Stayed during March 2026. Hotel is still on heater mode and could get quite warm on some days.
Hotel is located between People’s Square and Nanjing Road East station. A 2 mins walk to Nanjing Pedestrian Shopping Street.
Hotel has laundry facilities on 5th floor which is complimentary for guests.
The design of the room is quite strange. As the shower area is small, you have the leave your clothes outside when you shower. Not convenient if you are shy with putting on clothes in front of your room mate.

Clean room but cold reception area and difficult to view signage at night to check if arrived at correct location .The hotel however was very clean , comfortable and very near local eateries . Convenient bank ATM machine nearby and also HOHO bus stop. Nanjing Road and Food hall a short walk away . Breakfast was varied and a superb selection. Room service was limited but very good too

The only issue was the breakfast location on the ground floor was exposed to cold air now that it is going into Winter and we had to dine with our heavy coat even though we are in the hotel building. This was due to continuous opening of the doors. Not sure how this can be fixed but all our food was cold even before we can eat it

I had a truly pleasant and comfortable stay at Holiday Inn Shanghai. The location was convenient, making it easy to explore the nearby attractions. The room was clean, cozy, and well maintained.

The staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile. Their thoughtful service made the experience even more enjoyable. Amenities were great as well, especially the breakfast selection, which offered a nice variety to start the day right.

Overall, it was a smooth, enjoyable, and memorable stay. I would definitely choose Holiday Inn Shanghai Nanjing Road again on my next visit. Highly recommended!

The hotel is very well positioned just across the Nanjing Road and the staff is well trained to help with all your needs. The breakfast was very good, they were varying it all the time and well supplied until the late breakfast hour. If we will visit Shanghai again, we will definitely book our accommodation here again and again.

I had stayed in that property since it was newly built but under a different name. The current property or the room I was given was more basic and not much frills ( like carpet) but the room was clean.

I had a wonderful stay at Holiday Inn Nanjing Road. The hotel's location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Shanghai, with easy access to shopping, dining, and major attractions. Whether you're here for business or leisure, you can't ask for a more convenient base.

What truly stood out, though, was the exceptional service I received from Kai at the concierge desk. He went above and beyond in helping me coordinate several Taobao deliveries during my stay. Thanks to his efficiency and attention to detail, retrieving my packages was completely seamless and stress-free. It made my stay that much more enjoyable and hassle-free.

Highly recommend this hotel for both its prime location and the top

Awesome property, this was the second hotel in my Shanghai trip and I can tell you, comparing with the first hotel we stayed this hotel is fabulous! Super well located, spacious room, well maintained and new property, super friendly staff and they also communicate very well in English. Fairly good breakfast, hotel was able to handle airport transportation for us easily. I will absolutely stay in the hotel again when visiting Shanghai

Great area with subway station nearby but taking a cab using DiDi app is pretty cheap too. Staff have been very nice but not all speak English so have a translation app downloaded. Rooms are comfortable and modern.

It was located at a super busy street of Shanghai, but not so close to the subway (about 5 blocks). The food services were hard to find nearby. The breakfast was available in hotel but not so decent. When we arrived, we were asked to wait due to the reason that room style we booked was limited (the family room), and it was delayed again later when we came back. The front desk wasn’t able to understand English well, but there was some friendly Indian staff in breakfast place. The whole inside of the building and our room are dusty, Air temperature seemed high indoor due to the hot weather, and the room is small with a poor design. A king bed with a single bed room provided only one chair with a small little table. The tiny night stands failed to provide enough area even for a pocket sized Bible, which I found on the floor in the morning.

Overall the stay was fine. Had some hiccups with the cleanliness of my room but it was quickly remedied. The location is they key plus of this hotel as it’s close to Nanjing Street and the Bund. However, the lack of a password protected internet meant their system was slow and barely usable. Would not recommend staying here if you rely on Internet at all.

The hotel DOES NOT HAS AIR CONDITIONING to cool my room!!! The temperature in my room was 86 degrees (67 degrees Fahrenheit outside, plus sunlight/green-house effect from the sun). I complained and the hotel employee said the air flow system was switched to heating mode so they can't cool my room. They suggested opening the window and brining me an electric fan. I did both (used the fan and opened the window) and it was still too hot. What kind of hotel doesn't let you individualize your room temperature? The hotel's cooling/heating system is a total fail. Travelers be warned about this hotel's sub-par, disappointing air conditioning system.

客室が汚すぎました。
現地基準では値段相応のクオリティなのかもしれませんが、チェックイン直後の清掃されたはずのシャワールームのシャンプー台には髪の毛の塊があり、床のど真ん中には前の利用者のものと思われる耳栓が落ちていました。
明らかに掃除がされておらず、ベッドも本当に清掃されているのか不安なほど部屋が汚かったです。

天井の窪みには蜘蛛の巣が大量で、お金を払って滞在する場所ではないと感じました。

チェックインした次の日にすぐにチェックアウトして（まだあと2日間の滞在が残っていたが）、返金ももらえずに別のホテルに移りました。

汚れ耐性、害虫耐性の無い方は絶対におすすめしません。

このホテルを早々にチェックアウトして、まともなホテルに移ったので旅全体は満足でしたが、このホテルには絶対に二度と泊まりません。

리워드로 나름 저렴한 가격에 예약했습니다. 상하이에 워낙 가성비 좋다는 호텔이 많아 호텔 예약에 고민이 많았는데 결론적으로 너무 좋았어요!

방을 업그레이드 해주셔서 난징로드뷰의 방이었는데 방에서 경치를 감상할 수 있어 좋았고 어매니티도 넉넉했습니다. 여행기간 비가 많이 왔는데 큰 우산을 빌릴 수 있어 좋았어요. 청결에 예민한 편인데 걸리는 부분 하나 없었고 방컨디션 사진과 동일합니다. 위치도 만족스럽고 직원분들도 친절하셨어요. 이제껏 다닌 호텔 중에 손에 꼽을 정도로 좋았어요. 추천합니다~!

部屋はかなり広く食事用ができる丸テーブルと椅子が2つありました。大人2人で泊まったのですが何故か布団カバーが子供用の絵柄で、子供用のテントも置いてありました。なんの支障もないので部屋の交換等はお願いしませんでした。タブはなくシャワーのみ。トイレ、シャワーそれぞれ戸があったの
で便利でした。朝食も美味しかったです。早めに行ったので待ち時間はありませんでした。
