We had a really good stay at the bloom. The rooms are spacious and clean, and perfect for a city break in Ho Chi Minh City. However I have to say, the highlight of our stay was Kim on reception. Kim was super friendly, kind and helpful. She was really attentive and made our stay as easy and as smooth as possible. Thank you!

Really appreciated the kind hearted folks that work tirelessly around the clock here. They were always available by Whatsapp chat for any questions or concerns we had even after my stay, they still followed up! The breakfast was really delicious and I enjoyed the gym facilities very much! the view on the terrace was beautiful and breathtaking! Thank you for making my stay so incredible!

We enjoyed our stay at The Bloom. It is located in a vibrant neighbourhood full of options for Vietnamese and Japanese food. The staff were all friendly, charming and extremely helpful, especially since I had a number of travel issues that I needed help with. The bathroom in our deluxe suite was spacious, it was handy having the kitchenette. The bed was comfortable and the hotel is on a quiet street away from the traffic and bustle of the neighbourhood. We felt we were in the \"real\" Saigon but with all the creature comforts. Although the hotel might not suit someone with real accessibility issues, I would recommend The Bloom as a comfortable haven in a busy city.

Everything about the hotels was great. Clean, furnace word everything you need. Good location. But I have to commend one staff member in particular that stood out. That would be Kim who worked the front desk. I feel she went above and beyond to make my stay there pleasant and comfortable. Kim would quickly and kindly address any needs that I had during my stay there. It was because of Kim that my experience there was positive and I would definitely stay there again and even recommend the hotel to others. I think she’s truly deserving of the acknowledgment that she truly deserves.

We had a great time in this property. Staff was very helpful the whole time.
What impressed me was that on last day my partner got sick and staff was very helpful and accommodating.
They let us stay after the check out time and found a room that was under maintenance for hot water but to us that was no problems at all and they did not charge anything extra for letting us stay longer.

The room was advertised as a Luxury Suite with a furnished balcony and a view of the city. The first room I wss assigned had a picture window looking out at balconies of a residential housing complex. My view was underwear hanging from a balcony. I was moved the next day into a room that did not have a furnished balcony nor a city view. The hotel informed me that none of their rooms had furnished balconies with city views. I picked this hotel versus the other choices because it was advertised as firnished balconies with a city view. This is false advertising and totally misleads consumers.

We had a very nice stay. The room is comfortable and has a well equipped kitchen, which we did not use, as there are all kinds of dining options close by, particularly Japanese.

We did have a problem with a broken faucet in the shower but it was fixed relatively quickly. My only other feedback would be to get rid of the ceramic soap/shampoo containers. they are not the right material for a shower and in fact fell a couple of times, breaking the cap once.

The WiFi is good and the staff are excellent. Very friendly and helpful. The location is good. Not quite downtown but a Grab to downtown is only a couple of bucks.

Very good value for the cost and recommended.

“Amazing Stay! Highly Recommend!”
I stayed at this hotel for almost two weeks during my first visit to Vietnam, and I will definitely be back! The staff were exceptional—friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable.

From the lounge staff who prepared my breakfast to perfection each day, to the housekeeping team who always kept my room spotless and well-stocked with hygiene products and fresh towels, everything was taken care of. The reception team also stood out, always greeting me with a smile and assisting with the door every time I entered or exited the hotel.

A special shoutout to Kim, the front desk receptionist, who truly made my first visit to Vietnam seamless. She made the check-in process a breeze, helped me arrange tours to the Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong River, and offered excellent recommendations for local attractions. She also provided helpful information about the 50th anniversary of Vietnam’s reunification.

The hotel is in a great location! The area felt safe to walk around, and there’s a wonderful coffee shop next door. Within a 3–5 minute walk, you’ll find more great cafes, Japanese restaurants, street food vendors, local eateries, bars, and even a convenience store. It’s also just a 10-minute drive from District 1, making it very convenient to explore.

Overall, this hotel made my first trip to Vietnam smooth and memorable. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Great little hotel- recommended

I’ve just stayed a week at this hotel and I would certainly come back if I get the chance. It is a little tucked away but the grab taxi drivers seem to find it ok. The staff are great, very helpful and spoke good English. The hotel is very clean although a little worn in places, but this didn’t detract from my stay. The lift will take you up to the 7th floor but breakfast is on the 8th so you will need to use the stairs a bit. They are quite steep so if you have mobility issues this may be a problem. There is a great coffee shop next door perfect for remote working and a couple of good vegan/vegetarian restaurants within 2-5 mins walk. There is also a great convenience store for drinks and snacks. As someone from the UK the area initially seemed a little bit rough, but as I got to know the city I felt safe in the area as a single female traveller.

Loved this place! Rooms were well put together. The full water cooler in the room and the bidet were very appreciated! Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. I love the neighborhood, especially Bel coffee next door and Birdy (a great little bar down the street). So many good food options nearby, and close to everything in D1. We will definitely stay here again when we are back in Ho Chi Minh.

The highlight of this location is definitely the friendly staff. I was traveling by myself for work, and the front-desk staff was always very friendly and attentive, and shared a lot of information both about local sites to see as well as just being a familiar and friendly face.

The breakfast was always great, and I did like having views of the city.

The room was nice and spacious, and I had plenty of room (especially coming from another hotel in a different country which had a very cramped room).

There is also a coffeeshop right next door which was nice for me to get work done in.

Overall, great staff and comfortable room!

I am visiting my son, who lives in HCM. This property is a two
Minute walk to his apartment, so that is why I stayed (and I’m going back at the end of my trip). It’s a very simple property. The jacuzzi on the rooftop isn’t filled. It’s somewhat annoying that you have to decide, the preceding evening, what time you want to eat breakfast the next morning - and you have to tell them what you want to eat, out of their limited options. Bizarre.

However, the staff is super friendly and helpful. It’s a budget friendly hotel.

This is my second visit to The Bloom. Everything else was perfect but this time even though i booked a different room from the first visit, i was given the same room again so that left me quite unpleasantly surprised.
One complain is the water dispenser could have been cold or hot but it dispenses neither temperature water.
Other than that, The Bloom offers great service to their guests and go out of their way to give you an experience you will never forget.

Pros: Brand new and very clean, apartment has large bathroom with dressing room and separate toilet, most comfortable bed you'll ever sleep in when travelling,close to restaurants & bars, hot & cold water cooler in the room.

Cons: You need to turn the drain cover over in the shower to stop flooding, paid for breakfast but kitchen wasn't working (was reimbursed for dining outside the hotel but it never came to anything near what we originally paid - the hotel definitely made a profit with this arrangement).

**** Beware of booking an airport transfer direct with the hotel.***** They quoted one price and then tried to charge more than 100K extra when we got there saying there was a 'price increase' and having a written quote didn't matter. They also tried to take us to a different hotel after picking us up from the airport saying there was no electricity in the room we had booked. We insisted that we wanted to see the room anyway before making a decision on moving hotel - the electrical problem was suddenly fixed on our way to the hotel.

It is a great hotel but don't pay in advance for breakfast or organise an airport transfer.

So the property had a few positives.. it was clean (other than the stairs, full of dust, so bad that my sister tripped and almost broke her arm), the bed was very comfortable and the sofa, I liked the water cooler very sensible idea!! Although the main thing I’m disgusted and outraged with is the communication and customer service I haven’t received!! First of all, when booking this I was aware that the hotel took cash on arrival for the stay which suited me perfectly!! On arrival we didn’t pay nor got asked to, so I presumed cash would be taken on departure.. it didn’t it was the next day (we were staying for 2 nights) that the receptionist asked for the money.. that’s absolutely fine no bother. However one day later when we were elsewhere in Vietnam I checked my account in which money had come out, unfortunately I couldn’t return to Ho Chi Minh as we had a short time in Vietnam and wanted to travel north. Therefore I contacted the property and explained the story they replied with confirmation that this had happened and assured me that the money would be in my account, 2 weeks later back and forth with emails I received nothing!! I then phoned the hotel, once again they told me that it would be put back urgently once they had sorted it out with the bank. It’s now been a month.. no acknowledgment to my last email, completely ignored my mum who has tried to contact them as well!! I would not recommended this place to anyone. I’m truly livid! Stealing from a traveller!!

No pool or rooftop!!!

The pool & rooftop is closed - April 2019. It was obvious they did not want to update the websites with this information. The location is also incorrect and they gave me some excuse - it was the websites fault. The actual room is very modern & clean if you don’t mind being right out of town. I suggest you check the actual address on google maps before you book. For the price is great value especially as taxis are so cheap to get anywhere in Ho Chi Minh because you will have to taxi everywhere. The big bonus was that we did get to see how the locals lived and had an excellent breakfast at a local coffee house we were the only tourists around. Lucky we had only booked for one night as an extended stay - the location would be very annoying

L’hôtel est situé un peu en dehors du centre mais à distance de marche du centre historique. La chambre était très propre et telle que décrite mais certaines installations étaient un peu défraîchies (taches sur les murs, joints de douche noircis, etc). Belle terrasse sur le toit, excellente literie.
