The check-in staff were very friendly and welcoming. However, the room was quite small and cramped. Breakfast was just average, with limited options.

My biggest issue was with the laundry service staff. I purchased a laundry voucher and received a code to use the machines, but the code didn’t work. Instead of being helpful, the staff member questioned me in an unfriendly way, asking how many times I had already used the code.

I explained to her, “I’ve only been here for 4 days and this is my first time doing laundry—how could I have used it multiple times?” She did reset the code for me, but her attitude was clearly annoyed and unpleasant, as if she assumed I was trying to reuse an old code.

I was super impressed with the property. I wasn’t sure what I was getting into when I booked, but I figured being part of the Hyatt Group it couldn’t be too bad. Check in was easy, in fact a got a room at noon. The woman at the front desk was helpful and proactive. The layout of the room was well thought out with plenty of outlets and charging options. Breakfast had so many wonder options, more than the prior seven hotels I had stayed at in Vietnam. The only slight annoyance and I mean slight, was the thickness of the hall carpet on the guest room hallways was deeper than necessary and made moving rolling suitcases a bit of a hassle. Remember I said slight, lol. I would highly recommend this hotel to all!

Great place to stay as a traveler because check in and checkout is discretionary. Rooms are a bit small but comfortable. Great breakfast fare. It's a bit off the center of town but easy to get anywhere by motorbike Grab, Grab taxi, or regular taxi. Very quiet and adult oriented space

Very small room, and not very clean. The room with view is very noisy at night so the hotel gives you ear buds, or you can opt for a room apparently quieter but without any view. I had terrible sleep when i stayed here, couldn’t wait until I could leave. The lobby feels like a casual pub or bar, doesnt have a vibe of a decent hotel. This hotel should be 3 stars, not 4 definitely.

Room is small. If you carry a big suitcase, you will have packing and unpacking issues on your hand. Facing the main road from the 6 was loud. The only sort of quiet time is between 1-4am and still you will hear drunken driver or passenger screeming from the street. Breakfast area is relatively small. You will find yourself sharing with a lot of people on some big tables. Food quality is so so. The lobby and the breakfast area are connected. They place LOUD music. I mean LOUD. Good luck with yelling at your fellow travellers just to have a conversation. Upon complaining about the loud music, they did not care. Business as usual. Will I return to this hotel, a big NO.

A fun, modern and boldly colourful hotel, brought to life by thoughtful design and the added ease of English-speaking staff. While the rooms run a little compact, the clever layout ensures everything you need is comfortably within reach, anchored by a truly comfortable bed. Breakfast was a standout highlight — bee pollen and spirulina, fresh dragon fruit, beetroot juice, dandelion tea and a genuinely impressive espresso. A stay that feels considered and uplifting and one I would happily return to.

Our room has a big window over looking the street. We were on the 6th floor and it was quiet. The hotel has self laundry machines and irons on the main floor. We did not use it. Room was modern, simple and small without a kettle. Breakfast was simple but wealthy. The hotel is walkable to the cathedral, post office and Ben Thành Market. We enjoyed our stay and will use it again in the future.

If you’re visiting Vietnam for the first time or maybe returning and looking for a nice newer hotel, friendly staff, convenient, etc. then I highly recommend Wink Hotel Saigon. I came from another hotel because it wasn’t exactly as advertised but I really enjoyed my stay at Wink. Everyone here is very nice, friendly and helpful. I do love their breakfast in the morning, they do have quite the variety each day.

Food was very good, but slightly limited in options. Rooms are well laid out and cozy. The staff are very attentive without being overbearing or intrusive. Chi Quyen and Anh Chris and Anh Bobby were standouts amongst the very supportive staff. The “hip slick” style was nice; but the warm friendly atmosphere really brought it home!

An amazing concept hotel. The staff were incredible. They were really there to make sure that your stay was nothing short of remarkable. They were polite and kind. While the room was small, they made up for it in the other communal spaces. The breakfast was probably the best we had in Vietnam (so far after more than 3 weeks). Would definitely stay again.
If you do stay there, please ask for a room facing the back, if available. It is a lot quieter on that side, though the hotel does provide ear plugs.

We enjoyed our stay at Solaria. The location is excellent. It is walkable to Hoan Kiem Lake, lots of delicious restaurants, as well as a neighborhood grocery store right around the corner. It is also on a one-way street busy in street life, but not traffic.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Check-in was straightforward and a complimentary drink and cake were offered. Solaria offers to hold your luggage after check-out.

The hotel breakfast is very tasty and being on the 9th floor, has a bright and airy atmosphere. It offers a nice balance of Vietnamese and Western cuisine, with an included a la carte menu with dishes such as Hanoi pho, bun cha, omlettes, eggs Benedict's, and more. The rooftop bar had very comfortable loungers, tasty cocktails, and unobtrusive music. Great place to relax and have good conversation.

We booked a King bed room. The room has a nice European vibe while the bed itself was very comfortable. There were areas that fell short in our opinion. The lighting was very poor after sunset. While there's a lot of different sources of light, none of them lit up the room. The flooring was damaged near the bathroom while the shower wall had a gaping vertical slit. The toilet paper was sandpaper. The AC vent blows directly onto the bed and where your head lies which I found uncomfortable while sleeping. The button to adjust the vent direction didn't work.

Overall, a pleasant stay, but not perfect due to the condition of our room.

Overall rating: 9/10 for my Queen suite

I had a pleasant 5 day stay here. The check-in and check-out process was straightforward and quick. I loved the apparent flexibility of their check-out policy. If you checked in at, say, 8 pm, then 8 pm would also be the latest you could check out. This is much better than other hotel policies I've experienced where they have fixed check-out times at 11 am or noon, at which point you end up wandering town while having to lug around your suitcases, waiting for that 7 pm flight because you wanted to make the most of your time here.

The morning breakfast had a nice spread of Asian and Western options. There is always a Vietnamese noodle soup available as well as a made to order omlette station. Other included niceties are a self serve coffee/cereal bar, specialty drink machine to make hot beverages like a cappuccino or matcha latte, and a fresh juice bar. You can choose to sit indoors or outdoors on the patio. Both have ample seating. I was really satisfied by the taste of all the food items and I could hear other guests making the same comments. I ate here every morning and didn't have an upset stomach so I would believe their food safety standards are high.

Location was excellent for my needs, otherwise it would be a 20 min walk to Book Street for example and there are certainly closer hotels to landmarks.

My 8th floor room was very quiet. It was clean and well lit. Only issue (-1) is the overhead shower sprayed badly due to calcium.

Honestly there isn't much to make issue about with the Wink. Being the first time in Ho Chi Minh, I chose it based on it having a 24/7 gym, it was in a safe area and easy to get to, and it looked and felt overall trendy and felt like a hip spot to be at.

Having said all that , it blew my expectations up in such a good way. Their breakfast buffet that was included, was hands down one of the best I've had from a hotel. The views from the room were amazing. The staff in every aspect were helpful , bright, and pleasant to deal with . The one thing that blew my mind, was that check out is at the same time you check in. My check in was 10pm, and therefore it was 10pm to check out. If I had known I wouldve have saved a days worth of renting the extra night , as I had a flight out at 150am , though that's not their fault. This has a lot of the same vibes as the Line hotel in Los Angeles, which I loved the first time I went , but I will without hesitation say this was much better. For the price of it and the district it's in, the amenities it has , and the helpful and great staff on hand , I have no problem highly recommending this to anyone who, like me, were or are not ready to jump headfirst into the heart and culture of what Vietnam and ho chi Minh is with it's controlled chaos, this hotel helps give you a modern take on many vietnamese flavors and energy.

As I've stated, it was my first time in HCMC, it most definitely not be my last, and the Wink will be my spot going forward!

This is my third stay at this property, my go to on short visits. Staff are helpful and friendly. Rooms are smallish but comfortable. The neighborhood has plenty of coffee shops and local eateries. You are only a xe omh, Grab, or taxi away to anywhere in the city.

This hotel was definitely not worth what we paid and I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s in bad location that is unsafe because of excessive vehicles coming at you at full speed and motorbikes getting even on side walks. This is in addition to stray dogs and trash all around. We also struggled with finding a clean restaurant to eat as food at this hotel was bad and overpriced. The hotel description was misleading in terms of main attractions close by and most of them were far and required a taxi. Also, insulation at this hotel was terrible causing bad smells and excessive noise. We spent two nights at this hotel and was awakened around 430 am every day.
The worst was on day 2 because of loud fire sirens that lasted for over 30 minutes. The room had no phone to call the operator and ask about what was going on. The room was also very basic even though it was on the top floor and had no coffee or tea. Cracks on the walls were very obvious and the ventilation exhausts were dirty including the one that was right above the elevated bed where my daughter was supposed to sleep. Our kids were also disappointed because the description on Expedia said that the room had a bunk bed and this was incorrect. There was only one queen sized bed, one twin sofa, and one elevated bed disconnected from it.
