The shuttle bus is by regular. The hotel takes 15 minutes to drive to and my room while decent inside was freezing cold and the A/C didn’t work. I had tried to ask some questions after arriving but they stopped responding. So I gave up informing them it was cold. I would not recommend this place. It was cheap so I tried it but would not stay there again.

The water heater leaked profusely and caused water all over the bathroom floor which I was then told to deal with. The room is also very cold and you cannot adjust the heat. This is very obvious an office suite that was converted into a room and overall was not great. The shuttle was the only plus.

I overlooked the fact that GK Airport Suites - Free Shuttle is a self-check in establishment in the middle of nowhere. Big mistake.

Upside:

Shuttle – multiple messages to establishment via the Hotelcom booking page about shuttle details were ignored, no response. After several calls, I eventually reached an agent. Apparently, pick up and drop off location and times could not be forwarded as the booking app did not allow it. Ultimately a link to WhatsApp was created. Amateur.
Fiddly box-on-wall with no exterior lighting to gain keys and access to the building.
Bleak apartment – table, bed, tv with no channels, basic bathroom, no heating.

Conclusion:
GK Airport Suites reminded me of hostel type accommodation 40 years ago. I regret paying an astonishing €97.29 for this. Unless you have a very late arrival (I did) or a very early departure then choose a decent hotel somewhere convenient.

The room looked nothing like it did in the picture... The beds were uncomfortable, and there's no way more than 3 people can sleep there. Definitely wouldn't recommend.
On top of that, the shuttle on the way there was late and the one on the way back to the airport left early, so we had no way of getting to the airport and caught our flight by the skin of our teeth with a taxi.

The room was akward in set up. It was just a place for us to rest our heads close to the airport, but a bit disappointing. The shower was awkward and the water went all over the floor. The coffee machine needs a lot of cleaning. We decided not to use it. We appreciated the shuttle and it could be a cute place. Just needs some attention.

I applaud this property for their easy communication, clear instructions and efficient shuttle service. The apartment is clean and has the necessities. The area is sketchy at night but the building and apartment are secure. Just he aware that there are no active businesses or residents in the area after dark. Great place for young people who want a great bargain (safe,clean,necessities).

Room was very clean and comfortable. There was one small problem with a leak in the hot water tank but it would not stop me from staying again.
The shuttle to and from the airport was absolutely wonderful. Seamless pick up both ways and it was so nice not to have to navigate transportation after landing. I would recommend for a place close to the airport and a quick stay over to catch another plane. Was perfect for what we needed.

This is an office building. They took an office and put a bed in it. The toilet had a leak. The bottle of wine is really a glass of wine. The shuttle runs on their schedule every 1 1/2 hours and you have to wait as we did for 1 1/4 hours at the airport to be picked up. There is nothing in the area. The only good thing was the water pressure in the shower. Pictures don't lie.

Overall the hotel was good as a venue and offered clean room with basic facilities. However the biggest disadvantage is that is not offering regular transfers to the airport. In my case they offered at 8 or at 10 in the morning and I had to take a taxi and pay myself 25 euros to get to the airport at 9.15 that I wanted. Pity.

The only issue revolved around our airport shuttle. We were originally given 2 options 3:45am or 5 am. We chose the 5 am. This was updated to 4:30 after our arrival. It was changed again to 4:15 at 11:30 the night before we were to leave. Unfortunately this was well after we had gone to bed. We woke up with approximately 20 minutes to get ready. Changing time is fine but it was quite late to make the change. Everything else was excellent

Unreliable shuttle service

The hotel advertised a free shuttle to the airport but in reality it abandoned my daughter because the flight was 10 mins late and offered her to wait for 90 minutes late at night at the airport for the next shuttle.
Flight delays are common and they had her flight information so they knew there would be a slight delay in the arrival and should have prepared for that. Instructing the traveler to wait for 90 minutes in the middle of the night after a long international flight is never ok.

The studio we booked is separate from the hotel. There is no reception at the location we stayed at. We got instructions via WhatsApp on how to get in. The lock box with our keys was hard to see after dark which we needed a combo for. We had to walk on dangerous streets to get there from the main hotel location. We were so sacred getting there due to fast and non stopping drivers. Then the key to the lobby broke. The hotel staff tried to be helpful but they wouldn’t walk with us to the apartment. They ended up having to drive us there. Make sure you get a room in the same building where the reception is… otherwise your

The owners made our experience so nice and comfortable. They allowrd us to check into one of our rooms eatly so we had a place to keep our luggage. Very nice town close by (within walking distance) with great restaurants and a fabulous bakery. GK transported us to the airport very early the next day for free. Room was spacious and very clean. I would stay here again.

It’s like staying at a converted office building The room next door shares the same balcony they can easily see from our window
The furniture are deteriorating the place is situated in a residential area with limited amenities and dogs barking all night
There is no ramp to carry your luggages the shower floor is extremely slippery very dangerous and you have to turn on the hot water tank upon arrival to shower the shuttle bus was 20 minutes late

J’avais réservé à cause de la navette gratuite vers l’aéroport. Finalement nous sommes arrivés à l’aéroport à 20h35 plutôt que 19h55. Pas de navette disponible avant minuit pour nous amener à la chambre. Le lendemain nous devions retourner à l’aéroport pour midi, encore une fois pas de navette disponible. Nous avons eu besoin de taxi pour l’aller et le retour. Nous étions 3 adultes. L’annonce disait un grand lit et 1 lit simple. Le lit simple était plutôt un lit pliant.

Don’t advertise free shuttle when it does not offer a service that would suit travelers, place is a disused office building that has a shower added, bed was hard as a rock, extremely budget focused. Save your money, pay extra to avoid the long taxi ride. No amenities or eateries near by. Don’t trust pictures posted. Yes, you can tell it’s an old office by the network ports and office lighting. Plus a dog barked all night. In one comment - boo.

I booked this property through Expedia to stay near the airport, but the experience was alarming and unsafe. A few hours before arrival, I was told I had to submit my passport over WhatsApp in order to check in. Already in transit, I had no choice but to comply, which raised serious privacy concerns.

When we arrived, the situation was worse: no reception or staff, the front door lock was broken so anyone could enter, and the rooms were makeshift, dirty, and full of mold. Within minutes we were coughing from the air. It looked nothing like a real hotel, more like offices converted into unsafe “rooms.”

For our health and safety, we left immediately in the middle of the night, booked another hotel through Expedia, and paid for a taxi. Even the taxi driver said he regularly picks up guests fleeing this property.

This was a very distressing experience on what was otherwise a beautiful trip. Travelers deserve to be protected from unsafe listings like this.

Fine for overnighter near Athens, Greece airport

Just know this is a virtual service hotel. No front desk. The free airport hotel airport shuttle appears to run twice a day. We took the 1030am shuttle in order to make our 525pm international flight from Athens, Greece to NYC. Shuttle took our accommodations equipment for free. Room was big and clean. Wonderfully got an early check-in at noon as the room was available. Has elevator. Some restaurants walkable. Download Athens app for reasonable taxi rates. Small markets nearby. Bed minimalist, mattress very firm. Only truly objectionable room item was sofa. There is also a third single bed, same room. We stayed 1 night for an airline ticket the following day. Would stay there again for an over-nighter. This is beyond the suburbs Athens. There is nothing to see here but this transfer was fine for 1 night.

Large 1 bedroom 5th floor suite. Opens to balcony overlooking city. We were only there 1 night to catch an early flight, so I didn't expect much. But it was comfortable, spacious, clean, and the communication was excellent. The drivers were friendly and punctual. The neighborhood was a little sketchy but the local restaurants were very good.

This place is just an office converted into a suite. The beds mattress were very hard and the frame was noisy, this not to mention the noisy air conditioning and the lack of a proper shower.
To stay in this place you need a phone and internet connection or the ability to make calls or receive txt. No lobby or contact with any personel from the hotel other than txt, emails, WhatsApp or calls. This is just a room to stay close to the airport.
I have to say that t was a clean and safe, and the shuttle to the airport helped.

This is an office 'converted' into a hotel room with almost no amenities. They advertise 'kitchen' which is absurd as there's no oven, cooktop, microwave or even a burner to be able to warm up any food. Bed is quite uncomfortable and I couldn't get hot water in the morning, barely warm. The transportation included was good, comfortable and efficient. Everything else really needs a serious upgrade.

I wa Ted a refund from the first moment I got there. It’s an office space. Converted badly into an apt with business and offices in it. Shower is a Sta d alone outside of bathroom. Very prison looking. Falsely advertised close to airport. It’s actually quite far and costly to get to. Away from any main attractions or anything. A lot of noise with 2 huge dogs barking through the night. Very uncomfortable beds. Terrible!

Communication was very bad. They had arranged the shuttle at the wrong time even though we sent clear instructions. The pick up shuttle did not have AC and we had to wait in there for 25 min for other passengers. If I knew this we would have just used uber. No communication about check in until I called that day before boarding my flight. The morning of shuttle arrived 20 min late when I messaged him for a status they said, we tried to call you? Just answer my question where is the shuttle? Room had no issues was fine for my family but would never book again unless there was a reception.

I would have given this property all excellents except for the fact that the “free” transportation to the property doesn’t run often enough. Our flight was delayed by a half hour, the shuttle would only wait an extra 10 minutes for us so we missed that free ride. The next free one offered was going to be 2 hours later, unacceptable! We decided to take a taxi since the property was listed as only 10 minutes away. Yes, it’s relatively close to the airport but the taxi driver charged us 35 euros for the ride! I was livid The reason I chose this property was for the free shuttle service and it wasn’t free at all.
The shuttle is a large van that transports people to several different destinations around the airport I gather, in the morning when we were taken back to the airport there were already 10 people in the van.
The space was huge, the bed very comfortable and the pillows were the best we had in Greece. The shower is separate from the toilet and sink so it was great for my husband and I to get ready in the morning.
We let ourselves in after getting a code to unlock the keys. We never saw a human but the person texting me was quick with responses.
About a 3 block walk away was a restaurant were we had a decent meal our last night in Greecec.

This was an odd place - converted commercial/office space very sparsely furnished and pretty depressing, but very clean w/ good AC and quiet neighborhood with cafe one block away for morning coffee. This property felt like a bate and switch. The rooms had exactly what they said would be there but it’s obviously a converted office building. The surrounding neighborhood was odd, many abandoned lots interspersed with apartments. We didn’t feel unsafe, just felt off.The rooms were clean but needed paint. The furnishings were sparse at best . Check in instructions came via What’s App. Fortunately from other reviews I knew to look for them. The first shuttle driver was extremely rude! Our return driver left us at arrivals. We had to navigate our way to departures dragging our luggage. Overall - this was a place to sleep before a morning flight but i would not stay here again

The unit was spacious but there were exposed repairs that could have been covered up fixed; ex scuff marks on walls, exposed cement in bathroom, ceiling tile.
The mattress felt like a box spring; very hard / uncomfortable.
This was my 1st stay and last stay at a VIP property. Guests are better served by on site management.
The elevator and surrounding area seemed unsafe.
The shuttle service was late upon arrival and departure.

This was an apartment inside a commercial business complex. It was interesting staying here. The elevator was very narrow so pack light and compact bags. The place offered just enough to get me through my layover. The bed was low, like IKEA furniture throughout the place. It was clean and ready to use. The locks on the door were interesting to use as well.

This is not a hotel. Expedia needs to stop listing it as one. The bed was so hard, i could not sleep on it. I have been camping on solid ground that was more comfortable. The noise from the airport and dogs barking outside was disturbing. Luckily I had a sleep mask otherwise the light coming into the windows even with the shades drawn would have prevented a good night's sleep. The \"free\" shuttle...well, they wanted to put us on a shuttle that would have gotten us to the airport a full two hours before we needed to be there because the time that we needed was \"fully booked.\" We got our own transportation...20 Euros! For the price that the \"hotel\" charged--such a rip off.

This is a self-service condo where you need to preregister and they email you instructions on how to get into the unit. Sadly, I was unaware of this until we got to the property because I did not get the email. The lady we called emailed the link again and we had to do it outside in the sun. The property is almost bare minimum but clean, well-maintained and the front door is better than most safes which guarranteed a good nite's sleep free of any worries. Airport transport was convenient but the driver was late...probably not his fault because he had to pick up other folks.

It’s a place to spend a few hours to catch the flight out of airport. The shuttle service runs on their schedules. For a 4AM departure, the shuttle picked us up at 23:45. We were hoping to schedule one at around 2AM, but their best pick up was 23:45.

Not much to like. There were free shuttle to and from the airport but no were it it advertise that it was an unmanned hotel. Shelf check in. They have an office 24 hour supposedly a 5 minute walk from the hotel and they give a directions by street names but guess what no street signs. It was 9pm and dark and they want me to walk there. Even in the morning and asking someone from the neighborhood they could not tell me were it was. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel.
