Hotel Urban is a fantastic hotel! Walking distance to Gran Via, Puerta del Sol and the Prado Museum. Upscale, chic & clean. Most importantly the staff is absolutely amazing, Lydia and Lydia were super friendly and helpful. Sadly I only stayed one night but will be back, in the future.

My niece and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this amazing hotel in Madrid, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment we stepped through the doors, everything was flawless – warm welcomes, thoughtful touches, and impeccable service from the entire team.

We were celebrating my niece’s 18th birthday, and the hotel went above and beyond to make it truly special. Waiting in our room was a complimentary bottle of cava, a beautifully presented cake, and a single red rose – such a thoughtful gesture that brought real joy to the start of our trip. It’s rare to find that level of care, and it didn’t go unnoticed.

One of the loveliest surprises was the complimentary mini bar – restocked daily and filled with drinks. It made us feel so well looked after and added an extra layer of comfort to our stay. Another fun touch was the pick a mix station in the entrance!

Breakfast each morning was absolutely gorgeous – a generous and beautifully laid-out buffet with fresh pastries, Spanish cheeses, cured meats, fruit, and hot options cooked to order.

The rooftop terrace and splash pool was the perfect place for us to unwind late afternoon. Whether we were swimming, sunbathing, or enjoying a drink.

This hotel offers a wonderful blend of luxury, personality, and heartfelt hospitality. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Madrid – it was perfect in every way.

This was one of the best hotels I've stayed at. They went above and beyond and their staff was just amazing. So easy to get to Retiro Park, Gran Via and other attractions. I will stay here next time and if you're on the fence - I'd say go for it! You won't regret it.

Hotel urban is a nice boutique hotel. The BEST thing it has is its service. Everyone is incredible nice and attentive, super detailed oriented and available to give you recommendations and make reservations for your. The room was comfortable and clean. Bed was comfortable. a/c had some issues but nothing that ruined my stay. Theres a small bar with very good drinks, and a michelin stared restaurant. Its location is great, about 8 min walk to Puerta del Sol, 10 min to Gran Via. Many restaurant options near by. Great shopping in the area. The only thing i did not love wss the gym, its basically a closet and doesn’t have a treadmill. Recommend signing up for breakfast it is delicious and coffee is amazing. Highly highly recommend.

A must for Madrid

So this is one truly amazing hotel! I want to give a great recommendation, the staff was extremely polite and the service they provided is one of the best I have seen and I have seen a lot. They had an eye for every detail and the stay was perfect. Definitely will come back ! Also a great location.

Would have been good to communicate this to people prior so that we would have been better prepared for the noise and traffic . Other than that everything else wa amazing

We were so disappointed with the hotel Urban. Considering that it’s rated 5* and the price was steep - we expected a lot more! The rooms need renovating - lighting was poor - floors creaked - the sink and shower did not drain properly and they were not clean - there was mildew. We complained but management felt our complaints were unwarranted.

My room was large, such a comfortable bed with loads of pillows, large tv, nice mini bar fridge. Bathroom was spacious, and loved that there was a bathtub with the rainfall shower. Large windows, good A/C, very quiet, great walkable location. The pool and rooftop bar were super nice also. I highly recommend this hotel!

The property has a very calm ambience which is noticeable as soon as you walk in. It’s very clean and maintained to a high standard. The staff are knowledgeable, polite and extremely helpful. The only constructive criticism I have is the shortage of hanging space in the rooms. I had a duplex and as there were two of us, it would have been nice to have a bit more hanging space for towels and robes. There were only 2 pegs in the bathroom so it felt a little squashed.
The breakfast was very nice and there was plenty of variety. I would definitely go back.

Wow! I loved staying at this hotel. The amenities were gorgeous, with a Michelin rated restaurant in the lobby. Walking distance to so many tourist musts like la Plaza Mayor & Cardamomo flamenco. El hotel es maravilloso, amplio y muy bien decorado. Lejos fue el hotel con mejor atención al cliente en el que me hospede, es detacable la atención de David en el front desk que desde el momento uno fue extremadamente atento y resolutivo. Tuve un ligero inconveniente y absolutamente todos estuvieron ahi para resolverlo, Jacobo uno de los managers se preocupo y resolvió muy bien todo.
El personal del desayuno también increíble y la comida muy rica y prolijamente presentada.
Volvería a este hotel y lo recomiendo para todos los viajeros que busquen estar en un lugar céntrico pero tranquilo y disfrutar de la mejor atención de todo Madrid.

Wonderful 5 star experience in heart of Madrid!
