pillow cases and holes on the bed sheets.

They are in a good location and if they improve on these issues, I would stay there again.

Bargain Stay

I got an incredible price for this hotel, so for the price, I do not have too much to complain about. The only problem(s) I ran into was their seemed to be water leaking on the floor in the bathroom a little bit and I am unsure where the water was coming from. Also there were only a few staff that spoke English, but I managed nonetheless. With that being said the staff were friendly and accommodating.

The hotel is exactly what pay is what you get. First, the hotel lobby staff after 7:00pm is the guard and he has no idea of what is going on. I hope yo my don't encounter any problems. Bed are horrible and uncomfortable. Very clean, but during our stay we got a companion: a cricket. Nice morning view. Questionable parking security (i thought my car was not gonna make it ) pool is ok, don't expect much. Didn't eat, so no comments there, but by the looks of the kitchen, I wouldn't either. Bar staff was very friendly. I think I met the owner, really nice guy.. He is like 70.
