Not adults only, we did see children, they also wanted 35 euros to use the better gym across the way, at their bigger hotel. The rooms were just ok, nothing special and the shower in the bathroom was old, caulking around the tub was rusty, not what we expected at all.
Better options await. Will not be returning.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Accommodations fit two people (they are on the smaller side unless you get a suite), but they are nice and clean. Breakfast in the morning was great with a nice selection. You don’t have access to the Divani Apollon pool while staying at the Divani Escape - they wanted to charge 85 euro to stay at the pool for the day. You do have free access to Apollon Beach. Restaurants are walkable and you’re a 10-15 min drive from other main areas like Glyfada, Vari and Varkiza.

We were diverted to Athens from Santorini. We had to find accommodations without any guidance.
Very lucky to find this spot. Wish we could have explored, but had to fly out at 5am next day.

Good for boutique but not on the beach hotel

The hotel is boutique and it lives up to the name. Sadly it is not on the beach hotel and none of the amenities and facilities which the other big Divani Apollo hotel available to the guests free of charge were available to the Escape guests for free. For example you had to pay (extortionate amounts!) for spa or swimming pool or beach facilities which were available only in the other hotel but not this one. It says that it has a pool outside, far from it, it is a puddle overlooking the main street. Great for boutique hotel but missold on amenities, advertising needs updating. If one was to walk on the beach area, there were far more reasonable facilities and well.proced restaurants, that was a great alternative.

We booked two suites for our preperation for our wedding. However, the suite for the bride was not a suite as stated on the website, but a superior room and definitely not 40sq meters. Since we had booked two suites was easy to compare and understand the difference. As a result, the bride (the room booked for 3 nights) had to prepare for the wedding at a room half of the size of the other suit. We complained and explained it and they said that on their system those two rooms are in the same category (although the one was half the size of the other). At the end for the first night after our wedding they changed us to a bigger room (that’s why I do mot give 1 star) but it was a really bad experience on our big day.

Sadly this is a bad review, wish it wasn’t the case.
I don’t even know how this hotel is considered 5 star, it’s 4 and that’s a stretch.
The room was quite basic, I found hair (short hair, I’d like to not think where it came from!) in my bed.
Luckily I was only there for one night.
We arrived quite late and ordered food - turkey sandwich and Greek salad. The Greek salad was nice but the turkey sandwich felt like a 5 year old prepared it. It also took 40 minutes to make and when I was checking up on the order the person who responded was extremely rude.
One good thing I must mention is the lady who checked us in was so incredibly kind and accommodating and the cleaning lady was sweet - must be said.

The Divani Escape was a great place to stay. The staff are extremely courteous and helpful with any question I had. It was the quietest place I had ever stayed and the Free breakfast was the BEST I've ever had. The only negative point was I read that I could use the pool at the Divani Apollo across the street, but was charged €85 which I felt was very expensive.

Apollon Suites feels like the classy younger sibling to the ginormous Divani Thalasso next door and across the street. Apollon suites felt luxurious, very clean, very accessible, and private - we were able to lounge by the pool a few times, and barely had company, although it is small. Complimentary breakfast 10/10. Area of Vouliagmeni is a dream! Stay here if you want to explore Athens- a dream to come back to after hustle and bustle of the city center. Apollon beach also impressive and just 15💶 per chair. This hotel was our “splurge” of the trip for 2 nights and was ABSOLUTELY worth it.

We liked the service and cleanness of the hotel.
One thing that everyone needs to know is their pool is very small and only has 4 lounge chairs. Their brochures, website and even the posters in their elevators show the large pool and beach area but the only access is to pay the extra 39 euros at the Divani Palace.
Divani Suits and Davani Palace operate as two separate hotels.

Having paid a very a lot of money for this accommodation, I was appalled to discover that the “superior suite” was in fact a dark single room (albeit large) with a balcony directly overlooking an active building site, literally 10 m away. as a result, I moved immediately to the main hotel with the aid of the duty manager who was very understanding and helpful regarding the situation.

Absolutely loved the swimming pool and beach area.
However, if you are staying at Apollon Suites, you have to walk to the Divani Apollon Hotel to use the swimming pool (about 6 mins).
The swimming pool is free to use but chairs at the beach have to be paid for.
€9 for a small tub of ice-cream at the swimming pool is ridiculous, but other food is priced as you would expect for this type of hotel.

Beware the fraudulent listing of this hotel. It shows pictures of pools, beach umbrellas and sunbeds as well as listing them as facilities when in reality these are found in the sister Divani hotel across the road. As they now are separate entities you will be required to pay between 40 and 50 euros to use each facility. The Divani Apollion Suites is a bare and bone hotel providing just rooms and breakfast, no other facility or amenity. It is listed as a 5 star hotel but I have serious doubts on the veracity of this claim seeing as the hotel offers absolutely no service to its guests. Bottom line: avoid, there are much better options in the area for the same or better price.

The location, on the beach & in one of Athens' richest neighborhoods, is perfect for going into Athens to see the sights during the day or do some work and then relaxing in the evenings. Absolutely nothing is included with your room, and everything requires a reservation, which there aren't enough of. We booked two nights at the end of our long Greece trip as a means of rest and recovery from a week of running and adventure. We arrive to find the are not enough spa service appointments for everyone. Only one massage appointment was left a day in advance. But the spa didn't feel busy, it was quite dead actually. So I don't really understand what the point of this resort was, could have just stayed at any hotel and had the same experience. Even going to the beach required a reservation, which there were none available.
Restaurant was way more expensive than the beach side restaurants right across the street, just FYI.
Our room was ok except the A/C pooped out in the middle of the night. Staff promptly fixed the next morning.

Rooms were small and dated - bad lighting in the rooms and only one tiny mirror (no floor length). Service (mainly in the main hotel) was very poor, expect at least a 30 min wait every time you order a drink at the pool and to have to ask multiple times. 20€ to use the gym every time which is unheard of when you’re paying for facilities. Very disappointing. Only positives would be the quality of food (even though you need to wait an hour to get it) and the salt water pool.

Overall this is really an add on building to the large conference hotel next door, which is of a four star standard. \"Leading hotel of the world\" is debatable....

Had emailed the hotel to book but never heard back, so booked with Expedia.

Received a nice upgrade, but it overlooked the building opposite, so we saw into someone's kitchen. The hotel has no views at all of the sea and a décor which is a little questionable. Also couldn't help notice the scent in the lobby, smelled like a cleaning product.

Lots of \"nickel and diming\", charge to park a car, 10 euros.... use the gym, 20 euros.

At breakfast, the buffet is very average and the staff are disinterested and impolite.

Nice beach club and beach space, but lacking in service, never offered a drink or food, had to flag staff down to order and then it all arrived in plastic plates and cups. My orange juice was the same price as a salad?!

Avoided eating in the hotel again as a result and found a lot better options nearby.

Asked for a late check out, our options were until 2 pm or 6pm. we wanted it until 3 and were told, its either 2pm or 6pm.... so not much flexibility which isn't really the impression you would want when leaving.

The hotel was in a great location and staff at breakfast were very friendly. I was very disappointed at check out. I was charged for orange juice from mini bar that I did not consume. When I pointed that out the receptionist made me feel very awkward asked 3 times if I am sure and then called my other half who was still in the room to check again if maybe they had it. The money is no issue but that’s not great customer service, almost made me feel guilty for pointing it out.

A great option for visiting Athens
