The man at breakfast made our day throughout the stay! The Shuttle service to town was amazing. The rooms were indeed very nice.The hotel lobby isn’t warm and welcoming it looks like a waiting room of an office made to look like a hotel. The SPA lacks - it seems they offer things that the personnel has not ready for - like they're still in school. Considering that Four Seasons is also a 5 star hotel you can see that it doesn’t compare and the star system is at fault. Other than that very enjoyable.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful spa resort in the Dolomites! Everything was so clean, peaceful, and beautifully maintained, the perfect place to relax after long days of hiking in the mountains. The included spa was a true highlight, and soaking there each evening felt like the ultimate reward.

The staff was incredible, especially Massimo, who was unbelievably kind and attentive, he truly anticipated our every need and made us feel so cared for. The included breakfast each morning was delicious and a perfect start to our day.

We also had a wonderful experience with the bartender in the evenings (we didn’t catch his name), but he really went above and beyond, offering the best local recommendations and making every interaction warm and friendly.

We’re already dreaming of coming back. Highly recommend this magical place to anyone visiting the Dolomites!

The hotel staff and facilities are good (SPA/pool in particular excellent) BUT we were in a 2 bedroom suite and the climate control / AC was not working throughout. We called at 2:30am restless from the poor disturbed sleep and were informed management had just decided on behalf of all guests to disable all climate control (!?!?) and that nothing could be done until the morning when the manager was back on shift.

We had a terrible night

On check out we were given a tiny discount (less than 10%)

The hotel is beautiful and the bar area was very nice. During our stay the room above us had renovations going on and there was jackhammering going on from mid morning to late afternoon. It would have been a much higher rating if not for that.

Let me start with the positives. The staff, location, service and the views were really good. However, we paid 500 Euros per night for the junior suite the breakfast offered was below 2 star quality. It was probably the worst food I have been served. I am not sure how a hotel which makes you pay 500 Euros for a day cannot give you a decent meal. The rooms were super clean but still a bit on the small side. Value for money - there are far better properties I would consider and would not stay here again.

We used the free shuttle service the entire time we were there until it was randomly \"not available\" on our last day there which was a Sunday. Besides that though, our trip was beyond amazing!

The hotel was pleasant overall. Cute hotel, but overlooking construction, Far from city center so car is necessary. The driveway is impossible to maneuver with cars parked on either side. Showers either have no curtain or broken curtain. Spa/pool is gorgeous but a swim cap is mandatory to swim, but available for purchase at spa. Very nice staff.

We stayed here when going hiking to Tre Cime. Unfortunately staff could not give directions on how to get there. They were very nice and had provided us with the map on how to get somewhere else, but didn't understand that we wanted to go see something further away. I think in the future they could try to have directions ready for various attractions in the area.

A boutique hotel slightly removed from the main town. Beautiful spa with steam and sauna. Huge pool. Clean and comfortable. Pleasant restaurant with very good menu. We were assigned a room with a bad view of construction site and crane. We asked for a different room and they graciously upgraded us to a suite which we appreciated. We would definitely stay here again. We liked it a lot.

Fine mid-priced hotel with great staff and food

Stayed at this hotel for 7 days while skiing in Cortina. Room was very nice. Staff was friendly and very professional. We ate breakfasts and four meals in the hotel's restaurants and food was excellent. Only drawback was hotel is a couple of miles from Cortina. This was partially alleviated by hourly hotel shuttle service and taxis

A very friendly and comfortable hotel, we were greeted with a surprise upgrade and found the hotel to be an ideal base with clean, tidy rooms, We had a hire care which was very useful but they have a shuttle bus I believe to the nearest town 3km away Have no complaints as we were looked after, had nice food and excellent health facilities, Very nice stay and would recommend or stay again

CONS: Our room on the first floor was extremely small and cramped....we had two suitcases and there is literally no place to put more than one suitcase. Since the desk in the room has to be used to store your luggage, the furniture is extremely beat up. The bathroom was also very small and outdated.....shower attached to the wall with no shower curtain or shower door so the bathroom got soaked each time shower is used, unless you sit in the tub using the hand-held device. Our room faced the construction site next door where apparently the hotel is expanding so our view was of a blank wall with machinery beyond. (but of course, the glorious mountains above that). The room was equipped with toiletries the night we arrived along with one plastic glass in the bathroom (none in the bedroom) and then the toiletries and glass were not replaced our second night. Parking at the hotel is complimentary but it is a mess since there is clearly not enough room for everyone so it requires always jockeying for space when you return to the hotel. The hotel is also outside of the main town which did not present a problem for us since we had a car. Apparently, there is a shuttle from what other reviewers have said, although we were never made aware of it. We also did not take advantage of the pool which may have been nice. PROS: the man at the front desk was very nice and helpful anytime we dealt with him and their breakfast was very nice.

Rooms were fairly large but showers were small. Breakfast was ok. Same items every day. Scrambled eggs were not hot, ever. Parked on street to avoid parking fees. Best part was shuttle guy, who was always happy and friendly. Nice pool and exercise room. Located on a dangerous curve, made pulling into and out of hotel dangerous. Probably would stay elsewhere next time.

Very nice wooden hotel with great facilities. The only downside is the lack of free parking (very limited number of spaces) and the fact that, durnig the four nights we stay there, the maids didn't manage to clean the two bathrooms or change the towels of the suite we were upgraded to properly (there was always one of the two missing).

Pool and spa are excellent. breakfast buffet pretty good too. Bathroom tiny, though, and the sitting room in our suite was unfriendly. Hotel bar is too small and the in-house \"lounge\" musician was, frankly, poor. Shuttle service into town was fine once you understood that the hotel's published timetable meant nothing, but if you give them a bit of notice they run it \"on demand\". Staff are polite and helpful albeit sometimes a bit formal. The food is excellent, but only the 4-course set menu changes; the a-la-carte has the same four main courses every day!

A 4 star hotel that did not live up to expectation

Numerous things did not work, namely the shower drain which caused a flood and the fridge. When I informed the front desk, I was told that all the fridges were \"warm\" like that in all the rooms, they did not even have a look at my fridge. As for the drain, after a couple of days of complaining, as I was unable to take a shower, I had to switch rooms, which was very inconvenient. While things like this do happen from time to time, the gentleman at the front desk was not at all helpful, he was pleasant but nothing ever got done.

The hotel is nice. You cannot walk to the center easily it is too far, and the road is not set up for pedestrian foot traffic This hotel allows smoking the rooms, we had to try 3 different rooms before having one that did not smell like stale smoke. The staff at the desk are very accommodating and in the restaurant as well. The entrance deserves some caution when entering and exiting as there is a very dangerous blind spot.

A Lovely Base for the Dolomites.

This is a great base for the area, outside Cortina but a pleasant walk or a local bus ride away. The spa is good, with a decent sized pool, and the food is high standard. Just a couple of minor issues; the road outside is not too busy but visibility is a bit restricted when crossing, and during our stay there was construction work underway on the adjoining apartment complex, which wasn't really a problem but did create some noise and restrict the view. Overall, though, very happy with the hotel.

Quiet and nice view of the mountains

About 5 km from Cortina.
Parking is free on the road outside, but you have to pay €15/day if you use the underground car park.
Hotel is lodge style and nicely furnished.
Rooms are clean and spaciousness, however the mattress and pillows in our room were hard.
Bathroom was clean and modern with a great shower.
Wifi is available but only seems to work when you are in the lobby.
The 'boot room' (we were skiing) was clean and dry and they have a great boot rack that drys your boots overnight.
Breakfast is very well presented, buffet style, with a good variety of fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, bread and pastries.
There is a hotel bus that transports you to and from Cortina.

This hotel is a 4 star experience by the way you are appreciated.....the moment you walk in. After a dreadful drive with our two month old in the car, we just needed a bit of pampering...although we had no idea how pampered we would be. From the reception by the bellman, the friendliness and frankness and professionalism of the manager to the down to earth server/bartender in the restaurant. This is how Italians make you feel. At home, with a little pampering. I highly recommend to couples, especially due to the location. It's at the foothills of the slope and breathtaking. The restaurant has this breathtaking view and is fit for a low key 5 star wedding reception. Trust me, we had ousr in 2010 at the Ritz in Marina del Rey and this is class. Our room was very large and had all the amenities I needed (wi-fi and a hot shower). Although a bath tub would be preferable. Great experience and a recommended stop on the way from Bayern to Venice.

Lovely hotel in beautiful surrounds

We were very comfortable staying here. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel had a great pool allowing a decent swim , the rooms were comfortable and very clean however a little dark due to all the brown timber and the shower was very cramped. Whilst the views were fantastic, the hotel is a long way from Cortina centre, about 3 or 4 km thus too far to walk.

1 - Breakfast: the same every day. For a 7-10 days stay, how can someone apreciate same food, not variated at all. There was just one tipe of eggs, ham and cheese. And some pastry
2 - Location: faraway from Cortina. It means about 20 euro by taxi to go and come back. The shuttle was just 4 times in the morning and 3 times at evenind. So you have to plan very detailed your exits.
3 - The room: nice but not in good condition. We had 3 times problems with the lighting sistem, twice with the heating and have no regular things in the room. No glasses, even it was a minibar in the lobby...

Allt var verkligen toppen. Alla i sällskapet var mycket nöjda. Personalen var mycket trevliga och hjälpsamma. Fin frukost. Rummen välstädade med frukt och choklad. Är det något som är utvecklingsbart är det kallbad på spa, det kunde jag sakna, men annars var spa avdelningen fräsch och fin. När vi skulle in till Cortina och äta fanns det transport dit och tillbaka.

Hotel bellissimo 4 stelle ma di categoria superiore. Al nostro arrivo siamo stati accolti con un aperitivo di benvenuto ed un upgrade della nostra stanza. La junior suite era molto grande elegante e davvero confortevole. Il personale è super gentile e ci ha dato tutte le informazioni sulle escursioni ed i ristoranti locali. La spa è molto bella e grande abbiamo provato anche i massaggi che sono davvero un’esperienza piacevole. Il ristorante è buono e la colazione piacevole.

Cura per il dettaglio, senza eccessivi formalismi

La struttura è ben inserita nel contesto alpino, e pur essendo adiacente alla via principale è assolutamente tranquilla. Servizio attento ma non cerimonioso e fortunatamente privo di eccessivi formalismi, colazione di buon livello (peccato solo che i prodotti a base di uova siano a pagamento). Camere ben realizzate e con cura del dettaglio e arredamento che ti fa sentire subito a casa trasmettendoti il calore di una casa di montagna grazie ai materiali usarti. L'area Piscina/Spa/Relax è semplice ma ben curata, peccato per l'assenza di una vasca idromassaggio esterna (forse però potrebbe darsi che durante il nostro soggiorno semplicemente non funzionasse). Da migliorare vi sarebbe la palestra, purtroppo un po' scarna. 4 stelle ben meritate, con tutti i pregi di una struttura rinnovata di recente!

Très content de notre séjour.
Tout était parfait... Chambre spacieuse, lit confortable.
Propreté impeccable que ce soit au Spa ou dans la chambre.
Petit déjeuner et dîner excellent.
L ensemble du personnel est très aimable et à l écoute de la clientèle.
Nous avons été surclassé, et nous avons eu droit à un verre de bienvenue ainsi qu à des petits gâteaux dès notre arrivée.
Nous reviendrons sans hésiter dans cet hôtel.

Schönes Hotel etwas ausserhalb von Cortina

Das Hotel liegt etwas ausserhalb von Cortina d'Ampezzo. Schilifte und Stadt nur mit Auto oder Shuttle erreichbar bzw 30 Minuten zu Fuss. Herrliches Dolomitenpanorama unmittelbar bei der Schisprungschanze
Das Personal in allen Bereichen sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Unsere Suite wurde unkompliziert up-gegraded und war dann sehr geräumig und komfortabel. Die Einrichtung und Zustand des Hauses und Spa's sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber eine grosse Renovierung ist für den Sommer geplant mit Wiedereröffnung im Winter als 5* Haus.
Im Spa gutes Hamam und Sauna und exzellentes Massageservice. Kleiner Fitnessbereich
Einzig der Preis des Abendessens scheint mit 50Euro pro Person auch für Hotelgäste doch etwas hoch!
Ansogst insgesamt sehr schöner und angenehmer Aufenthalt!

Viel zu teuer für die Leistung

Das Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb von Cortina d'Ampezzo, bietet jedoch einen Shuttle-Bus zu bestimmten Zeiten an - problematisch ist nur, dass der Shuttle-Bus nicht fährt, wenn es schneit oder die Stadt etwas voller ist - was dort immer der Fall ist. Der erste Reinfall.

Die Zimmer sind ok, etwas alt. Es zieht durch die geschlossenen Balkontüren, so dass es kalt ist.
Der Spa-Bereich ist mit 2 Saunen etwas spärlich, der Ruheraum ist keiner, da die italineinsichen Gäste dort fröhliche Familienparties veranstalten. Saunahandtücher kosten 3,00€ extra. In den Pool darf man nur mit Badehaube, welche man für 3,5€ erwerben kann.

Der größte Reinfall its das angebliche SPitzenrestaurant. Preise sind auf der Karte nicht zu finden, aber für 2 Personen ist man min bei 120€ dabei. Das Essen ist wirklich sehr gut, der Service dafür eine Katastrophe. Die Kellner können kein Englisch, räumen Tassen ab, obwohl man ein Kännchen mit Kaffe zu stehen hat, entreißen einem praktisch Teller wenn man noch isst. Simple Bestellungen wie Spiegeleiger zum Früstück kann man nur beim Ober aufgeben, der Rest der unzähligen Kellner ist dafür nicht berechtigt?!

Cortina in periodo di bassa stagione ...

Hotel buono, personale ok, pulizia camera non eccezionale, comfort mediocre a causa della temperatura troppo bassa in camera e anche soprattutto nella zona piscina della Spa. Colazione con poca scelta ed in particolare assenza totale di frutta, (spremuta di arancia solo a pagamento 6 eurini). Periodo di bassa stagione fine Novembre 2017, NON CONSIGLIATO, per chi vuole visitare Cortina, con quasi tutti i negozi chiusi per vacanze.(un mortorio ).
Prezzi non adeguati eccessivamente alti nonostante il periodo. Unica attrattiva le piste da sci.

After a long and exhausting hike in the Dolomites, the Faloria Mountain Spa Resort was exactly what we needed. We have been pumpered by welcoming staff during the two days of our stay. An amazing note also for the massage at the wellness center! Away from the city center, yet easily reachable by the free navette, the location of the resort is ideal. We would highly recommend.
