The rooms definitely need to be upgraded…rugs are stretched…the bathtub was very old and all marked up. Other than that, we would stay there again.

Amazing service from start to finish. The staff are genuinely warm, polite, and always ready to help. The hotel’s gym is fully equipped with weights, bench, treadmill, bike, towels, TV, and even has an adults pool and hot tub beside it, perfect if you want quiet time away from the busy kids’ waterpark. The waterpark itself is fantastic, with an area for younger kids, completely separated from older ones, which is very safe. The water is warm and clean, there’s a hot tub on the side, and plenty of seating to relax while watching the kids play. Warm towels are constantly available, and everything is spotless and well maintained. When is full of kids, staff comes and supervise the waterslides so it doesn't become a problem when all kids are trying to slide at the same time. It opens until 10pm which is very convenient if you arrive on a late flight.

The hotel restaurant serves all meals (breakfast isn’t complimentary) and offers room service until 11 pm. There’s also a bar, plus a Tim Hortons just a short walk away. Even though the hotel was full during our stay, the rooms were impressively quiet. We skipped housekeeping because the kids slept late, but the staff still brought fresh towels, coffee, and toiletries every morning. There’s a cozy dining area if you prefer takeout, which is great with kids. Parking is spacious, with indoor and outdoor options.

We had an amazing experience. Don’t hesitate to book, this place is a gem.

You can't actually use the pool here. Despite the listed amenities showing you can from 8am -10pm they make you reserve one hour only ahead of time. Very annoying and disappointing. Makes travelling with little kids very frustrating. Just stay somewhere else where you can actually use things as advertised. Oh and when I asked the manager to show me where this was stated she said it's policy and she can cancel my reservation if I wanted, which is funny bc late cancellation actually is a listed policy when you book.

I enjoyed the stay, the pool was nice and the water park portion was fun, though the slippery tiled floors were a little unnerving to walk on. The stay was lovely and staff was helpful, the room service was nice. Scheduling the shuttle was helpful, and the driver was great, bringing me to the right spot at the airport. The beds were nice and comfy, but a little too tall, trying to climb into.

Rooms were okay. Hall way smelled disgusting. Pools we're skin burning. Baindaids on the floor in the pool. While in the hot tub, maintenance department brought over "baking soda" to pour in. No staff in the pool area, so lots of unattended children doing what ever they want. Had to wait 37 mins with wet kids for towels to be brought to the pool. Restaurant brought me the wrong drink 3 times in a row (not a special drink off any sort, literally off the menu)

Our family was disappointed that upon check in we were told we could only book in to use the pool for one hour. Apparently you get an email when you book but we didn’t revive anything explaining the pool access, maybe it’s an issue when booking through Expedia? Either way we weren’t impressed since we booked the hotel for the pool specifically and the staff do in fact kick you out after your hour is up. We did get to go back in the morning without booking but that wasn’t our plan, we did want to get travelling back home but our son of course wanted the extra time in the pool. Slides are fun. Hotel needs to be updated. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the staff there.

Went there for the swimming pool and it was great. The facilities all around is due for an upgrade but was well maintained. The queen beds in the room looked to be upgraded so the sleep was comfortable.

Nothing special at all. Convenient for travel. Free shuttle but not 24 hours. Very dated and could be cleaner. For $300 a night I would recommend going elsewhere. The front staff was not helpful and seemed annoyed by any questions we had. There is no complimentary coffee or breakfast in the lobby. Very convenient BUT very basic for the price.

Hotel was full of screaming youth hockey players so did not go near the pool but it looked like a lot of fun. :) Rooms were large and well kept. Staff was very friendly. Nice location close to the airport. I would visit them again.

We chose this hotel as it was close to Hwy 2, had a pool with slides, and was close to the attractions we would be seeing during our trip.

The hotel is also close to the airport which offers great views of planes coming and going. They can be noisy so being ear plugs if you are sensitive to noise while sleeping

The common areas and room were very clean. Had no hesitation about letting my child play on the floor in our room. Bathroom was sparkling clean.

The staff were very kind and welcoming.

The breakfast buffet offered many hearty and delicious options including French toast, pancakes eggs, bacon or ham, sausage, fruit, toast, pastries, cereal, milks, juice. The buffet price reflects the quality and variety being offered. Large seating area, finding a table was not a problem. The dinner pasta buffet was equally enjoyable, although would lose its appeal after multiple nights as the offerings are the same. Did not notice many/any gluten free options.

The kids pool and waterpark are amazing. A bit small for swimming but when not at capacity it is ok. You will need to book a time on weekend evenings as it is very busy. My only concern on our whole stay was the lack of urgency staff had when they were told a child had pooped in the pool. My family and I left when it was not dealt with immediately. Accidents happen but it needed to be netted out and the pool treated immediately.

Otherwise a fantastic stay and we will happily return for our next trip to Calgary

Room is overall clean but you have to request for kettle, toothbrush/ toothpaste yourself. No slippers. Indoor swimming pools are the most attractive places but water is too cold and hot tub is so small. Indoor underground parking is nice, clean.

Mold on our bathroom ceiling! Only 5 pieces of Kleenex pushed into the little slot for tissue. The parking underground is ridiculously tight (we didn’t even dare go down to the third level) and when we came out of the garage we had to walk up stairs with all our stuff. I pre-registered to expedite our check in and yet the gentleman on the front desk was very slow….twice he tried to give me the wrong sheet of paper to sign when i had told him my name 3 times! On our first morning housekeeping knocked on our door at 8:30 to ask if we wanted housekeeping that day??? The breakfast buffet states a “minimal price” for morning breakfast, we asked how much it was and were told $16.95 so we said ok, and sat down. When our bill came they charged $3.45 extra for coffee (isn’t that usually included in a buffet? Upon deciding not to park in the underground on night two we drove all around the building to see if there was an alterior entrance to the front door and there was not. The parking lots are way to the sides of the building and with wind gusts up to 90km/hr and snow one morning it wasn’t great to have to walk to that parking lot…nothing close.
Now to the swimming pool! We booked this hotel because we thought the pool would be great! No one told us you had to pre book what time you wanted to swim at and you could only swim for an hour at a time! There were so many kids without supervision it was terrible. Oodles of little ones in the hot tub doing scuba diving. Etc

Even though this hotel was out of our way, we booked specifically because of the waterpark. We put other plans on hold Friday evening so the kids can have a swim night. The water in the pool was freezing. Someone had to come out and fix it as it was unbearable. It would take hours for the pool to warm up after the maintenance was done and we had to check out the next day. The overall
Vibe at the hotel was not the same as two years ago when we last visited. Front desk was not as pleasant or welcoming when checking in.

We’ve staid here many times over the years and have always enjoyed our stay but this may have been the last time.
When we checked in we didn’t have any towels, rooms are getting run down and need updating, kids pool was freezing cold both times that we went, and the floor in pool area was quite dirty it gave me an ick feeling. We also tried the dinner buffet in the restaurant and was not good at all. Not sure if we will be back but I have to say the staff are always amazing. So friendly and helpful.

Staff were nice but, because they didn’t accept the only credit card company (KoHo) that I’m with, I was charged for my room and a $400 deposit before we could even step foot into the room… if it weren’t my sons 12th bday I would have walked away. On top of which the room we were given (obviously after I gave them $600) already had broken chairs and shower fixtures. Then, when we checked out, we had to sit in the lobby and wait while they “checked out our room” before they would provide the $400 deposit…. I’m not sure if this is a normal practice but my children and I definitely felt like we weren’t welcome and would be held accountable if they felt we weren’t. *****Ps: if you left an Apple Watch (navy blue strap) in Room 121 - we returned it to the front desk when we found it above the Murphy bed.

The hotel rooms were pretty clean but the property itself is a little dated. What was the most disappointing was the pool experience. The water was ice cold! We booked this hotel so that our family could enjoy the pool area for the day but we couldn’t even get in. We watched dozens of people take at least 5-10 mins just to get into the pool. It was horrible! Little shivering bodies everywhere. We are so used to the temps at Mac Island in Fort McMurray that this was a huge deal breaker as to whether or not we would book here in the future, unfortunately…

We regularly travel to Calgary to visit our daughter and her family. We love the pools, and waterslides, our grand daughter can't get enough, ha ha.
The lounge and restaurants are perfect for us. We usually eat most meals at the hotel. The pizza and pasta buffet is excellent and the Easter Brunch is amazing. My wife, daughter and grand daughter always get their nails done when we are there, the nail lady is fantastic.
This has become our hotel of choice in Calgary not only for the amenities but the staff are the best I have seen anywhere. I hope they are treated well by Best Western. Anyway, until next time.

There are several things with the pool that are broken. They say they're the warmest pool in the city. It was freezing cold. Always looking for towels. For the amount we pay the Jets didn't work the water fall downstairs in the hot tub didn't work and again freezing cold pool water. No bacon at breakfast multiple menu prices and miscommunication regarding the menu bar should be open longer
