In my opinion as somebody who has travelled and stayed in many hotels over 40 years in business this hotel should not be rated 5 Star it is at best a 3-4 star

The hotel is very clean with great staff who try very hard to please the guests

The position of the hotel is misleading as from pictures on Expedia it’s appears to be on the beach it is positioned one street back from the beach looking over an older hotel

The pictures on the beach show sunbeds that belong to the hotel but are situated in front of a bar that serves drinks on behalf on the hotel

The pool at the hotel is very small and cramped with no space between sunbeds

As a plus the breakfast buffet was very good and the rooms are well appointed

My overall feeling is a hotel that has great staff offering an out standing service but lacks the facilities and position to be considered 5 star

Vivi on reception and every member of staff from the moment we arrived were amazing and couldn't have done anything more to have made our stay any better.
Hotel was smaller than we normally stay at and maybe my teenage daughter missed a few activities she would ordinarily look forward to but the Cabana Blu hotel was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and provided a perfect environment to relax and wind down. Exactly what we needed.
Food without question at the main restaurant was consistently superb throughout our stay. Selection was varied, fresh and well presented. Waiters and waitresses were always attentive.
Of the al acarte resturants the Asian was our favourite.
Georgia in the Spa left my wife and daughter feeling wonderful.
Hotel location toward one end of town is ideal. Walk 5 minutes one way and have the beech and coast road pretty much to yourself. In the evening walk the opposite way for the same time time to find shops and restaurants.
Highly recommend a stay at the Cabana blu

We had a fantastic time at Cabana Blue Hotel! The place was perfect for a fun and relaxing getaway with friends. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome — everyone was super friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything we needed.

The location couldn’t have been better — close to everything yet peaceful enough to truly unwind. One of the highlights of our stay was definitely the food. Every meal was full of flavor, and there was a great variety to choose from. Whether you’re into local dishes or international cuisine, there’s something for every taste — and it was all delicious!

The hotel had everything we needed to enjoy our stay to the fullest. Whether we were hanging out by the pool, exploring the area, or just relaxing in our rooms, everything was comfortable and convenient.

Overall, a great experience! I would definitely recommend Cabana Blue Hotel to anyone looking for a fun, stress-free trip with great food, wonderful people, and good vibes. Can’t wait to come back!

Cute boutique hotel

The hotel is a small boutique style hotel. Mainly couples present. Small pool area and access to loungers on the beach. Service at the bar is lovely. Georgina and Athina were lovely receptionists and always willing to help and give advice. Thank you to Vivi for your recommendations and support in booking activities. The chef and dinning team are lovely and there is variety each night in the buffet area. Disappointed to find out that you must book the other two restaurants three-five days in advance, we were only there got a short time but they managed to find a reservation spot (even though the restaurant wasn’t busy on any of the nights we were present). I also noticed restaurants would close ten to fifteen minutes before all inclusive times ended, which is slightly frustrating. The room was cute, not much wardrobe and no drawer space so mainly lived out the suitcase. The shower needs a deep clean, hardly any water came through the shower head as if needs cleaning. Overall a lovely short stay, close to the main Kardamaina town filled with bars and restaurants. It’s a must to see the sunset rise over the mountains and take a short 20minute ferry to Bodrum, Turkey!

Nice hotel but sea view from pool area blocked out by apartment blocks. Swimming pool too cold to use in October. Food in restaurant good but lacked variety. Sauna and steam room at extra charge which was disappointing. Gym too small

Wonderful hotel and amazing staff

Wonderful stay, couldn't fault the food, drink and service. Probably the best hotel in Kos. Rooms were really comfortable, but feel a bit misled, as the junior suite is smaller than most standard rooms and view was not as described (no pool or garden view, only rooftop). Initially felt very let down and wanted to change hotel, but glad we stayed and in the end we didn't spend much time in the room. The staff were amazing and made it really enjoyable stay for us.

Had a 1 week stay beginning of May, hotel was great very clean, room had everything we needed again very clean with a lovely balcony and all the staff were excellent!! Close to the beach and other bars and restaurants, would definitely return 😀

Das Badezimmer war für eine Suite eine Frechheit. Es gab lediglich ein kleines Bad mit Dusche und WC, jedoch ohne Duschwand. Nach dem Duschen war das ganze WC nass. Der Whirlpool war dreckig und zunächst defekt.

We arrived at Cabana Blu, located in a charming neighborhood—not the fanciest area, but full of character. This hotel really stands out. It’s brand new, and we had booked the penthouse.

The penthouse exceeded our expectations: stunning views of the mountains and the sea, a spacious terrace with a jacuzzi, two loungers, two chairs, and a side table. The bed is in the center of the room, so waking up to that view was magical. There was also a Bluetooth speaker for relaxing music and a private elevator directly to our penthouse—a real luxury!

A few minor issues arose: on arrival, there was a slight odor from the shower drain, quickly managed with towels. Storage was limited; the large bohemian-style wardrobe was fine for hanging clothes, but no drawers for smaller items like underwear or socks. The lighting touchscreens were innovative but not set up correctly, and the jacuzzi hadn’t been cleaned properly. All issues were promptly addressed after reporting them.

We arranged a car through the hotel easily, including leaving it at the airport. Staff were exceptionally friendly, greeting us daily with cheerful “Kalimera” and small chats, making us feel very welcome. The restaurant team was equally attentive, and after a few days, we felt a personal connection.Although we didn’t use the pool much, we were offered another room with a shared pool when we wanted to extend our stay. Overall, Cabana Blu was fantastic—clean, well-maintained, and with staff who went above and beyond.

Das Hotel liegt sehr nah am zugeordneten, sauberen Strandabschnitt. Zimmer war ausreichend groß und sauber. Es fehlen Ablagen und Haken für die Handtücher in Waschtischnähe. All incl. mit gutem Getränke- und Cocktailangebot im Haus und am Strand. Beim Buffet könnte es etwas mehr griechische Küche geben.
Alles in allem eine Empfehlung auch dank der sehr freundlichen und motivierten Mitarbeiter auch zum Saisonende. Hervorzuheben sind Vivi und das Team der Strandbar Elia.
