Very friendly service, clean and nice relaxed vibe to the dining/lounge and pool areas. Only a 10 minute walk to the beach and local eateries that were good value.

We had two rooms and that were spacious and quiet.

The staff were superb. Special mention about Christina and the gentleman on reception morning of 12 October (sorry didn’t get his name), both were excellent, knowledgable, professional, courteous and nothing was too much trouble.
The staff at the hotel are the greatest asset.
One suggestion - drawer(s) are needed in the rooms.

Overpriced for what we got. Our room was small and the bathroom was tiny. We complained and they did move us to a larger room with more space. They charged us for things we never purchased like coffees.

The room was clean and modern overall and staff were friendly. Overall, wouldn’t recommend this hotel

We had an amazing stay at the Athenian Riviera Hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and cared for — always smiling and ready to help with anything we needed. Our room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed and a balcony that opened to stunning views.

Breakfast was excellent every morning, with a great variety of fresh, high-quality food. The pool area was clean and relaxing, perfect for unwinding after exploring the city and nearby beaches. The location is ideal — peaceful yet close enough to restaurants, cafes, and the sea.

What really stood out to us was the attention to detail and the warm hospitality. Everything felt personal and genuine, making the whole experience memorable. We would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Athens or the Riviera area — we can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely wonderful hotel, look no further and book. Location is short, pleasant walk to the beach and the property is maintained and laid out perfectly. The staff are so kind and helpful, I’ve only experienced similar hospitality in Switzerland.

This was a disappointing hotel. There was construction going on across the hotel and while sitting outside to eat. You saw work men drilling etc..The pool was tiny not appealing at all. The complimentary breakfast was nothing to talk about ordinary. They were low on fruit and you needed to ask them can you put out more fruit please. The hotel room was noisy. The bathroom door kept hitting when you go in and out if it. The shower that I had in my room was the best part.

In advance of our stay, the hotel was extremely helpful regarding a taxi strike occurring whilst we were in Athens. Upon arrival reception were friendly and helpful and we were offered a welcome drink. The room was lovely with a nice big balcony everything is clean and tidy. The bed was a little hard and we struggled to sleep due to that and loud air conditioning and automatic lights on the balcony which we couldn’t turn off. The pool area is lovely. However, the pool is extremely small. It is only for a dipped cool off! It is also in an area where a lot of development is occurring so opposite is a building site that has not yet been completed. This did not disturb our day, but I can imagine it may have disturbed others if they were working during the day. Our rate included breakfast however we had an early flight so they offered us a breakfast box which we appreciated. However, it was a dry, white bread, cheese, and ham sandwich, and apple and a juice carton, which was not reflective of the beautiful products that were on show in the breakfast area. It was very close to local eateries and only a 20 minute walk to the lake and for one night it suited our needs. I would not stay there again, however, due to the few points that I have mentioned.

We were able to walk to the beach as well as a ton of great restaurants and really enjoy the neighborhood. Whether in season or out this is a great place to stay!

Good Stay with Some Issues

Overall enjoyed our one night stay at this property. Amazing shower, clean room with a large patio and delicious full breakfast included in our stay and location close to the beach are what makes it worth it.

The issues are as follow:
- Thin walls, we could hear late nite conversation in the next room that made it hard to sleep
- The bed in our room had really visible wear and tear
- The tea kettle and other appliances are so far from the nearest outlet we had to boil water for tea by placing the kettle on the floor so it reached the power outlet. These are the little things that should be improved in a hotel of this class.

Enjoyed a three night stay and there are lots of beaches and restaurants a 10-15 walk away.

Make sure you spend a day at the nearby lake.

The best thing about this hotel was the staff. All so friendly and helpful. A special thank you to Marlyn for making us few so welcome.

We only stayed one night and chose this location because we wanted to visit Lake Vouliagmeni before an early flight the next day. The location was peaceful and walkable to the lake. The staff were super helpful in arranging an early morning taxi for us at a fair price. We didn't want to get out of bed in the morning because we were so comfortable. The shower was excellent too! I wish we could have stayed longer and would highly recommend this hotel to others!

I stayed in this hotel for my daughter’s wedding on Wednesday. The wedding venue was just a short taxi ride from the hotel. I stayed on a bed and breakfast basis.
The room was nice and clean with nice bed and the pillows were good not soft and the bedding was cotton, Breskfast was good and food was replenished There is also a Spa onsite I had one and it was very relaxing, Hotel is close to a sandy beach.

The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast staff were prompt with replenishing food and gave a last warning to tables before closing at 10:30. The food was decent, it was included. The coffee was really good. Lots of fun things to do within 10-15 min walking distance. The hop on/hop off bus has a stop near the beach. You can take the purple line and transfer to the red or other lines to see many popular sites. The restaurants along the beaches were clean, the food was generous and authentic and very tasty! Ubers/taxis were plentiful, but may have taken up to an hour during peak times and especially on weekends. It’s better to book a day or two in advance for a major event (like a wedding) or to travel to the airport to ensure you have transportation. A 7-min taxi to our wedding event at Island Art & Taste was $4-5 in Euros. We always tipped generously either on or off the app. Some drivers were not that fluent in English, but many attempted to try their best. One used a translator app on his phone which made for a better ride and in communicating our wishes. Sam “Stamatis” was the best, who gave us a tour of the city from the beach whereas some just played music. He also lives in NJ years ago. The housekeeping staff were very friendly and accommodating. There is an iron room, but no iron in each individual room, so plan accordingly. We didn’t use the pool, but it was open. We had a corner 2 bedroom unit so our balcony wrapped around the corner!

We had four nights at the hotel and found the staff to be really nice and helpful
We are at the restaurant on severally occasions and enjoyed the food every time
The only complaint I have is about our rooms size and outlook we had room 12 which never had much in the way of natural light so we needed the lights on all the time and the room itself was very cramped the bed on the other hand was excellent
We would stay there again as long as it was not one of the ground floor rooms

Every staff member whom we met or simply encountered was friendly, professional and always willing to help.
The included breakfast was fresh and plentiful with quite a variety of food and drink. We also highly recommend the restaurant for a wonderful lunch or dinner.
Beaches, grocery store, ATM as well as a large \"kiosk\" well stocked with snacks, cold drinks, reading material and beach items were a 10 minute stroll away. The hotel and grounds were very clean and well-maintained. Other family members also stayed at the Athenian Riviera. We gathered for drinks or just conversation on the patio and never felt rushed too leave. Loved our stay!

Beautiful hotel.,

We got the family suite with jacuzzi. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner at the hotel. The rooms were spacious and pretty. I only wished there were a thicker blanket to sleep when the AC was on. The balcony was enormous. Wasn’t sure if it was ok to play soccer. We had a nice view of the beach.

Off the beaten path, it is in a quiet neighborhood in the coastal area about 30 minutes south of Athens city. Clean, modern and reasonably priced, it is possibly the best bargain you'll encounter during your visit to this part of Greece. There are beaches nearby and the hotel does have a pool. The restaurant and bar serve good food and drink and my favorite was definitely the mushroom risotto! I had it two nights in a row for dinner!

If you are looking for a reasonably priced, modern hotel, this is your best option in Vouliagmeni. The staff are professional and attentive.

we visited greece for the first time and stayed at this hotel. WOW ! elegant, and classy yet unpretentious with the right level of charm and \"quaintness\". we loved this hotel. it was in a very quiet calm neighborhood within easy walking distance to the beach. it is south of athens and we would get an uber to the nearest metro so that we could ride it to the acropolis. the staff went out of their way to be helpful. breakfast each morning was hearty ! if i had one criticism it would be that the room had two twin beds stuck together to make a larger bed and that was a little awkward during snuggle time. but this seems to be standard in europe so i'm not going to complain. you can bet we will stay here the next time we visit greece, no doubt about that !

Staff were really welcoming on arrival. I stayed for 3 nights and it was an average experience overall. My room was on 2nd floor very close to the lift and stairs and I could pretty much hear everything going on in the hall way. The room was also quite small, it felt like everything was squeezed in e.g I ordered room service and couldn't fit the plate on the table in the room.

Beautiful little boutique hotel. The room was lovely, in a good condition and clean. Bed was very comfortable. The only inconvenience was that there were no drawers, only a hanging wardrobe to hang clothes, the shelf was very high up. The hairdryer was also very weK in power. The toilet flush was also not at all powerful, so I’m not sure if this is generally normal for this area of Athens. Breakfast was excellent, staff always friendly and helpful, and hotel location was a short walk (7mins) to the beautiful Vouglameni beach. I would certainly stay again, highly recommended. Thank you!

Pros: Nice neighborhood and close to the beach.
Cons: Terrible room, should not be used for guests. Located next to the \"business end\" of the hotel where all the staff activity is occurring. Constant, loud noises from evening till morning and no sound proofing for the room. It was impossible to sleep. I really am displeased for the first time with a hotel stay and am disappointed that booking through expedia gets you the worst room in a hotel and we avoided being in our room as much as possible. I am not inclined to book through expedia again and would like them to reimburse me for this stay. No matter the savings, the basic expectation from an accommodation is that one is able to sleep.
