Overall we enjoyed our stay at Emotions, their staff are incredible and very hard working people. But I didn’t like the room, the bathroom had no door and the toilet’s door didn’t have a lock. Everything was very small, you could barely fit inside the toilet. I didn’t like that the shower glass door had no privacy and was completely see through. The AC unit was not a central air. We were sleeping under the blowing cold air all nights and it’s wasn’t comfortable. I found this place to be not very kids friendly. The pool was risky, despite the kids area, and the kids club appeared to be very old and dated. The coffee shop was amazing and became my favorite place to hang out.

The food was absolutely excellent! On the downside, the air conditioning in the room leaked a lot of water and wasn't cooling properly. Another quite annoying detail was the Elite Collection Club staff being too pushy with their sales pitches. Aside from that, everything else was excellent, and I recommend it.

El hotel es muy bueno para personas con gustos sencillos y que no tengan problemas con espacios pequeños. El área de adultos podría estar mejor acondicionada en el área de la piscina y jacuzzi, mejor mantenimiento. Los equipos telefónicos son obsoletos y no sirven. No vi duchas en el área de adultos y tampoco servicio de bartender para esa área. Las reservaciones para los restaurantes son muy limitadas y con muy poco tiempo de antelación. Tomando en cuenta algunos detalles y actualizando algunas áreas y mejor mantenimiento de la piscina y playa seguro atraerían mejor turismo exterior. En lo personal me gusta el hotel, la comida del buffet es muy buena y en el área de la playa se puede disfrutar de una o dos opciones buena para comer si te da hambre después de la cena, el área de la piscina tiene una cafetería para degustar un buen café y un pequeño bar para disfrutar tragos que no están en el todo incluido. El equipo de aire acondicionado necesita cambiarse.

The kids club was always closed. We were there for 7 days and were not able to use it. One morning we waited there 20 minutes past “opening” time and no one ever showed up. If you have kids go elsewhere.

GIRLS TRIP - We had a wonderful time despite the weather (raining).
Staff/Waiter- Zoraida was excellent amongst others, pleasant/friendly/cheerful/accommodating
Restaurants - Mexican and Dominican were our favorite! The fried chicken from the beach area is a MUST!!!
Entertainers - Luis and Ramon were awesome! Shows/bingo/miniature golf/night club all great!
Room - AC worked/clean room/spacious/balcony

Suggestions to make stay more pleasant:
-Remove the extra charge if you get there early before check-in time in order to be able to eat/use facilities (never heard of such thing - Esmeralda needs more training on how to relay message)
-Let you make reservations for dinner when you check-in for all the days and NOT have to wake up early 9am to make the reservation for that night only.
- Change policy of having to return the towel daily.
- Provide umbrella at check-in like the towel card since NOT all rooms had them as we were told.
- Phone was not working so it was difficult to communicate of any issues presented (needed iron/umbrella/leak in bathroom)
- Coffee should be provided at the buffet/breakfast, they have a cute coffee shop/pastries (which should give larger cups) so that was a little inconvenient early in the morning when you need that coffee!!

Overall, this resort is great/small/everything you need is close by, great staff/food/entertainment! I recommend and definitely go back.
Hope management takes suggestions into consideration and make adjustments.

The hotel had no running water for more than six hours, and the electricity was constantly going out. The food quality was terrible, and my husband became sick with what appeared to be food poisoning after eating at the resort.
To make matters worse, I developed a severe ear infection after spending time in the pool. According to my doctor, the infection was likely caused by exposure to contaminated pool water. I am still dealing with the infection, facial swelling, pain, and multiple rounds of antibiotics days after leaving the resort.
The only staff member who provided good service was the gentleman who escorted us to our room. Unfortunately, management was unhelpful and dismissive when I raised concerns about my husband's illness and requested assistance with medical expenses. Instead of helping, I was asked to sign a document stating that the hotel was not responsible.
This was one of the worst resort experiences my family has ever had. Between the lack of water, repeated power outages, health issues, and poor handling of customer concerns, I cannot recommend this resort.

This hotel is not what you see in the pictures, I ended up extremely disappointed when I entered the room, super bad humidity inside the room, completely broken AC. Had to book the stay on a better hotel near by. I lost 3 hours of stay between the time I arrived there went thru this, had to do an Immediate checkout and got to the next hotel.

We went as a group of eight girls; the staff harassed us quite a bit—though I realized that this happens everywhere in the Dominican Republic. The hotel is okay; it needs more care, as it has a lot of potential. The Wi-Fi doesn't work in the rooms—at least, it didn't work in the room we stayed in. Breakfast was okay; I don't recommend the Japanese restaurant, but the Italian one is very good!

I reported a water drip coming from the ceiling (apparently condensation from air conditioner duct). The drops were falling exactly over the toilet, which made it difficult to use it.
They never sent anyone to fix it.

We were a family of 5 we got two towels two water. There was no doors to the toilet and bathe area. My teenagers daughters was upset because they had to bathed and poop in an open area. I was stoped from getting into the restaurant with my slippers while looking at other folks getting in. I don't know if it was because of me color. I can say besides the moment at the restaurant every on else was mostly friendly. They were all focus on selling their membership more than anything else. The kids were in the pool and I want to go but all their interest was on selling their membership. I was not interested but they was like\" let me show you , let me explain and it became very boring. I enjoyed the culture show. The food was like i had enough by lunch time on Saturday

El servicio es muy bueno, la comida 10 de 10, aquí solo mejoraría el saber la capacidad para evitar que cosas se agoten temprano, la limpieza excelente, lo único que no me gustó fue que me cobraron un estoy check in, pues llegué a las 1:00 p.m y la entrada era a las 3:00, esto solo para que pudiera comer y estar en las instalaciones, pues las habitaciones no me las entregaron a tiempo. Nos sentimos bien y complacidos solo hubo un detalle negativo se supone que vienes a vacacionar y salir de la rutina no deben prohibir entrar al buffet en camiseta playera no debe ser obligatorio el uso de mangas, y más si estas lejos de ti habitación y no tienen transporte recurrente, ya luego de esto super bien la habitación super acogedora, el bufete es excelente muy buenos sabores, en la animación la chica Rosaura fue muy amable y nos trató super bien en la clase de aeróbicos 10/10.

Staff very accommodating, I booked 1 day overnight stay in a swim-up room and and check-in and check out were smooth. would have given 4 starts overall but the food at buffet was average to slightly below with minimal variety. All other restaurants were booked that night upon at our 3pm check-in. Wish we would have given opportunity to book a reservation for restaurant at cehck in.

The place it’s ok for the price. I would never go back. The beach is the most disappointing part. It’s is not what we all see on the pics. Far from it. The food is ok. The drinks is probably the best part. The rooms is big but it has no bathroom door. So if you need to do number two everyone knows, sees, and smells. The back pool is also the quiet area. Too much going on on the main pool. Adults and kids screaming and yelling. Not sure why. The property is in good condition request first dollar accommodations. No elevator to get to the second or third floors. Net net. You get what you pay for. We experienced it…

This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at in all my life. The staff weren’t friendly nor helpful
The food is terrible and tasteless.
I paid for a swim out suite and the room was out dated and of poor quality. The bathroom got flooded my very first night. My room doors panel kept on malfunctioning and had to go to the front desk multiple times to get this addressed but the worst part of this entire experience is not even 24 hours into my stay the entire resort’s electricity and water stopped running. The hotel was out of running water and light for more than 5 hours - there was no emergency system put in place and no one that was properly handling such a serious incident. I was forced to leave in the middle of the night at my own expense to a different hotel. This was truly the worst vacation stay I’ve ever experienced.

3/5 resort doesn’t have much options for food only one buffet and the reserved restaurant are extremely strict in dress code plus reservations can only be done at a certain hour. The snack bar is small same options everyday. Cleaning staff complain when room service is requested plus they gossip about the rooms and the people thinking one can’t understand their language. The coffee shop is increíble. The buffet food is not that great.

Customer service was great. Staff was really helpful, polite and friendly. The path you walk to get to the beach close to the italian restaurant smells terrible, just like the area close to the wood bridge where there is a fish tank. They should do something about this. Food was really tasty and there was a wide variety of things to choose from. Alcoholic beverages on the other hand were not good since cocktails were made with lots of artificial ingredients. I suggest changes are made. There's a coffee shop which I loved. It is open the whole day and they offer hot and iced coffee. This is part of the all inclusive plan.

The bar was stoked and the air-conditioning was very cold. I had to turn off and get a blanket.
Most of the staff are not people or service friendly.
A few that stood out were Ana in the buffet, Alejandro in the timeshare area, Elias that took us over to the timeshare, the young lady that served us in the \"reserved\"outside timeshare bar area.
Our daughter was ill 2/2 water contamination and was limited on what she could eat as she was bedridden.There was minimal help in getting food to her from the folks in charge. Room service was not available on several occasions to bring food to her. Our VIP status meant nothing.

Well where should I start.. welcoming was good until we got to the room! What a disappointment.. not what it shows ! Motel 6 is more like it ! Refrigerator was broken then went to call them and phone didn’t work. No tv remote .. AC was great .. but ceiling leaked over the toilet when it was on .. Not all pools are accessible.. Building 4 has an adult pool for them only .. all pools close at 5 . We stayed in building 8.. I think it’s for the discounted rooms from other websites.. this building looked different from the others.. The night time beach bar staff was excellent! They are open 24 hours.. The food was ok.. Not bad not good.. Alcohol below budget.. coffee house not everything is free.. Shower head broke on 4th day. I wouldn’t recommend but if you do Elite club ! And also don’t take the welcome gift .. it’s like a time share slot you have to do and is a waist of time !!90 min to 2 hours.The Bach was nice swim able.. but vendors bother you.. and also there are cats in the buffet while you eat .. and dogs on the beach ..

We had a leak on the ceiling in the bathroom. It was dripping into the sink and on the sink all day and night. The room phone was not working. We contacted hotel staff by What’s App and in person. The drip was not fixed. Our friends who stayed in a different room had the same problem.

Great cleaning personal, entertainment was great Dominican show of the night. Horrible check in, waited to long. Room were available after 5pm. Showers ban in 2 of 3 rooms. Water spread all over. I requested the 3 rooms to be together and I got the three room in opposite and different floor. It was a nightmare.

I got to the hotel at about 1:30pm at which time i was told that no rooms were ready and i have to wait till 3:00pm
after returning to get a room, there was a hotel staff working on the lock, room was not ready and given a different room.
This room now had a clogged shower, over flowing and water running into the room like a pool. I was told by the staff that it was my fault for not placing a towel to block the water.
no accountability on hotel just reflection.
Restaurant food was limited and simply horrible.
I would never recommend or go back there ever again.

Our stay was incredible. The beach was clean and the staff all work so hard. A few people in particular we loved to see everyday. The restaurants were all great. Buffet was always the last option which was always a hit or miss. A few themed nights were good. The gift shop is well enough stocked and we had to make a few emergency stops there. The drinks were strong and did the job, good service as well. First time in Dominican, was an absolute pleasure. We also booked saona island experience/all day excursion through the resort and was 10/10 (pretty touristy though). The landscapers work very hard and plants looks healthy and lush. Beautiful property

Doesn't deserves the price. All bad experience started with the check in. We paid for ocean view room and was \"upgradeed\" to a room facing a wall. Pools was cold. Food was bad, one of the kids get sick. Almost impossible to book a restaurant and cooking there was bad too.
Worst experience ever. Room also wi bathroom problems. Will never return to this hotel and not recommend for anyone.
